Kauai
This Luau is the best in the islands. They only offer this Luau on Kauai, however after attending many of the Luau's on the islands, this is our favorite. The price is totally fair. The pre show, the reception at the entrance, the food and the after show are outstanding. We look forward to coming to this event every time we visit Kauai. This is a 10!!!
We have done a few other luaus on other islands, and this one really felt like Hawaii natives brought you in!

Really glad to go on this cruise. it was one of the best wonderful excursions we did in Kauai with reasonable cost. The ride to the Fern Grotto was very relaxing and the music and Hawaiian dance entertained us.

We took our family of 5 (we have 3 boys) my 8 and almost 4 year old loved it but my 2.5 yr old had a hard time. And I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I’m thinking ears not adjusting to the height or maybe even motion sickness. But he did not do good. He’s usually a very very easy going toddler. So keep that in mind if you have young children. I would love to do it again without my kids so I could enjoy the breathtaking views without stress
Guides were entertaining, knowledgeable, and funny! They shared lots of information about the land, and culture. The boat ride was smooth and relaxing up river, and fun coming back down river. The Grotto is breathtaking! Quick easy hike to and from the grotto.

Beautiful and relaxing. We had family visiting that couldn’t do a big hike, so this was perfect. The singing was such a nice touch.

Not too strenuous a walk to the fern grotto and entertainment was very good! Worth the trip!
The wide range of dances were amazing, beautiful and authentic. The dance from the Phillippines was so cute and eye-catching. The fire shows were incredible. Their skill is super-human. This was a memorable evening.

The route included Poipu Beach, Waimea Canyon, the Na Pali Coast, the North Shore, the forested areas in central Kauai, and a loop around the island of Kauai.

This was a great/relaxing experience. Nice cruise up and down the river, good historical information, and easy walk to the grotto. Well worth the time. If you have any problems walking then do not try this. The walk is short but why pay just for a boat ride? This was worth MY time and I would do it again.
On the last day of my stay in Kauai, I participated in this experience. From the welcome music upon boarding to the entertaining talks, the journey to the fern cave, the beauty of the cave, the songs and hula dances in front of the cave, and the music, singing, and hula dancing on the return boat, it was all very rich. The final solo by the female captain just before docking, with the waves, wind, flowers, and swaying leaves... the hula dance that conveyed the beauty of nature was truly breathtaking.

This river boat tour was very relaxing and enjoyable. Our guides were talented, insightful, and had a great sense of humor. The fern grotto was a lovely stroll. The live entertainment set the mood for the rest of our trip. If you are weary about going on this river boat, don’t be, it is a sweet smooth ride. Our family of 9 (all adults) had a fabulous time at this luau. The employees were great. The food was pretty descent (I’ve had some not great food at luaus in the past), but the show was spectacular! The performers were amazing and the flow and diversity of the dances and such were so entertaining. We were completely entertained the whole night.

Our pilot Marcus was wonderful! Our family of 4 got headsets so we could hear about all the landforms and points of interest we flew to. We got to see sides of the island that boats and helicopters don’t typically get to in addition to the big wow locations like the Napili coast, Waimea Canyon, remote beaches, and waterfalls. We felt totally safe the whole flight and would recommend this tour to everyone!
Large boat brings you about 30 mins down river with a tour guide speaking overhead. Our tour guide was very funny and was probably my favorite part of this activity. You’ll disembark at an area with walkways/bathroom through a lush rainforest that eventually ends at an area with a large cliff/cave. APPLY BUG SPRAY! There are lots of mosquitoes in this area.
Here you’ll get a short history of the location as well as some music/hula dancing.
You’ll head back to boat and return with more traditional ukulele music/hula dancing.
Wasn’t a fan of the music myself, but enjoyed the trip overall.
If you aren’t able to do a strenuous hike, wheelchair bound, or have small children this activity is short enough to get a taste of the scenery without the hassle of a rough walking trail.
We loved the interactiveness this luau presented, got even us old folks involved!

The river cruise was great with the Tour guides giving us the history of the island and river along with local entertainment. the Fren Grotto was also excellent as it was Our 50th Anniversary and the Grotto topped it off.
