I have hiked Kalalau Trail, stayed Ko ke e state park, took a boat tour to Na Pali coast and tried to see the coast line from all the angle. This Air tour is definitely one of the addition to it. By looking at the coast line from sky gives me more history of how the structure was created.

It was great view with a nice perfect weather with a good tour guide/pilot. He was very informative about buildings, natures, movie sites, tourist information, etc.

This air tour was more affordable than a tour with helicopters. It is a really nice addition to a budget traveler who want to see the island from sky, expanding the scope.

Kayaking the Hanalei River was magestic! The tour guides were fun and interesting and knowledgable! When we got to the snorkeling place, it seemed like it would be good - lots of reef, but then it was not as good as it seemed. I think the reef was too high in the sense that you could only snorkel around the coral, not above it as I'm used to, so if you don't find the "channel" (there are several false leads/dead-ends) then you may get stuck on top of the coral which means you may have to step on it, which you're not supposed to do! This is particularly challenging with children. The gear was all one-size-fits-no-one really well. I thought there would be children's sized gear so we didn't bother bringing the cheap children's gear that we purchased earlier in the week - I thought the tour would have better gear. All-in-all, we barely snorkeled! But otherwise, the tour was lovely!

Highly recommend this! We had so much fun, the view was breathtaking. My family enjoyed it and by far the best experience ever. Our pilot was amazing and so knowledgeable about everything. He did an awesome job with educating us about the island. If you ever are in Kauai please don’t miss this amazing experience.

When I knew I was bringing my kids to Kauai, this was the number one experience I wanted to share with them. I had done a similar flight over 25 years ago with my family and had never forgotten it. We booked the flight easily through Veltra (when trying to book all our experiences in one website).
From the moment we got to the offices their staff were friendly and their safety protocol was top notch (which also included Covid safety restrictions as well while we were there). They fit my family of three with another couple and off we went. The views were breathtaking! It was so hard to believe that views you can usually only see in a movie or TV show we’re playing out before your very eyes. I will never forget passing by Jurassic park waterfall with the soundtrack playing in my ears. I love things like that!
The pilot was constantly telling us about different things we were seeing telling us what to expect in the rest of the trip as far as directions. She was also very attentive and offered to fly back a smoother route when unfortunately one of my kids did have side effects from the motion.
I can’t wait to go again and maybe I will try there helicopters on the various different islands. It is an unforgettable experience and so worth the money. I wish we would’ve bought our DVD now!

i really wanted to do this experience but definitely afraid of airplanes in general, Pilot Bruce just helped so much in making it a wonderful experience, feeling us safe and at the same time giving us a awesome tour around Kauai !

We loved this very intimate experience. Personalized throughout the tour. The pilot/owner asked us about ourselves and incorporated our stories the entire trip. The views are amazing! Very safe!! Fun!! Interactive!! Worth every penny and Very affordable! Highly recommend!!!

We had a superb experience with our tour specially with our tour guide Domi who entertained us well. He’s excellent and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this company and if possible look for Domi!!!

As everyone has mentioned, the commentary was in English, so I think I could have enjoyed it more if I understood it. It was a good experience, but the price was high. The footage I saw on TV from a helicopter was amazing, so I felt it was either as I imagined or even below that. After experiencing it once, I think I'm good. I now wonder if it would have been more thrilling to ride in a helicopter without doors.

いい体験ではありましたが、金額が高い。
以前テレビで見たヘリコプターからの映像が素晴らしかったので、想像していた通りかそれ以下だと思ってしまいました。
一回体験したらもういいかな。
ドアなしのヘリコプターに乗れば迫力あったのかも、と今は思っています。

This was our groups favorite activity. The scenery was breathtaking! Our driver was ver knowledgable and so good to make sure we each got a good look at everything. The ride was nice and smooth. Highly recommend this activity!!

This was an amazing tour. Everyone in our group had a great experience. The pilot was knowledgeable, funny and an overall great guide for the trip. I highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters.

Completely changed my perception of the island. Couldn’t imagine anyone coming to Kauai and not doing this. I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it.

Great way to see the island. Marty was an excellent pilot and tour guide. First time on a helicopter and the ride was smoother than expected. Highly recommend especially early in vacation to get a feel for the island.

We wanted to give this tour 4.5 stars but couldn't. We really enjoyed the sights and the information that our guide Steve provided. He was attentive, informative, and entertaining. One suggestion would be to have a bottle of water available for each tour guest.

This was an amazing tour!!! A first for us both and would do it again in a heartbeat!!! We had Guy as our pilot and he was amazing!! He knew so much about the island we had a hard time finding questions to ask. This is a must when you come to Kauai. This company is great as well. The only thing that happened was our video didn't get us landing but the staff did discount our video and I had videotaped our landing so we did get a bit of it though. We went with another couple ad they enjoyed it as well.

A warm rain fell, off and on during our float up the river, but since we were going to get wet anyhow, it didn't matter. Our guides, Web and Dan, were very attentive and funny. And knowledgeable about what we were seeing along the way.

One thing that was different from our expectation, but didn't matter too much, was that since the road past Hanalei is closed indefinitely due to a storm, the guides had to park and load things in different spots than normal, which added to the walk to the beach.

I would recommend this trip to anyone who likes fun flatwater kayaking, and great snorkeling on the north coast of Kaua'i.

Our very first helicopter ride could not have been better. Three days later we're still in awe! Thank you, Pilot Marty, for a smooth, humorous, and informative ride.

This tour was simply amazing!! Our pilot JT was experienced and knowledgeable. He put all of our fears at ease. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The aerial views of the Na Pali Coast took my breath away. I recommend this tour to everyone who wants to see all the beauty of Kauai. It was truly worth every penny.

This airplane tour was perfect from start to finish. The friendly staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our pilot JT was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He put all of our fears at ease. The one hour plus flight allowed us to see all of Kauai coasts. We saw many waterfalls, the Pacific Grand Canyon and the beautiful Na Pali Coast. It literally took my breath away!!! I highly recommend this tour to everyone!! Mahalo!!

It was wasted money. We drove with the guides 45min to Hanalei. There we walked relatively long along the public beach to the kayaks and started to kayak in the river next corner. Nothing spectacular and you can see everything from the road. After about 1 hour kayaking they brought us to a dead reef in front of a hotel where you can go by yourself as well.

There is no other way to see Kauai than from
above. There is so much of the island you can only see from above. I highly recommend doing it. This is our 2nd time here but 1st time seeing it from above. It is totally worth the money. Plus they are the only ones that let my 6 yr old on. After the ride, my wife and I looked at each other and couldn’t believe no other helicopter rides allowed him on it.

After a friendly and efficient introduction we had a phantastic flight with Marcus. He told us lots of facts about the spots and answered every question. Because of a windowseat everyone had a great possibility to take photos
We total recommend this tour. It was really outstanding.

Airplane ride was amazing. We were able to see parts of the island you can't via car.

Our initial tour was canceled due to weather. The staff was very accommodating for us to be able to reschedule. Our entire family from 11 yrs old to adults really enjoyed this trip. The pilot was knowledgeable and shared lots of history and fun facts about the island. It was defiantly a trip we were all happy we took.

I had been seeing and hearing about this wonderful scenery on TV, but I was moved to be able to see it with my own eyes. Thanks to Pilot Mr. Darren's English and his witty explanations in Japanese, I forgot my pre-flight anxiety, relaxed, and the time flew by. I will share a few experiences I had while participating in this tour for your reference.

1. It takes about 10 minutes (1 km) to walk from Lihue Airport to the Blue Hawaiian office. (I used the Kauai bus from my hotel for reference.)
2. When you open the entrance door, the reception is right in front. You will state your name at the reception counter. Next, you will weigh yourself, and the scale is located right under the mat where you are standing. (They seemed to explain something, but I couldn't catch it well.)
3. They will inform you of the start time for the tour explanation.
4. The explanation about the tour (safety) is done with a projector, and they provide subtitles for foreigners. At the end of the initial orientation, they will ask if anyone needs it, so I said "Japanese." (I missed hearing it.)
5. After the projector explanation, you will be informed of your seat position in the helicopter you will be riding.
6. After the tour, you can purchase a USB memory with the day's flight images (with audio) at the reception counter. It was $40.

テレビで見聞きしていましたが、この素晴らしい景観をこの目で見ることができて感動の時間を過ごせました。Pilot（Mr.ダレン）さんの英語と軽妙な日本語での説明で、飛行前の不安を忘れ、リラックスでき、あっという間の時間でした。このツアーに参加するにあたって経験したことを少し、記載しますので参考にしてください。
１. リフエ空港からBlue Hawaiiann事務所まで徒歩で約10分（1㎞）くらい。
　　（ホテルからカウアイバスを利用したので参考まで）
２．入口ドアを開けると、正面に受付。受付カウンターで名前を告げます。次に、当日の体重を測ることになるのですが、ちょうど自分が立っている足マットの下が、体重計になっています。（何やら説明されていたようですが、よく聞き取れませんでした。）
3.　ツアーについての説明開始時間を教えてくれます。
4.　ツアーについての説明（安全）は、プロジェクターで行われますが、外国人向けに字幕を付けてくれます。最初のオリエンテーションの最後に必要な人は、と問われるので、”Japanese”。（私は、聞き逃しました。）
5.プロジェクターでの説明後に、自分の乗るヘリコプターの座席位置が知らされます。
6.ツアー終了後、受付カウンターで当日のフライト画像（音声付き）のUSBメモリーを購入できます。40でした。

It was a good way to check out some of the sites of movie scenes from Kauai. Relaxing and no stress, if that’s what you seek. Jonna was great, providing more of a local perspective and was also one of the founders of this movie tour. However note that due to recent flooding, tour won’t bring you to Hanalei Pier.

This was a wonderful tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, affable, and considerate.

Blue Hawaii helicopter tour was Awesome! Brodie, our pilot was friendly and very knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to catch a break in the weather and see some sights which had no been accessible for 48hrs. I felt so lucky! A great flight is always subject to the weather. Would definitely fly with them again!!
