I wanted to go horseback riding at Happy Trails but didn't have a way to get there, so I found this tour. It was a relief to be taken to the hard-to-reach Happy Trails. I don't need the doll or this tree, though... The guide was very pleasant, and I had a great time participating. I will use this service again when I go horseback riding.

ハッピートレイルズの乗馬がしたいが足がなく、このツアーを発見しました。
行きにくいハッピートレイルズに連れて行ってもらい助かりました。
なので、ドールとこの木は必要ないのですが。。
ガイドさんはとても感じの良い方で楽しく参加できました。
また乗馬の時は使わせていただきます。

My first time at Kualoa Ranch!! We chose the four-wheeler activity at my husband's request.

I’m confident in driving, so we set off from Waikiki early in a relaxed manner, hoping it wouldn’t rain despite the ominous clouds. We arrived at the meeting point before the 8:45 AM start time.

The restaurant next to the shop offered breakfast, and we were able to have a light meal with coffee and muffins.

Now, onto the four-wheeler! After watching the explanation video in Japanese, I learned that if you fail the test… you’ll be denied boarding… and instead… have to ride in the truck to observe… oh no!

Feeling nervous, I straddled the vehicle and pressed the accelerator with my thumb, but it required more grip strength than I expected. Plus, the steering was heavy… I had no room to spare… The instructor in front was taking the curves smoothly, so I had to desperately follow about 2 meters behind.

There were three other people with us, all foreigners, who seemed to handle it just fine. I managed to pass the test, but at one point, a foreign mother dropped out, proving that grip strength is indeed quite necessary.

However, as I gradually got used to it, I started to enjoy the breathtaking views, feeling like I was part of a movie scene. It rained partway through, but it felt refreshing, and splashing through puddles and bumpy roads became fun.

The two hours flew by. I’m really happy with the experience. I recommend enjoying the full two hours rather than just one!

初めてのクワロアランチ!! 数あるアクティビティから四輪バギーを選んだのは、旦那さまのリクエストでした。
車の運転には自信があるので、気楽な感じで早朝ワイキキを出発、怪しい雲行きで雨が降ったらやだなぁ～と思いつつ、現地には集合時間の8時45分前には到着出来ました。
売店隣りのレストランでは、朝食の用意もあり、コーヒーとマフィンで軽く腹ごしらえも出来ました。
いざ、四輪バギーへ♪日本語のビデオで説明を聞いてみると、テストに落ちたら…乗車拒否…しかも…トラックに乗って見学…ガーン
緊張の中、またがってアクセルを親指で押すのですが、思った以上に握力がいるのです。
しかも、ハンドルの重いこと…余裕なんて全くありません…目の前のインストラクターはカーブをキュルキュル切るので、必死に２ｍ後をついていかなければいけないのです。
私達以外は３名、外人さんで、へっちゃらそうでした。なんとかテストをクリア出来たのですが…途中、外人のお母さんが脱落するなど、やっぱり握力がかなり必要なをです。
でも、次第に慣れてくると、大絶景も見れるようになり、まるで映画のワンシーンに溶け込んだみたいでした。雨が途中で降ったりしましたが、それが気持ち良くて、水溜まりのダイブや凸凹道も面白くなってきます。
2時間も、あっと言う間でした。いい体験が出来たと喜んでいます。
1時間より、2時間満喫される事をおすすめします～

We all enjoyed the ride. Savannah was a great guide and full of information on the local area. The horses were well groomed and behaved. The top of the mountain where we stopped for dinner provided gorgeous views. The dinner was good and so was the company. Gunstock Ranch was very beautiful, and the drive from Waikiki was beautiful too. I would definitely recommend it. Well worth it.

We drove to the North in a rental car and participated in horseback riding with our family. The Hawaii Polo Club, where we were taken care of this time, is located along the coast, with a dreamlike setting of white sandy beaches next to vast polo fields. Although I only understand a little Japanese, the friendly staff were very kind to us, and we had a wonderful time that made me want to come back for sure. The pleasant breeze of the North felt on the horse's back, the blue sky of Hawaii—just amazing!!! I highly recommend it.

　レンタカーに乗ってノースまでドライブし、家族で乗馬に参加しました。今回お世話になったハワイポロクラブは海岸沿いの敷地で、白い砂浜と広大なポロフィールドが隣り合わせの夢のようなロケーションです。日本語は少ししか通じませんが、フレンドリーなスタッフに親切にしていただき、非常に楽しい時間を過ごす事ができ是非リピートしたいなって気持ちになりました。馬の背で感じるノースの心地良い風、ハワイの青い空、サイコー！！！お勧めです。

I have been to Hawaii over a dozen times and have been to Haleiwa and Giovanni's. This time, I didn't rent a car, so I joined a tour. My main goal was horseback riding, but I was also looking forward to shopping and dining in Haleiwa.

The driver seemed to be a veteran, and while you could say he was experienced, I felt like he didn't understand the excitement we had for participating in the tour. For example, when I requested Giovanni's, he repeatedly said, "It was featured on TV," and everyone else went to Macky's. I also got the impression that he somewhat dismissed Matsumoto Shave Ice, and we ended up going there just the two of us.

We were able to see sea turtles at the first beach we visited, but due to the reason that we couldn't stop the car, we were told to "return to the car right after taking photos."

Horseback riding was very enjoyable and became a great memory.

ハワイには十数回行っており、ハレイワにもジョバンニにも行った事があります。
今回は車を借りなかった為、ツアーに参加しました。
第一の目的は乗馬でしたが、ハレイワでのショッピングも食事も楽しみでした。

ドライバーさんはベテランらしく、良く言えば慣れていて、悪く言えば楽しみに参加した
気持ちをわかって頂けないように感じました。
例えばジョバンニをリクエストすると、「テレビで紹介されたから」と何度も言われ、
私たち以外はマッキーズに行きました。
マツモトシェイブアイスについても何となく否定された感じで、私たちだけ走って食べに
行きました。
ウミガメは最初に寄ったビーチで会えましたが、車を止めておけないという理由で、
「写真を撮ったらすぐに車に戻るように」でした。

乗馬はとても楽しく、良い思い出になりました。

I'm glad you were able to hit the key points during your visit. I chose horseback riding, and it was fine even as a beginner. It was great to see the big turtle too.

ポイントを押さえて回っていただけたのでよかったです。乗馬を選びましたが、初めてでも大丈夫でした。大きな亀も見れてよかったです。

I decided to come here because I heard it's the only place on Oahu where you can trot and canter. The sensation of running through the vast nature, feeling the wind while cantering, is just amazing!

I climbed a mountain and was able to see the beach from the top. The scenery is just beautiful!

Although only English is spoken, I think as long as you understand the terms for trot and canter, you can manage while riding. They also have helmet rentals, and you can easily go with just jeans and sneakers.

The location was a bit far from Waikiki, so I took a taxi. It took about an hour and a half one way, and the fare was around $130. It felt great to drive along the coastal highway. I think having a rental car would be convenient.

オアフ島で速歩、駈歩ができるのはここだけと聞いて決めました。日本では考えられない広大な自然の中を駈歩で風を切って走る感覚は最高です！
山を登り、頂上からはビーチまで見渡せました。とにかく景色が綺麗！

英語しか通じませんが、速歩（トロット）、駈歩（キャンター）の言葉さえ分かれば騎乗中はなんとかなると思います。
ヘルメットもレンタルがあるし、ジーンズとスニーカーさえあれば気軽に行くことができます。

場所だけはワイキキから遠かったのでタクシーを利用しました。片道1時間半程度、料金は130ドル程度でした。海沿いのハイウェイを走るのも気持ちよかったです。レンタカーがあると便利だと思います。

In the world of horseback riding, there are not many places where you can canter, but this place never disappoints, no matter when you visit (laughs). Even if you don't understand English, the handsome guide leads the way and turns back to ask, "Is cantering okay?" The well-trained horses recognize that this is a place where they can run, so they canter comfortably.

Gunstock is the best!! We will definitely visit again next time!

外乗ではなかなかキャンター（駈歩）させてもらえる所が少ない中ここはいつ訪れても裏切らないです（笑）
英語がわからなくてもイケメンガイドのお兄さんが先導してくれ後ろを振り返り「キャンターＯＫ？」って声をかけてくれます。きちんと調教された馬がここは走ってもＯＫの場所だと認識しているので気持ちよく駈歩してくれます。

ガンストックさん最高！！次回も絶対お邪魔します！

The scenery was nice, but I think it could use a bit more thrill. It's suitable for beginners.

景色はよかったが少しスリルあった方がいいと思う。初心者向き。

We participated as a couple. Since we are attending a riding school in Japan, we were looking forward to horseback riding abroad. The handsome staff communicated with us in broken Japanese, and we enjoyed a walk on the beautiful beach of the North Shore. Then we did log jumps, and afterwards, we even got to canter, which made us very satisfied.

夫婦で参加しました。
日本で乗馬学校に通っている事もあり海外での乗馬を楽しみにして。
英語が話せない私達にイケメンスタッフが片言の日本語で対応してくれノースショアの美しいビーチをお散歩。
そして丸太ん棒のジャンプ。その後駈歩までさせて頂き
とっても満足できました。

I love horseback riding and have taken various lessons, but I had my first experience with polo in Japan, as there weren't many opportunities.

First, we practiced hitting the ball on the ground. After that, I hit the ball while walking on the horse, and gradually I was able to hit the ball while the horse was running. The horse was very smart and moved towards the ball on its own.

I was very satisfied with the added enjoyment of horseback riding.

I had a great experience in the beautiful nature of the North Shore.

The staff were kind, and even though I didn't understand much English, we were able to communicate through gestures.

乗馬が好きでいろいろレッスンを受けてきましたが、ポロは日本では機会がなく初体験でした
まずは地上で球を打つ練習
その後、馬に乗り歩かせながら球を打ち、徐々に馬を走らせながら球を打つ所まで出来ました
馬がとても賢く、ポロに慣れているため球を打った方へ自ら移動します

乗馬プラスαの楽しさで大満足

ノースショアの大自然の中、とても良い経験ができました

スタッフの方も親切で英語があまりわからなくても身振り手振りで意志の疎通が出来ました

They took photos for us at every stop, so even as a couple, we didn't have to worry about taking pictures. I really appreciated this thoughtful gesture.

Since I chose the hiking plan, I walked through the botanical garden at the end point in Waimea Canyon, but it was hard to understand the different zones without being able to read English... I can recommend it for nature lovers, but if I were to do it again, I think I'd prefer horseback riding after seeing others.

I was told that in winter, it depends on the turtles, but luckily, we encountered a sea turtle basking on the rocks! The conversations along the way were enjoyable, but on the way back, I was so tired that I fell into a deep sleep. You can have such a fulfilling experience in a short amount of time. I highly recommend it.

行く先々でまず写真撮影をしてくれたので、カップルで参加してもカメラ撮影に気を揉まずにすみました。
本当にこういう心遣いは嬉しかったです。

ハイキングプランをチョイスしたので、ワイメア渓谷がゴール地点の植物園を歩いたのですが、英語が読めないとゾーンが変わってもよくわからないという…
自然大好き！な方にはオススメできますが、リピートするなら乗馬がいいなぁと他の方々を見て思いました。

冬場は寒いので出会えるかは亀次第…と説明を受けたものの、運良くウミガメの甲羅干しにも出会えてラッキー！
道中の会話も楽しかったのですが、帰りは疲れて熟睡してしまいました。
それだけ充実した内容を短時間で過ごせます。オススメです。

I go to Hawaii every year, and this was my second time participating. My son (11 years old) is really looking forward to the horseback riding here. There are options for valley riding and beach riding, but I think the valley riding is more enjoyable since it lasts for an hour and a half and includes some ups and downs.

During the valley riding, at the end, the instructor takes photos of each person on their horse from a scenic spot with your own camera. Don't forget to bring a digital camera or similar!

毎年ハワイへ行きますが、今回2回目の参加でした。ここの乗馬は、息子（11歳）がとても楽しみにしています。渓谷乗馬と海辺乗馬とありますが、渓谷乗馬の方が乗馬時間も1時間半と長く、アップダウンもあり、楽しめるのではと思います。
渓谷乗馬では、最後に景色の良い所から個々に馬に乗っている状態を手持ちのカメラで乗馬の先生が撮影してくれます。デジカメ等を忘れずに。

It was my first time horseback riding, and all three of us were truly satisfied with the smart horses. However, I had prepared under the assumption that we would be able to sightsee in Haleiwa, so it was disappointing that we only passed by and saw it from the car window. This experience is not suitable for those who want to shop or explore in Haleiwa. The taste was not as good as I had hoped, but I was able to enjoy the huli huli chicken and garlic shrimp, and I had a pleasant day overall. The guide was knowledgeable and flexibly took us to points where sea turtles come ashore. Thanks to that, I was able to take a great photo with a large turtle, which became a wonderful memory.

初めての乗馬でしたが、本当に賢い馬ばかりで、参加した３人とも大満足でした。
ただ、ハレイワの街を観光できるものと思い込んで下調べをするなどして準備していたので、車窓から見て通り過ぎるだけだったのは残念でした。
ハレイワで買物や見学をしたい方には不向きです。
味は期待したほどではなかったけれどフリフリチキンやガーリックシュリンプも食べる事ができたし、気持ちのよい一日を過ごす事ができました。
ガイドさんは物知りで、海亀の上陸するポイントなども臨機応変に案内して下さいました。おかげで、大きな亀とのツーショットを撮る事もでき良い思い出になりました。

I'm glad I could thoroughly experience the standard course. The shaved ice at Matsumoto was delicious.

定番コースをじっかりと体験できて良かった。マツモトのかき氷はおいしかった。

I had made various plans, and I received a notification the day before my arrival in Japan that the course had changed. Since I had already set my plans before departing, to find out that the desired course would change just one day before (with only two days left) is frustrating! The reason given was that there would be a motorcycle race. Surely, they must have known about this well in advance! Are they really deciding on the motorcycle race just a day before?!

I had hoped to follow a course that included filming locations from Jurassic Park, but it got canceled. This is terrible! They should have known about this at the time of booking. They just took my reservation and then informed me the day before that the course was unavailable... it's awful! I'm really disappointed!

I think it's important to double-check these things, as situations like this can happen!

いろいろ予定を決め、日本で予約到着後前日にコースが変わると連絡をいただきました。予定を決めてから出発していたため、しかも前日（残り２日）希望のコースが変わるなんて！理由はバイクレースがある為、とのこと。前日よりも前にわかっていることでしょう！！！！！！明日バイクレースやる？って決めることでしょうか？！
ジェラシックパークの撮影場所をめぐるコース希望だったので、キャンセルになりましたけど、
ひどいです！予約の時点でわかっていそうなものなのに、予約取るだけとって、前日にそのコースは出来ませんって・・・ひどいです！
がっかりです！
こんなこともあると思うので、しっかり確認されたほうがいいですよ！

I have been riding for 20 years, and since I only rode outside of Oahu in Hawaii, this was my first time riding on Oahu. I think it was great that I rode with a mother and daughter from the United States, and it turned out to be even better than I expected. Here, on full-day or half-day tours, there are mostly Japanese people, but this 2-hour ride is not included in the tours, so I really enjoyed experiencing Hawaii's nature while riding. I want to go again.

乗馬歴は20年と長く、ハワイではオアフ以外でしか乗馬しなかったので、初めてのオアフ乗馬でした。
一緒に乗ったのが米国の母娘さんだったのもよかったと思いますが、思っていた以上に良かったです。
ここは、一日や半日ツアーだと日本人ばかりですが、この2時間乗馬はツアーに組み込まれないので、本当にハワイの自然を乗馬で楽しめました。
もう一度行きたいです。

This time, I traveled to Hawaii with three friends for the first time in ten years. The average age of our group was 55, making it a trip for older gentlemen. Last time, we spent two days golfing and driving around the island. This time, I wanted to try something different besides golf. When I went to Hawaii with my family this summer, I saw a buggy tour on the Hawaii Channel, which piqued my interest, so I joined a two-hour course.

It was raining at the 8 AM meeting time, so we changed to the afternoon, but the weather in Hawaii is unpredictable. The sun quickly peeked out, so we participated in the morning as originally planned. We were the only Japanese participants, along with a couple from Ohio. We received instructions via video and then set off.

The staff accompanying us spoke only a little Japanese, but they made a great effort to entertain us. Along the way, they treated us to passion fruit that was growing on a tree, and in the end, they understood our driving skills, allowing us to enjoy a motocross-like experience. Everyone felt it was better than expected. The Jurassic world is also worth a visit!

今回は仲間３人と１０年ぶりのハワイ旅行でした。
平均年齢は５５歳のおっさん旅行です。
前回はゴルフ２日と島内ドライブで終始しました。
今回はゴルフ以外で何かと考えました。
私が今夏家族でハワイに行った時ハワイチャンネルでバギーを見たので興味が有り２時間コースに参加しました。
８時集合時は雨が降っていたので午後に変更したのですがハワイの天気は気ままな事。
すぐに薄日が射したので予定通り午前に参加。
日本人は我々だけで一緒にオハイオから来たカップルでした。説明はビデオで受けいざ出発。
同行スタッフはほんの少しの日本語しか出来ませんでしたが一生懸命楽しませてくれました。途中木になっていたパッションフルーツをサービスしてくれ最後は我々のドライビングテクニックを理解してくれモトクロス状態で堪能しました。
皆思ったよりよかったーが感想です。
ジュラシックの世界も一見ですよー。

My family and I had a wonderful horseback riding experience. We have been on many trail rides and this was by far the best. The horses were not your everyday trail horse, they were healthy and well taken care of. The staff was very personable and professional. I highly recommend the Hawaii Polo Norths Shore Beach Horseback Riding!! You definitely get what you pay for!

My wife and I enjoyed our visit and horseback riding experience at the Gunstock Ranch. We did not want to go to a heavily commercialized facility for horseback riding. There were a lot of animals at the ranch and the scenery was beautiful. The ride trail was nice and rustic which we wanted in our experience. The guide provided us great instruction and information about the ranch, the area and plants along the trail.
Our only improvement suggestions are for the restroom facility's cleaning cycle, grading and packing the access road and a more legible road sign.

It was awesome!!! So relaxing and the views were breathe taking. I would recommend this activity for everyone and it is definitely something I would come back to do again. I do wish I ran into a Jurissaic Park sign it wouldve made for a great picture. Also, it would've been cool if the trail leader took at least one picture of each person on their horses for memory purposes. I found it hard to take a picture and ride the horse at the same time. But other than that the experiece was great!!!

I had a horseback riding experience in Hawaii. At first, I was a bit anxious, but I was able to enjoy it. I got to see sea turtles, and I had a fulfilling time having shrimp for lunch.

I have experienced various horseback riding activities so far, but the seaside scenery was very beautiful, and the horses were calm, making it enjoyable. I would like to try other locations next time.

今までいろいろな乗馬を体験してきましたが、海辺の景色がとてもきれいで馬もおとなしくて楽しめました。次回も他の場所での物を体験したいです。

The rental car's navigation system was acting up, and we arrived just in time, but we set off smoothly♪ The horses were calmer than I expected, and we enjoyed a relaxing two hours. My girlfriend, who came with me, was very satisfied. The view of the ocean from a spot where the mountains opened up was amazing!!

This is Hawaii!

She said, "I want to go again♪"

レンタカーのカーナビの調子が悪く、着いたのはぎりぎりだったにも関わらず、すんなり出発♪
思った以上に馬はおとなしく、のんびりした２時間を過ごせました。
一緒に行った彼女も大満足。
途中山が開けた場所から見た海の景色は最高！！

彼女は「また行きたい♪」と言っています。

It was my first time riding in Western style, and I really enjoyed it. Unlike riding in a riding arena in Japan, I was able to gallop in nature, which was refreshing and very satisfying. I believe even advanced riders can have a great time here. I definitely want to visit again.

ウエスタンスタイルの乗馬は初めてでしたが、とても楽しめました。
日本での馬場での乗馬と異なり、自然の中を駈足出来て、爽快、とても満足です。
上級者にも十分楽しめると思います。
また是非訪れたいと思います。

I went horseback riding for the first time in a year and a half. I took a bus for about two hours and was planning to walk to the ranch from there, but while walking after getting off the bus, I met a kind couple who offered to drive me! Since I arrived much earlier than planned, I took a nap in a hammock. I rode across the vast ranch with a handsome cowboy named Ross, chatting and learning how to ride better. It took me some time to get used to it since it had been a while, but I had a lot of fun! We also took a commemorative photo with the North Shore sea in the background. I had such a great time horseback riding, but I got too carried away and forgot to give a tip... sorry, next time! When I go horseback riding in Hawaii again, I will request this place!

1年半ぶりに乗馬で駈足してきました。
バスに2時間くらい乗り、そこから牧場まで歩きの予定でしたが、バスをおりて歩いていたら親切なご夫婦に出会い車で送って頂きました♪
予定より早くつきすぎたので、ハンモックでお昼寝等してました。
ハンサムなカウボーイのロスさんと、世間話したり上手な乗り方を教わりながら、広大な牧場を乗馬しました。
久しぶりだったので慣れるまで時間がかかりましたが、とても楽しく満喫できました!!
ノースショアの海をバックに記念写真も撮ってもらいました♪
せっかく楽しい乗馬をさせてもらったのに、はしゃぎすぎてチップを渡すのを忘れてしまいました…sorryまた次回!!

First, I was healed by the cuteness of the horses in Happy Valley, and then I leisurely explored the town of Haleiwa. I enjoyed a bento box featuring the local specialty of garlic shrimp while being completely satisfied by the sunset over the North Shore at a beach filled with sea turtles. まず、ハッピーバレーで馬の可愛さに癒され、その後の
ハレイワの町ものんびり散策しました。名物のガーリック味の海老料理のお弁当を堪能しながら、海がめ一杯いる浜辺でノースに沈む夕日に大満足の一日でした。ドライバーの方の手際の良さにも感謝です。ありがとうございました！

Never rode horses before and staff handled us perfectly. Probably not as fun for experienced riders. Fun ride on the beach. Horses are active polo ponies and are magnificent animals.
