This was a pretty nice and easy way to spend an afternoon. It was quite warm but the breeze on the boat was lovely. We went with young kids and it was a nice time. Would recommend!

Im not sure what we were expecting, but this surely exceeded our expectations! The timing of everything was great, lots to see and do. The food was delicious and the drinks were good. We opted for the train and I would highly recommend- especially if you are with kids. It was a nice easy evening ride through the ranch, farm, and orchards.
The show at the end of the night was also a favorite! Lots of quick paced action and dancing. Got to hang in till the end for the fire dancing!
A lovely way to spend the evening. And a real treat at the end of a trip.

Nice relaxing ride down the Wailua River with a short, easy walk to the Grotto. Learning about the history of the boats and the area was very special, as well as having the Hawaiian music and dancing on the boat. The pilot was witty and made a couple of cute jokes. Definitely recommend for families or as an alternative for more strenous activities, or just as a nice cool break from the hot days.

We participated as a family of four (two adults and two elementary school children). We took a boat to the Fern Cave. During the round trip on the boat, there were explanations, songs, and dances about the Fern Cave, which were enjoyable. However, everything was in English, so there were parts we didn't understand. Visiting the Fern Cave on January 1st made us feel a sense of sacredness.

シダの洞窟までは船で行きます。往復の船の中では、シダの洞窟の説明や歌、ダンスなどがあり楽しめます。ただし、すべて英語なので、わからないところもありました。
１月１日にシダの洞窟に行けて、神聖な気持ちになりました。

We absolutely loved the Smith Family Luau and the show! Upon arrival we were greeted with warm smiles and small shell leis, took a Family photo and hopped on a shuttle for a tour of the grounds. After the shuttle ride was over we were able to walk about the property, feed the birds, and enjoy the gorgeous grounds. The emu Ceremony was wonderful. We especially liked the stories and history told by the host of the Laua and the Polynesian & Fire Dance after the dinner. The dances being performed over the water made it new and exciting for our family. We will definitely be back if we ever get the chance to visit Kauai again. Mahalo.

During the round-trip cruise, we enjoyed the captain's guidance, Hawaiian music, and dance. Upon arrival, the sacred scenery brought peace to my heart. The announcements were all in English, but I could understand them well enough to enjoy the experience. After arriving on Kauai, I booked the tour online for a day that looked like good weather. It's a tour with great cost performance. I highly recommend it.

往復のクルージング中は船長の案内やハワイアンミュージック、ダンスで盛り上がりました。到着後は神聖な景色に心が安らぎます。案内は全て英語ですが、なんとなく分かるので楽しめましたよ。カウアイ島着いてから天気の良さそうな日にネットで申し込みました。コストパフォーマンスが良いツアーです。お奨めです。

Great family run business. Old fashioned fun. Cultural tourism in a good way. Nice friendly people. Would recommend.

Please note that the map guidance is not accurate. You can check in by providing your name at the ticket booth near the Wailua River boat launch. By the way, I was able to ride the bicycle I borrowed from the hotel and park it there.

About the tour:
On the boat, there was a sightseeing guide (historical explanation), and we all stood up and danced to Hawaiian music, creating a cheerful atmosphere. It's enjoyable even if you participate alone. I don't know what it was like when we could enter the fern cave, so compared to that, the fern volume seems a bit lacking, but it was still a good tour.

地図の案内とずれているので注意です。ワイルアリバーボート乗り場のチケット売り場のところで名前を伝えれば受付できます。ちなみに、ホテルで借りた自転車でいき、停めることができました。

ツアーについて
ボートでは観光案内（歴史説明）もあったり、ハワイアンミュージックでみんなで立ち上がって踊ったり、陽気な雰囲気で過ごせました。1人参加でも楽しめます。シダの洞窟の中に入れた当時を知らないので、それに比較するとシダボリュームが貧弱のようですが、それでも良いツアーでした。

We loved the plane ride, checking in was smooth, they took pictures of us with the plane which was nice, and the employee and pilot were very friendly and helpful. We booked last minute but we felt welcomed nonetheless. The plane ride had a smooth take off and landing. And of course, the view was so amazing along with the pilot telling us all about Kauai!

Authentic experience, the crew really goes extra to explain hawaiian histories!

Paired this with the luau and a great way to start the evening at Smiths!

We participated as a couple. The river cruise was fun with hula dancing and Hawaiian music. However, the fern cave lacked impact and was somewhat unappealing. I would like to participate in your tours again in the future.

リバークルーズの方は、フラダンスあり、ハワイアン音楽ありで楽しかったです。
肝心のシダの洞窟は、余り迫力がなく魅力に乏しかったです。
また今後も貴社のツアーに参加したいと思います。

This cruise was great with our 18 month old. The boats are wide and spacious and have great visibility on any seat. We enjoyed the commentary and singing while we rode -- and barely noticed the rain.

The short walk to the fern grotto was lovely and lush. Not to mention the grotto itself. We learned more about the traditions of the place and watch a Hula performance of a love song. The guides did not rush us through the walk and were very warm and friendly.

Recommend -- especially if you have young children and need something fun to do with them. My son loved the boat ride!

Good performance given sever flooding one day before cruise.

Great luau! A little late for our 3 and 5 year old (no dinner, just the show). But they slept on the benches with our jackets and we were able to enjoy the show. Next time, I would plan this later in the trip than our 2nd night so the kids could have enjoyed it more. Jet lag was tough on the little ones!

This is a tour where you can enjoy both a river cruise and a visit to the Fern Cave. At the Fern Cave, you'll do a bit of walking, which allows you to enjoy a forest bath, and you can fully appreciate the nature of Kailua.

リバークルーズとシダの洞窟観光の1つで2回楽しめるツアーです。シダの洞窟では少し歩くので森林浴にもなり、カイルアの自然を思う存分楽しめました。

The meal was lacking in authentic Hawaiian foods. The drinks were too sweet.

The cruise was very relaxing and informative about the hawaiian culture as you make your way to the fern grotto thru some of the most beautiful views, you also will enjoy some beautiful singing and dancing as you cruise to a beautiful waterfalls.

The Smith family really made you feel like “Ohana”. They were very welcoming and embraced and welcomed each and every guest with a pooka lai; photo, tram tour, exhibition on how pig was prepared and cooking process; unlimited buffet style meal with authentic cultural entrees, desserts and “poi”; and evening entertainment.

When I think of a Luau, I think of the movie with Adam Sandlin, Jennifer Aniston, and Nicole Kidman in Just Go With It - in Maui.

The Luau we attended here was different than my expectations. The arboretum on the property was beautiful and full of a variety of plants, trees, animals, and some sea life.

The buffet style food approach was ok, but nothing exceptional unfortunately.

After dinner, there was a show to reflect the Hawaiian history and culture through dance, which culminated in a one-man fire stick show.

Again, all okay. Probably the coolest thing to me was the fact that it's a family business of more than 5 generations. Hats off to them!

I enjoyed the cruise and found it informative. The grotto was beautiful and there were a lot of interesting plants along the jungle like walk.
My husband didn't care for it because of the amount of people on board. A bus from a cruise ship let ofF their tour people which made it pretty crowded but that is to be expected. My husband just doesn't like to be in crowds.

Fun interesting tour. Very beautiful river. The chicken were funny.

Food was better than expected, and the plantation grounds are breathtaking beauty.

Wonderful Luau show and food. The venue was beautiful and protected from any weather that might occur.

It was a magical experience despite my worries about the rainy season. There were parts of the explanation in English that I didn't understand, but I was able to participate in the hula dance and singing. It was fun!

We loved everything about this united family! They were hospitable, funny, and very entertaining. The hula dancing, singing , and history of the area was very interesting to us. We had fun from start to finish and that’s why we voted OUTSTANDING! We will definitely visit again. Mahalo!

The riverboat cruise was a great experience. The riverboat ride was gentle and relaxing. The views were exceptional. Our host gave us a background of the area, which was interesting, and also let us enjoy the peaceful silence as well. Seeing the kayakers on the river was enjoyable. My only advice would be to wear good shoes with traction. The walk up to the grotto can be a little slippery due to moisture and moss. The entertainment that took place at the destination of the grotto, was really entertaining. Enjoy the ride!
