I was able to see whales a few times, and I also got to see dolphins up close along the way, making it a satisfying tour. Wonderful experience swimming with the turtles. But I was struggling with light headedness and nausea. The lifeguard and crew were so caring and sensitive. They encouraged me to stay out in the water as long as I felt confident but then took me back to the boat via the surf board when it was too much. I was given a ginger ale to sip on and the team frequently checked on me. Always encouraging and supportive. I never felt shamed or ridiculed. Thank you

We had an incredible experience. It was early in the season so we didn’t think we were going to see anything. The crew told us to hurry and board as some other boats had said they saw some whales out there. We had been out for maybe 20 minutes and we saw a couple of spouts in the distance between two boats. We were all looking way out at those spouts when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, a male humpback jumped straight up out of the water and breached about 15 yards in front of our boat!!! No one got a picture because we weren’t expecting it and we all just watched it unbelievably in that moment! It doesn’t get any better than that! The captains were so helpful and knowledgeable!

For those who are not proficient in English, there was no explanation in Japanese at all. I understand that there were only two of us Japanese participants along with one other person, but... Also, there was a sign saying there would be snacks and drinks, but we ended up not knowing when we could use them. This is because the whale watching point was really close by, and while we were looking for whales on the deck, it all ended before we knew it. By that time, the food had been taken away, and everyone was looking for something to eat, but there was nothing to be found. While I was indeed moved to see the whales, the staff on the boat were lacking. The hula dance on the boat was just a simple hula dance by a young girl from the staff? The staff seemed to be having fun, but... In the end, most people didn't put anything in the tip box. I did put in a little because it was mentioned in the tour description that tips were necessary, but I don't think it was really needed.

A large manta ray came within just a couple of centimeters and circled around us more than ten times! We also encountered a few smaller manta rays. I could see inside its mouth and all its fins; it was truly a beautiful creature, and I was moved by the experience.

This tour accommodates a small group of up to eight people. On this day, there were two staff members with us. Being able to swim and having some snorkeling experience were prerequisites, as we needed to swim a bit to reach the best points where the manta rays were located.

The staff members were genuinely caring and fun to be around. I’m not very good at English, but I participated on a day when there was an English-speaking guide, and I managed to get by with gestures. There was also a thorough lecture about manta rays, so I think it would have been even more enjoyable if I had participated with a Japanese guide or had better language skills.

The meeting point was clearly communicated through several emails, so I found it easily. Additionally, I’m grateful for the videos and photos from that day!

口の中もヒレの中も全部見えたけど、本当に美しい生き物で感動しました。

スタッフの方は本当に思いやりがあって楽しい方々でした。

丁寧なマンタに関するレクチャーもあったので、日本人ガイドさんに参加するかもう少し私に語学力があれば更に楽しかっただろうな。
集合場所も何度も丁寧にメールを下さったのですぐわかりました。
あと、その日のビデオや写真もいただけて感謝です！

I participated on December 5, 2025. It seemed a bit early for the peak season (winter from January to March), and unfortunately, I couldn't see any whales (tears). I really appreciate that the captain searched diligently, and whether or not we see them might be a matter of luck. However, I would have liked to have some sort of remedy, such as the option to reboard in cases like this!

It was easy to get to the departure point since it was just a short distance from Waikiki Beach. The boat was larger than I expected, and I didn't have to worry about seasickness. We were the only Japanese people on board, but I wasn't concerned about my broken English. Above all, it was amazing to see sea turtles and go snorkeling just about 20 minutes from the beach. The coffee and snacks provided on the boat were also delicious. The only downside was that other tour boats came to the same spot, so there were a few noisy groups around.
