This trip exceeded my expectations. We swam with dolphins several times. One pod consisted of 16 dolphins. And we probably saw 50 green sea turtles. Outstanding! The crew went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. I was saying good bye to my pictures as my camera sank into the coral below. Then Paul dove at least 25 feet underwater to retrieve it. Who could have expected this amount of attention? . As a bonus, he made his pictures available for everyone on board. Thank you, thank you!

There was a morning call, and there was a guide who spoke Japanese, so I felt at ease. The staff were all fun people, and the dancing was great. It was a wonderful experience. I got to see dolphins and swim with tropical fish. Since it was my first time snorkeling, I think I could have enjoyed it even more if I had been more accustomed to it. To make it a good memory, taking motion sickness medication is essential. There were a few people who got sick and looked like they were struggling.

It was a very good experience tour.

I thought a regular pickup would come, but a really cool, big, and beautiful bus arrived, and everyone got excited.

There were plenty of monitors inside the bus, and the explanations were easy to understand. The female guide not only spoke Japanese but also created a great atmosphere, making it fun.

The tour was enjoyable for all the members. We got to see and swim with dolphins.

The snorkeling afterward was also very good. Since it can be cold, it's definitely better to borrow a wetsuit at the beginning.

He covered a wide range of topics, from the culture and legends of West Oahu to the flora and fauna of Hawaii, as well as life and money in Hawaii, so we were never bored during the drive. Also, the schedule was great. They dropped us off at the hotel before 3:00 PM, allowing us to enjoy some more activities afterward. I would love to request this again when I visit Hawaii!

My long-awaited first trip to Hawaii! I went in mid-April. The day before was unfortunately rainy, so I was worried about rain on the day of my trip, but fortunately, the weather held up until the end. I was able to see a pod of dolphins, sea turtles swimming along the ocean floor, and schools of small fish, which made for an incredibly moving experience in the crystal-clear waters.

As for advice for those who will be participating, I tend to handle the cold well, but if you are sensitive to cold, be sure to bring a larger towel and a jacket, as it can get chilly, especially with the wind while moving on the boat! Also, since mid-April is the end of the rainy season, I was able to take time off work when things were relatively calm to go to Hawaii. If I have the chance again, I would definitely like to go during the dry season next time.

念願の初ハワイ！
4月中旬に行きました。前日があいにく雨模様だったので、当日雨が降るのが心配でしたが、幸い天気も最後まで崩れる事なく、予定通り？イルカの群れにも海底を泳ぐウミガメにも小さい魚の群れにも会う事ができて透き通るようなきれいな海中もともなって感動の体験でした。
これから参加される方へのアドバイス？ですが、私は寒さには強い方なのですが、寒さに弱い方は、船で移動中は特に風が吹くと寒いので、大きめのタオルとジャケットなど寒さ対策は忘れないように！
あと4月中旬は雨季の終わりという事で、今回も仕事が比較的落ち着いた時にお休みをもらってハワイに行く事ができましたが、もし又機会があれば、今度は是非、乾季に行きたいと思っています。

I was able to see dolphins. The crew on board, including the captain, skillfully found a pod of dolphins and guided us into the water. I thought they would be further out at sea, but I was surprised to find them closer to the shore. While in the water, wearing snorkeling goggles, we were signaled to "look down!" However, rather than looking straight down, we needed to look ahead at a shallow distance to see the dolphins. During that time, some people in our group couldn't see anything and the dolphins swam away without them getting a glimpse.

While it says "you can swim with dolphins," it seems that the dolphins do not come close to you. The experience felt more like watching a pod of dolphins from the water. If you want to swim with them, I think you would have a more enjoyable time at a seaside park. Additionally, repeatedly getting in and out of the water can be a bit tough for elderly people and small children, especially since the boat isn't very large.

After the dolphin experience, we moved to another location for snorkeling. We spent about 40-50 minutes there. The crew worked hard to provide us with slides and kayaks, and we were able to see sea turtles.

Lastly, I won’t mention names, but one Japanese female crew member who was with us from the pickup was quite disappointing. She was in training, and perhaps it was her first day, as she kept saying things like "I don’t know how to say in Japanese!" and "It's super amazing!"—phrases that are not commonly used in Japanese customer service. Although she played a video with safety instructions, her conversations with senior crew members and the cameraman about her dog and husband (some of which were quite vulgar, mixing Japanese and English) were distracting, making it hard to hear the video. I would have preferred if such conversations were held after the tour. It seems they assumed that the Japanese participants wouldn’t understand English, but among those who attended that day, we exchanged glances, thinking, "That person is saying something incredible..." Since most of the participants were Japanese, I wished they had shown a bit more consideration.

”イルカと一緒に泳げる”とありますが、イルカは決して寄って来てくれるわけではないようです。感覚としては、海の中からイルカの群れを見る...という感じでしょうか。一緒に泳ぐならシーサイドパークの方が確実に楽しめるかと思いました。あと何度も海に入る、船に戻るを繰り返し、船も大きいわけではないので、高齢の方や小さい子供は少し辛いかもしれません。

イルカが終わったら、次は場所を移動してシュノーケリングをします。ここで40-50分過ごしました。滑り台やカヤックを出してくださり、ウミガメを見たりとクルーの皆さんはとても頑張ってくださいました。

最後に、お名前は控えますが送迎から一緒の日本人女性クルーが、とても残念な感じでした。
研修中との事でしたが、たぶんその日が初日だったのでしょうか、説明中は、I don’t know how to say in Japanese ! や、超すごいんでぇ！などとあまり日本人の接客では使わない言葉を連発し、「注意事項のビデオを流すので、よく見てください」と流したものの狭い車内の中で、彼女は先輩クルーやカメラマンに、ご自身の犬や旦那様(一部かなり下品な内容を日本語と英語を混ぜて話されていて不快極まりないです)の話、今日これ終わったらうちに遊びに来ない？などと、積極的に話しかけ、その声が邪魔になりビデオの音声なんて聞こえませんでした。それを注意しない先輩男性クルーもどうなのか...。
そういうお話は業務中でなく、終わっかてからしていただきたかったです。ツアーに参加する日本人は全く英語がわからないと思われているのでしょうが、その日に参加した人達の中で、「あの人、すごい事話してるね...」と顔を見合わせていましたよ。日本人参加者がほとんどのツアーなのですから、もう少し配慮をしていただきたかったです。

I definitely want to participate again! It was great to see dolphins and turtles up close. The instructors were all fun, and I enjoyed the travel time as well. This became my favorite memory from my 7-day trip to Hawaii, and I want to recommend it to my friends and participate again.

After snorkeling, I had a great time playing on the slide and dancing with the staff. Everything was wonderful. The day I went was sunny, but it got a bit chilly when I was in the shade after coming out of the water. Since it was an early morning tour, I still had time to play in the ocean afterward. The photo and video sales were about 10,000 yen for one family. They also sold trainer T-shirts on the bus. Thank you to the staff for a fun half-day!

I was worried about oversleeping with an early departure, but they even gave me a morning call. During the boat ride to where the dolphins were, our Japanese guide, Miu, and the crew were all cheerful and made it enjoyable. The dolphins swam close by, and we also got to see turtles up close!

The sea water was a bit cold, but the weather was nice, so I was able to enjoy snorkeling, the slide, and paddleboarding comfortably. The hamburger was delicious too!

I made the best memories on the last day of my stay in Hawaii. I'm really glad I participated!!!

I searched for Hawaii OP and decided on VELTRA after reading various reviews. From the reservation stage, I felt well taken care of, and I was glad I chose VELTRA.

The morning meeting was quite early, but they provided a wake-up call, and the staff member Miyu was very pleasant and guided us throughout the day.

As for the tour itself, all the staff provided a wonderful Hawaiian hospitality experience, which was fantastic. Of course, we were thrilled to see dolphins and honu ❤️ My husband jumped into the sea and within five minutes, he cramped up in both legs and had to signal for help, and the staff came to his rescue. They were lifesavers. The weather was perfect, but the seawater was a bit cold, and since the bus had air conditioning on the way to and from the site, I think a jacket is necessary. For lunch, snacks like pineapple and hamburgers were provided, but if you're a big eater, I recommend bringing some light snacks besides bananas. I'm really glad I participated.

This was an absolutely recommended tour that you should definitely join.
I participated with my husband, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time, while I was on my second trip. I was looking for places that are not the usual tourist spots in Hawaii, and I discovered this tour!
After reading the reviews, I thought, "This is it!" and signed up immediately, which turned out to be a great decision; it was truly a wonderful tour.
The female guide and instructor was friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable, explaining Hawaii's legends in an easy-to-understand and thorough manner, allowing us to feel as if we were seeing the same scenery as the people from long ago. It was truly breathtaking!
At the beach where we went snorkeling, we were the only Japanese people there, and there were only a few tourists, so it felt very private. We enjoyed a lunch picnic on the beach with lunch bought from a local supermarket, soaking in the relaxed local vibe.
The care provided by the guide during snorkeling was excellent, making it easy to enjoy even for beginners.
Swimming while searching for fish among the rocks was a lot of fun.
We were able to see many cute fish.
The driving was very skillful, and it was a pleasant ride, comfortably moving while enjoying the ever-changing scenery from Waikiki.

シュノーケリングはガイドさんのケアが素晴らしく、初めてでも安心して楽しめます。

運転がとてもお上手でドライブも気持ちよく、ワイキキから刻一刻と変わる景色を見ながらの
快適な移動でした。

Unfortunately we didn’t see any whales on the cruise (the same cruise the day before saw 8 we heard from another passenger), but they gave us a voucher to return because they guarantee you will see whales. We found the crew to be fun and friendly. We appreciated the drinks and snacks. My kids and I have been boating a lot so the rough seas and rainy weather didn’t bother us, but several passengers were sick. A day on the ocean with beautiful island views, regardless of rain, is still better than a day at work or school!

Although it was our first experience snorkeling, thanks to Akima's patient support, we were able to enjoy snorkeling. (We saw the Humuhumunukunukuapua'a!) Even those who are not confident in their physical strength can enjoy snorkeling by holding onto the float that the guide has. (My wife did the same.)

We also visited various spots besides snorkeling. Among them, my personal highlights were the cave, a leisurely lunch on the beach, and Makua Valley. The sight of the mountains in Makaha Valley was particularly impressive and became an iconic image of Hawaii for me.

I apologize for the lengthy message, but when I visit Hawaii again (even on a different tour), I would definitely like to request this tour again. It was that enjoyable!

結果、ワイキキ市街では味わうことの出来ない、海も陸も含めたオアフ島の魅力を楽しむ事ができてとても楽しかったです。

とても気さくな優しい方だったので、まるでハワイ在住の友達に観光案内をしてもらっているかの樣な、とても贅沢な時間を過ごす事ができました。

その中でも個人的なハイライトは洞窟、のんびりとしたビーチでのお昼ご飯、そしてマクア渓谷です。特にマカハ渓谷の山の姿はとても印象的で私にとってのハワイの原風景となりました。

長々と書いてしまいましたが、
再びハワイを訪れる際には(別のツアーの形でも)是非お願いしたいと思います。
それほど楽しかったツアーでした。

Take the tour with this company! We were hoping to see some whales and have a great cruise on the ocean. Our cruise turned out beyond expectations. Not just because we saw lots of whales but Captain Amy and her happy crew had the best attitude. They were knowledgeable, very considerate, and made sure we had fun. Despite the downpour of rain at the very end, even this turned out to be a fun adventure!

Overall, it was cloudy, but it was great that it was sunny during the dolphin watching by boat and at the water play area.

The weather had not been good for about a week, and there was a possibility that we might not see any dolphins, but we were able to see a pod of about 20 dolphins and a sea turtle, which was amazing.
*Some people were feeling nauseous, so I think it would be a good idea to take motion sickness medication with you or bring some along.

I participated in an early morning tour. On the bus ride there, the instructions were explained very clearly and cheerfully, and they taught us pressure points for motion sickness, which made the journey enjoyable. I tend to get motion sickness easily, so even with the pressure points and medication, I still felt sick. However, I was lucky that day to see both dolphins and sea turtles! Although we were told not to chase the dolphins, they actually approached us, and we had to move aside (laughs). Even when the dolphins were out of sight, I could hear their calls when I put my ears to the water, which felt quite mysterious. The sea turtles were far away, but I was still moved to see them. On the morning of the day I had a reservation, I received a message from the staff at VELTRA saying, "The waves are too high today, and the tour cannot proceed..." They explained the refund and rescheduling process, and I was able to reschedule for the next day. Their response was very professional, and I had no worries at all. I was a bit anxious the next day, but since I didn’t receive a call, I thought everything was fine and headed to the pickup location. However, it turned out to be the day of an annual parade, and the roads were heavily congested. After waiting for the bus for an hour... (I wondered if this could have been anticipated since it happens every year, but all the other tours and buses heading to the airport were also delayed, so I thought it might just be something you have to accept in Hawaii with a big heart, haha). It seemed that the street where we were supposed to be picked up was particularly congested, so the bus stopped on a larger road, and two staff members (one of whom was Japanese) ran to greet us. A large, beautiful bus came to pick us up. Once on the bus, they began with an apology for the delay, introduced the staff, and explained the schedule and important notes in English followed by Japanese. There was also information about purchasing a USB for photos and videos taken on the trip, as well as renting wetsuits. Those who purchased the photo/video package on the way to the destination received a wristband as a gift (one for each participant) and a $5 discount. It seems that if you stay close to the photographer, you might get more photos taken. Upon arriving at the harbor, we used the restroom and borrowed fins and goggles. (We also tried on the wetsuits we rented on the bus here.) Once we found the right size, we boarded the boat. After boarding, we set off to look for dolphins, and during that time, there was another explanation, and we sang a Hawaiian song to show respect for the ocean and its creatures while offering flowers. The cheerful Hawaiian staff jumped into the sea as soon as we reached the dolphin spot and swam to the location of the dolphins. Unfortunately, we didn’t encounter any turtles or whales, but we did meet dolphins, which was an emotional experience that allowed us to feel connected to nature. After that, we moved to another location where we had free time to enjoy snorkeling and kayaking. 予約をしていた日の朝、ＶＥＬＴＲＡさんのスタッフの方から「本日は波が高く催行不可能となりました…」と連絡があり、返金・振り替えなどの説明があり、翌日へ振り替えてもらいました。もちろんきちんとした対応で、何の心配もありませんでした。次の日も心配でしたが、電話が来なかったので大丈夫なんだなと思いピックアップ場所へ。しかしその日は年に一度のパレードの日だったらしく道路は大渋滞。バスを待つこと1時間…。（毎年の事なので事前に予測できないのかな？とは思いましたが、他のツアーも、空港へ向かう予約のバスもどれもこれも全てが遅れていたのでハワイでは仕方がないのかな？と思う大きな心が必要です（笑））我が家のピックアップ場所の通りが特に渋滞していたようなので大きい道路にバスを停めスタッフの方が2人（1人は日本人）で走って迎えに来てくれました。大きい素敵なバスがお迎えに来てくれていました。バスに乗るとまず、遅れたお詫びから始まりスタッフの紹介、今日のスケジュールや注意事項などを英語に続き日本語で説明してくれます。バスの中で写真や動画を収めたＵＳＢの購入、ウエットスーツのレンタルなどについても説明があります。行きのバスで写真・動画のセットを購入した人はリストバンドのプレゼント（参加人数分）、5㌦の割引がありました。カメラマンの方の近くにいると多めに撮ってもらえるような気がします。ハーバーに着くと、トイレを済ませフィン・ゴーグルを借ります。（バスの中でレンタルしたウエットスーツもここで試着してみます）サイズを合わせて、ＯＫであれば船に乗り込みます。乗船後、イルカを探しに行きますがその間、再度説明があり、海や生き物に敬意を表すためのハワイの歌を歌って花を捧げます。陽気なハワイアンのスタッフ、イルカのポイントに着いたらすぐに海へ飛び込みイルカの場所まで泳いでいきます。残念ながらかめ、くじらには会えませんでしたが、イルカに出会え自然を感じられ感動でした。そのあとは別の場所へ移動し、シュノーケリングやカヤックなどで遊ぶ自由時間があります。ハーバーまで帰港する際にタロイモのチーズバーガー、パイナップル1口サイズを1つ小袋のチップスを一人一袋食べながら帰っていきます。スタッフがフラダンスも踊ってくれ、参加者皆で踊ったりもします。終始楽しい時間で家族みんな大満足です。我が家はUSBを購入したので、その日の夕方ワイキキのDFS近くにあるオフィスへ取りに行きオフィスにいた日本人の男性もとても気さくで感じのいいかたでした。エコバックはこのオフィスでもらえます。次回ハワイへ行った際には是非また参加したいです。お子さんがいらっしゃる場合は、11時出航プランにした方が子供の負担にならないと思います。普段酔わなくても酔い止めは予防として飲むべきだと思います。

This was my 20th trip to Hawaii, but I had hardly experienced West Oahu. The farthest I had visited in Hawaii before was Ko Olina, so I was really looking forward to this West Oahu tour.

My husband and I participated, and since we were the only two participants that day, it felt like a private tour. Our guide, Akima, was a charming and wonderful Japanese person who handled four roles: driver, guide, instructor, and photographer, all with a smile.

The tour was packed with activities, including listening to myths related to the sightseeing spots and enjoying beautiful scenery. However, the most memorable part was snorkeling and encountering three sea turtles and a manta ray. According to Akima, seeing a manta ray happens about once a year, so we were very lucky.

We also opted for the photo shoot, and since Akima is an underwater photographer, he took many wonderful pictures of us swimming with the sea turtles, which made us very satisfied.

I heard that fewer people book this West Oahu tour in winter compared to summer, so I think winter is recommended for those who want to enjoy West Oahu in a smaller group and at a leisurely pace.

私たちはオプションの写真撮影も申し込んでいたのですが、Akimaさんは水中カメラマンもやっている人なので、ウミガメと一緒に泳いでいるところ等、素敵な写真を沢山とっていただき、大変満足でした。
冬場はこの西Oahuのツアーを申し込む人は夏場に比べて少ないとのことでしたので、少人数でゆったりと西Oahuを楽しみたい人には冬場がお勧めだと思います。

I had high expectations for the main event of my trip to Hawaii, but I didn't see any dolphins at all. I understand that it's a wild animal, so it's not surprising. 写真を沢山撮ってもらいましたが、正直USBを買わない人は何も見られないので、思い出として欲しい方はバスの中で購入を希望しておいた方がいいと思います。
お昼もランチというか軽食という表現がベストかと思います。
後ほど、今日の写真です、とメールが届きましたが写真は添付されておらず…どこに問い合わせていいのかも分からず…
ちょっと期待し過ぎたかなと思いました。
イルカが見れなかったので次回割引券頂きましたが、次回も参加したいかと聞かれたら正直微妙なところです。

This was just a terrific day from start to finish. We were picked up on time, and everything was exactly as advertised. We saw turtles, swam with the dolphins, and saw approximately 8 whales too! It was the first time snorkeling for both my husband and myself and the staff was terrific. Emmanuel picked us up and took care of us for the whole day. Our captain was terrific, making sure that we saw all those whales and had plenty of time for snorkeling with the dolphins and then over a wonderful coral reef. Photographer Justin was also terrific - making sure to get great pictures of everyone who wanted them. HIghly recommend this tour and company! Friendly AND professional!
