I am a repeat customer--- I had a blast a few years back with this Segway tour so I thought my wife and two teens would enjoy it as well. Man, did they ever love it. First class operation and they do spend some time going over safety procedures. After that , off we went and my family were pros in no time. We had a great guide named Connie and this will definitely be on our list of things to do when we return to Honolulu. A definite must if you are thinking about it. Aa+++

In Honolulu, it's inconvenient to get around without using the trolley bus. Since we are traveling independently without going through a major travel agency, we purchased this ticket because we couldn't use the travel agency's exclusive trolley bus. However, it turns out that the only lines where you need to show the ticket are the Red Line and Green Line. The Pink Line, which is heavily used, is free if you have a JCB card, so it seems that most people can board without any checks. I slightly regret that we might not have needed to buy the ticket after all.

It good. However, we didn't really hear the history of the diamond head. Unless we just have to read the posters. The guy at the gate was screaming at everyone bec they have to pay for the entrance fee. If I didn't tell him i got the package deal from this webstie he would have double charged me. They need to come-up with another system collecting entrance fees.

I HIGHLY recommend taking this tour!

Our guide was quite knowledgeable, hilarious, and all-around fun! The segways are incredibly easy to get the hang of, and we were zoomin' on the beach in no time!

I also recommend wearing shoes with arch supports, as you're in "balance mode" most of the time and your feet will definitely feel it after a few minutes.

Simply put: TAKE THIS TOUR! INCREDIBLE! :-)

When you think of classic transportation in Hawaii, the trolley comes to mind! The local staff at the ticket exchange, including the older gentleman, are sure to make you laugh, and all the trolley drivers are fun people! You'd be missing out if you don't ride it. They even take photos while stopped! It’s not just a means of getting around; you can explore the Waikiki area while listening to the enjoyable stories from the drivers. I will definitely participate again next time!

Finally hiked Makapu'u!!

After several trips to Oahu and never having the opportunity to hike Makapu'u since I don't rent a car and the nearest bus stop is over a mile from the trailhead, I was happy to see Kaimana Tours offering transportation from Waikiki hotels to the trailhead.

As the only person taking the tour that day, I was put on a shuttle with a group headed to Hanauma Bay. Pickup from my hotel was prompt, the driver was both professional and entertaining, and pickup from the trailhead was efficient (all I had to do was call the office when I finished the hike, and the driver was there within 10-15 mins)!

As for the hike itself, it is actually a walk on a paved, slightly inclined one mile-ish road. The sights were beautiful all the way to the top, and people of all activity levels should be able to handle this without any issues.

All-in-all, Kaimana Tours delivered an A+++ experience, and I hope to partake in their other tour offerings the next time I'm in Oahu!

An Excellent Experience

My partner and I found the Segways to be incredibly easy to learn to ride.
Our guide Mike was very knowledgeable and his running commentary throughout the tour was very informative. The parts of Honolulu covered by the tour range from historical, social, tv show sets and sports so there is something for everyone.
We would highly recommend the tour to everyone except young children, unless there is a kids trailer for Segways, as the Segways are so easy to ride.

What an awesome experience! My sister and I called in the the morning and were able to book the Magic Island Glide Ride for the same day. When we showed up we found out that we had our very own tour. The Segway's were Amazing! After a quick demo and instructions... We were ready to ROLL! Our guide, Ryan was very friendly and informative. My only comment would be that the company needs better signage or directions, The guide just meets you in an alleyway besides the Hawaiian Hilton. Other then that I would highly recommend this tour to everyone! So book your tour and get ready to roll...

This time, we used the trolley bus for my parents during our family trip. It was their second time in Hawaii, and they were very happy to finally ride the bus and enjoy it! Both of them got the senior discount, which was a good deal, but since they didn't ride it much over the four days, I thought it might have been better for me to pay the fare each time instead.

Attended this hike as a family with small children (ages 4&7) and this was a perfect morning outing! The hike was paved and only a moderate incline, and the views along the way up and from the top are remarkable!

Unfortunately the tides were not perfect for the blowhole to really be going, but we did get to see some spray and the kids enjoyed it as well.

Overall, a very professionally run operation with great pickup and dropoff services. The hike was a nice way to get out and see other sights!

The JTB trolley bus is good, but the four-day unlimited pass for this trolley bus was very convenient as you can choose the days you want to use it, even during a seven-day stay. The staff at the ticket booth were kind and considerate, even worrying about our final departure, which made it very reassuring for families. The trolley bus drivers were friendly and entertaining, and they prioritized safety, especially for children.

Well worth the experience for the activity and the views. It is a moderate hike, so if you are overwieght and/or out of shape, it takes a lot of effort. Take water, go earlier rather than later, and don't go on an empty stomach. Very enjoyable.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the Sunset tour. The instructor was really nice and instructed very well on how to ride the Segway for the first time. Even though our tour did not hit the popular sites but it was nice to ride around the beach and enjoy the sunset. We will definately recommend it to anyone that wants to do something different and interesting.

This was my first time in Hawaii, so I planned to get around using the trolley. The Pink Line comes about every 10 minutes, which was very convenient, but the Red and Green Lines only come every 35 minutes and don't always arrive on time, so I felt a bit of inconvenience. Next time, I plan to ride the Pink Line for free with my JCB card and buy a pass for The BUS to get around.

I always wanted to try out a segway, and while I was on vacation the opportunity came up for me to do just that. Riding on a segway is really simple and easy to do. Going on a segway tour is definitely a strange experience, but it is a good strange. The whole tour was exciting and entertaining.

I think it was especially valuable for us as a senior couple. We went through all the routes and were able to get on and off multiple times, which I believe was a great deal. I definitely think seniors should take advantage of this.

Did you know that there is a "Senior Discount" for the trolley? I have used the trolley many times, but this is the first time I learned about the discount. For our family trip, we only used it for my mother (72 years old), but of course, the savings went towards something "delicious." They didn't ask for any proof when exchanging tickets (just a visual check by the attendant).

I highly recommend the Blue Line! It feels amazing!
