Great fishing trip on a budget
Reviewed by: Dan S. , 2019/08/17Captain Chuck and Warren did an excellent job of taking our group on a fishing trip out of Waikiki. This is not big game sport fishing! This is a great day cruise that allows for a bottom fishing experience and that is exactly what we got. The shuttle pickup right in front of our hotel and the meal served (not great) were just added bonus. Additionally, we got to eat some of the fish we caught on the grill during our return to port.
I would recommend the trip to anyone that is willing to get the open ocean fishing experience on a budget and is family friendly, even for younger kids/teens.
Will definitely do again in the future!

don't expect too much.

There weren't many fish caught. I only got one. my dad got nothing.
Bring your own food, dinner was rice, beans, and a hot dog. it wasn't BBQ like it said. It got pretty windy and cold. There were also around 30 or more people on board, so a bit crowded. no place to seat on. The highlight probably would have been the scenery. got very bored after about an hour later. most people fell in sleep.

いつのまにかイルカウォッチングに、、

私達は40分待ち、正直来るのか不安でした。
釣果は1匹、、釣り具も年季もの、エサはイカのみです。
同じツアーで連れていたのは3人くらい？でしょうか。
釣り方もレクチャーはないので経験豊かな人しか釣れないのかな？
でもクルーの陽気さとロケーションは最高としか言えません！

送迎は注意！
Reviewed by: えいちゃん&ひろくん, 2019/07/07予約確定後のバウチャーに｢滞在ホテル前で7時25分にピックアップ」と記載されていたにも関わらず、当日の朝、部屋を出る直前に、ホテルの部屋電話に、「ピックアップは無くなったから、自力でタクシーを拾って、集合場所まで来て」という英語での電話を受けた。タクシー代もこちらもち。いきなりの英語での電話による変更で、パニクる上、wifi状態も不安定で、Uberも未登録だったため、ホテル前で待機のタクシーを拾って、その運転手に、集合場所を明確に知らせるのに、とても苦労した。ハーバー内でも、迷って、タクシー代金も20ドル以上した。騙された気分。釣果はまあまあ。釣具はかなりの年季物で傷みがひどいが、釣れたから良し。送迎間際の送迎変更さえなければ、ほぼ大満足。出鼻を挫かれ、ホントにガッカリ。送迎があると安心せず、自力で集合する場合の備え(明確な集合位置確認、タクシー代、Uberアプリ等)をお薦めする。

きれいな海と陽気なアメリカ人
Reviewed by: Masu, 2019/05/04今回のハワイは、オアフ島に4泊6日の予定で、最後の日、ワイフはショッピング、私は一人で釣りに参加した。迎えのバスは私１人で、５分ほど遅れて乗船場に着いた。乗り込むと、既に２０人ほどの客が思い思いの場所を陣取っていた。日本人は私一人だけで、現地のハワイアンとアメリカンの様でした。クルーを含めてみんな陽気な人たちばかりでヘイ―！これスナックだ！と紙コップを渡してくれた。よく見るとその中にはイカを輪切りにした大きな餌が入っていた。ダイアモンドヘッドを見ながら釣りをしていたら突然大きな手ごたえがあった。みんなオーと歓声が上がった。陽気なアメリカンは頼みもしないのに、魚をつかみ針を外してくれた。いかにも自分が釣り上げたかのように満足そうに写真に納まっていた。日本では、よく釣りに行く私にとって、ちょっとおせっかいだな～。
それでも、客もクルーもとても気さくで、周りの人たちと、釣りの話で盛り上がり、とても楽しかった。ちょっと残念なことは〝送迎付き”のはずなのに
帰りは迎えが来ず、自分でホテルに帰った。（日本ではありえないよ）

Awesome time on Captain Tiger's Waikiki Sunset Bottom Fishing Cruise

Even if you don't catch a fish, which I think would be highley unlikely.
It's awesome to see the Honolulu skyline from the ocean.
Just be prepared for a little motion sickness, as i did towards the end of the trip.
But saying all that, we had great experience and definitely worth the money.

A shame
Reviewed by: Sam, 2019/01/26The crew were great but it was a really long slow boat ride out to the fishing spot. People started off really well catching fish, but we probably only stayed in that spot for around 15mins before moving to another, and then another. The final spot which we probably spent about 30mins in, only about 3 fish were caught in that time. Most of the fish caught were not edible either. The kids got sick from eating the sausage they served for lunch, as did a few other people and no it wasn’t sea sickness because we’ve been on boats plenty and never had an issue. There were also around 30 or more people on board, so a bit crowded. The highlight probably would have been the scenery and the turtles we saw.

かなりの揺れでした
Reviewed by: ぽんすけ, 2018/09/19日本でも、釣りはよく行くので、18歳の息子と父親の二人で参加。集合場所と目と鼻の先のホテルだったから楽ちんでした。しかし、全員が揃ったのは1時間後。時間設定を見直すべきと思います。かつて、日本で漁船に乗っても一度も船酔いをしなかった息子が、初めての船酔い。かなり揺れて、ガイドさんには、ご心配をお掛けしました。しかし一番お世話になったのは、一緒に乗船したお客の外人のおばちゃんで、船酔い薬(実際の効きはイマイチでした)を頂いたり、アドバイスやその他親身にいろいろ気遣っていただき本当にお世話になりました。海外の波は甘んじてはいけないと次回は強力な酔い止めを、用意します。ツアーは、大物を釣っていた方もいて、なかなか良かったのでは？しかし開催最低人数が15名以上で、なかなか確定の連絡来なかったり、催行可能なのに、返事が遅く、そこは、現地ツアーの回答がおそいのか、日本のツアー代理店がおそいのか、開催決定本当にギリギリでハラハラしました。

Nice quick fishing/boating experience
