My husband experienced it for the first time in 20 years, and it was my first experience, but the staff taught us various things in advance, so we felt safe entering the sea. We had a lesson with three people, including someone from Europe, and they helped us compare the waves so that everyone could ride equally. It was exciting to ride the waves and I was thrilled. I definitely want to participate again.

主人は20年ぶり、私は初体験でしたが、スタッフの方が事前にいろいろ教えてくれ安心して海に入れました。
欧人の方と3人のレッスンでしたが、どの人にもまんべんなく乗れるよう波を見比べてくれ、楽しく波に乗ることができ感激でした。
また、是非参加したいです。

This was my first time participating, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. The food was great in a buffet style, and the main show was absolutely amazing!! There were guest participants, and it was really entertaining. The final fire dance was very powerful, and I couldn't take my eyes off it.

After the show ended, I was able to take photos with the dancers, so I am very satisfied.

楽しめました。ご飯もビュッフェスタイルで良かったし
なんといってもメインのショーが最高でした！！

ファイナルのファイアーダンスはとても迫力があり

I participated in the 9 o'clock session with a friend. It was quite empty, so we were able to sit comfortably inside the submarine. We saw sea turtles multiple times, and it was interesting to experience the blue world. The diving time was longer than I expected, lasting about an hour. However, the noise from the motor at the back of the submarine was terrible, and I could hardly hear the explanations, which was disappointing. I recommend sitting at the front in the direction of travel.

友達と2名で、9時スタートの回に参加しました。
結構空いていたので、潜水艦内はゆったりと座れました。
海ガメも何度も見れたし、ブルーの世界を体験できて面白かったです。潜水時間も思ったより長く、1時間くらいありました。ただ艦内後ろ側のモータ？音がひどくて説明がほとんど聞き取れなかったのが残念でした。進行方向の前側に座るのがお勧めです。

It was awesome. It was our first time and the staff was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the activity. They both were very friendly, took pictures, and answered questions. We would recommend this to everyone. You have a beautiful view from up there. Was a little scary at first, then you relax and enjoy the view of beach and Diamond Head. Would do it again

I had my first experience at the age of sixty. I was a bit anxious before getting on the boat, but once we started, I forgot all about it. This time, I participated with my wife. Since we were in Waikiki, we had a great view of Diamond Head and the city of Honolulu. The instructions were in English, but they also spoke a little Japanese, which made me feel at ease. The blue of the ocean and the blue of the sky were amazing, and without the sound of the wind, I truly felt like a bird. I would love to experience this again if I have the chance.

Lastly, I was a bit flustered when a foreigner prepared a tip, but I think it would be good if that was clearly stated. I went this time for my son's wedding, and I was able to have a wonderful experience.

初めての体験を、還暦にしました。ボートに乗る前はやや不安でしたが、スタートしたら忘れてしまいました。今回はワイフと参加しました。ワイキキですので、ダイアモンドヘッドやホノルルの町が一望。説明は英語でしたが、片言の日本語でも話してくれたので安心でした。海の青さと空の青さが素晴らしく、風の音も無く本当に鳥に成った気分でした。機会が有れば何度でも体験してみたいです。
最後に、外国人がチップを用意したので慌てましたが、明記して頂けたら良いと思いました。今回は息子の結婚式で行きましたが、素晴らしい体験をする事が出来ました。

We participated as a couple.

We went to the meeting place near the boarding area, but there were no landmarks, and we felt a bit anxious while waiting. …Then, as mentioned in previous posts, the staff were the guys sitting under the umbrella right behind the boarding area. (I think it's quite hard to find.)

On the day of the event, the weather was nice, and once we set off, the wind felt refreshing! Since you do get splashed with quite a bit of water, I recommend wearing something that you don't mind getting wet. Your belongings can be stored inside the catamaran, so it's safe to bring them along. The view of Waikiki from out at sea was absolutely wonderful. We even saw a beautiful rainbow, which made us very satisfied. It's a pity we didn't get to see any dolphins.

It was quite bumpy, but it was thrilling, and I enjoyed it without feeling seasick!☆

夫婦で参加しました。

待ち合わせ場所の、乗り場近くに行きましたが、何も目印がなく、少し不安になりながら待ってました。
…すると、以前の書き込みにもありましたが、乗り場のすぐ後ろのパラソルの下に座っているおじさん達が係の人でした。（かなりわかりにくいと思います。）

当日は、天気もよく、出発すると風が気持ちよくって爽快でした！
結構水しぶきはかかってしまいますので、ホント濡れてもいい格好がオススメです。
荷物は、カタマランの中で預かってもらえるので、持って行っても安心です。
沖の方から見るワイキキの景色がとても素敵でした。
キレイな虹も見れ、大満足です。
イルカ達に会えなかったのが残念ですね。

かなり揺れてましたが、スリル満点で、酔う事もなく楽しめました☆

We participated as a group of three women. One of us was a complete beginner, while the other two had only tried it a few times. However, it was our first time surfing in Hawaii... The price was affordable, we wanted to learn from locals, and transportation was included!

While the instructions were in English, I think it would be fine even for those who don't understand English. (There were also people who could speak Japanese.)

In any case, I highly recommend it! The instructors are kind and will definitely help beginners stand up on the board. However, if you prefer a slower pace and more thorough instruction, it might be better to avoid group sessions.

女子３人で参加しましたぁ。
一人はまったくの初心者で、あと２人は数回やった事があるぐらいです。でも、HAWAIIでサーフィンするのは初めてなので･･･。価格も安いし、地元の人に教えてもらいたいし、送迎もついてたので！
教えてもらっている時は英語でしたケド英語が分からない人でも大丈夫だと思いますよー。
（日本語が話せる方もいたので。）

とにかくオススメです！
優しく教えてくれるし、初めての人でも絶対に立てます。
ただ、もっとゆっくりと、しっかり教えて欲しい方などは、グループ参加じゃナイ方が良いかもしれませんね。

I went parasailing for the first time in Hawaii, and it was fantastic.

I chose the standard plan, and the view of Waikiki from above was great, with a very pleasant breeze.

Since you'll be in the sun, it might be better to go early in the morning or in the evening.

The staff was very accommodating, and I had a great time.

We participated on the afternoon of our arrival in Hawaii. We had a 3-year-old with us, but the whole family enjoyed it. Listening to Hawaiian music while sipping margaritas made us feel great! It was wonderful to enjoy the Hawaiian sea at the start of our trip, and I'm glad we made the reservation for the first day!

3歳の子連れでしたが、家族で楽しめました。
ハワイアンミュージックを聴きながら、マルガリータを飲んで、気分が良かったです☆

It's a waste not to go surfing when you're in Hawaii! I decided to give it a try. As a result, even as a beginner, I was able to stand up on my first wave. The staff takes great care to ensure that everyone can stand up and ride the waves.

However, I noticed that two young Japanese girls were being hit on by the staff. I recommend this experience for those who don't mind that sort of thing and can enjoy it as part of the fun. If you participate as a couple, you probably won't have to worry about such things.

It seems that the staff can speak basic Japanese. Even those who are worried about their English can enjoy themselves without any concerns. The price is likely high because it's aimed at Japanese tourists. Well, you can enjoy it at a reasonable price for what you get.

　せっかくハワイに行くのにサーフィンをしないなんて勿体ない！と思って利用しました。結果、初心者でも初めての波で立てました。必ず立って波に乗れるように、スタッフが至れり尽くせりの世話をしてくれます。

　が、若い日本人の女の子（２人連れでした）はスタッフにナンパされていました。そういうことを気にしない人、それも含めて楽しめる人に勧めです。カップルで参加すれば、そういった心配もないでしょう。

　スタッフは簡単な日本語ならみんなできるようです。英語が心配な人でも安心してたのしめます。値段が高いのは日本人向けだからでしょう。まあ、お値段なりに、お手軽に楽しめます。

Whenever I come to Hawaii, I make it a point to participate in a luau show. This time, I attended the show at the Hilton Hotel for the first time, and it was a lot of fun. Also, everything was in English.

I was quite disappointed that the venue was on the rooftop of a building. The ones I've attended before were all near the ocean, which created a much better atmosphere and was very pleasant. It may vary from person to person, but for me, being on the rooftop just didn't quite do it. I don't think I'll participate again next time.

The food was average. They also had options for children, which I think is great for those with little ones.

ハワイに来たら毎回ルアウショーに参加することにしてます。今回初めてヒルトンホテルのショーに参加しましたが、ショーはとても楽しかったです。あと、すべて英語です。

開催場所がビルの屋上だったことが、私にはとても残念でした。今までに参加したものは、海の近くばかりだったので、とても雰囲気がよく気持ちがいいものでした。人それぞれだと思いますが、私は、屋上であることが、正直いまひとつでした。次回は参加しないと思います。
お料理は普通でした。お子様用も用意されていて、小さい子をお連れの方にはよいと思いました。

It was interesting to see the submarine rise to the surface. Also, it was a great experience since you don't often get to see underwater. I was able to see a sea turtle too. It was a good experience.

潜水艦が浮かび上がってくるところがまず面白かった。
また、それ以外にも、海の中をみることってあまりない経験なのでよかったです。
海がめもみることができたし。いい経験です。

This time, two women participated. Since it was September, we were blessed with good weather. One of us joined because of Alan's campaign, so I think we got a bit of a bonus there. We participated in the 3 PM departure, which was nice because the sun wasn't too strong. Depending on the day, the sailing departures are at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. There are also tours where you can stop the catamaran offshore for snorkeling, and a sunset sail starting at 5 PM, which I recommend!

The location is easy to find; just look for the friendly old man standing there as a landmark. Once we head offshore, you can enjoy drinks on the catamaran. I think it was around $5... they also have champagne and cocktails. The captain and staff were really nice!

I believe we were on a tour that usually doesn’t stop offshore, but since there were mostly a small number of foreigners, we stopped at a point with fish, and everyone changed into swimsuits and jumped in. As expected, foreigners know how to have fun! With such surprises, I definitely recommend wearing a swimsuit for participation. Everyone should join and enjoy the view of Waikiki from the sea!

今回は女性二人の参加。９月といこともあり天気にも恵まれました。
今回は一人はアランのキャンペーン参加で参加したのでちょっと得したかな？
私達が参加したのは日差しがきつくない３時出発で参加しました。登場は曜日にもよるけど１１時、１時、３時の出発がセーリングです。他には沖合いでカタマランを止めシュノーケリングをするツアーや５時からのサンセットセイルもあるようでお勧めですよ！
場所はすぐにわかります。やさしいおじさんがたっているのが目印です。
沖合いにでますとカタマランの上でお酒が飲めます。確か５ドルくらいだったような・・・シャンパンやカクテルもあります。
キャプテンやスタッフをとてもいい感じ！
私達は通常沖合いには止まらないツアーだっと思いますが、小人数の外人さんが殆どだったので、魚のいるポイントで船を止めて皆水着になって飛び込んでいました。
さすが・・・外人さんは楽しみ方を知ってますね！
そんなサプライズもあるので是非水着を着用しての参加がお勧めです。
皆さんも是非参加して海から見るワイキキを眺めてみてはいかが・・・

We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon this time.
At my husband's request, we booked Atlantis.
On the day of the trip, it was clear and sunny, and we took a blue shuttle bus to the beach in the Ala Moana area where there was a pier.
We started at 10 AM, and there were many Japanese people.
The staff were also Japanese, and their explanations were easy to understand.
After boarding the boat, it took about ten minutes to reach the location of the submarine.
The sea sparkled, and we had a great view of Diamond Head!
When we boarded the submarine, it was almost full inside.
The one-hour underwater exploration was mystical, and the 10 AM tour included explanations in Japanese, making it easy to understand the names of tropical fish and the sunken ships in the sea.
We were also able to see sea turtles!
The round trip on the boat made me a little seasick, but it became a wonderful memory.

今回ハネムーンでハワイに行きました。
旦那さんの希望で、アトランティスを予約しました。
当日は快晴で、青い送迎バスにてアラモアナ方面のビーチへいくと桟橋がありました。
私たちは１０時開始でしたが、日本人の方が多かったです。
スタッフの方も日本人で説明も分かり易かったです。
船に乗り込み潜水艦がある場所まで役１０分。
海がきらきらとして、ダイヤモンドヘンドもばっちり望めました！
いざ潜水艦へ乗り込むと艦内はほぼ満席でした。
１時間の海底探検は神秘的でした、１０時の回は日本語での説明つきで熱帯魚の名前や海の沈んでいる船等の解説は分かりやすかったです。
海がめも見ることができました！
往復の船はちょっぴり船酔い気味でしたが、とてもいい思い出になりました。

I arrived early at the Outrigger Hotel, but I couldn't find the catamaran, which made me a bit anxious. Around 12:30, when check-in started, a yacht that looked like it appeared. Check-in was on the beach.

The weather was perfect, and it was wonderful to enjoy the pleasant breeze while looking at Waikiki and Diamond Head. There were a few splashes from the waves, but it was just the right amount.

There were about a dozen participants, including an elderly lady and a family with a baby, but the staff paid attention to everyone, which was nice.

You can either dangle your feet over the net or sit in a chair. Since we were sailing, there was no engine noise, and I was able to enjoy the experience comfortably.

In the latter half, I caught a glimpse of some dolphins. I think an hour and a half is just the right amount of time. If it were any longer, it might get boring, so it was a perfectly enjoyable tour that anyone could easily join.

アウトリガーホテルに早めに到着しましたが、カタマランは見当たらず、若干不安に。受付開始時間12:30ちょうど位にそれらしきヨットが現れる。受付はビーチで。

天候は申し分のない日で、気持ちのよい風をうけながら、ワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めるのは最高でした。若干波しぶきがかかりましたが、気持ちのよい程度。

参加人数は10数人で、かなり高齢のおばあさん、ベビーを連れたファミリーもいましたが、スタッフはそれぞれに気を配っていい感じでした。

ネットの部分で足を投げ出してもいいですし、イスに座ることもできます。帆走をしますので、エンジン音がすることもなく、快適に楽しむことが出来ました。

後半、イルカの姿が少しだけ見られました。一時間半という時間はちょうどよいと思います。あまり長くても飽きてしまうので、気軽に参加することのできるちょうど良いツアーでした。

We had such a blast. The crew was great and the music that they played was amazing yet perfect. It was such a nice way to relax and enjoy the beach. We recommend this to anyone who is looking for something relaxing to do besides sitting on the beach. They do offer drinks at a small fee. If you want something to do for 1 1/2 hours then this is for you. The cool part is that once you are in the ocean you can sit on the netting in the front and really enjoy the sites of Waikiki.

This was the first time every for either one of us to go parasailing. What a great time. The staff was very helpful and made sure that we all felt safe before we went up. We only went up 700 feet next time (and yes there will be a next time) we will go up higher. Once you are in the air you get a birds eye view of Wakiki beach. Don't worry about bringing your camera up with you because the staff will take about 15 or so pictures of you while in the air for a small fee. We also like the fact that you get lifted from the boat itself and not being pulled from the beach. The staff also keeps any eye on you while you are in the air to be sure that you are safe at all times.

It was interesting to experience the sirens during the dive on the submarine for the first time. There weren't many fish while submerged, but there were a lot of fish around some sunken ships we encountered. The water was a beautiful marine blue.

初めての潜水艦で、潜水時のサイレンなど面白かった。
潜航時はあまり魚はいなかったけど、時々ある沈没船などには多くの魚がいました。
水がマリンブルーでとても綺麗でした。

Very friendly staff. Had a great time...very entertaining and views were amazing. Definately recommend this as a perfect way to see Waikiki from a different angle.

We didn't see many fish, but the submarine was unusual, so the children were very happy.

I had to wait in line for what felt like forever to enter the venue. It seemed that taking photos for each group at the entrance was the cause of the congestion, but couldn't they find a better way to manage that? The food was also hotel cuisine, and it could have been improved. It wasn't good. As for the show, the one at Sheraton Kauai was more interesting as it traced the history of Hawaii. Overall, it was quite disappointing.

会場に入るのにこれでもかというくらいならんで待たされた。はいるところで1グループごとに写真をとっていたのでそれが混雑の原因と思われますがもうちょっとなんとかならないものでしょうか？食事もホテルで出す料理なのでもうちょっとなんとかならないのでしょうか？まずかったです。ショーの内容もシェラトンカイウラニのショーの方がハワイの歴史をたどっていて面白かったです。全体的にいまいちでした。

On the day of arrival, I had some time before check-in, so I participated. It was a very comfortable stimulation for my slightly dazed mind. The boat, moving refreshingly with just the wind, allows you to feel the wind, sea, and sun directly on your body, unlike larger ships. The hour-long duration was just right.

到着した日、チェックインまでに時間があったので、参加しました。少しぼーっとした頭に、とても快適な刺激でした。風だけで、爽快に進んでいく船は、他の大きな船と違って、体に直接風や海や太陽を感じます。1時間ほどの時間も丁度よかったです。

The food was diverse and delicious, the dancing was powerful, and it was great to see the sunset. My child was thrilled to get a turtle tattoo on their shoulder. I would love to go again the next time I visit.

料理は種類も豊富で美味しく、踊りも迫力があり、サンセットも見れ良かったです。子供は肩に亀の絵をタトゥーしてもらい大喜びでした。次回訪れた時も行きたいと思いました。

Everything was GREAT except for the location.. I was disappointed cuz I booked this with a beach location in mind.. or at least, close proximity or along the beach; which I heard was the case for some time. Instead it was on the rooftop of the parking structure! Anyway, you probably would get more outstanding reviews if you only put the luau back on the beach or the grass area between the Lagoon Tower & Rainbow Tower! That would've made it PERFECT! Food could be better as well! Entertainment was excellent!n Great performers!

I highly recommend this activity for everyone! Would and WILL do this again!!!

I signed up for the activity on the recommendation of an acquaintance. Running through the blue sky with the wind while listening to music was incredibly refreshing and felt great. I saw a lot of big turtles. I definitely want to participate again!

知人に勧められてアクテビィティ申し込みました。
音楽をかけながら青い空を風をきって走るのはすごく爽快で気持ちよかったです。大きな亀がたくさん見れました。
また是非参加したいです！

the parasailing itself wasnt bad but the staff needs alot of work,..particularly the driver of the shuttle..he was extremely rude and while the parasailing/ boat crew wasnt exactly the most pleasent or talkative they knew what they were doing and they were professional.

This was my eighth trip to Hawaii, and I have exhausted all the optional tours featured in magazines. I participated with my husband and our two sons, who are in middle and elementary school, making a total of four of us. I had always wanted to experience sailing on a large yacht after seeing others enjoy it, and with the kids' request for snorkeling, we decided on this tour.

Since it was during the Obon holiday, half of the participants were Japanese families. There were no Japanese staff on the tour, and all explanations on the yacht were in English.

We walked to the meeting point, which was easy to find. The yacht departed on time. After about 20 minutes, we arrived at our destination off the coast of Waikiki, where we received instructions on how to use the goggles and floats, as well as information about the fish we would see. We then enjoyed an hour of snorkeling. The wind was calm, and there was little rocking; the water was clear, allowing us to see many small and large black fish. Our underwater camera was put to good use. On the yacht, soft drinks were available for $1 and beer for $3. The remaining time was spent sailing back while enjoying the views of Waikiki. We went quite far out and close to Diamond Head, where dolphins and turtles approached the yacht.

I had some anxiety about signing up since there were no participant reviews, but I truly felt it was a great decision to join this tour.

今回は8回目のハワイで、雑誌に掲載されているようなオプショナルツアーは行きつくしている贅沢モンです。
夫婦と中学生・小学生の男子、合計4人で参加しました。以前から大きなヨットでセーリングを楽しむ人々を見て、いつか私も体験したいと思っていたツアーでした。子供たちのリクエストもあってシュノーケリング付きの、このツアーに決めました。
お盆の時期だったので、参加者の半分は日本人のファミリーでした。ツアーのスタッフに日本人はいません。ヨット上での説明もすべて英語です。
集合場所まで徒歩で向かいました。場所はすぐに分かります。時間通りにヨットは出発しました。20分ほどで目的地のワイキキ沖に着き、ゴーグルや浮きの使い方や見える魚の説明があり、その後1時間シュノーケルを楽しみました。風も穏やかで揺れも少なく、海の透明度は良く大小の黒い魚がたくさんみえました。持参の水中カメラが活躍しました。ヨットの上で、ソフトドリンク1ドル・ビール３ドルで買えます。残りの時間は、ワイキキ沖をセーリングしながら帰ります。かなり沖の方やダイヤモンドヘッド近くまで行きました。その時、ヨットの近くにイルカやカメがよってきました。
参加体験談が無かったので申し込み時には不安もありましたが、このツアーに参加して本当に良かったと思いました。

It feels really nice. There were four groups of guests on one boat. From the time we were picked up by the tour bus until we were taken back to the hotel, there wasn't much waiting time, and we enjoyed cruising while waiting for our turn on the motorboat.

すごく気持ちいいです。１つのボートに４組の客でした。ツアーバスでピックアップしてもらってからホテルに送ってもらうまで、さほど待ち時間もなく、モーターボートに乗って順番待ちをしている間もクルージングとして楽しめました。
