We were picked up on time, Veltra had all the supplies we needed (get an umbrella...there's no shade and you are there for a long time). The bay was beautiful. They picked us up from the bay on time. The Bay itself is amazing.
Hotel pickup and drop off was on time. Everyone very Nice and polite.

The One thing i didint like was that they ask You for You to bring cash to pay for the entrance. And give your money to another guest, and ask Himmler to pay for the whole party. Is confusing and weird. Specially after finding Out that at the entrance the DO accept cards.

I didn't encounter any sea turtles at Hanauma Bay, but I did see the state fish. However, half of the one-hour swim was spent searching for sea turtles in an area where there weren't many fish, so there wasn't much time to enjoy watching the fish.

Additionally, after the tour, photos are uploaded to Facebook the same day, but ours were missing. There seemed to be some confusion during the tour regarding the number of participants (was it 8 or 10?), which raised concerns about their awareness. I also received no response when I inquired about it.

Even though I tipped generously, I felt that this tour company was dishonest, as they provided no support after payment. If I receive a response, I will revise my review. Please contact me for now.

It seemed like we had good conditions that day, as we were able to go quite far and even encountered six sea turtles. However, depending on the type of participants (some were too scared to go deeper) and the sea conditions (like wind and waves), experiences may vary on different days, so some might find it less satisfying.

I truly had a wonderful experience, and thanks to Dan and Chieko, my honeymoon became an unforgettable one! One thing to note is that since it was my first time snorkeling, I felt a bit seasick, so I wish I had taken motion sickness medication beforehand. As someone who gets cold easily, even with a wetsuit, I still felt chilly at the seabed. Swimming for about an hour was quite tiring physically. I think it would be more enjoyable to participate in good health, especially considering the fatigue from traveling.

I noticed that they were attentive to those who seemed unwell, offering support and even having them sit in the front seat of the car on the way back. I believe they provided the best service possible. I highly recommend it!

私は本当に素晴らしい体験をさせて頂き、ダンさんチエコさんのおかげで一生忘れられない新婚旅行になりました！
注意点は初めてのシュノーケリングだったので少し波酔いしてしまったので酔い止めを飲んでおけば良かったと思います。冬の参加で寒がりの私はウエットスーツをお借りしても海底は寒く感じました。1時間ほどずっと泳ぐのでかなり体力的には疲れを感じました。旅の疲れもある中で体調は万全にして参加した方がより楽しめるかと思います。
気分が悪そうな方には声をかけていたり帰りの車は助手席に乗せていたり常に最善のサービスを届けて下さったと思います。おすすめです！

Everything that was listed happened, they came to pick us up on time, the equipment was in perfect shape, the small training for beginners was clear and well done.
I went with my 7-year-old daughter, and both guides where all the time paying special attention to us, to see that were ok, taking special care of us. I felt very well looked after and secure. They know what they do and are very professional.

I couldn't enjoy myself freely because I was with people I didn't know well. I would like to have a bit more free time. Although we got in early, we could only swim for about an hour, so I couldn't go to the places I wanted to. I didn't think Hanauma Bay was more beautiful than it was four years ago. It was nice that the fish were used to people and didn't swim away. The guide was kind and helpful. Since I didn't need water or snacks, I would have preferred a lower price or at least to have about two hours of free time.

I'm good at free diving, but since I borrowed a wetsuit for the season, my body was buoyant, making it difficult to dive deep, which was a hassle. It seems just right for looking down from the surface without diving.

I visited Hanauma Bay for the first time in over 10 years. Previously, I could take a direct bus from Waikiki and freely enter the water, but it seems that after COVID, you can no longer enter without a ticket. I gave up on getting a ticket since they are sold online only two days in advance, so I joined this tour instead.

The guides were a very kind and wonderful Japanese woman and a gentle foreign man who spoke fluent Japanese. From the entrance to the explanatory video and entering the water, it was a bit complicated, so I felt it was difficult without a Japanese-speaking guide.

They took us to a snorkeling spot with lots of fish, which was really fun. Although I didn't see any sea turtles, I was glad to see many different types of fish. I recommend this for anyone wanting to visit Hanauma Bay. Also, if you're going in winter, a wetsuit is essential. The sun is hot, but the water temperature is surprisingly low.

シュノーケルも魚がさくさんいるポイントに案内してくれて、とても楽しかったです。
ウミガメは見れませんでしたが、様々な種類の魚がたくさん見れて良かったです。
ハナウマベイに行かれたい方には、おすすめします。
あと、冬に行かれる場合は、ウェットスーツが必須です。日差しは暑いですが、水温は意外と低いです。

I'm really glad I was able to enter Hanauma Bay, which requires a reservation! The instructor was very polite and spoke Japanese, which was quite helpful. There were 10 participants and 2 instructors this time, but since the activities were tailored to the participants' levels, the snorkeling ended up being quite shallow, and the water clarity wasn't great. At the end of December, it was the rainy season, so the weather was bad and cold, making it impossible to stay in the sea for even 10 minutes. I quickly headed towards the parking lot, but there was no place to take shelter from the rain, and many people were gathered under the small roof of the shop and restroom. I thought it would be nice to have a facility with a roof to take shelter during such times.

The driver-guide was kind and friendly, but since the explanations were only in English, I couldn't understand anything and felt anxious from start to finish, which made the experience zero fun. While there were some pouches with explanations about the fish, I wished they could at least prepare a minimal Japanese pouch with the day's itinerary, return time, meeting place, and precautions for Hanauma Bay. I think Japanese people who cannot speak English should not participate. Conversely, if they want to attract Japanese customers, they should prepare explanatory pouches. If they don't need Japanese customers, then it's fine to continue as they have been. At least I managed to get back.

12月末で雨期だったので、天候が悪く、寒くて、10分も海に浸かることができないほど、直ぐに着替え駐車場の方に向かったが、雨宿りするところもなく売店とトイレの小さな屋根の所に大勢でいてましてが、こんな時に雨宿りできる屋根のある施設があれば良いのにな〜と思いました。
運転手ガイドさんは、優しくて親切ではありますが、英語の説明しかないので、全くわからず最初から最後まで不安で楽しさは、0でした。魚の説明のパウチ等は、軽く回されましたが、そのパウチを準備できるならせめて最小限の日本語の1日の流れ、帰りの時間と集合場所、ハナウマベイの注意事項等のパウチを準備して欲しかった。英語のできない日本人は、参加すべきでないと思います。逆に日本人のお客さんを獲得したいなら説明パウチを準備すべきだと思います。日本人のお客さんを必要ないと思うなら今まで通りで良いかと思います。何とか帰ってこれましたから

Although the water was cold since we started at 5 AM, I had reserved a wetsuit in advance, so I was fine during the long snorkeling session. On the day of participation, there was little wind, and I was able to see four sea turtles up close! Additionally, I was able to see many marine creatures that can only be found in Hanauma Bay, which was truly moving.

If I were to mention one point of caution, those with weak vestibular systems may be more prone to seasickness. I recommend taking a strong anti-nausea medication beforehand! I was a bit unsure about swimming since it was my first time snorkeling, but I was able to learn without any problems.
