I wanted to experience horseback riding in Hawaii, and after comparing it with other riding clubs, I chose this one because it was close to the center of the North Shore. I took an Uber, but I think I made a mistake with the pin placement and initially arrived at the neighboring building, which made me anxious. A kind driver and the people next door helped me get to the correct building!

Before riding, you receive a briefing from the staff. Everything is in English, but there is a Japanese explanation in the waiting room, so it's not a problem if you can't understand English. The horses are smart, cute, and accustomed to people.

During the ride, a staff member led the way, and we had a mix of sturdy horses, unique horses, and those with hearty appetites. The horse in the middle seemed to be the cute surprise element! We enjoyed the scenery as we alternated between walking along the North Shore coastline and through the forest. It was my first time walking by the sea on horseback, and I was thrilled.

Since it was a leisurely stroll, those who want to gallop might find it a bit lacking. However, riding such smart and adorable horses while occasionally feeling the North Shore breeze is fantastic! On the way back along the coast, the staff member took photos for us with our smartphones. All the staff were very kind.

A note of caution: the time we visited was unusually humid for Hawaii, so it felt extremely hot. It's better to hydrate before and after riding, so bringing drinks or buying them at a supermarket in the North Shore is advisable. There are no supermarkets around the ranch. (They were selling carbonated drinks in the waiting room, but water was sold out.)

I called an Uber for the return trip, but it's a spot where Wi-Fi is hard to connect. You need to walk a little to a place with signal. Don't panic; it will work out! Make sure to keep your Wi-Fi and smartphone charged! Prepare in advance!

There are restrooms available. I was worried because I read reviews saying there were none, but there are restrooms. However, they are portable toilets like those found at construction sites or outdoor festivals. Since there are no shops around, I thought it was worth mentioning for those who might be concerned about restroom access.

You cannot ride with large luggage (you can leave your belongings in the waiting room, which has surveillance cameras, so it's safe), so it's a good idea to have one person carry a smartphone (to use when taking photos with the staff by the seaside). In that case, a body bag or waist pouch that doesn't hinder riding would be convenient!

ハワイで乗馬体験がしたくて、他の乗馬クラブとも比較した結果、車でノースショアの中心部から近かったこちらにしました。
ウーバーで行きましたがピンの立て方を間違えたのか最初はお隣の建物に着き、焦りました。親切なドライバーさんとお隣さんが、こちらの建物まで無事にアテンドしてくれました！
乗馬前はスタッフからレクチャーを受けられます。全て英語ですが、待合室で日本語の解説があるので英語が聞き取れなくても問題ありません。
馬たちはお利口さんで可愛くて、人に慣れています。
道中は、スタッフのお姉さんが先頭になり、よりしっかりした馬、個性的な馬、食欲旺盛な馬、しっかりした馬の順番でした。真ん中に配置された馬は可愛いハプニング要員だったみたいです^_^
ノースショアの海岸沿いと森の中を交互に散歩する感じで景色を楽しめました。海沿いを馬と歩くなんて人生初なので感激しました。
終始、お散歩なので駆け足をしたい方は物足りないかもしれません。

でも賢くてかわいい馬に乗せてもらって、ノースショアの風を時折感じられるのは最高です！
帰り道の海岸沿いで、お姉さんにスマホで写真も撮ってもらえます。スタッフのお姉さん達は皆さん親切な人でした。

注意点として
私達の行った時期が、ハワイにしては多湿だったので体感温度はめちゃくちゃ暑かったです。乗る前後に水分補給した方がよいので、飲み物は持参もしくは、ノースショアのスーパーで買ってきた方がベターです。牧場なので周囲にスーパーはありません。（こちらの待合室で炭酸系のジュースは販売してましたが、お水は売り切れていました）

帰りもウーバーを呼びましたが、Wi-Fiが入りにくい場所です。電波の届くところまでほんのちょっとだけ歩きます。何とかなるので慌てずに！
Wi-Fi、スマホの充電は切らさないように！事前に準備を！

トイレはあります。口コミでトイレがないとあり不安でしたが、ありました。ただし、工事現場や野外フェスティバルにあるような仮設トイレです。
周囲にお店がないのでトイレの心配する人がいるかもしれないと思ったので情報として入れておきます。

大きな荷物で乗馬することはできない（荷物は待合室に置いておけます、監視カメラが付いてるので大丈夫）ので、スマホ（海辺でスタッフさんに撮影してもらう時に使う）を持ち歩く人を一名は作るといいと思います。その際はボディバッグやウエストポーチ等、乗馬の妨げにならないショルダーバッグがあると便利ですよ！

In the morning, while I was writing documents on the bus, I got car sick and felt unwell during the skydiving. After jumping, I lay down for a bit, and they were very concerned about me. However, the experience in the sky was, of course, amazing. It was cold, and I wanted to wear a jacket, but I was opposed to it. Some people were wearing jackets, so I wasn't quite sure what the standard was. I can't help but think it might have been okay to wear one...

I was a bit anxious about leaving my belongings just lying around, but everything was fine. However, I thought it might not be a good idea to bring too many valuables or cash, so I went with the bare minimum, which made my tip a bit smaller than I intended, and I apologize for that. The tipping system involved putting money in a box for the person who jumped with us.

I was able to return to the hotel earlier than planned, so I had plenty of time to enjoy the afternoon as well.

Waking up early was a bit tough, but once I arrived, I was able to see a beautiful sunrise! The instructor was incredibly cheerful, and the moment I took to the sky was truly beyond words—it was the best experience! Seeing the stunning views of Hawaii from above has become a memory I will never forget. ^_^

We couldn't have found a better way to explore the North Shore! My girlfriend and I went out on an afternoon cruise and had a blast! We saw lots of dolphins and even got to stop by a shark dive spot where we could see sharks from the boat! I have never seen as many different large sea animals in one boat ride, it was incredible! We stopped for a while and snorkeled in Waimea Bay which was amazing. We were able to take a bunch of cool underwater pictures and we even saw a turtle! The captain and crew are the friendliest in the Islands and are very passionate about sharing the culture and history of Hawaii. I really enjoyed this because for me, getting to learn about the places I visit really makes the experience so much more memorable. We can't wait to come back during whale watching season!

This is one of the most epic things I have ever done! Steve (the owner) really does an amazing job getting you ready to make the jump and making the whole experience something you will never forget! The helicopter flight was awesome and the diving was perfect. I couldn't possibly recommend anyone other than Trident Adventures for an incredible, one of a kind dive experience! Also, The dive gear they provide is top end, brand new SCUBAPRO equipement. No sketchy, under-maintained gear with these guys. It doesnt matter how deep or shallow you go, that new, quality gear makes a huge difference in comfort and safety.

Haleiwa Shark Tours - Best Shark Cage Diving in Hawaii with Local Expert Guides

This was a surprise for my girlfriends birthday and she loved it! We saw so many of sharks! We had done one of the other shark dive without a cage on a smaller boat and did not have the greatest experience.(she got seasick, swimming in strong current, only saw one shark, un-attentive crew...) This experience was the complete opposite. The shark cage makes it so easy to relax in the water and just watch the sharks. Not fighting against the current for this type of experience really makes a huge difference. And you are never worried about what is behind you! The boat itself made a big difference as well. It is an extremely stable power catamaran and is one of the smoothest riding boats i have been on. The captain and crew are one of the friendliest I have encountered. They make sure you are taken care of and happy to share their knowledge of literally everything you can see out on the water and on the island.

When we were riding horses, the four of us were quite excited. However, by the time we finished riding and returned, everyone seemed tired. My father and husband, who just turned 70, got off the horse saying their knees hurt and walked in a rather strange way. My 9-year-old and 10-year-old daughters and my nephew simply said they were sleepy.

As I listened to them, it seemed they felt sleepy because they were walking at the same pace through similar scenery. Additionally, the uncles were in the same position and at the same pace, which seemed to have taken a toll on their legs and back. They mentioned that the horseback riding experience on the Big Island of Hawaii was better. What a shame...

Since my youngest daughter, who is 3 years old, also wanted to experience horseback riding like her older sister, I assumed it would be a pony riding experience and made the reservation. I had always wanted to try skydiving at least once before I die, but as someone who is extremely afraid of thrill rides, I was tense until just a few minutes before the jump.

After arriving at Pacific Skydiving, I signed a scary waiver and learned the positions for jumping and landing from the instructor. After waiting a few minutes...

When my name was called, my whole family smoothly boarded the Cessna. The tension increased as we ascended! I thought, "There's no turning back now..." and my throat became dry (laughs). Before I knew it, we reached an altitude of 14,000 feet (4,260 meters), and the door of the Cessna opened.

I watched my family being sucked into the sky right in front of me... it was scary. But before I knew it, it was my turn, and I found myself diving into the open sky!!

During the free fall, I surprisingly had enough composure to pose for the cameraman! After the parachute opened, it was a leisurely stroll in the air. I was able to see the breathtaking views of Hawaii in 360 degrees. I even spotted a round rainbow in the clouds!

Without a doubt, it was the best experience of my life!!

The feeling of flying through the sky with views I had never seen before was the ultimate thrill, and honestly, I can't put it into words!

After the parachute opened, many people got motion sickness from the turbulence, so motion sickness medication is a must. (laughs)

I’m really glad that my whole family could have such a wonderful experience together!

目の前で家族が空に吸い込まれていく…怖い。と思ったのもつかの間、あっという間に自分の番になり、気付いたら大空にダイブしていました！！

I have experienced beginner horseback riding in various countries, and I chose this one because of the seaside course. On the way there and back, a Japanese-speaking driver guided us along the route. The explanations on-site were in English, but it wasn't too difficult, and the people were friendly, making for an enjoyable time. There were also others who brought their own horses and some who were swimming in the sea. Since it was by the seaside, there were no risky areas like mountain paths where you might fall off, and with fewer weeds along the road, we could ride smoothly while enjoying the sea breeze.

各国で初心者乗馬を体験していますが、海辺のコースということで、こちらを選びました。行き帰りは、日本語ドライバーさんが、通り道の案内込みで移動させてくれます。現地では、英語での説明ですが、それほど苦労なく、フランクな方々で、楽しく過ごせました。ここでは、他にマイホースを連れてきていたり、海水浴をしている方々もいました。海辺ということで、山道のような落馬しそうな個所もなく、道端の草も少ないため道草も少なく、海風に吹かれながら、颯爽？と乗馬ができました。

From the time you walk up to the building, these people at Pacific Skydiving are the most helpful and fun people. I was Amazed at how they were able to make me feel so comfortable about this thrill seekers dream jump! Misha was my jump partner and he explained everything to me and taught me everything he could not only about sky diving, but about the island of Oahu as well. He quickly found that we had very similar interest's, so he made sure to let me know where to visit so I could enjoy my trip. My cameraman stayed out of my field of view to maximize my experience which was awesome! I want to thank everyone at Pacific skydiving for the best Birthday gift I could imagine.....The gift of freedom!!!!

When we were heading up in the helicopter, I started to feel my legs tremble, wondering if we were still going higher, but there was no time to hesitate as the diver jumped in with me! I had planned to strike various poses, but the resistance while falling made it hard to move, and I ended up flailing like a crab... haha.
The view was breathtaking!!!! The beautiful sea, mountains, windmills, and colorful buildings were all so stunning.
Once we were in the air, it was beautiful! Fun! The best!

As the reviews said, there were no Japanese people at all, and it was a space where I could fully enjoy being overseas. There were people from various countries, but it felt very homey, and the guide was very kind.
The zipline experience lasted a solid three hours. I was extremely satisfied. Along the way, they quizzed us about Hawaiian history, we cracked and ate walnuts, and we ate bananas—there was never a dull moment!

Magnum Doors-Off Helicopter Tour - Oahu Island Scenic Flight from Honolulu

I loved this experience. Location was easier to find. Check in was simple and easy. I liked the safety video. The real star was the helicopter ride. I highly recommend seeing Oahu from a helicopter and with the doors off!! I was able to take so many amazing pictures. I have been to Oahu many times and seen some of the sights from ground level, but it is nothing like seeing it from the air! Breathtaking!! The ground crew was fabulous, so helpful! I sat in the back on the right side. That was the only thing that was a bummer. I didn't get to a good view of Waikiki and some of the other sights on the left. The pilot, Steve, did do some circles to allow the right side riders to see, but many times, it was enough time to see and take photos. It is windy in the back, so I had to purse my lips throughout most of the flight to keep my lips and cheeks from flapping everywhere! I did wear a sweatshirt because there was a slight chill from the higher altitude. Overall, I give this experience a 10 out of 10!! If I every get back to Hawaii, I will take this helicopter ride again!!

This is our 2nd time on the surf bus. Cousin Kevin was great! He catered to all families. Gave us great info on what to look at and eat. I like this tour because I can relax and enjoy rather than driving and having to find parking, buy tickets, and do all the work that I usually have to do!

Good zip line experience with a mix of short and long zip line runs. Was able to go up side down on the majority of the zip lines, although they prefer to save "tricks" for the last 2 zip lines as a surprise.

All lines are dual zip - so you go two at a time. Takes about 2 1/2 hours with 11 people in the group. Guides were fun, helpful, and took some good pictures (separate charge to buy their pictures). They encourage you to take your own pictures too.

I was worried about having booked with an English guide and not understanding the safety regulations at all, but I was relieved to find that there were guides who had spent time in Japan and I could select Japanese text on the iPad! All the guides were cheerful, and I had a great time on the zip line! I was also happy to ride a buggy to the top of the mountain! The bumpy road felt like an attraction, and I enjoyed the journey to the zip line as well! I'm glad I went!

I had some experience with horseback riding in Japan (it usually lasts about 10 minutes depending on the price), but here I was able to ride for a longer time (about 40 minutes) and basically guided the horse myself, which was fun (^O^). The horse was really smart, so even my second grader was fine! Additionally, we were able to go sightseeing in the town of Haleiwa along the way (this part was mixed with horseback riding and included a meal, so it was quite rushed at about 1 hour (^o^;), but there was also a separate course just for sightseeing). We also had a great encounter with sea turtles, which you can see with high probability!!!

It was my first time skydiving, but there was a brief explanation beforehand, and I was able to dive without any issues. Just before jumping out of the Cessna, I felt a little nervous, but diving into the bright blue sky was an amazing experience. At first, it was a bit cold in short sleeves, but by the time the parachute opened, the temperature had risen, and I was able to enjoy the view of the ground as I landed slowly. I would love to try it again if I have the chance.

I was very excited for my first skydiving experience. First, in the car that picked us up, we had to read and sign a consent form, which was quite lengthy and made me feel a bit car sick. I thought it would be fine to take motion sickness medication before skydiving, but I recommend taking it before getting in the car for those who are prone to motion sickness.

Upon arriving at Pacific Skydiving, we received a briefing about the fees in a room, but since it was all in English, we were a bit confused as we don't speak English well. However, we managed somehow (laughs). We showed our voucher and selected photos and videos.

Then, when our names were called, we were fitted with harnesses and received explanations from the instructor in broken Japanese. It felt like a very brief explanation, and before we knew it, we were boarding the plane (laughs).

Once we were on the plane, it all happened so quickly. For a moment after jumping, I couldn't breathe and honestly thought it might be tough to continue in that situation, but I quickly got used to it, and after that, it was just amazing.

I was completely hooked. I definitely want to experience it again when I go to Hawaii!

飛び降りてからしばらくは息が出来ず、こんな状況が続くのか、正直辛いかもと思いましたが、すぐに慣れて、そのあとはもう最高としか言えないものでした。
見事にハマりました。またハワイに行ったらぜひ体験したいです！

The guide talked a lot about Hawaii while we were in the car! The horseback riding was wonderful; I was a bit scared at first, but my horse was very gentle and walked slowly ahead. The staff chooses each horse based on compatibility with the rider. Some horses seemed to be struggling because they just wanted to eat grass! Riding while looking at the ocean is something you can't experience in Japan, so I definitely recommend trying it!
