The weather was great, and we were able to fully enjoy snorkeling. The waves were calm, allowing us to go far out. We even took photos with the heart shape at Hanauma Bay, and our guide was very experienced and kind. It was the first time for all five of us, including our 9, 11, and 13-year-old kids, so it was reassuring to experience it in Japanese. We had a lot of fun.

Thank you so much for everything the other day (^ - ^) Thanks to Teacher Chieko, my whole family was able to enjoy ourselves (^_^)v I was particularly worried about my 9-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter, but the teacher was very kind and provided a lot of support. My daughter really took a liking to her (^.^)

We were lucky to see the turtle eating, and even got to take pictures together as it came up to the surface☆ We also saw various kinds of fish, which were really beautiful (^_^)/~~

At first, we didn't plan to rent wetsuits, but the teacher advised us that it would be cold, so we decided to rent them. The kids seemed to feel cold later on, so I really think it was a good decision to rent them.

The teacher was very friendly and shared a lot about Hawaii and Japan.

This trip to Hawaii has truly become our most wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

Cheiko, who came to pick us up at the hotel, was very cheerful and pleasant, which made us feel very reassured at that point.

Once we arrived at Hanauma Bay, they kindly helped us with the rental of fins and wetsuits, how to change, and the use of masks. It took me a little time to get used to breathing through my mouth, but with Dan leading the way and Cheiko at the back, I felt very safe. They also adjusted the snorkeling route based on the day's bay conditions, prioritizing safety, which I appreciated.

Although we couldn't see any sea turtles due to the low tide, we were able to see many beautiful tropical fish, which was truly moving. Dan took photos of both people and fish with a GoPro and uploaded them to Facebook two days later, so participants didn't need to bring their own cameras or smartphones.

The sea and the fish were very beautiful, and we had a truly wonderful time. I also appreciated the water and snack service after the tour, as well as the transportation back to our accommodation.

The day before was chilly and cloudy, but on the day itself, it was clear from the morning! The sea below, viewed from the parking lot, was a deeper blue and emerald green than in the guidebook! Everyone except for me, who participated alone, was experiencing snorkeling for the first time. While I watched the crowd walking down to the beach, I quickly took the trolley to the coast. The highly anticipated Hanauma Bay had excellent visibility, and I encountered a variety of fish as soon as I entered from the beach. There were large parrotfish, blue wrasse, schools of surgeonfish, swarms of yellow butterflyfish, and finally, the turtle I had been hoping to see... I swam the longest distance ever. The first-timers were swimming faster than I was, and I ended up exhausted at the end... but I had a wonderful snorkeling experience. According to the guide, the conditions were exceptional and only occur a few times a year. Indeed, having a guide show you the best spots for the day leads to a highly satisfying experience. I'm grateful!☆

Second time I have used this tour to get to and from Hanauma Bay. Especially a great value if you already have your own snorkeling equipment as you can take the price down a few dollars without equipment rental.

Go first thing in the morning and be ready to get into the water by 8am or earlier. That way you can snorkel without the crowds until the circus arrives around 10am. By then I had already gotten 2 full hours of relatively unspoiled pics of all that I wanted to take and enjoyed lounging on the beach until the pickup time.

I participated with my mother. The guide stayed close to my mother, who had trouble with her breathing technique, which allowed both of us to enjoy snorkeling with peace of mind. The guide was very knowledgeable about the fish spots, so we were able to see a variety of fish efficiently, which was great. The fish swam very close to us and were beautiful.

However, it happened to be a very cold day, so I gave it one star less. The tour itself was excellent.

My sister and I signed up for the tour, and on the day of the tour, there were four participants including two foreigners. The weather was completely different from the rain the day before; it was clear and relatively warm. Although there weren't large schools of fish, we saw some swimming around, which was very enjoyable! Additionally, we miraculously encountered a sea turtle, which was incredibly moving :) According to our guide, it had been about a month since the last sighting…! I was so happy. The water temperature was cold even with a wetsuit, and it was a bit murky when diving, possibly due to the rain the day before, but I was very satisfied. Our guide, Chieko, was cheerful and friendly, making it a very enjoyable tour. Thank you!

AWESOME, especially for a beginner

Dan was a fabulous professional instructor and guide for us!! It was our first snorkel, my husband and I, age 58. We can swim but no one would say we're strong swimmers hence we decided upon an instructor/guide, and Dan's the very best.

We didn't plan to do the wet suits but thank goodness Dan had them available. It was low tide and the protection over the coral in shallow water was invaluable, besides the warmth and buoyancy it offered. (the water was a little cooler than we expected) Dan literally held my hand while snorkeling so i could simply relax and float and watch for fish. He guided us over coral I'd have never have done otherwise, and those were the best places to see the fish. He was so very patient and helpful as I suited up, he fitted my mask and fins, and he was very thorough explaining the snorkel, breathing etc. I'd have never had the same snorkel experience without Dan. He made us feel comfortable and safe, what more could you want?

We had plenty of nice surprises-the tram down and back for example. He provided water and snacks afterward, beach mats, lock box for stuff while in the water, transportation, etc. It feels luxurious when someone's taken care of everything, Dan made that happen and I'm confident he would for you too.

I can't recall the name of Dan's helper but she too was top notch. When snorkeling it's sometimes hard to know which direction you're headed, let alone the tide steering you. I don't really know how Dan and her managed to keep track of us, both above and below water simultaneously but they did, keeping us together, seeing and pointing out the best things possible during the snorkel.

Dan wants you to have a great experience. You will, like we did, I'm sure. If we can do it (with Dan's help) you can too!

PS Dan takes pictures of you for you. Can't wait to see ours!

Our driver was amazing! He kept up a running commentary on all the best places to eat, names of plants, celebrity houses, the works. He was always willing to answer questions no matter how stupid they sounded. He gave up plenty of info on the area we would be snorkeling in and the best parts of the reef to visit. He unfortunately did not have a pair of prescription goggles that I could use (I forgot to mention when booking) but he let me know I could rent a pair at the bay to ensure that I could see all the wonders below the ocean. He also had underwater cameras for purchase which was a bonus!!!

10/10 I would totally book transportation to go snorkeling with this company again.

I was able to see a lot of different types of fish. Unfortunately, I didn't encounter any sea turtles. The coral reef wasn't as colorful as I had hoped, but the water clarity was high. On January 7th, the conditions were said to be the best of the year, and the waves were calm. However, my wife and children, who are not great with the ocean, ended up feeling seasick, possibly due to the wetsuits we rented for warmth, and they couldn't participate until the end. That said, I and the other participants were able to swim comfortably, so it should be fine unless you're really not good with the ocean.

When we were dropped off at Hilton Hawaiian Village, our tour guide Dan recommended some great lunch and dinner spots near the hotel. We went to both places right away, and they were both fantastic. My two kids were also very satisfied, thank you!

The weather was nice, and we had a great time in a short period. As snorkeling enthusiasts, we were looking forward to participating. The beautiful sea and lush greenery were wonderful. There were surprisingly many people there. A long line formed in the morning to buy tickets. However, as tour participants, we were able to enter without waiting. Amazing!! Already worth it!!

The sea is beautiful. The coral is quite damaged, but we watched a video about protecting nature before going into the water, which also served as a lesson in conservation. The fish here are significantly larger than the ones in Okinawa. There are also fish that can only be seen here. We searched for turtles for quite a while, but there were no sea turtles today. The snorkeling experience was good. I wished I could have taken my time to look around more, but the snorkeling time was about an hour.

Our guide, Fumio, was wonderful. Thank you for guiding us to the points of interest. You also sent us many photos. Thank you very much. We look forward to doing this again.

My son was SUPER excited to go snorkeling so we booked a day through Veltra. Our driver showed up within 5 minutes of our pickup time (a feat with traffic) and got us going. He was very personable and helpful in getting us our equipment. We had an AMAZING day at Hanauma Bay (reef-safe sunblock only, people!) He was right on time for our pickup and turned on the AC so we could sit comfortably while waiting for the rest of the guests to return. We had a great amount of time to be in the water and had so much fun! My son got an acceptance call to the first choice college while we were waiting. Our driver said Congrats and even again as we were getting out of the van. It
was a fabulous day.

The female guide had a harsh tone, and her explanations were so fast that I couldn't understand what she was saying. As soon as we put on our masks, she forcefully took us to a deep area. I expressed that I was a beginner and that it was scary to jump in right away, but she insisted on taking us further, and I wanted to go back. The waves were quite rough, and the visibility was poor, making for the worst conditions. Within ten minutes, we turned back to the beach. Other participants also returned midway. I've always used Veltra, but this was the first time I experienced such a rough activity.

I was picked up at the hotel by the cheerful voice of Chieko-san in the morning, and we set off.
I was a bit anxious about snorkeling since it had been a while, but as soon as I saw the beautiful blue bay below, my excitement soared!
After watching the video, I changed into my wetsuit and headed straight into the water.
At first, the seawater felt a bit chilly, but I quickly got used to it.
During the practice phase of putting on the snorkel, colorful tropical fish swam right in front of me.

Excitedly following Dan-san, who was leading the way, I noticed a honu swimming right beside me as we approached the second half of our adventure!

久々のシュノーケリングで少々不安もあったのですが、眼下に広がる美しい青い湾を見た途端にテンションはアップ！
ビデオを観てからウエットスーツに着替えてさっそく海の中へ
最初は海水がひやっと感じたけどすぐに慣れました。
シュノーケルの装着の練習段階で目の前をカラフルな熱帯魚たちがたくさん
教えていただいたフムフムヌクヌクアプアアもいる～
わくわくしながら先頭を行くダンさんの後をついていくと、後半にさしかかるころに気づいたらホヌがすぐ横を泳いでました！
横目でチラッとこちらを見て、ゆっくり水をかいで泳ぐ姿に感動～☆
ビーチに上がるとなんとアザラシ（モンクシール）がゴロンと昼寝をしててびっくり
興奮しまくりの午前中が終わり、ほどよい疲労感が心地よかったです。
この度はチエコさんとダンさんのナイスペアのおかげで大変貴重な楽しい思い出ができました
