ハレアカラサイクリングツアー ダウンヒルでの爽快ツーリングが楽しめる！山頂からの日の出鑑賞やハレアカラ国立公園ツアーなど選べるプラン＜午前／英語ガイド＞
天然プラネタリウム、御来光、ダウンヒル、どれも最高、ka ʻoi aʻe !!
Reviewed by: マハロハ, 2023/12/19先ずは、満点の満天プラネタリウム。ハレアカラ山頂までの道程は、日の出＆ダウンヒルに備え仮眠、なんてことはもったいない！ハイテンションのガイド兼ドライバーの話も大切ですが、窓越しの夜空は、宝石箱をひっくり返した星、星、星、時に流れ星！北斗七星、カシオペア、オリオン！オリオンのお腹にこんなに星があるの、と感動！
次に、御来光。心洗われます！雲海が漂うなか、燦々とSUNRISE、ベクトル一致でしょうね。日の出待ちのすべての人が待ちわびた御来光に感動してた瞬間です。北風と太陽じゃないけど、極寒に耐えた後、心身共にホットになります。で、極寒対策ですが、決して肌の露出をされないように！目の周り以外は、ソックス、レッグウォーマー、手袋、マスクと完全防備をオススメします。
最後に、ダウンヒル。私はジェットコースター♪走り出したら止まらないよ♪爽快なサイクリングです。壮大な景観を眺めながら、もちろん安全運転は言うまでもありませんが、ペダルは必要？って感じで、知らず知らずのうちにマウイの風になってます。
ここまでコメントして、星５つでなく、星４つにした理由は以下です。ダウンヒルが、まさしくジェットコースターなんです。僅か10分かな、あっという間なんでよね、ここが少し残念。説明にある昼食後のサイクリングも無かったのが物足りないです。今回、同じコースを２本繰り返したこともありますが、同じジェットコースター２回より、ジェットコースターとバイキング的な異なるアトラクションを望んでしまうので、昼食後のペダルを漕いでも良いので、街並みのサイクリングタイムが欲しかったですね～。

Maui fun time
Reviewed by: Steve and Alli, 2023/03/29The trip was great. Roy our driver was knowledgeable about so many things and share it all with us. We learned a lot about the island, food, and couture.
It too bad we had to load the bikes in a trailer and get in the vehicle because we were not allowed to ride through the neighborhood area.
Sunrise was beautiful, bike ride down was fun.
Great experience.

Great way to see a beautiful sunrise and cruise down a volcano!!!
Reviewed by: The Wilsfords, 2021/06/23As part of our 25th anniversary week in Maui we booked this early morning excursion. It certainly did not disappoint. The tour guides were informative and courteous. They took us to the best spot for the sunrise, got a great action shot of us “jumping off” The side of the volcano.
We were given great instructions as to how to get back to the bike shop. We had a nice time leisurely coming down. Stopped at a really nice spot for breakfast then proceeded into the town did some shopping grab a snack at the bakery and got back to the shop in plenty of time.

Self-Guided Haleakala Biking Tour - Sunrise & Morning Adventures by Bike Maui
Exhilarating!
Reviewed by: Tim, 2020/02/08I went on the self-guided tour. As an experienced cyclist this felt most appropriate. It was as-advertised meaning when they dropped you off you could literally go at your own pace and needed to navigate your way back to the bike shop. I LOVED this part of it. On the drive there the driver went over the turns with us multiple times and even quizzed us to make sure we’d all remember. I even plugged the directions in my phone but didn’t end up needing it. The driver/guide was entertaining telling us stories of the upcountry history and including jokes. Not ‘dad-jokes’ either. This guy was legit funny!!
They do supply you with rain pants and jacket along with a sweatshirt, helmet and gloves. They have all kinds of sizes. It can get really cold at the summit waiting for the sunrise though so suggest bringing your own cold weather layers as well.
I would definitely do this again!

Most beautiful way to start the day
Reviewed by: Kim Cosens , 2018/08/03What a glorious reminder of God’s creation. The sunrise was beyond my description. Watching the many colors gradually appearing and the clouds shifting and changing was amazing.
Be sure to take warmer clothes than you think you will need. I would guess it was around 10 degrees with the windchill and you need to be able to stand patiently for an hour or more in that weather.
The zip line was a really fun way to end the day as the guys were cheery and helped keep it fun. I would do this tour again!

Not good
Reviewed by: Disappointed, 2018/04/28The skyline was the only good activity. The Hawaiian guides were the best and so handsome. The food was awful. The bike was dangerous for teens. The sunrise was a disaster. Oh the driver was educated and knowledgeable but the information was given at 2:00 am when all participants we're half sleep.
Mahalo for your review! We are disappointed to hear the weather and food were not favorable that day. We are glad to hear that SKYLINE knocked it out of the park with our guides and Zipline. Please come back and see us again!

Reviewed by: Terri S., 2017/10/21Beautiful views! I am not very good on a bike at all and this was very easy for me. I actually wish we had gone a little faster. My husband who is an expert on a bike found it extremely slow. But we had fun. We left the group about 2/3 of the way down and we had the zip lining adventure. At first I was disappointed we didn't go all the way down. But another rider told me we did the best part. The zip lining was fabulous!!! A great day.

The Oppegard Haleakla Sunrise Bike & Skyline tour
Reviewed by: Kayleen , 2015/11/29We enjoyed the Sunrise and Downhill Bike tour, but a mix up was done on the Zipline and we missed out on the 5 line Zipline tour. The company made it up to us by offering an eight line or the 4 zip and dip line. We had to wait until the afternoon for the Zip and Dip, which was enjoyable, but I really wanted the Indiana Jones type bridge and the pendulum zipline. The staff on all three advents were excellant. They worked hard to make sure that all of the participants were safe and enjoying themselves. Once they found out that we were suppose to be on the 5 line Zipline tour, they worked hard to make it right.
