I have wanted to try skydiving for a long time, and I signed up for it during this trip as part of my sightseeing. To put it simply, I think you can do skydiving in various places, but the experience of free-falling for about a minute while enjoying the wonderful views of the North Shore, followed by a leisurely parachute descent for about 3 to 4 minutes, is something you can't get anywhere else. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Even though I am not a tourist and have lived in Honolulu for almost three years, the circle island tour with Polynesian Adventure Tours was amazing to say the least. I had already been to most of the places we visited on the tour, but on that day I saw the island in a different light. Nothing like learning about Hawaii from a native Hawaiian guide! He was a human encyclopedia of information and facts. Culture, history, flora, fauna, movie set locations—he knew it all.

What specifically impressed me is when our guide talked about Captain Cook’s death. Many sources say that this European sailor might have been eaten by the natives. Our guide shared, however, that Hawaiian people never practices cannibalism. After Cook’s death his body was treated the same way a body of a local chief would be treated—the flesh was burnt but the bones remained intact for further burial. So, upon requesting their captain’s body, Cook’s team was issued a bag of bones, which made them automatically assume he had been eaten.

I would highly recommend the circle island tour to anyone wanting to see Oahu’s beautiful nature and also learn more about its history and culture. This tour will definitely broaden your horizons. I am thankful I had the opportunity to go!

I had done it once in Japan, but skydiving in Hawaii was incredibly beautiful by comparison. It was the best. The instructor was very energetic and it was so much fun. When I did it in Japan, the instructor was relatively quiet, and it felt a bit awkward after the parachute opened... (laughs)
The emotions from that experience can only be understood by those who have jumped! Thank you for such a wonderful memory.

Without a question this is a 5 star experience. This is one of those moments in life you will never forget and will probably want to do again. The staff is very friendly and experienced and they have great respect for the ocean and its creatures. They gave us a safety briefing and explained what to expect with the sharks and what not do, first thing we heard was "keep all the negative associations with sharks at the shore, go in with an open mind".
We got to swim around Sandbar & Galapagos sharks ranging from 5-10 feet, absolutely mind blowing. Some of them were curious and came close to us! It was a little scared first, but the guide kept us safe during the whole time. While we were enjoying that magical moment another crew member took great pictures of the encounter.
Absolutely a must-do activity if you are in Hawaii. I would love to go out with the Islandview Hawaii crew again!

This place at gunstock ranch was amazing the workers there were supportive right off the back. The greeting felt like home, no worries even though we were late due to the place due to traffic the team was very understanding. The 10,000 acre ranch was nice riding cowgirl and McAllen and being followed bullet the donkey was very romanctic. The horses were very easy to ride our tour guide did a good job telling us a little about the ranch what they have to offer and how we can learn a little about HAWAII history there. Me and my wife will most diffently want to come back and do the night dinner I'd enjoy this again prob try the advance racing of horses.

The moment I fell from the Cessna was scary, but looking around, the scenery was amazing and moving...!!! I had asked to take photos, but I was so nervous that I couldn't focus on how I looked, which I regret (laughs). I want to challenge myself again. At first, I thought the tip for the instructors was a bit high, but after seeing the instructors in action, I realized they put their lives on the line for this job. Thinking about that made me understand why tipping was justified.

I signed up for a horseback riding experience in Hawaii for my honeymoon, something I had been interested in for a long time. I was really looking forward to it, but when it came time to ride, I felt a bit nervous. After all, once you get on the horse, you have to control it mostly by yourself.

However, that thought quickly faded. The well-trained horses (I rode one named Scarlet) followed the lead horse closely unless something unusual happened.

I enjoyed the various scenery, including grazing cattle, the ocean spread out below, and caves, while spending time with the free-spirited horses that occasionally grazed or shook their bodies. The hour flew by.

Although it was a short time, the horses moved differently depending on their personalities, creating a soothing experience that was different from just looking at the ocean.

A couple of points to note are access and clothing. First, regarding access: it's located away from Waikiki, so I think many people go by rental car. We headed there via the North Shore, but we encountered traffic near the beach along the way, which took longer than expected. I recommend allowing extra time for arrival.

As for clothing, there was a sudden rain during the experience. My husband and I were wearing long sleeves, so it didn't affect us much, but those in short sleeves looked a bit cold. This might be common for outdoor activities, but I think it's good to be prepared for changes in weather.

In any case, we had a wonderful time. I recommend this for anyone who wants to enjoy a side of Hawaii beyond just the beach.

しっかり調教された馬（私はスカーレット、という子に乗りました）たち、よほどのことがない限り、
先頭のガイド馬に、ピッタリ着いて歩いてくれました。

放牧された牛たちや眼下に広がる海、洞窟などの様々な景色と、時折草を食べたり体を震わせたりする自由な馬との時間を楽しみながら、あっという間の1時間でした。

短い時間ではありましたが、それぞれの馬の性格によって動き方も変わり、海を眺めているのとは違った癒しの時間となりました。

注意ポイントは、アクセスと服装。
まず、アクセスについて。ワイキキから離れた場所にありますので、レンタカーで行かれる方が多いかと思います。私たちはノース経由で向かったのですが、途中のビーチ付近で渋滞が発生し、想定以上に移動に時間がかかりました。余裕を持った到着をお勧めします。
そして、服装。体験の最中に突然の雨。私たち夫婦は長袖着用だったのであまり影響を受けませんでしたが、一緒にコースを回っていた半袖の方が少し寒そうでした。屋外アクティビティでは当たり前のことかもしれませんが、天候の変化に対応できるようにしておくと良いと思います。

いずれにしても、とてもよい時間を過ごせました。ビーチだけではないハワイを楽しみたい方に、お勧めです。

I participated with two friends. As everyone mentioned in their reviews, it was an incredibly valuable experience! Joining was definitely the right decision.
The flow was as follows: hotel pickup → a lecture (in English) where they only played a video for about 30 minutes, which felt almost pointless → waiting time (about 2 hours? Free time on benches, so bring something to do or it can get boring) → called by name for preparation → boarding the plane → dive!! → tips are not given directly to the instructor but placed in a tip box → waited until everyone who came on the bus with us finished → returned home together.
The instructors had different approaches; out of the three of us, two got to control the parachute, and one of them even got to spin around!

友人２人と参加させて頂きました。感想はみなさんのレビュー通り、非常に貴重な経験をさせて頂きました☆参加して大正解でした。
流れとしては、ホテル迎え→講習（英語）でビデオを流すのみ…あってないようなもの３０分→待機時間（２時間程？ベンチ等で自由時間…何か持っていかないと暇です）→名前をアナウンスで呼ばれて準備→飛行機乗り込み→ダイブ！！→チップはインストラクターに渡すのではなく、チップの箱に入れる→一緒にバスに乗ってきた方が終わるまで待機→みんなで帰路。
インストラクターの方によって対応が違い、３人中２人はパラシュートの操縦をさせて頂き、その内の１人はグルグル回って頂けたそうですｗｗ

This was an awesome experience. I had done the shark cage before, but I never thought that I'd be able to swim with the sharks without cage. I was a bit skeptical about the safety, but once I was in the water, I didn't feel threatened at all. It was just a calm and relaxing experience, and the sharks were not interested in humans at all. The sharks we saw were mostly Sandbar Sharks and Galapagos Sharks, and they only eat fish. They were more attracted to the sound/vibration of the boat engine. So the guide instructed us to stay away from the boat, and we stayed together as a group. We only have a group of 5 with 1 guide and 1 photographer in the water, so the experience was very intimate.

I highly recommend this activity to anyone, and really observe the sharks in their environment. Forget about Shark Weeks, Jaws, etc., and go see them with their own eyes so you can cure people's misconception about these beautiful creatures.

I thought this would be like a small Disneyland. It was, but in many ways so much better. We were greeted by helpful and enthusiastic young people who pointed us in the right direction. The staff consists of college kids who come from a variety of Pacific islands. We visited five of the six "villages", watching a show/demo at each. There were several performers but, at each, one mature person engaged the audience. They were descendants of that culture who told us fascinating stories and were often very funny. We took a boat ride down the river before watching the 15-minute movie "Hawaiian Journey." It's billed as a "breathtaking journey for the senses" and it was. Few people seemed to notice that there were speakers in the headrest of each chair. The music and sounds made me feel as if I were actually traveling through the beauty of Hawaii. Our ticket included dinner, which was good. The highlight of the day for me was the show afterwards: "Ha--Breath of life." It was amazing... and breathtaking; definitely on a par with Cirque du Soleil. The performances, set, lighting and choreography were amazing. They even served ice cream during the 10-minute intermission! It was a wonderful experience that gave me a better appreciation for the Polynesian people and their cultures.

Breathtaking view 絶景

It was incredibly beautiful! I was really excited and looking forward to getting on the Cessna, but as we ascended, I started shaking from fear! (laughs) However, the instructors inside the Cessna were very lively, perhaps to ease our nerves? (laughs) It made me feel much better! Once we reached the planned altitude, we just took off one after another without any hesitation, which was great! (laughs)

I highly recommend skydiving in Hawaii for the breathtaking views that you can't see in Japan, and it's affordable too!

I think it's better to wear long pants just in case you might fall when landing.

The mysterious wait time for the return shuttle was really long, and over there, it was mostly English, so just be aware of that!

Tips → Instructor $20 and up
Driver $10 and up

Other costs → Coin locker $1 (25 cents x 4)
Vending machine around $2, I think...

They can exchange money, so you don't need to worry about having small change!

My first skydiving experience! It was a cloudy day, and I was anxious about the long wait and whether I would actually get to jump, but somehow I was able to take the plunge about two and a half hours after arriving. I was extremely nervous leading up to the jump, but once I was in the air, it felt amazing and was over in no time. It was so much fun! There were a lot of handsome instructors, which was a nice bonus (laughs).

This is a horseback riding club located near Kaena Point on the North Shore. There were six participants, and everyone seemed to be a beginner. Two staff members accompanied us, and the horses were well-trained, which made us feel safe.

We were able to ride along the beautiful North Shore coastline and had a wonderful time.

Skydiving was an incredible experience! I think it will be an unforgettable moment in my life. The instructor was very kind, and from the pickup at 5:20 AM to arriving back at the hotel around 9:30 AM, there was almost no waiting time for skydiving, which made it very efficient.
However, I have one complaint. The fee for my wife, who accompanied me as a spectator, was about 5,400 yen, which I think is too high. If they are going to charge that much, I believe they should at least include drinks or light snacks, but there was absolutely no service provided.
If they enhance the services for accompanying guests, I think it could become an even better shop. Overall, though, I received satisfactory service, so I definitely recommend that those who are hesitant give it a try!

I’m not good at English at all, but I thought I could manage by watching the people around me, so I gave it a try. Everyone except me was a foreigner, and the explanations were all in English.

At one point, I was told to grab the red cord when I reached the goal. If I didn’t, I would be pulled back like in bungee jumping and wouldn’t be able to return. The instructor worked hard to help me, but I ended up in tears… However, it was so much fun that I want to do it again!

I'm someone who can hardly ride thrill rides, but I decided to try skydiving, thinking it might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The moment I jumped out of the plane was terrifying! However, when I opened my eyes, I saw beautiful ocean, sky, and mountains! I forgot my fear and enjoyed the scenery, thinking I had to remember it all.

Since I was on my honeymoon, it was quite expensive, but I purchased both photos and videos! Afterward, we checked the images and laughed at each other's pictures (laughs). I'm glad we made such fun memories!

I recommend bringing a long-sleeve shirt! It was hot when we were falling because the sun was so close, but it felt cold up in the air even with long sleeves.

絶叫系のアトラクションにほぼ乗れない私ですが、一生に一回しか出来ないかもしれないと思いスカイダイビングに挑戦しました。
飛行機から落ちてすぐまでは怖い！しかなかったですが目を開けてみたら綺麗な海！空！山！目に焼き付けないとと怖さも忘れて景色を楽しめました。
ハネムーンで行っていたので結構高かったですが、写真とビデオ両方購入しました！終わってから画像チェックをしてお互いの写真を見て大笑い（笑）楽しい思い出が出来てよかったです！
長袖を持って行くことをオススメします！落ちている時は太陽が近くて暑いですが、上空は長袖でも寒く感じました。
