Couple day trip to North Shore, visiting from the UK

The diamond head hike was a bit harder than we thought with the baby but we took our time and made it up there. What a beautiful view!! It was worth it!!! Do not regret anything about this tour! It was amazing!!! The dole whip ice cream was amazing. The Lenard’s malasada was amazing too. Saw a few turtles and the food trucks was so delicious. We really enjoyed our time on this tour and we totally recommend to do this tour if you’re ever in Oahu Hawaii!!!

North Shore Shark Adventures - Oahu Cage Diving Tour with Waikiki Transportation
Great Morning Out
Reviewed by: Rob, 2023/04/29Great Morning Out, was the only package on the Island (I checked with tonnes of tour guides out there) that offered Transport to the North Shore and Time in the town up there.
100% recommend, Get out of Waikiki and see the island and some Sharks. We also saw Dolphins and Wales but didn't get a refund for that.

Our guide was the best and the whole experience was great! We had a family of 4 with a 9 year old and 12 year old. They loved it! I highly recommend doing this tour!!

Best ATV tour ever! A Must do!
Reviewed by: Kristin Jones, 2023/02/23This ATV tour was none less than amazing! Our tour guide Keoki, was amazing. His level of interest and understanding of the land's history was amazing. He was funny, informative, and very engaged in allowing us to have both a fun and educational experience. I highly recommend this tour. It rained and we were worried it was going to be canceled I am so glad that it was not! It was muddy and fun, and the views were breathtaking.
We took a group of six and it was definitely a VIP experience.
It is a must-do and Family oriented. He brought us a homemade snack and drinks as well. We laughed and laughed at his jokes and fun personality.

Such an amazing experience!

Safe but boring

A gentleman on the bus gave more information because he had taken a similar tour in June. John did not put his headset on only lifted it occasionally to talk. Like I said a nice man but the tour was long, quiet and boring. Thankfully the other passengers were friendly. Thank you

good overview of the island

Have breakfast before starting, because the Diamond Head hike isn't a leisurely stroll in the park... you're going uphill a long way and it'll make you sweat!
Bringing a flashlight would be a good idea, because the majority of the hike is on an unpaved and and sometimes uneven path. Which can be a problem for a pre-dawn hike.
We didn't exactly get to see the sun rise per se. We arrived at the top in plenty of time, there were some clouds on the horizon.
Go inside the bunker, all the way to the back, to access the spiral interior staircase to complete the pathway loop. Seems like a lot of people aren't aware that they need to go into the bunker to do that.
I'd recommend having at least $30 per person in cold hard cash on hand, to pay for lunch etc.
If you don't wear sneakers, you could have a little trouble walking over seaside areas with sharp lava rock...

AMAZING TIME
Reviewed by: Hunter, 2022/11/21My wife and I went on this adventure while in Oahu on our honeymoon. We thought there would be multiple groups on our tour, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out it was only us and our guide. While the views, terrain, history, and overall experience was absolutely incredible, the game changer in this was our guide, Keoki. He was one of the most genuine, friendly, and passionate people that we have ever met. He went as to far as to welcome my wife and I into his Ohana and shared the meaning and importance of the "Aloha Spirit" with us, and truly made us feel welcome on not just the tour, but also on the island.
I cannot recommend this tour, or Keoki as a guide, enough. We had such a wonderful experience and will be back to see them next time we are on Oahu!

Do the EARLY morning tour, it's worth waking up early!
Reviewed by: Yes to Hawaii, 2022/09/29Sharks!! Yes...SHARKS. And yes, you CAN see them from the boat. It's wild to see such majestic creatures in their natural habitat. You go a few miles offshore for this trip so it does get choppy. We did an early morning tour which has calmer ocean conditions than the later tours. And I am so glad we did! We only had a super light breakfast before going out (think a bit of fruit, light bites only).

Be aware that staying in the cage takes a bit more effort than you think, but everyone on our trip managed just fine.

When we got out to the cage we were met by about 8 sharks that stuck around the entire time we were in the cage. When we were about to leave we were able to get back into the cage because a tiger shark had approached so we got a look at her for a bit.

Incredible experience

Our guides were so friendly and provided a lot of information and guidance. We felt very safe during the entire experience. We also had enough time to enjoy the sharks and it never felt rushed. We saw about 10 sharks that swam calmly around the cage. We were lucky to see some dolphins on the trip back too!

He knew all about the sites. The history, the traditions, and the Hawaiian language for everything. He also knew how to keep us on a schedule but with plenty of time to enjoy each stop. I can’t express how much more having him for a guide made a difference but wouldn’t want anyone else and you will be lucky if you get Kalani.

Incredible adventure!

Awesome Guide

He also took so many photos and videos of us along the way and AirDropped them to us afterwards without anyone even asking him too. Also the ATV riding was awesome and everybody needs to make sure they take a turn to drive. Just don’t be like my wife and wear a white tee if you ever expect to wear it white again as the red dirt will do a number on it. 100% we will be doing this again next time we are in Hawaii and will recommend this to everyone.
