Molokini Island is definitely a MUST-DO, so I joined the snorkeling tour. From before boarding the boat, coffee was already prepared, and once on board, there was a spread of breakfast fruits and muffins, which made me feel well-prepared. The captain provided various guidance during the boat ride, and Takahashi, a Japanese staff member, took great care of us (we were the only Japanese) as well as many families with children and elderly guests, which was very comforting. I was impressed by how hard the guides worked to assist the guests during scuba diving as well. For lunch, there were plenty of BBQ cheeseburgers and hot dogs, giving off a true American vibe! The guides all worked together to find turtles and showed them to the little kids. Later, the captain turned into a bartender at the bar counter, serving free beer and Mai Tais. The atmosphere on the boat felt like a social gathering, with everyone having a great time and cheering for the whales that occasionally appeared. We ride various boats during scuba diving, but this one had clean restrooms for both men and women, making it an incredibly fun tour. The staff were very attentive, ensuring that even those who couldn't swim and children who were afraid of the water could enjoy entering the sea. It was the best tour. Just seeing the amazing clarity of Molokini is worth it, so definitely consider joining!

モロキニ島はやっぱりMUSTアイテムだなと思いシュノーケルで参加しました。
船に乗るまえからコーヒーが用意されていたり、乗り込んだ船内には朝食のフルーツやマフィンが並んでいて、準備万端だなと感じました。ボート出向から船長が色々ガイドしてくれたり、日本人のタカさんは僕たち（日本人は僕たちだけでしたが）のほかにも、たくさんのお子さん連れや、年配の方をケアされていて、とても心地よかったです。スキューバの時もガイドさんたちは一生懸命お客さん助けてあげていてすごいなと思いました。ランチもBBQでのチーズバーガー、ホットドッグがたくさんあって、アメリカ！って感じでした。カメもガイドさん総出で探し、小さなお子さんにも見せてあげてました。その後バーカウンターは船長がバーテンダーになり無料でビール、マイタイ、無料でふるまってました。その後の船上はまるで社交場、ワイワイみんなで盛り上がり、時折現れるクジラに大歓声。僕たちはスキューバで世界色々なボートに乗りますがトイレも男女あったり、清潔で、最高に楽しいツアーでした。またスタッフさんたち全員で色々気を使ってくれるので、泳げない人も、水を怖がるお子さんも、海に入ること、楽しんでいたと思います。
最高のツアーです。モロキニの素晴らしい透明度をみるだけでも、気軽にぜひ参加してみてください！！

I experienced snorkeling for the first time in my life. About 90% of the participants were foreigners. However, there is a Japanese guide who teaches various important points to keep in mind while snorkeling, so I felt reassured. I absolutely recommend it.

シュノーケリングを生まれて初めて体験しました。参加者の９０％は外国の方です。が、日本人ガイドのかたがいるので、シュノーケリングするときの注意点などいろいろ教えてくれるので安心です。絶対にお勧めです。

On my second trip to Hawaii, I visited Maui for the first time. I really wanted to go to Molokini, so I booked a tour. Our guide, Kana, was very kind and took a lot of photos for us, helped us search for sea turtles, and shared many personal stories. We rode on a boat with international guests, but I felt completely comfortable participating as a Japanese person! The ocean was incredibly beautiful, and I was so happy. It became the best honeymoon ever. I definitely want to join again! Thank you, Kana.

絶対モロキニ島に行きたいと思いツアーを予約しました。ガイドのカナさんはとても親切で写真をたくさん撮ってくださったり、ウミガメを一緒に探してくださったり、プライベートのお話もたくさんしてくださいました。海外のお客さんと一緒に船に乗りますが日本人でもアウェイ感なく参加することができました！海がとてつもなく綺麗で幸せでした。最高の新婚旅行になりました。また絶対参加したいです！カナさんありがとうございました。

It was a day with such high transparency that even the guide was excited; the sea was truly beautiful. The Japanese guide was very cheerful and provided detailed lectures on various topics. Especially regarding the best spots and lunch, they shared a lot of information in advance, making everything go smoothly. It seems that the English guides or audio guides didn't provide such detailed information, which is a unique aspect of having a Japanese guide. I was really satisfied to have met a sea turtle as well.

ガイドさんも興奮するくらいの透明度が高い日だったらしく本当にキレイな海でした。
日本人ガイドさんはとても明るくて、色々と細かくレクチャーしてくれました。特に場所とりやランチについても事前情報をたくさん教えてくれたので、すべてスムーズに。
おそらく、英語のガイドというか放送ガイドではもちろんそんな細かい情報教えてる様子はなかったので、日本人ならでは。
ウミガメにも会えて本当に大満足でした。

It was great. Last time my wife wasn't feeling well, so we came back for a revenge trip. This time, since we were more accustomed to Hawaii, it was good. We were also able to see sea turtles at Keawalai, which we couldn't do last time. The attentiveness of the Japanese staff was especially wonderful.

良かったです。前回は妻の体調が良くなく、リベンジで望みました。今回はハワイに慣れてからでしたので、良かったです。前回は行けなかったケアワライで海がめも見られよかったです。特に日本人スタッフの気配りは最高でした。

I made a reservation two days ago, and the response was smooth, allowing me to secure my booking right away! Kana, the Japanese guide, was very kind and took many photos for us. I recommend bringing an underwater camera! On the way to Molokini Island, I was incredibly moved when dolphins swam alongside the boat, and I got to see them up close for the first time! When the guide spotted a sea turtle, he called out loudly, and we were able to see it right away. It was amazing to see the sea turtle surface for air right in front of us! Next time, I want to go see whales!

The sea was very beautiful, and I’m glad I participated. On the day of the event, the Japanese staff provided thorough guidance, which made me feel safe and allowed me to enjoy myself. However, there seemed to be a service to purchase photos taken underwater later, but I didn’t have any photos taken, which was a bit disappointing. I definitely want to use this service again.

海がとても綺麗で参加して良かったです。当日も日本語スタッフの方に丁寧にご案内頂き、安心して楽しめました。
ただ、水中で撮影された写真を後で購入できるサービスがあったようなのですが、撮影されておらず写真が無く、少し残念でした。
是非また利用したいと思います。

It was a better tour than I had imagined. Regarding the meals, I was able to eat an appropriate amount, and although I thought it would taste bad, it was actually quite good. As for snorkeling, even as a couple with a 132-year-old, we were able to participate without feeling overwhelmed. I would like to book the tour again within the year.

想像してた以上に、良いツワーでした。
食事に関しては、適当量が食べられたのと、まずいと思ってましたが、食せる味でした。シュノーケリングですが、夫婦で１３２歳の年寄りでも負荷を感じづ参加することができました。年内に再度ツワーを申し込みたいです。

The snorkeling at Molokini Island has excellent visibility, but unfortunately, there are very few fish, and they are mostly small. The later cruise to see the sea turtles was canceled due to weather conditions. The staff members are kind and attentive, and the breakfast and lunch burgers are good.

モロキニ島のシュノーケルは、透明度抜群なるも、肝心の魚たちが少なくかつ小さなものばかり。後半のウミガメを見に行くクルージングも天候の関係でＯＵＴ。スタッフの皆さんは親切丁寧だし、朝食、ランチのハンバーガーもGOOD。

I was able to see a lot of fish while snorkeling. The waves were high, so I couldn't go see the turtles, but I was able to snorkel for a long time, which was really great.

シュノーケリング中はたくさんの魚を見ることができました。
波が高く、亀を見に行くことはできませんでしたが、その分長時間シュノーケリングができ、とてもよかったです。

Kana, a Japanese woman, was very helpful. She lent various items to my daughter who got seasick. I was impressed by the clarity of the water around Molokini Island. Additionally, thanks to her help in searching for turtles, we were able to see many turtles and took lots of photos. This tour was the MVP of our family's trip to Hawaii. If we visit Maui again, I definitely want to participate.

日本人の女性カナさんがとてもよくしてくれました。船酔いした娘にいろいろなグッズも貸してくれました。モロキニ島の海の透明度には感動しまた。また、一緒にカメを探してくれおかげでたくさんのカメにも会うことができまし写真もたくさん撮ってくださりました。
このツアーは今回の私たち家族のハワイ旅行のMVPです。

The water clarity around Molokini Island was high, and it was a wonderful tour where I went to Wailea, went snorkeling, and encountered two sea turtles. The Japanese guide was very kind, and I felt that the English guide's explanations were provided in a more detailed manner.

モロキニ島周辺の海の透明度が高かったこと、ワイレアまで行ってシュノーケリングして海ガメ2頭に逢えて、とても素晴らしいツアーでした。
日本語ガイドさんがとても親切で、英語のガイドさんが話している内容をより丁寧に説明してくれていたように思えました。

This was an experience of a lifetime. The food was good. The crew was awesome and the spot to snorkel was fabulous. I think best of all this supports a good cause which was the tipped me going with them. On the way back they gave us a bonus looking at another dolphin pod prior to docking.

I participated with my 11-year-old daughter. There were Japanese staff members at check-in, which made us feel at ease. The boat was a large two-story vessel, but we chose the first floor because it was said to sway more on the second floor. There were about four Japanese families, a few Asians, and mostly Westerners on board.

It takes about an hour to reach Molokini Island, but with the sea breeze, we didn't feel nauseous and it was comfortable. We did two points of snorkeling, and before each entry into the water, the Japanese staff provided explanations. During snorkeling, the staff also monitored the area on bodyboards and would let us know if there were turtles or mantas around.

The Japanese staff were very kind, and we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it!

11歳の娘と参加しました。チェックインにも日本人のスタッフさんがいて、安心でした。
大きめの二階建ての船でしたが、二階の方が揺れが大きいとのことで、一階を選びました。日本人は4組ぐらいで、アジア人は少し、ほとんどが欧米人でした。
モロキニ島には約一時間かかりますが、海の風を受けていれば酔うこともなく、快適でした。2ポイントシュノーケリングをしましたが、毎回海に入る前に日本人スタッフさんが説明をしてくれます。シュノーケリング中もスタッフさんがボディボードであちこちを見てくれており、カメやマンタがいると、声をかけてくれました。
日本人スタッフさんがとても親切で、とても楽しく過ごしました。おススメです！

We were scheduled to snorkel at two locations, but due to high waves, we only snorkeled around Molokini Island. The water clarity was high and beautiful, but there were few fish.

Additionally, there were many people, so we spent a long time waiting for everything (getting food, entering the sea), which felt a bit wasteful.

While the snorkeling experience was somewhat lacking, diving into the sea from the slide attached to the boat and enjoying the wonderful scenery while cruising was fun.

Also, the hamburger for lunch was delicious. My family was the only Japanese group, but it was reassuring to have a Japanese crew member.

2箇所でシュノーケルする予定が、波が高くてモロキニ島の周り1箇所でのシュノーケルになった。透明度は高くて綺麗だったが、魚の数は少なかった。
また、人数が多くて何をするにも（ご飯をとる、海へ入る）並ぶ時間が長く、少しもったいなく感じた。
シュノーケルの内容としては物足りなかったが、
船にとりつけられたすべり台から海へのダイブや素晴らしい景色のクルージング楽しかった。
また、ランチのハンバーガーはおいしかった。
日本人はうちの家族だけだったが、クルーに日本人の方がいて心強かった。

The Japanese staff were very kind, helping us look for sea turtles and showing us snorkeling spots. I asked for her name, but I couldn't hear it over the sound of the boat engine, so I don't know her name. The Japanese staff member (a woman) was very friendly, and we had a wonderful day. Thank you very much.

日本人スタッフの方が、一緒にウミガメを探してくれたり、シュノーケリングスポットを教えてくれたりとても良い方で、
名前を聞いたのですが、船のエンジン音で聞こえなかったので名前がわかりませんが、日本人スタッフの方（女性）がとても親切で楽しい一日を過ごせました。

Thanks to our guide Kana, we had a very enjoyable snorkeling tour! We were able to see many large turtles, about the size of a kotatsu, which was very satisfying. My son got seasick, but thanks to the crew's consideration, they made a covered bed on the deck for him to lie down. During snorkeling at the Molokini point, my son got a bit overwhelmed, but the fish were thrilled and swarmed around us in a tornado-like fashion. I highly recommend this tour!

ガイドのカナさんのおかげで、とても楽しいシュノーケルツアーでした！
コタツくらいの大きなカメもたくさん見ることが出来て大満足。
息子は船酔いしてしまいましたが、クルーのお兄さんの配慮でデッキに屋根付きのベッドを作ってもらって横になることが出来ました♬
モロキニのポイントでのシュノーケル中に、息子はキラキラをしてしまいましたが、魚が大喜びで寄ってきて、モンガラのトルネード状態でした(^_^;)
オススメのツアーですよ！

Trip, crew, boat and food were great! Crew was professional and friendly. Trilogy III was spacious and comfortable. Food provided accommodated family members with allergies to gluten, peanuts and tree nuts. Was our second trip with Trilogy and look forward to our next excursion with Trilogy on a future Maui vacation. Would highly recommend considering Trilogy for your snorkel cruise.

I took the motion sickness medication too late, and both my child and I got sick, but there were plenty of fish, and we even saw a turtle, so it was a fun time. I received a lot of help from Takako. Thank you very much!

酔い止めを飲むタイミングが遅すぎて、子供と私が酔いましたが、魚はたくさんいたし、カメにも会えたし、楽しい時間でした。

Cole was our tour guide, he was extremely informative and helpful. We were nervous not knowing how difficult the paddle was going to be but it truly was easy. We paddled over to the turtle cleaning station and we’re amazed at all the turtles we literally just hanging out with. Cole showed us different sea life and explained the history of the surrounding islands. It was the best tour we had during all our trips, clear waters, lots of coral and mostly turtles!!! We highly recommend

The boat was not originally scheduled to go to Molokini; instead, it stayed in shallow waters unaffected by the wind. We snorkeled in a place with few fish at first. After that, we spent several hours just enduring the strong winds and blazing sun on the moored boat.
Is it because canceling would make refunds complicated?
I was disappointed that my precious time off was wasted.

船は当初からモロキニに行く航路では無く、風の影響を受けない浅瀬で停留する事、最初だけ余り魚のいない場所でシュノーケリング。後は数時時間。係留された船の上、単に炎天下、強風に耐え辛抱するだけ。
キャンセルにすると返金が面倒だから？
やっと休暇を取った貴重な時間が損なわれ残念でした。

Children's opinion:
The waves were rough, but there were fish, and it was fun.

It takes about an hour by boat to get to Molokini Island.
By chance, there was a strong southwest wind, so the boat was rocking quite a bit, but it seems that about 70% of the year is calm.
There were also considerable waves around Molokini Island, and we could only stay for a short time, but it seems that it's actually calm like a lake, so I want to try again.

モロキニ島へは、船で1時間。
たまたま、サウスウエストの風が強く吹いていたため、かなり船が揺れていたが、1年のうち70%くらいは、穏やかだそうです。
モロキニ島周辺もかなりの波があり、短い時間しか入れなかったが、本当は湖のように穏やかだそうなので、またリベンジしたいです。

The boat sways quite a bit, so I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take medication before participating. I was grateful for the cheerful staff who provided thoughtful attention.

船が結構揺れるので、酔いやすい方は薬を飲んでから参加することをお勧めします。
スタッフの方々は明るく細かい配慮をしてくださりありがたかったです。

【Experience Details】
We had plenty of time to see fish and turtles at two spots. On the way there, we encountered a pod of dolphins and even saw them spin. At each spot, we saw many fish, and we were able to see six turtles and an octopus as well. However, since I participated at the beginning of July, there were some areas where the water was a bit cold. This might have been due to a typhoon approaching a few days later.
On the way back, it was a great experience to enjoy a hearty barbecue chicken while sailing.
【Others】
We were the only Japanese couple, but the staff were all cheerful and friendly sea men and women who interacted with us warmly. The other participants were mainly families and couples. The explanations in English were delivered quite quickly, so honestly, it was hard for me to catch everything, but I think it’s fine as long as you mimic those around you (laughs). I was worried on the day of the activity because I completely forgot about the reconfirmation phone call the day before, but it turned out to be okay.
Also, I gave a tip of $20 to one person when disembarking (the others around me did the same).

Overall, it was a very satisfying activity.

【体験内容】
スポット2箇所でたっぷりの時間で魚や亀を見ることができました。
行きの船ではイルカの群れに出会い、スピンも見れました。
スポット各々で、たくさんの魚を見れ、亀も6匹、タコも見ることができました。
一方、7月頭の参加でしたが、少し水が冷たい箇所もありました。数日後に台風が迫っていたことが理由かもしれません。
帰りはセーリングで帰りながらボリューミーな鶏肉のバーベキューを食べるのも良い体験でした。
【その他】
日本人は我々夫婦のみでしたが、スタッフは皆海の男&女で爽やかに明るい方々で、気さくに接ししていただきました。
我々の他はご家族やカップルが中心でした。
説明など英語はかなりスピーディに話されるので、得意でないわたしには正直聞き取るのは無理でしたが、基本周りの真似をしていれば大丈夫かと思います（笑）
前日リコンファームで電話ということでしたが、完全に忘れており当日心配しておりましたが、大丈夫でした。
また、チップは、下船時にお一人に20ドルをお渡ししました（周囲の方も同様な形でした）

総じて大満足のアクティビティでした。

Before the English announcement, staff member Kato guided us, which was reassuring. The first point near Molokini Island was fun with its colorful fish. At the second point, the waves got bigger, so I quickly got back on the boat, but my companion said they were able to see turtles. During the return cruise, everyone got excited when a big fish was caught. It was also interesting to watch them skillfully fillet it with a large knife.

英語のアナウンスの前にスタッフの加藤さんが先に案内してくれるので、安心でした。モロキニ島の近くのポイントは色とりどりの魚がいて楽しかったです。2番目のポイントは波が大きくなってきたので私はすぐに船にあがったのですが、連れは亀など見れたそうです。帰りのクルーズ中、大きな魚が釣れてみんなテンション上がりました。大きなナイフで器用にさばいているのをみるのも興味深かったです。

I was unsure whether to sign up for this trip, but I'm really glad I participated! The staff were very cheerful and kind. I was impressed by the cobalt blue sea of Molokini Island! At another location, I was able to see sea turtles up close, which was amazing, and the burgers at lunch were hearty and delicious. It became a wonderful family memory. We had the best experience on our day trip to Lanai on a great boat with a fantastic captain and crew. We ended up on the 6:30AM cruise and everyone was super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated that they insist upon the use of reef safe sunscreen (and provide gobs of it for you to use). They also educate you as to why this is so important!
We saw a whale on our way out & a pod of spinner dolphins doing lots of early AM tricks. The beach at Lanai is pristine and you have it almost all to yourself.
The snorkeling was some of the best I've experienced on Maui ~ reefs are healthier than some of the others and there are loads of fish. Only complaint was that it felt a bit rushed, as we took the tour of Lanai first. Honestly I'd skip that next time and spend more time in the water. There was a photographer on the boat who was wonderful ~ she got lots of pics of the wildlife, as well as pics of families/couples on the boat & also snorkeling in the water!
The lunch was very tasty & we enjoyed chilling out with drinks and ice cream on the way back. Thanks much to the Trilogy crew for such a wonderful trip!

The crew was really nice, the 2 spots were amazing ! 4 stars only because unfortunately we didn’t see any turtle, but the overall experience is still outstanding.

It was a tour for a large group, but there were plenty of seats, and the hamburgers for lunch were freshly grilled and delicious! The water around Molokini Island was cold, but a swimsuit and a UV-protective swim parka were sufficient. I forgot to apply sunscreen, and the back of my thighs near my butt got quite sunburned. They provide coral-friendly sunscreen (everyone who applied it turned white). It seems that dolphins can be seen almost every day on Maui, and I was amazed by the large pod of dolphins swimming alongside the boat. At the second spot, we were also able to see swimming sea turtles.

大人数で行くツアーですが、座る席も充分あり、昼食のハンバーガーもお肉焼きたてで美味しかったです！
モロキニ島周辺は水が冷たかったですが、水着に、UVカットの水着用パーカーで充分でした。日焼け止めを塗り忘れ、お尻の近くの腿の裏がかなり焼けました。
日焼け止めは、サンゴに優しいものを貸してくれます。(塗った人たちみんな白くなっていましたが)
マウイ島では、ほぼ毎日イルカが見られるそうですが、すごい数のイルカの群れが船と一緒に泳いでくれたことに感動しました。
2箇所目では、泳いでいるウミガメも見ることができました。

Captain Dan and the crew were fantastic! Friendly and helpful, even though they they had just come back from the morning cruise. They truly enjoy their work and it shows! We will recommend them to all our family and friends!
