I went parasailing for the first time this New Year. It was a small tour with about four groups. I thought it wouldn't be too bumpy, but as soon as we left the yacht harbor, the boat started rocking a lot. I took some motion sickness medication, but I still felt a bit nauseous. My son joined me, and he didn't take any medication, so he got quite seasick. However, once we were up in the air, the view was amazing, and the altitude was impressive. I didn't feel too scared and was able to enjoy it. Next time, I plan to take better precautions against seasickness.

新年1発目にパラセーリングをしてきました。
4組程で少人数でのツアーでした。
大して揺れないだろうと思っていましたが、ヨットハーバーから
外に出たとたんに船が大きく揺れて酔い止めを飲んでいましたが
それでも少し気持ち悪くなりました。息子も一緒に参加したのですが
彼は酔い止めを飲んでなく相当酔っていました。
それでも上空に上がったら景色は最高で決行な高度がありましたが
怖さもあまりなく楽しむことができました。
次回は船酔い対策をしっかりして挑もうと思います。

On the day of the event, it was a bit disappointing that the luau was held indoors due to the weather, but I was greeted with a lei at the entrance and chose a Mai Tai. There were many types of food available to fill up before the show, and I was quite satisfied. The show included audience participation events, creating a friendly atmosphere. The singing and hula were fantastic, and the fire dance brought everything to a climax. It was an incredibly enjoyable evening.

当日は天候の影響で室内でのルアウとなり少し残念でしたが
入り口でレイを掛けていただき、マイタイをチョイス。
ショーの前の腹ごなしも多くの種類が並び満腹になりました。
ショーでは客席参加型のイベントもあり和やかな雰囲気でした。
歌、フラも最高、ファイヤーダンスで最高潮となり
とても楽しく過ごせた夕べでした。

This was my fourth experience. Usually, I choose the most expensive options, but this time it was 120m. I enjoyed it refreshingly.
There are usually some pushy aspects, but this time there was none of that, and I was able to give a tip comfortably, as the service was humble.

4度目の体験でした。いつもは、最高に高いものを選んでいましたが、今回は120ｍでした。さわやかに楽しめました。
いつもは、少し強引なところもございましたが、今回はそれはなく、チップをこちらから気持ちよくお渡しでき、謙虚なご対応でした。

I was a bit scared before getting on, but once I started flying, it was very refreshing and felt great. The weather was nice, so both the sky and the sea were a brilliant blue, and the view of Waikiki from the ocean was spectacular. I'm glad I experienced it. The staff were also very kind. I don't understand much English, but they showed me a paper with explanations in Japanese, so it was totally fine! It’s very bright, so I think it’s better to have sunglasses.

乗るまでは怖いのかなと思いましたが、
いざ飛んでみたら、そんな事はなくとても爽快で気持ちよかったです。
天気が良かったので空も海も真っ青で
海から眺めるワイキキの景色も絶景で
体験して良かったです。
スタッフの方もとても親切にしてくれました。
英語はあまり分からないのですが、日本語の説明の紙も見せてもらえたので、全然大丈夫でした！
とても眩しいのでサングラスはあった方がいいと思います。

I was able to see the view of Waikiki, and it was fun to see the hotel from the ocean!
I had some photos taken!
There are pictures where it looks like I could be eaten by a shark, and you can even see the airline in the background, making for great memories!
However, it was unfortunate that the camera lens was dirty, and all the photos had spots in the same position...
Also, the waves were high, and I got seasick.
Please make sure to take motion sickness medication and enjoy yourselves!

ワイキキの景色を見ることができ、ホテルを海から見れて楽しかったです！
写真を撮っていただきました！
サメに食べられちゃう写真や、航空会社もわかるレベルで写真に写り、いい記念になりました！！
ただ、残念だったのはとっていただいたカメラのレンズが汚れており、どの写真も同じ位置に点々が…
そして波は高く、船酔いもしました。

The weather was nice, and we had an amazing time. The height of 90 meters was more than enough for us. My 9-year-old daughter, rather than being scared, enjoyed it the most. She said that parasailing was the most fun she had in Hawaii. The other people on the boat were also Japanese, and even though we didn't know each other, we cheered and felt a sense of unity, which was fun. The guide took a lot of photos for an additional fee of $30, and we received an SD card. This was a great deal. By the way, I gave the captain a tip of $20.

天気も良く、最高に楽しかったです。
高さ90メートルで私達には十分すぎでした。
特に９才の娘が怖がるどころか一番楽しんでいました。パラセイリグがハワイで一番楽しかったと言っています。
一緒に船に乗った他の人達も日本人で、知らない方々ですが、イエーイなどと盛り上がり、なんとなく一体感を感じて面白かったです。
ガイドのお兄さんが写真を別料金30ドルでたくさんとってくれて、SD カードをもらいました。これはとてもお得でした。
ちなみに船長にチップ20ドルを渡しました。

It was very pleasant and fun! You should definitely try it at least once♪ Next time I go to Hawaii, I want to do it again!

We challenged ourselves with a group of nine at 150 meters. There was a bit of wind, so the boat swayed a little on the way to the site, but there were no particular issues. Two staff members helped to create a lively atmosphere, and we had a great time.

Regarding the height, it’s not like you’re suddenly thrown up to that height; the gradual ascent was not scary at all, even for someone like me who has a fear of heights. The feeling of being up in the air was wonderful. I would love to experience this again on my next trip to Hawaii.

I highly recommend this tour.

総勢９名で１５０Mに挑戦しました。
やや風があったので、現場に到着するまでの道中、少しボートが揺れましたが、特に問題はありませんでした。スタッフの方２名が盛り上げてくれて、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
高さについては、急にその高さに放り出される訳ではありませんし、徐々に上がっていく過程は高所恐怖症の私でも何の怖さも感じませんでした。上空での心地よさは素晴らしいものでした。次回のハワイでもまた体験したいです。
お勧めのツアーです。

I was able to participate from Japan without any worries, thanks to the kind answers to my questions during the reservation process. The atmosphere was even better than I imagined, the drinks were very delicious, and they served plenty. Both of the captains were cool, which added to the charm of the sunset cruising. I am still reminiscing about the experience since returning home. Thank you very much. I will definitely make a reservation next time.

予約の際も質問に親切にお答え頂きまして何の不安もなく日本から楽しみに参加させていただきました。想像以上にムードも良く、ドリンクがとても美味しく、沢山振舞って下さいました。お二人のキャプテンさんもカッコよく、更にサンセットクルージングの魅力が増しました。帰国してからも思い出に浸っております。ありがとうございました。次回も必ず予約します。

We boarded the boat and first headed a little offshore for some snorkeling. It’s not too far from the shore, but surprisingly there is quite a current and depth. That said, life vests are provided, so there’s no need to worry. We were able to swim while watching sea turtles and small fish.

During the sailing afterward, we got to see dolphins up close. However, the wind was strong offshore, which made the boat quite rocky. Additionally, being wet and exposed to the wind made it feel much colder, even though the sun was strong. I think motion sickness medication and a jacket are essential.

船に乗り込んでまずは少し沖に出て、そこでシュノーケリングです。岸からそこまで離れていないのですが意外に流れと深さがあります。とはいえライフベストが配られるので心配ありません。ウミガメや小さな魚を見ながら泳ぐことができました。
その後のセーリングではイルカを間近で見ることができました。ただし風が沖では強かったこともあってかなり揺れました。また濡れたまま風にあたるので日差しは強かったのにかなり冷えました。酔い止めと上着は必須だと思います。

I was a bit anxious about my first optional tour abroad (parasailing), but everything went smoothly and it was fun! I was also worried about seasickness, but I was fine! It might have been because the waves weren't too rough, but in any case, I was satisfied.

初めての海外でのオプショナルツアー（パラセーリング）で少し不安でしたが全てスムーズで楽しかったです！
それと船酔いも心配しましたが大丈夫でした！
これはあまり波が立ってなかったのが良かったかもですが、何はともあれ満足出来ました。

Liz was great. She and the other staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. She gave us a couple of nice dives....we didn't have to do a thing, the crew took care of all the hard work of loading tanks and equipment, so just got to have fun. 10 out 10 would do again!

We had a great time on the Sunset Cruise, the staff were great, sunset didn’t disappoint!!
I bought the tickets as a surprise for my husband’s 60th in Hawaii, and we both had a ball! Watch those Maitais though, as they warned us, they really do creep up on you...

Such an awesome trip- got to see 3 sea turtles right off the bat. Great staff, very friendly and they go out of their way to make this experience as best they can!

I have used Sunset Sailing several times, but during busy times, I have often found it sold out after arriving on-site. This year, I took advantage of the option to make a reservation in advance. The sea changed to a deep blue, and I enjoyed views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach from the water. With cheerful music playing and unlimited drinks like my favorite Mai Tai, the weather was great, and I was able to see the sunset perfectly. It was absolutely wonderful! My grandchild, who experienced this for the first time, was also thrilled!

サンセットセーリングは何度か利用したことがありましたが、混雑時期のこの時間帯は現地入りしてからではsold outということが何度かあり、今年は事前に予約できるこちらを利用させてもらいました。深いブルーに変化する海、海から見るダイヤモンドヘッドやワイキキビーチ、陽気な音楽を聴きながら大好きなマイタイ等のドリンク飲み放題、天気も良かったのでサンセットもバッチリ見ることが出来、とにかく最高でした。初体験の孫も大喜びでした!

We participated as a family of four. The weather was great, and we enjoyed the stunning views of Waikiki. The tour was organized into six pairs, but we hardly noticed any waiting time.

家族4人で参加。天候もよく、ワイキキの絶景を楽しめた。2人ずつ、6組でのツアーとなったが、待ち時間等はほとんど気になることはなかった。

とても興奮していて、ガイドが英語を話すネイティブスピーカーだったので安心しました。友達と一緒に忘れられない体験ができました。ありがとう！

It was SO excited and relieved even the guide was native speakers by speaking English. I got one of an unforgettable experience with friends of mine. Thanks s lot!

We attended with seven family members in the Diamond Seat. The price is high, but the major benefits are being able to watch the show from the front row and having priority access to the buffet. The buffet had a long line, possibly due to the Golden Week crowds, and it was disappointing to be cut in line by those who didn't have priority. The drink bar also had a Japanese menu available. Additionally, they take a photo of you at the beginning, and later a staff member comes around selling the framed photo for $50, which is amusing. After the show, the performers allow you to take pictures in the hallway, so that was satisfying.

家族7人で、ダイヤモンドシートで参加しました。
価格は高いですが大きいメリットは、最前列でショーを観れる・ビュッフェが最優先で並べるの2点です。ビュッフェはGWの混雑のせいか長蛇の列で、優先ではない方に割込みされ残念でした。
ドリンクバーは日本語メニューもありました。
また、最初に写真撮られ、後でまわってくるスタッフさんが写真たて付き50ドルで売りに来ます笑
ショーの後、出演者の方が廊下で写真を撮らせてくれるのでそれで満足でした。

For the past few decades, I have stayed at Sheraton Waikiki every year, and I finally decided to participate this year, which I had been curious about for a long time. I regret not joining sooner and want to participate every time I visit from now on. First of all, the captain was handsome, cheerful, and fun. It was great to be able to drink alcohol, and I enjoyed the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea. Most of all, I was thrilled to see wild dolphins and turtles. It was a lot of fun.

ここ数十年、毎年シェラトンワイキキに宿泊してますが、毎回気になってたので今年思い切って参加してみました、もっと早く参加すればよかったと後悔しました、これからは行くたびに参加したいです。まずはキャプテンがイケメンで陽気で楽しかった、お酒が飲めてよかった、海からのワイキキの景色やダイヤモンドヘッドが見れてよかった、何より野生のイルカちゃんとカメちゃんに会えた事です、楽しかった。

I was worried that I wouldn't be able to see the sunset because it was cloudy, but I was able to see it just before leaving! Just like last time, the Mai Tai was delicious, and the snacks that were handed out tasted surprisingly good, perhaps because we were on the boat. There were many Westerners, but there were also Japanese people, and we were able to take pictures with each other's families and enjoy our time together.

曇りで夕日が見れるか心配でしたが、帰り際にちゃんと見れました！前回同様マイタイも美味しく、配られたスナック菓子も船の上のせいか何故かとても美味しく感じました。西洋人の方が多いですが、日本人も居てお互いの家族で写真を取り合ったりして仲良く過ごせました。

Wonderful cruise, attentive and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend.

From the departure, the explanations, the Mai Tai and champagne service, and the careful adjustment of the mast to ensure the boat could sail steadily were all done excellently, allowing us to relax and focus on chatting and taking photos.

出発から、説明、マイタイ、シャンペンのサービス、船が安定して航行できるようにマストの状態を注意深く調整するなど、最高の仕事ぶりで、私たちは安心して、おしゃべりや写真に集中できました。

This time in Hawaii, I had a 4-night, 6-day plan on Oahu. On the last day, my wife went shopping while I joined a fishing trip alone. The shuttle bus picked me up alone and arrived at the boarding area about five minutes late. Once on board, there were already about 20 guests settled in various spots. I was the only Japanese person, and the rest seemed to be local Hawaiians and Americans. Everyone, including the crew, was cheerful, and they handed me a paper cup saying, "Hey! This is a snack!" Upon closer inspection, I saw that it contained large pieces of squid cut into rings for bait. While fishing with a view of Diamond Head, I suddenly felt a big tug. Everyone exclaimed, "Oh!" The cheerful American, without me asking, grabbed the fish and removed the hook. He posed for a photo looking quite satisfied as if he had caught it himself. For someone like me who often goes fishing in Japan, it felt a bit intrusive.

Still, both the guests and the crew were very friendly, and I had a great time chatting about fishing with those around me. One slightly disappointing thing was that although it was supposed to include "shuttle service," no one came to pick me up for the return trip, so I had to make my own way back to the hotel. (That wouldn't happen in Japan.)

今回のハワイは、オアフ島に4泊6日の予定で、最後の日、ワイフはショッピング、私は一人で釣りに参加した。迎えのバスは私１人で、５分ほど遅れて乗船場に着いた。乗り込むと、既に２０人ほどの客が思い思いの場所を陣取っていた。日本人は私一人だけで、現地のハワイアンとアメリカンの様でした。クルーを含めてみんな陽気な人たちばかりでヘイ―！これスナックだ！と紙コップを渡してくれた。よく見るとその中にはイカを輪切りにした大きな餌が入っていた。ダイアモンドヘッドを見ながら釣りをしていたら突然大きな手ごたえがあった。みんなオーと歓声が上がった。陽気なアメリカンは頼みもしないのに、魚をつかみ針を外してくれた。いかにも自分が釣り上げたかのように満足そうに写真に納まっていた。日本では、よく釣りに行く私にとって、ちょっとおせっかいだな～。
それでも、客もクルーもとても気さくで、周りの人たちと、釣りの話で盛り上がり、とても楽しかった。ちょっと残念なことは〝送迎付き”のはずなのに
帰りは迎えが来ず、自分でホテルに帰った。（日本ではありえないよ）

The weather was nice and it felt really good! I thought I would like to do it again. I recommend this place! I’m not good with heights, but once I went up, it was comfortable and the view was amazing!

Parasailing was amazing. There was someone who was afraid of heights, and at first, they were nervous, but after we started, they said it was fun as long as they didn't look down.

パラセーリング最高でした。高所恐怖症の人間がいて、最初はびびっていましたが、わったあとは下を見なければ楽しいとの感想でした。

Thank you for explaining things clearly. It was my first time, and I was happy to be able to stand! I would like to participate again when I go to Hawaii!

I was glad to see sea turtles swimming from above.

One concern I had was that it was my fault for not reading the instructions properly, but I found out after making the reservation that you can't ride alone unless you weigh over 80 kilograms.

On the day of the event, there was an American participant who also tried to ride alone but was made to ride with someone else. One man looked quite large and seemed to weigh over 80 kilograms...

It's unclear whether they were flying for two people's time.

気になる点は、
ちゃんと説明を読まなかったのが悪いのですが、予約した後に80キロ以上ないと一人で乗る事ができない事がわかりました。

当日参加したアメリカ人？の方も、一人で乗ろうとしましたが、二人乗りにさせられてました。１人の男性は、体が大きく80キロ以上あるように見えましたが・・

２人分の時間を飛んでくれていたのか不明。

Make this a priority. It was the highlight of our trip. Everyone should do this. Young or old!

This is my third time, and it’s always amazing no matter how many times I go! The fireworks, the ocean, the drinks, and the music in Waikiki. Enjoying a drink while gazing at the night view of Waikiki is truly the best! Since it’s an open bar, the all-you-can-drink option is fantastic!

今年で3回目になりますが、何度乗っても最高にたのです！ワイキキの花火と海とお酒と音楽と。本当にワイキキの夜景を遠目に眺めながらのお酒は最高です！オープンバーなので、飲み放題も最高☆

This was my first time surfing, and I was worried about whether I could do it, but there were about 20 people in the group with around 5 instructors who helped push us when the waves came. They also gave us signals like, "Come on, come on! Stand up!" By the third try, I started to get the hang of it and was able to ride the waves! The instructors were all friendly, and some of them spoke Japanese, which made me feel at ease. I definitely want to do this again next year! ☆

今回、初サーフィンとのことで、乗れるか心配でしたが、20人前後のグループにインストラクターが5人程付いて、波が来たタイミングで押してくれます。あとは、「コイデコイデー！セイザー！タッテー！」と合図をくれるので、3回目くらいにはコツが掴めて来て、波に乗れるようになります！スクールのインストラクターの方も皆さんフランクで、日本語を話せる方もいたので、安心してできました。来年も絶対やりたいです☆
