- he has great sense of humor and I enjoyed his choice of background music during the trip.
- I was blown away by the number of spinner dolphins and sea turtles we saw!
- Allison, one of the crew, was so friendly and helpful.

I’m glad I booked this trip :)

It’s perfect size of boat if you want to see views without other passengers heads in front of you, actually hear interesting and fun stories from captain and feel close to water.
We saw so many dolphins, colorful fish, turtles and learned a lot about these islands. As a bonus I got stung by a jelly fish, but I’ll take it as a very unique experience lol
If you’re very picky about food, bring your own, but for me it wasn’t important at that moment. They have different drinks and water, so nothing to worry about.
Both captains are super friendly and knew what they do.

Not good experience
Reviewed by: Naveen, 2022/04/19Hi, we were group of 8 with 4 kids (1-infant, 1-5y,1-8y, 1-12y). When we booked this tour, it was not mentioned that kids(12 year old kids) knowing swimming also need a adult company. As the adults doesn’t know proper swimming, our kids also couldn’t enjoy much and totally upset on the tour. We didn’t expect the tour like this with too much of crowded and no one is able to support everyone in the group to have basic experience.

Not what I thought
Reviewed by: Amber, 2022/04/03Based on the advertisement, I was expecting a smaller group size. Also “lunch included” was hot dogs. The boat next door was preparing food for fresh barbecue when we were loading, we were hoping it was for us but no such luck. I noticed a lot of the other tours had a device for hearing the whales sing under water. We didn’t hear that. And finally there was a dolphin guarantee and we didn’t see any. The whales we saw were pretty far away.
The crew though was nice, helpful and patient, and got all 5 of my kids to snorkel even when one was very hesitant. It was hard to keep track of my kids in the water because there were so many people in the water too.
Thank you for your review. Due to the layout of our vessel we are unable to BBQ. I do hope the kids liked the hot dogs though. We do have the hydrophone for listening to whales but we do not deploy it on the afternoon snorkel trip unless we encounter whales close to the boat. We do use it on our whale watching trips where we are able to get closer to the whales. The dolphin guarantee is for our morning snorkel tour that goes to Lanai where we frequently encounter dolphins. The afternoon tour is Lanai or Turtle town. We can't guarantee dolphins as we don't always make it to Lanai. I am happy to hear your family did enjoy the crew and overall you had a nice time.

Maui Adventure Lanai Snorkel & Dolphin Watch Ocean Raft Tour with Lunch
Unbelievable Experience
Reviewed by: Catalina , 2021/08/28This half-day snorkel adventure was one to remember! Not only did we see schools of beautiful fish at each reef, we were able to swim with sea turtles at the second location. As we were leaving, pods of spinner dolphins surrounded us which was a once in a lifetime experience. The captain and her first mate were friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, and had a fantastic sense of humor! The lunch that was provided was also outstanding! I would HIGHLY recommend this trip to anyone!!!!

Best trip we’ve ever taken on Maui!
Reviewed by: Ann T, 2021/08/19Captain Cary and Shannon are a mighty crew of 2! Cary is a good Texas boy who has lived on Maui for many years… But that Texas hospitality shines through! The man is packed with personality, and genuinely loves his job. He and Shannon both shared so many fun facts and interesting details during our trip. They packed lunch and breakfast for everyone which were outstanding and could not have been friendlier nicer or more accommodating the entire time start to finish! When our original destination was less than ideal he explained to the passengers why it would be in our best interest to go someplace else and he was exactly right! I’ve never encountered more knowledgeable or happy go lucky and fun loving captain. The boat is small so you will have lots of time to interact with Cary and Shannon and he will get more time in the water than on any other cruise. They know where to look for all the things you want to see… You will not be disappointed. If you only book one thing on Maui book this charter!!!

Amazing experience!

Captain Kiwi and Alison were great- entertained us, taught us things, and made sure we had fun while being safe!

Fun Time

We saw 2 species of dolphins and many whales. The snorkling was great. The raft has a toliet so that too was a plus.

We were lucky enough to see a mother whale and her calf along with plenty of dolphins, turtles, and colorful fish. The staff was very friendly and took very good care of us. I would highly recommend this activity to any party looking for fun and adventure. We will rebook this activity on our next trip to Maui.

Loving Snorkelling!!!

Lanai is so beautiful with lots of reef fishes and the bluest water I have ever seen. Oh and we also saw some whales, the second time. Everyone on the crew is super awesome and really took care of us. Will be seeing you guys again ... hopefully sooner than later. lol.
