Since I was pregnant, I had to give up hiking, but I was able to enjoy the great outdoors on this sightseeing flight tour! There were many waterfalls, and I got to see breathtaking views that I've never seen before! Also, since it was whale watching season, we were able to see several whales from the Cessna plane! The family I was with was so excited about the whales that the pilot adjusted our route to chase after them, showing how flexible and accommodating he was in the moment!

滝がたくさんあって、みたことのない絶景をたくさんみることができました！！
また、ホエールウォッチングのシーズンということもあり、セスナ機？の中からも複数のホエールを見ることができました！同乗した家族がホエールに興奮していたので、パイロットが追いかけてくれたりと、その場その場で融通がきくパイロットさんでした！

My first helicopter tour. I never imagined it would be this wonderful. It takes you to places that you can't reach by car or on foot in just one flight. I can't wait for the next opportunity.

When you think of Kauai, you think of the Na Pali Coast. The Na Pali Coast is a breathtaking view that can only be seen by boat, air, or through strenuous trekking. I went trekking, but I wanted to see the whole thing from a boat or by air, so I did some research and ultimately decided that seeing it from above would be best.

Helicopter tours were about twice the price, and boat tours were over 30,000 yen, while this one was in the 20,000 yen range, so I chose this option. Honestly, I felt that 20,000 yen was a great deal for such an amazing experience! I made the right choice!

The stunning views were overwhelming. I was worried about turbulence, but it felt just like being on a regular airplane, and I wasn't scared at all (the pilot was very skilled). Although I'm not fluent in English, the pilot was considerate and chatted with us, guiding us by saying things like, "We're right above here," which made the experience very enjoyable.

We were told to leave our bags in the car, so we weighed ourselves with just our cameras and essentials. There were five of us in total. The other three were all larger individuals, weighing around 70 to 100 kg, and it seemed like the heavier people got the front seats. There were three single seats in a row, and the back had two connected seats, which is where we sat.

In the end, I think the size of the windows and the wide view we had, being away from the wings and wheels, gave us the best angles for photos.

I heard that the mountains look beautiful in the afternoon when the sun is up, so I booked a 2:00 PM flight. The Waimea side was a bit cloudy, but it was absolutely stunning! It was great to see the places I had walked a few days earlier, like the Kalalau Trail and the Kilauea Lighthouse, from above again. I recommend doing this activity later in your trip.

I stayed in Kauai for six days, but the memories from this activity left the strongest impression on me, and I'm really glad I did it. Honestly, if you do this, you might feel satisfied enough not to do anything else. It was truly amazing! I highly recommend it!

カウアイ島といえばナパリ―コースト。ナパリ―コーストは船か飛行か過酷トレッキングでしか見ることができない絶景。トレッキングには行ったけれど、船か飛行で全体を観たいと思い色々調べていて、やっぱり上空からが良さそうだなと思い飛行を選択。
ヘリだと倍ぐらいの料金だったし、船だと3万円以上でこちらは2万円台だったのでこちらにしました。正直2万円台じゃ安いと思うぐらい最高な体験でした！こっちで大正解！

もう感動の絶景の嵐でした。揺れるかなと心配でしたが、普通の飛行機に乗ってるようなレベルでまったく怖くなかったです。（パイロットの運転がうまかった）
英語が堪能ではありませんが、パイロットが気遣って話しかけてくれたり、今ここの上空ですよ～とガイドしてくれたりしてすごく楽しめました。

カメラ以外の荷物は車に置いてね、ということで荷物は車に置いてカメラなど持って行くものを持った状態で体重測定。私の時は全部で５人。私達以外の3人はみんな大きい人で70～100kgぐらいありそうでしたが、体重が重い人ほど前の席という感じでした…１人席が３列あって後ろの席が2席繋がってる感じで私たちはそこでした。
でも結果的に窓の大きさと見える範囲の広さ、翼や車輪から離れているので撮れる画角は一番良かったのではないかと思います。

ナパリ―コーストは太陽が昇っている午後の方が山々の筋が綺麗に見れると聞いて14:00のフライトを予約しました。ワイメア側は少し曇っていたけれどとにかく絶景でした！数日前に歩いたカララウトレイルの場所やキラウエア灯台など、先に行った場所をもう一度上空から見れたのでよかった。旅行後半に行くのをおすすめします。
カウアイ島には6日間滞在しましたが、このアクティビティの思い出の印象が最も強く、本当にやってよかったです。なんならこれさえ押さえれば他いかなくてもいいぐらい満足できます。本当に最高でした！超おすすめします！

Due to weather conditions, we had to re-schedule 3 times, but we were so glad we finally got to go up. Marcus was our pilot and he was fabulous. He was very friendly and so informative on our flight. We ended up going on our last day in Kauai, but it was the best ending ever. I highly recommend Wings over Kauai….it allowed us a chance to see parts of the island (oh so many waterfalls and rocky cliffs) that you can’t see from the ground. We also felt the price was quite reasonable for this experience. We definitely recommend this experience!! A great way to spend our 30th anniversary!

Pilot Asa was fluent in Japanese and provided explanations in both English and Japanese, which was very helpful! Japanese was definitely easier to understand, allowing for a deeper comprehension. The piloting was careful, and they made an effort to minimize turbulence. I didn't get motion sickness, but my daughters in the back seat felt a bit nauseous and said they should have taken motion sickness medication. On the day of the flight, the visibility was excellent, and we were able to see places that are usually obscured by clouds, which I think was lucky.

パイロットのアサさんが日本語堪能で、英語に続き日本語でも説明してくれたので、とても良かったです！
やはり日本語の方がわかりやすいので、より理解が深まりました。
操縦も丁寧で、なるべく揺れないよう気を遣って下さいました。
私は酔わなかったのですが、後部座席の娘達は少し酔ってしまったので、酔い止めを飲んでおけば良かったと言っていました。
当日は視界良好で、いつもは雲がかかっていて見えない事が多い所も見えてますよ、教えて下さり、ラッキーだったと思います。

I heard that a Black pilot has also been to Japan and visited some niche tourist spots there. I sincerely apologize if this is perceived as racial discrimination, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear a Black person speaking Japanese honorifics so smoothly. The piloting was also careful, and I felt safe during the flight. If you are visiting Kauai, I highly recommend this tour.

黒人のパイロットさんで日本に来たこともあるそうで、日本でも玄人好みの観光地にいらっしゃったらそうです。
人種差別と捉えられたら誠に申し訳ないのですが、黒人の方が日本の丁寧語をスムーズに話していらっしゃることに良い意味で驚きました。
操縦も丁寧で安心して乗っていることができました。
カウアイ島にいらっしゃる際は、このツアーはおおすすめです。

This was our third try to get this ride. Weather kept us from seeing this amazing island and coast. This time…oh my! The weather cooperated and we were given quite a tour. Our pilot, Duke, was terrific. Duke was so knowledgeable about the island. Plus, Jurassic Park soundtrack. Go ahead and splurge for the front seats…you will not be disappointed! We recommend this flight for everyone. Blue Hawaiian is terrific!

One of the best parts of our Kauai tour coming from both couples! They swapped our tour to give us the best experience which is surely was!

I was torn between choosing a helicopter or this option, but this was the right choice. I am very satisfied with this experience at this price. The scenery was wonderful. I was worried about getting motion sickness, but it was fine.

Would do this again in a heartbeat! The views were like nothing I’ve ever seen before!
We took our family of 5 (we have 3 boys) my 8 and almost 4 year old loved it but my 2.5 yr old had a hard time. And I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I’m thinking ears not adjusting to the height or maybe even motion sickness. But he did not do good. He’s usually a very very easy going toddler. So keep that in mind if you have young children. I would love to do it again without my kids so I could enjoy the breathtaking views without stress

Both the customers and the staff were very kind, and we were blessed with good weather, making it a wonderful experience.

Route:
The route included Poipu Beach, Waimea Canyon, the Na Pali Coast, the North Shore, the forested areas in central Kauai, and a loop around the island of Kauai.

Meeting Place:
The meeting place is the terminal next to the passenger terminal at Lihue Airport, where cargo flights take off and land. There is a map link included in the notification email, so I don't think there will be any mistakes. Once everyone has gathered, there will be a safety briefing.

Expected Level of Turbulence:
The flight I boarded had relatively calm winds, so there was little turbulence like free-fall (I felt a drop of about 30 centimeters three or four times). Additionally, if you are prone to motion sickness, you can inform the staff at check-in, and they will change your seat to one in the back.

集合場所:
集合場所はリフエ空港旅客機ターミナルの隣のカーゴなどが離発着するターミナルになります。
事前の通知メールにマップのリンクもついていますので、間違えることはないかと思います。
全員揃ったことを確認して、安全に関する案内があります。

期待の揺れ具合:
搭乗した便は風が比較的穏やかな時間だったので、フリーフォールのような揺れ方は少なかったです。（大体30センチ程度落ちる感覚が3,4回ありました。）
また、酔いやすい人は受付で申告すると後ろの席にチェンジしてくれます。

Seeing the garden island from above was unbeatable! Loads of streaming waterfalls, greenery, and the gorgeous Hawaiian waters!

Our pilot Marcus was wonderful! Our family of 4 got headsets so we could hear about all the landforms and points of interest we flew to. We got to see sides of the island that boats and helicopters don’t typically get to in addition to the big wow locations like the Napili coast, Waimea Canyon, remote beaches, and waterfalls. We felt totally safe the whole flight and would recommend this tour to everyone!

This tour was so amazing! Our pilot was knowledgable and they played fun music during the ride. We saw all the areas of the island that you cannot access. So many waterfalls, Wamea Canyon and the NaPali coast. We plan to come back and to this again with our kids.

We loved the plane ride, checking in was smooth, they took pictures of us with the plane which was nice, and the employee and pilot were very friendly and helpful. We booked last minute but we felt welcomed nonetheless. The plane ride had a smooth take off and landing. And of course, the view was so amazing along with the pilot telling us all about Kauai!

Kauai is the garden island for a reason. Seeing it all from above was unreal!

Not a fan of helicopter, so a small little plane to explore the island was a great choice!

Very knowledgeable Pilot. The views were majestic and gave me little room for surpassing this experience in any other location. The Jurassic trail was overwhelmingly beautiful. The Napali coast line is like a dream. I would highly recommend this tour. Ask for Steven as your pilot.

About ten years ago, I visited Kauai and, since seeing the view from the Kalalau Lookout, I had always wanted to see the Na Pali Coast from a boat someday. This time, I decided to go to Hawaii and Kauai, and I signed up for this tour in Japan.

I think it was a great experience. Being able to see the beauty of the Na Pali Coast with my own eyes was invaluable. If possible, I would have liked to see a bit further along the coast. I also enjoyed the beautiful long beaches of Barking Sands Beach and Polihale State Park on the way to the Na Pali Coast. The day before, I drove to a bit beyond Barking Sands Beach to an unpaved area, but I thought it wouldn't be easy to reach Polihale.

I'm not good at snorkeling, so I didn't snorkel off the coast of Niihau, but I wish I had at least swum a little with fins. There were 33 participants that day, and I was the only Japanese person. Everyone else was snorkeling. The scenery of Niihau also left an impression on me.

The captain explained things well. I didn't understand much of the explanations in English, though. It was a tour where I truly felt the scale and greatness of nature at the Na Pali Coast. It left a strong impression on me.

Before going, I was concerned about driving there, but I am grateful that I was able to go safely. I realized once again that it's important to plan and prepare thoroughly in advance. I thank the captain and the two crew members.

10年くらい前にカイアウ島へ行ったことがあり、カララウ展望台からの景色を見たときから、ナ・パリ・コーストをいつか船上から是非見てみたいと思っていました。今回、思い切ってハワイ島、カウアイ島へ行くことにし、日本でこのツアーに参加申し込みをしていました。
実際に行って、大変良かったと思います。ナ・パリ・コーストの美しさを実際に自分の目で見れたことは何にも代えがたいです。できれば、コーストのもう少し先まで見てみたいと思いました。また、ナ・パリ・コーストへ行くまでのバーキングサンズビーチ、ポリハレ州立公園のきれいな長いビーチも良かったと思います。前日にバーキングサンズビーチの少し先あたりの舗装されていないところまで車で行きましたが、ポリハレまで行くのは容易でないと思っていました。
シュノーケリングは不得手で、ニイハウ島沖でのシュノーケリングはしませんでしたが、フィンをつけて少し泳ぐだけでもすればよかったと思っています。当日は33名の参加で、日本人は私だけでした。他の人は皆、シュノーケリングをしていました。ニイハウ島の景色も印象に残りました。
キャプテンもよく説明されていました。英語での説明はほとんどわかりませんでしたが。
ナ・パリ・コーストのスケールの大きさ、自然の偉大さを実感したツアーでした。とても印象に残ります。
行く前は現地での車の運転等、気にしていましたが、無事、行くことができて有難く思っています。事前の計画、準備をしっかりしておくことが大事だとあらためて思いました。キャプテン、2人のクルーに感謝します。

The best helicopter ride so far. It was amazing and awesome, I loved the way the music matched the scenery, and the pilot was very knowledgeable about the island. The island is beautiful, and so was the experience, way better then the doors off.

The meeting place was a bit hard to find... There are companies with similar names, it's set back, the sign is small, and it shares a building with several travel agencies. Other than that, the explanations were clear, and both the pilot and the receptionist were efficient and kind. It was quieter than the helicopter and Beachcraft. I used it on the third day after my arrival. I had driven around the Waimea Canyon area on the second day, so I had a rough idea of the island's geography, but from the air, the vastness of the canyon, the flowing water, the dry red soil, the green forests, and the savanna-like low shrubs and short plant colonies were all clearly defined and dynamic under the sun.

I have a desire to challenge myself with several trekking courses, but by the time I finally had some free time, I wasn't confident in my legs and back, so I was glad I chose the scenic flight for safety. The top of Mount Waialeale (the highest point on Kauai) was covered in clouds, so I couldn't see it, but it was a day with few clouds, allowing me to overlook almost the entire island. I was very satisfied.

集合場所がちょっとわかりづらい・・・かな。　似たような名前の会社もあり、奥まっている、看板が小さい、いくつかの旅行会社とシェアしている建物だったので。
それ以外は、説明もわかりやすく、パイロットさんも受付さんもテキパキ親切。ヘリコプターやビーチクラフトよりも静かです。利用したのは到着から３日目。２日目にワイメアキャニオン周辺をドライブしたので、おおよその島の地理は頭に入っていたけれど、空中からですと、キャニオン部分の広さや、水の流れている場所、乾いた赤土と緑の森、サバンナのような低木と背の低い植物のコロニー、太陽の下、しっかり色分けされていてダイナミックでした。
いくつものトレッキングコースに挑戦したい気持ちはありますが、ようやく暇になった頃には足腰に自信が無く、安全第一で遊覧飛行を選んで良かったです。
ワイアレアレ山（カウアイ島で一番標高が高い）の頂部分だけは、雲に覆われていて眺めることができませんでしたが、ほぼ全島が見渡せるほどに雲が少ない日でした。大満足です。

Great sights from above! Lower cost than helicopter but still amazing sights!

Five years ago, I saw the Na Pali Coast on a cruise, but at my husband's strong request, we participated in a helicopter tour. I was able to understand the safety video before boarding thanks to the Japanese subtitles. I had two concerns: motion sickness and the fast-paced English explanations, but there were no problems at all. I took some motion sickness medication just in case, but the ride was very smooth with no turbulence, and above all, the scenery was so stunning that there was no time to feel nauseous.

What made it even better was that the pilot spoke fluent Japanese. We were the only Japanese people on board; the others were from the mainland, but with the interpretation provided, everyone felt friendly and welcoming. It was a fantastic tour that was worth every penny.

一応酔い止めは飲みましたが、とてもスムーズで揺れもなく快適、なにより
あまりに素晴らしい景色で酔う暇無いです
そしてさらに良かったのがパイロットの方が流暢な日本語でお話しして下さいました、日本人は私達だけて他は本土からの方々でしたが
通訳していだたき参加している皆んなフレンドリーな感じに包まれました。
お値段だけの価値はある素晴らしいツアーでした
