Snorkeling at Molokini Island was beautiful and fun. However, I didn't know that renting a wetsuit (upper body) would cost $10 per person, and I only brought cash for tips (since it's dangerous to take money on the boat), so I was short on cash and had a hard time. I would have liked a notice that the snorkeling set is included in the price, but the wetsuit fee is not. It costs $10 per person. Without a wetsuit, I couldn't get in because it was too cold with just a swimsuit.

I took the boat there and back from Lahaina harbor, very clean and safe. I highly reccomend taking this boat over the water to other islands. Remember to have fun and be safe. Boat went past some whales!
Started off by getting a call from captain to ensure we were in the area because we couldn’t find it initially. Get on the boat yummy bfast cinnamon rolls- beautiful ocean. We sat up front on the netting- saw flying fish dolphins and whales! The captain of the ship made sure we had a great experience by allowing us to view the dolphins and driving toward the whales to ensure we got a better look. They had lots of facts about the marine animals we saw- the island- and the history of trilogy. During the stay at lanai we enjoyed the beautiful beach and tide pooling- we did not snorkel or snuba. Before we left the island we had a yummy lunch, bbq chicken and noodles that the crew made fresh in a wok smelled so good! Then we boarded the ship and headed back- on the way back we got to see some whales and we learned about the end of whale season and the competition between male whales to get female etc. Mai tais on the way home even offered non alcoholic moctails for the kids. Plus delicious ice cream. Was by far our favorite trip adults and kids included. Thanks trilogy for the amazing experience!
Fantastic trip from beginning to end - The boat ride to the island was smooth and very enjoyable, saw tons on dolphins right up to the boat, flying next to the boat and jumping our of the water. Even saw a Mommy and Baby dolphin - so Cute!!! Then to the Lanai island for a unbelievable snorkeling experience - so many beautiful fish - schools of them - amazing. The Crew was supportive and watchful for the entire group's safety and highest level of Fun. The lunch is all you can eat freshly cooked noodles, teriyaki chicken, salad with mango dressing, refreshing drinks - the most wonderful meal. Don't miss this trip - it is 100% worth your time and the cost of the trip. We plan to go again when we return to Maui.

This snorkel adventure does not disappoint! Amazing crew. This was our second trip with Trilogy & yahoo - so fun. Captain Michael, Zack, Q, & I can’t remember the young lady’s name but they were just phenomenal. Will for sure book another adventure with them & hope for Captain Michael again.

I always really enjoy taking the ferry, especially when it’s nice out and I can get on the outside deck to watch the whales. So nice
The snorkeling location at Molokini was great, and I was able to see many different types of fish. The tour staff were very accommodating, and I was satisfied with the meals. There was a mistake with the parking area, and my rental car was towed, but thanks to the kindness and quick thinking of the Japanese staff member, Takako, I was able to retrieve my rental car safely. It was an expensive lesson, but it taught me the importance of asking questions on the spot. I am truly grateful to Takako for making my experience in Maui unforgettable. I believe many Japanese tourists will be visiting in the future, so I would appreciate efforts to handle any issues that may arise on-site.

We really enjoyed the tour. The waterfall stops and lush rainforest scenery were beautiful. The lunch was good. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and informative. The black sand beach was the highlight for us! We loved going the reverse route. We definitely recommend this tour!

I chose this tour thinking that a large ship would be less rocky since I was with elderly people. It was a two-story boat, and we were able to sit at the front on the second floor. The boat's rocking was minimal.
There was a complimentary soft drink service, but it wasn't distributed to everyone; instead, those who wanted it had to go get it themselves. My family was so focused on watching the whales that we didn't take advantage of it.
We were able to see many whales, but we didn't get very close to them, which was a bit disappointing. However, I was satisfied overall. On a previous whale watching tour, the boat was smaller, and we could see the whales up close, which felt more thrilling, so I was a little let down this time, but I think it's just a matter of luck.
I heard that whales can be seen at any time of day, so I think the early morning trips are a good deal.
The parking lot had information about free parking in the tour's pre-explanation document, so we parked according to that. There are several free parking areas in Lahaina.

This was an amazing experience in every step. Our guide, Yoshi, was super nice and cared for each one of us making sure that we felt comfortable and safe on each part of the trip. He taught us a lot about the stars, NASA and the culture of the Island while showing us amazing landscapes and taking incredible pictures of us. He provided blankets and hot tea/coffee to stay warm. Words can’t fully describe this experience. We totally recommend it!
Really great captain and naturalist staff. The boat ride was enjoyable and we saw several whales. The snorkeling was beautiful. They have staff on surf boards setting up a safety perimeter. We really enjoyed this trip! We would definitely book again if we return to Maui.
The instructor was great. Helpful, fun and kind. Ended up with a group of 3 students. If there has been the full class of 4 the day might have seemed a bit slow as a lot of the time is spent waiting for waves and taking turns.
We liked this tour but booked incorrectly as we thought you could add a 3rd or 4th person to the booking- I would recommend you guys just change it to how many people you are booking because the bundles do not work with most families
There was so much to do and see in one day, our kiddo loved this day on our trip.
I would do this again, as my family had a bunch of fun and its not too sun heavy!
the pineapple farm was so gorgeous and the smell of island fruits filled the air! the pineapple to bring home was a treat on top of a great day!

Yoshi was the most gracious, considerate and knowledgeable guide. He gave our family a lasting memory. With the little kind touches of treats and hot drinks and warm blankets, he made a magnificent experience even more enjoyable.
Haleakala is breathtaking! His knowledge of Astronomy and his desire to make our experience unforgettable from beginning to end was the highlight of our visit to Hawaii.
The quiet view of the most memorable sunset we have ever seen and the majestic night sky to wrap up the evening will be treasured forever.

I was on vacation with my family and went booked the Maui Nui Sunset Luau and was not disappointed! The location was beautiful, amazing ocean view at sunset. All of the food on the buffet was amazing, with a wonderful variety. The show was great as well, told of such an amazing culture of the island. I would recommend this luau!
John was an awesome guide. Perfect excursion, we got to swim with turtles, touched an octopus and watched a Manta Ray swim beneath us. Excellent tour !!!

This might have been our favorite thing we did on our trip to Maui! Beautiful setting, delicious food and drink, education, and show! Our server was attentive, even to my daughters allergies (tell them ahead of time and they are so well prepared). And the sunset! I was hesitant at first about the cost but when you take into account the meal and the entertainment, it was well worth it. Will do it again if we are ever lucky enough to return!
