At first, I signed up for skydiving on a whim, but it turned out to be a great decision.

The diver who took care of me helped ease my nerves while we were in the Cessna, and even after we jumped, they took lots of photos in various poses. Once we were under the parachute, they explained the islands of Hawaii to me. The photographer was also cheerful and energetic, raising the excitement before the jump and capturing many wonderful photos.

Although the photos and videos come at a cost, seeing the final products made me feel it was worth it. Even after returning to Japan, I find myself smiling while looking at the pictures.

The only challenging part of the skydiving experience was dealing with the overseas insurance. I couldn't apply for insurance online, so I had to go directly to an insurance agent.

But it was definitely worth going through all that!

初めは勢いで申し込んだスカイダイビングでしたがやってみて大正解でした。

私を担当してくださったダイバーさんは、セスナ機の中で緊張していたら緊張ほぐしてくださいましたし、飛んでからも色んなポージングで写真を撮り、パラシュートになってからはハワイの島を説明下さいました。
カメラマンさんも明るく、ノリよく、飛ぶ前からテンション上げてくれ沢山素敵な写真を撮ってくれて下さいました。

写真や動画は値段はしますが、出来たものを見るとやって良かったと思いました。
日本に帰ってからも写真を見てニヤニヤしています☺️

スカイダイビングで大変だったのは海外保険の加入に手間取ったことです。
ネットの保険は申し込めなかったので別で直接保険屋さんへ対応頂きました。

でも、そこまでする価値ありました

I've always wanted to try skydiving at least once in my life, and I thought, why not do it in Hawaii? So I signed up for it. I was picked up at 5:30 AM and we jumped around 7:30 AM. We were back in Honolulu by 9:30 AM. It seems that the previous day's group couldn't jump until noon, so it depends on the weather and the number of participants.

There's no time to mentally prepare before you jump. (laughs) The foreign staff who jumped with me were funny, kind, and made the experience enjoyable! The views are absolutely stunning.

Photos do cost extra, but they send about 150 interesting and beautiful pictures, so it's worth getting them taken. Thank you for the amazing experience. I'm completely hooked. I will definitely participate again!!!

Very interactive - they do a wonderful job of showing you how things were done back then. You get to help cook some foods (I wish we could have eaten) and get a good look at how they lived! Cousin Billy was funny and very informative, even during our ride from Waikiki to Waimea Valley. The food and drinks did not disappoint either! After dinner the entertainment is second to none - they put on one heck of a show!

We booked VIP and loved sitting up close, but there is not a bad seat in the pavilion.

Our only complaint is that the Toa Luau ruined our other Luau. We attended Toa on Monday and then went to Diamond Head Luau on Thursday and it wasn't even close!!!

Thank you Toa Luau for one of our most memorable experiences while in Hawaii!!

My first skydiving experience was scary before jumping, but once I got on the helicopter, I couldn't help but jump. Once I was in the air, the view was amazing, and I was really glad I did it. I took motion sickness medication, but I still felt quite nauseous, so I personally think the medication is a must.

On the fourth day of our trip to Hawaii, we had scheduled this skydiving experience, but neither of us could sleep well until that day, and we struggled to eat properly. Looking back, I realize that even though we had signed up, we were embarrassingly nervous about it.

However, to get to the conclusion, it turned out to be an amazing experience that we can confidently say was "totally worth it!" As many others have mentioned, while in the air, it felt less like falling and more like floating, which was a strange sensation. We didn't feel nauseous or get injured at all.

The video we had requested to be filmed was also fantastic when we watched it later. It is indeed expensive, but I thought, "Since we're having such a rare experience, I want to preserve not just the 'memory' but also the 'record'," and it was definitely the right decision to go for it.

ハワイ入りして4日目にこのスカイダイビングの予定を入れていたのですが、私たち2人とも、その4日目まで熟睡できず食事も満足にのどを通らずという感じでした。後になって思えば、申し込みはしたものの恥ずかしながらそれほど緊張していたのでしょう。
ただ…、結論から言えばその緊張を笑い話にできるぐらい「やって良かった！」と言える最高の経験になりました。体験した皆さんがおっしゃっているように、空中では落下してるというよりは浮遊しているような不思議な感覚を味わえましたし、酔って気分が悪くなったりケガをするようなことはありませんでした。
また撮影をお願いしていた動画も、後で見ると最高でした。確かに高価ですが「せっかくの貴重な体験をするのだから、自分の“記憶”だけではなく“記録”も残しておきたい」と考えて思い切って注文したのが正解でした。

This was my first trip to Hawaii and my first skydiving experience. I felt reassured because there was someone who spoke Japanese. They were a bit eccentric, though (laughs).

The morning meeting time was quite early, but we were back at the hotel by mid-morning. I think it's great for those who want to make plans in the afternoon.

The actual experience was amazing; it was unlike anything I've ever done. It ends in an instant, so I want to do it again. I definitely recommend trying it out.

Also, photos and videos are an additional charge. The total for photos and videos exceeded 20,000 yen. If you only want photos, it would be around 10,000 yen. There are quite a lot of photos, and the video is about 5 minutes long.

I saw about 10 sharks really close up. It was more thrilling than I expected, and it was amazing.

I didn't feel like I was falling; it felt like I was being held up by the wind. Even after the parachute opened, it felt like I was just hovering in the air, to the point where I thought I might stay up there forever, haha. In reality, it was about five minutes, but it was the longest five minutes I've ever experienced. It was so much fun!

The skydiving itself was really fun, and the instructors were friendly, making it easy to enjoy. However, instead of everyone jumping at the same time, we ended up waiting for nearly five hours because each group jumped separately. Since we were a group, it would have been better if they had coordinated us together, but they didn't, which was quite confusing.

Additionally, the driver and guide who came to pick us up was an elderly Japanese man who didn't listen to anyone over 80 years old. Other participants in the tour kept saying how terrible he was throughout the trip, and the explanation of the waiver beforehand was completely unclear in Japanese. We had to listen to him talk about his health for an hour like a broken record. We were also pressured to give tips, which made it hard to end the tour on a positive note, leaving us quite disappointed.

If you go, it's best to rent a car and head directly to the airport without a guide. I strongly recommend not using this tour company.

また向かいにくる運転手兼ガイドが80歳以上の人の話を全く聞かない日本人のおじいさんで、他のツアー参加者の中でもあまりにも酷すぎると終始言われ、事前の誓約書の説明なども日本語が全く不明。壊れたラジオみたいに同じ自分の健康の話を道中1時間聞かされます。チップの強要もされるため、気持ちよくツアーを終えることが出来ずかなり残念な終わりかたでした。
行くならレンタカーしてガイド挟まずに直接飛行場に向かうのがベストです。せめてもここのツアー会社は使わないことを強く勧めます。

何時かスカイダイビングをしてみたいと思っていましたが中々機会がありませんでした。そろそろ年齢的にも限界かと思い、55才、52才の夫婦で初体験をして来ました。朝５時集合とかなり早い時間でした。ドライバーさんと日本語が堪能な方が添乗して下さり、バスに乗り6頁に渡る誓約書にサインをしながらダイビングの注意事項のビデオを見ながら飛行場に向かいます。飛行場に着くと予約した内容やビデオ撮影オプションの確認をして順番を待ちます。呼ばれるまでの待ち時間でバスの屋台で食事したり出来ます。日本語の話せるスタッフさんが写真を撮ってけるたりします。大体ワンクール30分で順番が来ると6人づつが呼ばれ、一緒に飛ぶインストラクターにハーネスを付けてもらい、ダイビング中の姿勢や注意事項のレクチャーを受けます。その後、セスナ機が来るまで撮影を希望した人はビデオ撮影をして待ちます。いざセスナ機が来て乗り込むと一気に14000feetまで上昇します。その間の上空から絶景を楽しむことが出来ます。インストラクターの方が緊張をほぐすためにイタズラしてきます。ポイントに着くと扉が空きひんやりとした風と乾燥した空気に緊張感が走ります。怖いとか考える余裕もなくインストラクターに押され、気づくと空に飛び出してました。あとは絶景にただただ興奮です。注意事項として乗り物酔いをする方は酔い止めを飲んでおいた方がよさそうです。それとフリーホール状態からパラシュートを開いたときや急降下する際にハーネスが太ももにかなりのＧがかかります。以外と体力が消耗します。スタッフさんもインストラクターさんも優しく親切です。是非、ビデオ撮影！！

I wanted to do something memorable the day after my wedding, and I’m really glad I went for it. The moment I jumped was the scariest, but other than that, I felt like I was flying and didn’t feel any sense of floating. The view was amazing, and the video captured some really funny faces, making it a great memory!

On top of that, the Brocken phenomenon occurred during the skydiving, and we got footage of passing through a rainbow, which made me extremely satisfied. The instructors were all cool and funny, and everything was just perfect. If I ever go to Hawaii again, I would love to do it again! Thank you!

クアロアランチの乗馬と違って、荷物を預けるところがないので、貴重品バッグは乗馬しながら持てるものがお勧めです。

I got caught in a huge traffic jam, but it turned out to be a satisfying tour. I felt that it would have been nice if we had about 30 more minutes at the Dole Plantation and Haleiwa Town. Although I couldn't see any sea turtles at Alii Beach, I was glad to encounter one during the horseback riding experience. Perhaps because of the heavy traffic? The horseback riding was a private experience for my husband and me, which was really lucky. The horses were calm, so I felt safe riding them, and the time flew by. If I have the chance, I would like to join this tour again.
