This was my first luau and I was impressed! We had a very nice cruise to the fern grotto first which seamlessly ended right before the luau entrance time began. The location from the dock to the entrance was also very close by. The whole evening was seamlessly organized. We had a time to get there, get cocktails, watch the unearthing of the pig, then get the buffet. They let people know when to go to the buffet so it wasn’t a swarm. Love the limited open bar as well! People also were handing out drinks on trays so the bar line wasn’t an issue. I am vegetarian and since I specified ahead of time they gave a separate plate as well for me. The plate seems to be suitable for vegans as well. I was so full! I like the high chair for my toddler because it has a good table for him that was also removable. There is also an orchid garden and other gardens to walk or take a tram around to see. The show was also spectacular. Great transitions and dancing! Mahalo for a great night!

We had the greatest time on this adventure! All the guides were great! We had Nick, Noah, and Braydon, but everyone involved with the tour was friendly, funny, and shared lots of information about the island. They made sure we were safe and having fun. They are a great crew and work hard. Wanted to do it all over again!

We had Mark as a pilot and he was awesome! Very personable, informative, and had a great sense of humor. We got to see the whole island except for one canyon due to cloud cover. Would love to do it again!

Amazing tour with lava caves, hundreds of dolphins, sea turtles, a whale shark and gorgeous scenery! Best thing we did in Hawaii!

Absolutely incredible views of the beautiful Na Pali coastline. Captain did a great job of keeping it as smooth sailing as possible. There were some choppier parts of the journey, but we were pre-warned as they came up. The views were totally worth it! We even got to see rainbows over the coastline. As the seas were fairly calm, we were even able to see inside the edge of a cave. The crew were friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were fantastic too. On the return journey we were treated to views of the stunning sunset over the ocean. Would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed this sightseeing tour, with driver & guide, Kaleo. He was helpful, informative and hilarious! Stories, quips and jokes all day long. We even learned how to pronounce "humuhumunukunukuapua`a"! We saw some highlights of the beautiful island of Kaua`i including the spouting horn blow hole and we were lucky enough to get a clear view of the waimea canyon, before the clouds rolled in! We had a tasty lunch at chicken in a barrell and sampled delicious coffee at the Kaua`i coffee plantation. The trail at the state park is very short and the order of the stops is different to that listed on the veltra site, but regardless we would 100% recommend this tour.

The performance was really colorful and the live music was a plus. The place is really pretty and well kept. All the people there were really nice! I highly recommend the experience. (We didn't do the whole Luau since we are vegan and we figured the meal experience wasn't for us)

Holo Holo Charters exceeded my expectations for this boat cruise. I think bedsides the Napali coast, the most impressive thing about the experience was the professionalism and attentiveness of the charter crew! They were incredible to attend to everyone’s needs and made sure everyone had a great time. This was the highlight of our trip to Kauai. The mountains and coast were absolutely incredible and worth the trip and $. The dinner was also very yummy and authentic. Only feedback: it was a bit hard to hear the captains story telling when standing on the sides of the boat… maybe more speakers or louder volume? Overall, incredible experience to see the coast and be taken care of by a great staff!

This excursion was amazing. I enjoyed every part of it. The kayaking was a serene adventure, the hiking was fun and the waterfall was a sight to behold. Our tour guide was awesome and engaging. I definitely recommend this tour.

We did the 7:30am tour and am glad we got out before it got too busy on the trail. I had never kayaked before but our guide, Garrett or "G" was able to answer any questions I had and I was quickly put at ease.
The kayaking up to the trail was good and the river not too busy. The trail was around a mile or so. We knew from the pictures that there's a crossing over water but we weren't aware there were about 4 each way and that one was about hip height. It was fine, we were just taken aback a bit.
Some of the trail was muddy, some was boarded walkways and some was literally clambering over jagged rocks. Wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues!
We only had around 40 minutes at the sacred falls, which was a shame. A little longer would've been better.
A highlight was meeting a little shama thrush that G had befriended.
The trail back seemed muddier due to the amount of folk on the trail.
The kayak back was a little harder as we were going against the flow of the river, but overall it was an incredible experience.

A beautiful property and well organized event. Everyone was friendly, the food was delicious and the show was spectacular! You can’t visit Kauai without attending Smith’s Tropical Paradise.

These people made the difference on our trip

We had a lot of fun doing this. The route is well laid out; the way it's designed, you'll do a lot of bumping and spinning from one end to the other. It was easy to engage with other participants. The crew was funny and went out of their way to get you to laugh. You do get wet but you don't get dunked and it's not too cold. A great way to spend an hour or two!

My husband and I loved this tubing adventure. The setting was pristine far away from any development. A fun ride through the property to reach the entrance was interesting and the commentary from the tour guide was informative and entertaining. Then into the refreshing water. Sometimes calm and other times exciting and fast moving. Five tunnels with your “head lamps “ on!!! It was truly the most fun we have had on the island. Worth every penny!!!!

Great time tubing with an excellent staff! Kai (?), Hank, sharia and the others were fantastic!!!

The cruise to the grotto was good. Interesting history of the Smith family discussed on river boat. Scenery is good and the grotto is in a very lush location. The folks are very nice and accommodating. We chose the river cruise to be at the Luau on time.

Great location for a Luau. On the beach, cultural events, beautiful sunset, good food, talented performers. Great show!

We enjoyed the views as well as the stories and entertainment. Great family!

We enjoyed the whole experience. The drive up was beautiful and we loved stopping for pics. The tubing adventure was great and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Lunch afterwards was perfect! Would recommend for families, just dress appropriately and know what your children can handle.

Absolutely amazing tour, loved our crew. Absolutely amazing views and saw so many dolphins.

This was a great tour and glad I chose the small airplane ride versus helicopter. Our tour guide was very informative and took note that most of us loved the waterfalls so it appeared he concentrated on this piece with extra attention. There was 6 of us in the group which was the entire plane. Two small children. Our 6 year old was extremely excited and loved the tour. She did get a bit warm in the plane towards the end. Glad we booked this tour!!!

My family enjoyed a wonderful day touring the Na Pali coast line. Captain Mike and his crew made their guests feel welcome, safe and part of the family. The bonus for me was the historic and cultural connection of the Mike and his crew to the land. We saw a mama whale and her calf up close. This excursion was the highlight of our vacation.

My wife and I went on this six years ago and had a great time. We were in Kauai with the whole family. I told them that this was a must do The whole family fro 74 to 8 years had an enjoyable time. Outstanding activity.

This was so much fun. Our guides Cousin Ryan and Merlin were amazing!! Very knowledgeable and informative! We learned so much about the ranch and Hawaii! Loved riding in the 4x4’s! Views were magnificent!!!

I was especially grateful to the female crew member who did her best to help when one of my companions got seasick. The meals served during the cruise were also delicious and satisfying. Thank you very much.

We were also lucky enough to experience whale watching. Since it was getting late in the season, I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be a fortunate experience.

途中運よくホエールウォッチングも体験できました。そろそろ季節外れになる時期故、期待していなかったのですが、幸運でした。

We didn't want anything too strenuous and this was perfect. A relaxing easy kayak down a wide river with beautiful views along the way. The hike was a bit slick and muddy but was fine with water shoes. My wife used a stick we found along the way for balance. The hike was easy and very pretty. The swimming hole is not under the falls like I pictured in my mind. The swimming hole with rope swing is before the falls. The guides were super - as friendly as can be, knowledgeable about the history and nature, and very helpful with getting into and out of kayaks, directions etc etc. They also had fun personalities and attitudes. All in all a great tour!

Tubing was really fun! It was pouring rain and we still had a great time! Noah was an amazing tour guide.

Our tour guides were awesome! We had a great time. The views were great and the tour guides did a really good job explaining the history of the land.
I got about 30 mosquito bites at the Waterfall... so bring your bug spray!

It was a great time. Really enjoyed it It was our birthday week and we had the best time. The boat ride, the songs, the hula dance was spot on.

I was excited to experience the natural beauty of Kauai by kayak and hike. What I wasn't expecting was to learn so much about the history and culture of the Wailua Valley, Wailua River, and Sacred Waterfalls. Our entire group felt like the tour was more a group of friends than a standard follow the leader tour. This was in no small part due to our fantastic tour guide, Izzy. I'd recommend asking for her.
