There were no Japanese participants on this tour, but the instructor was very kind and made me feel at ease! The view from 6,000 feet above ground was breathtaking! From there, with a countdown of 3, 2, 1, we experienced a free fall for about 20 seconds. I briefly thought, "Oh, this is going to be dangerous," but after about 10 seconds, I got used to the free fall and did the "ebi-zori" position (the posture for free fall is like a shrimp). I truly had a valuable experience and felt it was worth it! However, I wouldn't recommend it for those with a fear of heights or who are not fond of roller coasters! (laughs)

We participated as a family of five. The staff were all very kind, and we were able to enjoy ourselves with peace of mind. The view from the top of the mountain was also amazing.

However, on that day, there were strong winds and sudden rain, making it extremely cold at times. If you're participating at the end of February when the weather looks bad, I definitely recommend bringing long pants and a light jacket. They start sliding down regardless of a little rain (laughs) (sweat).

This activity was great our guide was knowledgeable in all things from the horses themselves to the whales and turtles in the ocean! The horses were well mannered and well kept! And the ride was just long enough. We rode on and close to the beach with clear views of the ocean, whales breaching and turtles popping up! Our guide even did a photo shoot for us!

We booked this tour for the day before we left for home .
The trip and the wealth of knowledge Brandon imparted was so good we really did wish we had booked it at the very start of our trip so we could take advantage of all the tips and suggestions he made to maximise our experience whilst visiting the island .
Every stop we made added to our fabulous experience of the island . My only wish having now taken the tour was to have the bus stop on the north shore for 15 mins maybe to fully experience the fabulous waves we only saw from the bus window ..
Brandon was a wealth of knowledge and kept the bus engaged at all times .

Neither my spouse nor I speak English, but the staff used a translation app to explain everything to us. Please prepare your passport as identification! A copy is also acceptable. They provide a drop-proof strap that can be fixed to your smartphone or camera.

Other helicopter tours had weight restrictions that prevented us from participating, but this tour has a limit based on the total weight of all participants, so even those who are a bit chubby can join. The 60-minute tour over Oahu offers great views and is thrilling without windows! On the way there, the left side seats have a good view of Honolulu's cityscape, while the right side overlooks the ocean.

We also flew over areas in the mountains where cars can't go, so I'm really glad we participated! The lack of hotel pick-up was a downside, but now with Uber, it's easy to use it for round trips.

I've participated in various activities, and if you're hesitating, I really recommend joining this one; it was fantastic!

This was the best circle island tour I could’ve had. Our bus driver, Lola, was fabulous. There were six of us on this tour, grandparents, adult children and grandchildren. We all very much enjoyed the tour and all of the Hawaiian history that Lola presented. We saw the best of the island (Oahu), and she got us in and out of places before they were overcrowded. We had plenty of time at all stops and never felt rushed. I could not have asked for a better experience for my family on their first trip to Oahu. I’m highly recommend this tour to anyone considering a full day’s tour. Sure, you can drive it yourself, but you’ll never get the full experience of hearing the history and stories from someone who actually lives on the island. Do yourself a favor and take this tour.

We were picked up by Dan. He is a very informative guide. After picking up everyone we preceeded to do our tour. At our first stop he served us a purple dount and water. We visited 12 places and stopped at 6 places. Just before we hit each place he gave us a lot of information plus we got to watch a video. The bus was air conditioned and had a bathroom on board. It was worth the 9 hours. We got to see some amazing sites and got to see most of Oahu.

I was using Uber to get around, but I decided to join a tour for sightseeing in Haleiwa and horseback riding. It turned out to be a great decision. Our guide was Japanese, providing attentive guidance and care that really hit the mark. Thank you, Arai! I wanted to try garlic shrimp in Haleiwa, and I was introduced to a restaurant. It was quite crowded, but thanks to the advance reservation and efficient service, we had plenty of time for sightseeing in Haleiwa. I got a cute Snoopy T-shirt for my grandchild. I do wish I had done a bit more research on Haleiwa beforehand.

Horseback Riding
The horses were very smart. I felt completely at ease; they were so intelligent that I think even kindergarteners could ride them. One downside was the explanation of how to handle the horses for those having lunch. Since the horses are smart, you just need to ride them, but the explanation wasn’t tailored for an elderly lady who didn’t understand English. It was a bit fast-paced! Thanks to our guide Arai, even though I didn’t understand English, I was able to grasp the meaning. It was a local approach of "just get on and get used to it." It wasn’t unpleasant at all, but it did have an American feel to it.

乗馬
賢い馬さん。なんの心配も入りません。幼稚園児でも乗馬できるのではないかと思うくらいの賢い馬でした。
一つ残念なのは、ランチの方々の馬の扱い方の説明。馬が賢いので、ただ、乗馬してれば、いいのですが、英語がわからないおばさんに対する説明ではありませんでした。早口でした！
そこもガイドのアライさんのおかげで、英語わからずですが、意味が理解できました。「乗って慣れろ」方式の現地の方でした。
決して不快ではないのですが、アメリカン的な感じです。

楽しい1日を過ごせました。

The zipline experience with breathtaking views from various directions in Hawaii is unforgettable. It took about an hour by rental car to get there, making it a full-day activity.

The skydiving experience and the instructor were amazing. It was a wonderful experience that I can truly say was one of the few precious moments in my life.

I had pre-ordered a video and photo package. The photos and videos were taken by the instructor's arm camera, and I paid an additional $139 for a separate cameraman to film from the outside. The total came to $602.

The data arrived a few days later, and when I watched it, there was a major editing mistake. The footage from the outside camera was upside down while the footage from the arm camera was normal! So, the video was switching between upside-down and normal footage. After returning to Japan, I emailed them about this issue, and I received an automatic reply saying, "We will respond properly, so please rest assured." A few days later, I received a message saying "Your link" along with the video link URL, but when I checked it, the editing mistake had not been fixed at all; it was exactly the same.

I sent three emails stating, "The editing from the outside camera is upside down, while the arm camera footage is edited correctly, so please fix it," along with my reservation number and screenshots of the upside-down footage, but I only received automatic replies and was completely ignored.

Since my English isn't very good, it was quite a struggle to send even one inquiry, and I researched other addresses and ended up sending a total of eight emails. I emailed the inquiry four times, and I also found their Instagram and tried to send a message, but it showed that I couldn't send it for some reason. The automatic reply I received had a different address, so I sent four emails there as well. I only received a link that was still incorrect, and all my emails were ignored.

再度、「アウトサイドカメラの編集が上下逆さま、ハンドカメラは正常の向きで編集されている為、直してほしい」という内容と、自分の予約番号の添付や逆さまのスクショを添付して、３度程送りましたが、自動返信のみで完全に無視されたままでした。

英語が達者でないので一度の問い合わせを送るのも一苦労ですし、問い合わせ以外のアドレスも調べて全部で８回送りました。
問い合わせへメールで４回、インスタも見つけて「メッセージ」へも送りましたが何故か送れない仕様になっているとの表示で送れず。
自動返信されてきた添付の問い合わせが別のアドレスだったので、そこへも４回送信。
たった一度、直っていないリンクが送られて来たのみで全てのメールを無視されました。

せっかく思い出として残そうと、そこそこの料金を払ったのに適当な編集をされ、苦労して何度も送ったメールへの対応は無視。酷いです。
返信が来なくて約１か月、もう対応はしてもらえなそうなので泣き寝入りだと思います。

(当日もカメラがちゃんと入っているかという確認を散々してやっぱり入っていなかったようでした。飛んだ後に判明してももう遅い。英語がつたない中、しつこく確認して本当によかった。その後、この編集ミス、そして対応しない、どうなってるんですかね？最悪です。)

First, we received a warm welcome from the friendly owner, Kaz, who provided us with an explanation about piloting (in Japanese, of course, and very easy to understand◎). After that, the pilot who would fly with us explained today's route and highlights using a model map of Oahu. He spoke in clear English, and if we didn't understand, the staff member nearby was always ready to interpret◎

Communication among passengers in the sky was done through headphones and a microphone. It was exciting to hear the pilot's communication with the control tower through the headphones! Once we entered stable airspace, I got to hold the control stick and actually pilot the plane, and I also experienced turning left and right over the ocean. We signed up for a plan to circle Oahu together, and I felt that landing at a local airport, Kalaeloa Airport, to switch seats was a unique experience that you can't have elsewhere (the departure and return were from Honolulu Airport).

I love the "Jurassic Park" movie series, and this time I was able to see Kualoa Ranch, the filming location, from above, which truly filled my heart with joy.

The team at Lani Lea Sky Tours was incredibly kind (when we returned, there was a snack party prepared, and we could eat as much as we wanted✨, plus we enjoyed some juice together), the view from the sky was amazing, and I never imagined I would get to hold the control stick of a plane in my lifetime, so it was an exhilarating and satisfying experience✨✨

It was my first time riding in a Cessna, and while I expected it to be bumpier than a commercial airplane, it was even more turbulent than I imagined. If you're prone to motion sickness, it's best to take some medication beforehand. The flight was scheduled for 10 AM, but we had to wait for a while due to the clouds. Therefore, it's better not to schedule anything right after the flight so you can relax while waiting. Although it was a shared flight, we couldn't enjoy the scenery to the east and west due to the clouds and wind, so we ended up flying back and forth over one side. However, since I prioritized the experience over the scenery, it wasn't a problem for me. I was also moved to see a rainbow from above.

The Dole farm and factory were a lot of fun. The ocean was beautiful as well. For lunch, a sandwich lunch box was provided. No Japanese guidebook was handed out. However, at the Dole plantation, there was a staff member who spoke Japanese and explained important parts in Japanese (it might have been a coincidence). Additionally, the guide could speak some Japanese, so there were times when they communicated using Japanese words. During the transfers, the guide explained various things about Hawaii in English. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand most of the explanations, but I still enjoyed each of the places we visited.

ドールの農場も工場もとても楽しかったです．海もきれいでした．お昼はサンドイッチのランチBOXが配布されました．

I signed up because I wanted to experience this at least once in my life! It felt more like flying in the sky than just falling from a Cessna! During free fall, the G-force was incredible, and the sound of the fall was intense! It was exhilarating and amazing☆

Since the temperature is low at high altitudes, I think it's better to wear thin long sleeves and long pants that block the wind! Those who participated in short sleeves and shorts said they felt frozen and lost sensation during the fall!

I think choosing a plan that included photo and video shooting was the right decision! It became a lifelong memory☆

Even though I don't understand English, there was an instructor who spoke Japanese, so I was able to experience it without any issues!

I highly recommend this as a once-in-a-lifetime experience☆

セスナから飛んで落下するというよりは、空を飛んでいる感覚でした！フリーフォール中は物凄いGがかかり、落下音が凄かったです！
気持ち良くて最高でした☆

上空は気温が低いので、風を通しにくい薄手の長袖と長ズボンがあったほうがいいと思います！
半袖、半ズボンで参加した人は落下中、凍りついて感覚がなくなったと言っていました！

The plan included a visit to the Dole Plantation, horseback riding, and sightseeing in Haleiwa. I thought the guide would just pick us up right near our hotel and take us by car, but instead, they shared a lot of history and local stories about Hawaii that we wouldn't have known otherwise. Honestly, it was worth the participation fee just for that.

At Dole, we had a short 30-minute visit, but I was able to shop and found unique items that aren't sold in Japan, which really excited me. The main horse experience was truly amazing. The waves at the North Shore looked like a painting. I was moved to think that such a beautiful place exists in this world.

Unfortunately, the horseback riding experience ran over time, so our sightseeing in Haleiwa was quite short, which was disappointing. However, I was able to enjoy delicious gelato and leisurely explore some cute shops, which was nice. I would love to take my time to explore more next time.

I had assumed that garlic shrimp was included in the course, so I was a bit disappointed to find out it was a separate course, but it was still so much fun that I would definitely do it again.

It was a day filled with awe in a world where there is still so much I don't know. Thank you, guide!

泊まってるホテルのすぐ近くまでガイドさんが迎えに来てくれてそのまま車で送迎するのだけかと思いきや、この車に乗らないと知り得ることのできないハワイの歴史や現地の話をたくさん聞かせてくれました。もぉ、ここまでで参加費の価値あり。
Doleでは30分と言う短い時間でしたが買い物もでき、日本では売ってない雑貨と出会いテンション上がりました。
メインのお馬さんは本当に最高でした。
ノースショアの波は絵に描いたよう。この世にこんな美しい場所があるなんて…と感動でした。
乗馬体験がおしてしまったのもあったのでハレイワ観光の時間がとても短く残念でしたが、美味しいジェラート頂きながらゆっくり出来たし、かわいい雑貨店巡りもできてよかった。
次はゆっくり見てみたい。

ガーリックシュリンプがコースの中に含まれていると思い込んでいたので別コースだと知ってちょっとがっかりだだたけど、全然！！！それ以上に楽しかったからまたの機会に。


まだまだ自分の知らないことがたくさんある世界にただただ感動の1日でした。

We had a great time with John!!! He knew so much about the island! we even got to see Jackie Chans, President Obamas and Bill Gates homes! It was so obvious that he is so passionate about the history of the island. He was so eager to teach us everything!
The food was spectacular, and the sites were breathtaking, but having a tour guide as passionate as John was the icing in the cake!
Guests- please be respectful when the guide is talking and keep your chatter at a minimum.

Doors-Off Paradise Helicopter Tour & Landing from Kapolei [Not Operating]

We had a great time on our helicopter tour! Our pilot was great. The scenery was beautiful! I had never been on a helicopter before and worried a bit about motion sickness, which I have an issue with sometimes. This was an extremely stable feeling ride! And our flight was a doors off flight. Zero problems with motion sickness here! The staff was pleasant and helpful. The pilot was capable and fun! Thanks for a great trip! I would highly recommend.
P.S. The instructions ahead of time say to bring a lanyard for your phone and your glasses, so I ordered both off of amazon. When you arrive, the staff had phone lanyards available and said that the headphones that you wear will hold your glasses/sunglasses on.

We used this for our honeymoon. Kaz-san provided transportation to the hotel and offered wonderful hospitality throughout our stay. The interior was very stylish and beautiful, creating a comfortable atmosphere. We felt completely at ease, especially with the Japanese staff handling the pre-flight briefing. During the flight, they introduced us to various spots and were attentive to our well-being, allowing us to enjoy the experience without any worries. Overall, it was the best. I thought right after the flight that I want to use this service again. There seem to be many operating companies, but I would choose Lani Lea without hesitation. It's a sure thing!

Due to bad weather, the flight was postponed once and rescheduled for the next morning. Thank you very much. The Japanese staff were very kind. Although the instructor couldn't speak Japanese, they actively communicated with us.

The aircraft I boarded was a 172P, and the pre-flight inspection and taxiing took about 15 minutes, with the actual flight lasting 31 minutes and taxiing after landing taking about 10 minutes.

During the 31-minute flight, there was about 10 minutes of hands-on flying experience. Even when I wasn't holding the controls, the instructor explained various things, which was very educational.

One personal disappointment was that although it was a "60-minute plan," the actual flight time was only about 30 minutes. I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting a full 60-minute flight.

Over 50 years old, and my first skydiving experience!
It was a group trip, but I participated alone with transportation included.
I had seen various posts, so everything went smoothly from pickup to check-in, the dive, and back to the hotel.

Before jumping out of the Cessna, I was nervous and my legs were shaking, but once I was in the air, it was truly amazing.
It felt less like falling and more like floating. As I broke through the clouds and the parachute opened, I was completely captivated by the beauty of the Hawaiian scenery.
I was so excited that I couldn't stop shouting, feeling overwhelmed with emotion.
The instructor was a nice guy who kept the energy up, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Initially, I had booked without a video, but I decided I wanted to have a record of it and purchased one on-site.
The price was high, but I was very satisfied.

I thought it might be my last chance to try this, but if I have the opportunity again, I definitely want to jump again.
