The Waimea Canyon & Fern Grotto tour is a signature tour when visiting Kauai! Polynesian tours does a good job of connecting you with the core highlights of this most remarkable experience. Truly a memorable experience.

Our pilot Brody was exceptional. His knowledge of the island was amazing and his narrative along with the music made the flight come alive.
We got to see many of the landmarks on the island and amazing views of coast especially Na Pali.
We would do this again in a heartbeat :)

Guide and tour was excellent however being dropped at a mall for lunch was extremely disappointing. I would have paid more to get a local experience

Fern grotto was a lovely trip down the river ending up at fern grotto was like a rain forest the whole experience was great the people were very knowledgeable and the boat cruise ack they sang all the way back and taught us to hula which was interesting

We were in Awe when we saw Waimea Canyon, most unforgettable sight so far and for the record we have seen Grand Canyon as well. the tour package itself is great, our driver is awesome forgot his name already ( sorry) he makes sure that each and everyone needs are met. Love the fact that we were picked up right in front of our hotel. I just wished tho that the Fern Grotto is as nice as in the pictureExtra treat that we also enjoy is the short hula performance...

This was our first flight in a small plane my wife and I found it was a fantastic experience there was only the two of us plus Harry our pilot who was brilliant with his knowledge the views over Kauai were brilliant we really came off the flight buzzing. The whole Process was Very well organised from start to finish
We would really recommend this way to see the island

The Japanese tour was canceled due to a lack of participants. In a hurry, I searched and signed up for this tour. Everyone else was from English-speaking countries, and there were a few solo travelers as well. The comfortable bus that the tour advertised was indeed as described. It was equipped with air conditioning and was very comfortable. However, I think it would be difficult to enjoy this tour without a certain level of English proficiency. Also, since tips are not included in the participation fee, this might be a bit of a concern for Japanese participants. Other than that, the overall time allocation for the trip was well-organized, making it an excellent tour.

日本語でのツアーが参加者人数不足のため欠旅。急遽、探して申し込んだのが、このツアーでした。私以外、英語圏の参加者でした。一人参加の方も数名いました。このツアーの売りにしている、快適なバス⇒そのとおりでした。エアコン完備で、快適そのものでした。ただ、英語力ある程度ないと、このツアーを楽しむことが無理かと思います。あと、参加料にチップ含まれてないので、日本人にはその点がちょっと・・・って思われるかも。それ以外は、全体的な旅行の時間配分がしっかりしており、申し分ないツアーです。

Great tour as far as it went. The river cruise to Fern Grotto was cancelled due to high river levels. When people asked the driver about reimbursement for the cancelled cruise, he responded with some thing like, "You can phone the company and ask for a partial reimbursement, but don't get your hopes up if it doesn't happen." I think it indicates that the driver just wasn't properly informed about how to deal with the situation, Great driver otherwise, and full of lots of info. It would have been fun to talk with him in an informal setting.

Hi, The helicopter tour is a must when visiting the island!

Excellent! Our pilot, Scotty was very Iinformative and friendly. He interacted with each passenger on the flight. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the folklore.

Incredible. I've been to 40 countries and 6 continents and had countless adventure - I think this may be the most amazing thing I've ever done. If you're on the fence, go for it! Sell blood if you have to, you will not be sorry. Unless you don't do it, then you will realize in the twilight of your years something is missing from your life. Something you can't quite put your finger on - but I'm warning you now - it would be this trip. Give yourself a hand and go. Spectacular views - and I was in the middle seat. Window would have been nice, but it's great from the middle too.

I thought opportunities to ride in a Cessna are rare, so even though I don't understand much English, I signed up considering the time constraints. The office is a short walk from the airport. When I went to the reception, they confirmed my reservation and explained the course. I weighed in while carrying my luggage, and when it was time, we boarded the plane. Everyone on board wore headsets and checked their microphones. You can see the entire island and enjoy the beautiful scenery, but it shakes in the cloudy parts, so motion sickness medication is a must! Even my friend, who usually doesn't get motion sick, was feeling quite groggy by the time we landed. Still, I felt it was a great experience that I would only have once in a lifetime. It was fun!

セスナに乗る機会なんてそうそうないと思い、英語はあまり分かりませんが時間との兼ね合いも有り申し込みしました。空港から少し歩いた所にオフィスがあります。受付に行くと予約者の確認とコースの説明をされ、荷物を持ったまま体重測定をし、時間になったら乗り込みます。機内では全員ヘッドセット？を装着しマイクの確認をします。島の全貌が良くわかり、美しい景色を堪能出来ますが、雲の部分で揺れるので酔い止めは必須です！！普段酔わない友達も降りる頃にはかなりグロッキーになってしまっていました。
それでも一生に一回の良い体験をしたと思いました。楽しかったです。

This trip was terrible, expensive, and boring. With false advertisement. We were on time waiting for the bus, but it came an hour and thirty minutes later. It was ridiculous they called 3 times saying to be on time, but they were late themselves! Our guide was very bad. All he told us was the name of the attraction not the history. The bus was huge but his mic didn't work. All he had to do was change the batteries but even at a stop he didn't take the time to change them. He just was talking with other people. We could have done this with our own car and taken our time! PLEASE don't waste your money and time on this trip!!! Explore your self and take your time!!!!!!!!!

I saw waterfalls and mountains and the Na'Pali Coast. It was pretty awesome.

I had never been in a helicopter before so I was a little nervous. There was a bit of confusion on my reservation,(they had the wrong date) but the voucher was correct and soon straightened out. Blue Hawaiian has a very nice facility, an actual building not like some others using tents. The helicopter was very clean and up to date. The pilot, Mark, did a great job of narrating the entire time. Now for the view, spectacular is the best word to describe it. Most of the island is not able to be seen via car or even boat. The only real way to see it is by air and Blue Hawaiian puts you right up and personal to most of mountains, craters, valleys and waterfalls. I had the time of my life and would do it again, no question. If you are considering a helicopter adventure don't wait, just do it you'll be glad. Veltra's voucher was accepted. Thanks to Veltra and Blue Hawaiian for making my dream vacation complete.

Best way to see all the highlights of Kauai! Incredible scenery...top notch helicopters too!

We enjoyed the tour, however it was distracting to have the driver singing over the music video and playlist. No one in our group enjoyed that at all and would have rather heard local commentary, island history, or just the recorded artist's voice.
The canyon scenery, boat ride, and fern grotto were beautiful and amazing.

There are bags available on board in case you feel nauseous, and they also provide instructions on how to deal with motion sickness before the flight. So, for those who are sensitive, I think taking motion sickness medication would make for a more comfortable journey in the sky.

To be honest, it does shake quite a bit, and although the sensation is brief, it feels like a roller coaster several times. I was able to enjoy my time without any issues, taking in the views of Kauai Island from above.

However, for someone like me with very low English comprehension, I understood about 90% of the guide's explanations (laughs). Putting aside my lack of knowledge, I think I would have enjoyed it even more if there had been a Japanese brochure for Kauai Island.

機内に酔った時のために袋が常備されていますし、飛ぶ前の説明でも酔った時の対処方法を教えられます。なので弱い方は酔い止めを飲まれたほうが快適に空の旅を過ごせると思います。
正直けっこう揺れますし、ジェットコースターのような感覚が短いですが何度もあります。
私は問題なく快適に過ごせましたので、空から見るカウアイ島を満喫できました。
ただ英語の理解能力が非常に低い私にとって、ガイドの方の説明は90％分かりませんでした　（笑）
自分の教養のなさを棚に上げますが、カウアイ島の日本語パンフレットがあればもっと楽しめたかな。

The view of the remote ocean that can only be seen from the sky is unique to helicopters. It feels like catching a glimpse of the primordial Earth, and it's wonderful.

Unfortunately, I ended up sitting on the inside of the back seat, but the person in the front row was almost in a tank top, so their skin reflected on the glass and appeared in all my photos. I would appreciate it if the front row passengers could be given black jackets, as other companies do, for consideration.

原始地球を垣間見たようで、素晴らしい。

運悪く後部座席の中側になってしまったが、前列の人がタンクトップに近い状態だったので、肌がガラスに反射して全ての写真に写り込んだ。前列の人には、他社が行っているように、黒色のジャケットを着せるなど、配慮が欲しい。

We had our first flight cancelled. So it was worth the wait. Beth was our pilot. She is a third generation pilot with her grandmother being first. She has 11 yrs of experience. She answered all questions. She explained every place that she flew over.

All 4 of us able to have window seats of the beautiful island.

It was the ride of a lifetime! We all enjoyed it and the scenery was great. Interesting narrative as well

This was an exceptional experience. Easily one of the highlights of our two weeks in Hawaii!

The hike was a little challenging but it was worth it to see the amazing views of the canyon. Sitting atop the waterfall for lunch was icing on the cake! Our guide was great as well.

The bus went with broke down when we were at Waimea canyon that gave us more time to spend at the beautiful Waimea canyon at the expense of missing the lunch. In spite of this we enjoyed every bit of it. The guide/driver did a nice job of keeping us engaged all the time.

We had a group of 17 people, teens, seniors, and adults are three separate flights. Each of us had a great time. The Blu-Hawii Helicopter's service is excellent in accommodating the complicated weather conditions, and pilots are extraordinary in knowledge and experience. The flight is very smooth and the scenic view is extrodinary. Thank you blue -Hawaii helicopter.

The Fern Grotto was a guided tour, which I did not realize when we signed up. The boat ride up the river was nice. The guide pointed out various places along the river. Your time is very limited at the Grotto. The guides there rush you along to the site, explain the grotto, sing, and then you are rushed out. I wanted to explore the trail a bit and take photos so that was disappointing.
