We were so excited to learn to ride a segway and were fortunate to have the guide to ourselves. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we missed nothing on the tour. I had hoped to reach the summit of Diamond head but this was not to be. We had so much fun and even though I had a couple of near falls, my husband seemed to be a natural. The cost was a bit high but for an exclusive tour, it was a bargain. I must also say that the equipment was in great shape and was very easy to operate.

We were picked up on time by a friendly driver who explained everything we needed to know regarding our hike. He was right on with his explanation. We walked along with several others up the trails which we easy then got to some of the curves and switchbacks where the footing was a little difficult. Be sure to wear good tennis shoes or hiking boots not sandals or heels for this hike. We came to a series of steps that were steep then into a tunnel that was a few minutes long. Outside the tunnel there were 2 routes to the top. One set of steps much steeper than the other but can stop and rest along the way if needed. Once on the top the views were spectacular and well worth the climb. I'm 65 years old and have 3 stents in my hear and made this "moderate " hike with only a few stops. There are some rough areas in this hike so people with walkers, wheel chairs and buggies will not make it. We will definitely do this event next time we're in Hawaii. We did the hike up to the top, looked around for 15-20 minutes and hiked back down in 1 - 1/2 hours.

It was great that I could ride the Purple Line and go all the way to Pearl Harbor. I found out that the one-day unlimited pass actually becomes valid for two days when I received it. Unfortunately, I had already planned to be almost nowhere near Waikiki on the second day, so I wish I had known that before my trip.

What an absolute blast! This was the family's favorite excursion out of the many we had over the course of 10 days. Very friendly and very helpful in other areas of the island. Our ages ranged from 16 to 66 and they ALL loved it! Easy to learn and maneuver. Great orientation to learn how it works on each person. Thank you for the wonderful ride and beautiful sunset!!!!

First time to do a segway tour. Staff was great. They take the time to make sure you know how to ride the segway before heading out on the tour. Really liked that group sizes are small to allow for personal interaction with guide and have more of conversation rather than being talked at. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to take photos for us at the scenic spots. Overall great experience.

It was very convenient! There were four lines available for unlimited rides, but since I didn't use them that much, it felt a bit expensive. However, I'm glad there was a trolley.

Amazing & would highly recommend this hike! We were originally scheduled to do the Makapuu Lighthouse Trail as well, but unfortunately they closed the trail a few days before we arrived. We were notified by the tour company in plenty of time & just went on the hike to Diamond Head. We were refunded the difference & everything else went off without a hitch. We were a little confused about the pick up location, but the driver took the time to call us & guide us to the right area. Job well done guys! Mahalo!

wow! Cannot even describe the experience we had.... I really wanted my mother to enjoy this the most and it was great! Although she could not make the hike (because of knee surgery) she had a blast and patiently waited for me to tour and get the pictures for her to cherish.... The hike is a challenge for people with balance issuees, walking, and stairs!!!!! When you climb, you climb but overall we had a perfect and safe trip to this landmark that will be cherished!!!!

We enjoyed this hike very much. The shuttle pick up from our hotel was great, as we did not have a rental car. The driver was kind and helpful, even though we did have trouble understanding him at times. He was on time for pick up at our hotel and on time for pick up after the hike. We would recommend this tour!

It was a very worthwhile pass that allowed us to go all the way to Diamond Head. The boarding area in the DFS basement was a bit hard to find, but we were able to get smooth assistance from the staff there.

3 Hour Segway Tour

We had 6 people in our group, adults in 40's, 18 yr old, and kids ages 12 and 14. This activity was fun for all and very much enjoyed. It was a great way to start off our trip in Waikiki and get a tour of the area. Our guides provide a lot of info about the area. Young kids (really all) need to have good balance and a sense of adventure. Mine were fine, however I can see this being difficult for young teens who are not often on bikes, skateboards, scooters, snowboards, etc. If you are comfortable on those, riding the segway is easy to pick up and a lot of fun. If you are not, it would be more difficult, so maneuvering a crowded sidewalk and crossing streets could be problematic.

It was our first time trying the segway. The instructors were patient. The tour guides were very friendly. We enjoyed our tour.

The only setback was the gratuity. As it was black and white on the confirmation that the payment already included tour, instruction, guide, tax and gratuity. We did not mind giving our guides some extra tips, however, demanding additional 15% on what we paid was too much.
