モロキニ島シュノーケリングクルーズ＜朝・昼食付／現地集合＞

The weather was great and it felt amazing! 天気に恵まれサイコーに気持ち良かった！

Every December, I go to a remote island to enjoy snorkeling trips, but the weather is often bad during this time. However, this time the weather was fantastic, and we were able to relax comfortably on the deck of the boat.

There were some rough waves, so one person got seasick and had to sit down, but since they are generally weak on boats, there's not much you can do about that. The snorkeling at Molokini Island has excellent water clarity, but... although I wasn't expecting much, I was still disappointed by the lack of coral and fish. Having experienced Okinawa, the Maldives, and Palau, I can't help but compare.

At the turtle spot, there were several turtles, and I even encountered one that was floating while mating. However, the visibility there wasn't great, and there were no fish at all. Our group was the only Japanese people there.

Our guide, Takako, was friendly and cheerful, which made our experience enjoyable and comfortable. My father, who couldn't go into the water, was also satisfied because the weather was nice.

毎年１２月には離島に行きシュノーケルトリップを楽しみますがこの時期は天候が悪いことも多いです。しかし今回はすっごく良いお天気で船のデッキで気持ち良くすごせました。
少し波が荒かったため１名だけ船酔いしダウンしましたがもともと船に弱いためこればっかりは仕方ないですね。
モロキニ島のシュノーケルは海の透明度は抜群ですが・・・期待していなかったもののやっぱり珊瑚や魚が少なく残念でした。沖縄やモルディブ・パラオを体験してるのでそれと比べてしまいます。カメがいるスポットには何匹もいて交尾しながら浮いてくるカメにも遭遇しました。ただここは透明度は良くありませんし全く魚はいません。
日本人は私達グループのみでした。
ガイドのタカコさんは気さくで天真爛漫。おかげでこちらも楽しく快適に過ごせました。
海に入れない父も天気が良かったので満足していました。

Seeing and touching dolphins up close like this is something you can't easily do in Japan! It's definitely a must-visit at least once! Although it's a bit pricey, I think it's worth booking the Royal Course. You can kiss the dolphins, hold onto the dorsal fins and swim, and the dolphins will even push you with their snouts while you swim. They keep the camera rolling the whole time, taking photos for you, and within an hour, you can purchase the photos or a DVD. If you can swim, I highly recommend this experience. You'll wear a life jacket, but you need to swim to the edge of the pool on your own, so if you can do a dog paddle, you can participate! It might be a bit difficult for those who can't swim at all.

Depending on the season, it can be cold when you get out of the pool, so I think it's a good idea to bring something to wear over your clothes.

イルカとkissしたり、2頭の背びれにつかまって泳いだり、イルカが鼻の先で足裏を押してくれて、泳いだりできます。終始カメラを回しており、写真も撮ってくれて、1時間もあれば、写真やＤＶＤを購入することができます。
泳ぐことができる人であれば、是非経験したほうがよいと思います。
ライフジャケットを身につけますが、1人でプールの端まで泳いでいかないといけないので、犬かきができる人であれば、体験できます！まったく泳げない人は少し難しいかも。

季節によって、プールから上がると寒いので、羽織るものを持っていった方がよいと思います。

It has been a little while, but I participated in a dolphin swimming experience in Hawaii. The bright staff and their efficient service were great. There were a lot of people, and although we discovered a pod of dolphins, we found that entering the water late meant we missed out... That was a bit of a downside. While having a large group can be exciting, I felt that it might be better to have a bit of a limit on the number of participants. However, I would like to try the dolphin academy next time.

This was my first time going to Hawaii with my husband, and this time we booked activities online. The weather was nice on the day, but it was a bit chilly, and I wondered how it would go. However, the enthusiasm of the staff and the other participants made me forget the cold! The staff were very warm and friendly, and I was able to spend the whole time with a smile.

We got to see dolphins swimming, and we even encountered a whale! I had given up hope since it was still early in the season, so it was a surprise. I was so excited! It must be due to everyone's good deeds. The hamburgers for lunch were also really delicious, and the dance time was fun!

Thank you so much, Captain Ken, Avi, Kaina, and Kekoa! I would love to participate again next time with my whole family. It's snowing in Kobe. I miss the days spent in Hawaii! Staff, please take care of yourselves and give us another wonderful experience next time!

主人とハワイに行くのは初めてで　今回はネットを利用してアクてィビティーを予約させていただきました。
当日は天気はよいものの肌寒くて　どうなる事かと思いましたが、スタッフの皆さんや　参加されてる皆さんの熱気で　寒さも忘れるほどでした！！

It was a program where we could interact with dolphins, so my husband’s parents and I participated together. This was my first time joining, and the dolphin that happened to assist us was Kekaimaru from Walfin. Since it was my first time interacting with a dolphin, I couldn't really tell the difference, but I was told that it was a bit larger than a regular dolphin. The staff were all very kind and accommodating, and I had a great time.

イルカに触れ合えるプログラムだったので、主人の両親と4人で参加しました。
今回初めての参加でしたが、たまたま対応してくれたイルカがウォルフィンのKekaimaruちゃんでした。イルカに触れ合うこと自体が初めてだったので、違いがよくわかりませんでしたが、普通のイルカよりも少し大きいとのことでした。

This is my third time in Hawaii, but it was my first time riding a submarine.

First, we took a boat for about 5 to 10 minutes to reach the submarine, but even for someone like me who gets seasick easily, it was fine. There was so much to see that I didn't have time to feel sick! The beach viewed from the sea was very beautiful, and Diamond Head was truly impressive. Plus, we even saw a pod of dolphins!!! I boarded the submarine in a state of great excitement.

The guide was American, but he explained everything in very beautiful Japanese, so the audio guide was unnecessary. (He also made a lot of jokes, which were entertaining.) Of course, I was excited to see the fish and sea turtles, but I was particularly thrilled by the shipwrecks and airplanes.

I'm not sure if I will repeat this experience the next time I go to Hawaii, but I definitely recommend it to those who haven't tried it yet.

After seeing the dolphins, while moving to a point where we could see sea turtles, we were stopped in the water due to engine trouble. We returned to port safely on the one boat that was functioning. The hula dance lesson, the staff's planned dance on the boat, and the BBQ lunch (which had been cooked on the boat but was cold) were held at a park instead.

It seemed to be an unexpected trouble, but the staff were smiling, kind, and fun, which made me forget that we hardly got to do any snorkeling or experiences like kayak surfing or paddle surfing.

However, what was disappointing was the company's response. Despite the schedule changes due to the boat trouble, the apology was simply a discount on the DVD (which could be purchased by those who wanted it) from 8,000 yen to 3,000 yen. At that moment, everyone was tired from seasickness and agreed to it, but considering that some might not want to purchase it, I found it strange.

It was truly disappointing, especially since all the staff were great. Among the group, I was the only one participating for the second time, and knowing how much fun I had the first time made me feel sorry for my friends who joined me this time. 予想外のトラブルだったようですが、スタッフの方たちは、笑顔で優しく楽しく、結局シュノーケリングがほとんどできなかったこと、カヤックサーフィンやパドルサーフィンなどの体験もできなかったことを忘れさせてくれる気がしました。

ただ、残念なのが、会社の対応です。船のトラブルで、スケジュールに変更があったにもかかわらず、お詫びが『（希望者のみ購入する）DVD8000円を3000円に割引します』といったものでした。その場では、皆船酔いなどの疲れもあり、了承しましたが、購入しない場合もあることを考えるとおかしいと思います。

スタッフの方たちが、全員よい方だっただけに本当に残念です。グループで参加の中、私だけ二回目参加で、一回目とても楽しかったことを知っていただけに一緒に参加した友人にも申し訳ない気持ちになりました。
予想外のトラブルとはいっても、今後もあり得ることだと思いますし、キチンとした対応を考えていただきたいと思います。

This was my third time, but it was completely different from before and had turned into just a sightseeing experience. Ten years ago, it was truly educational, and even five years ago, although the time was shorter, it still felt educational. Each person received a certificate, and the children were very happy. With so many participants being managed in such a short time in a show space like now, the appeal is almost nonexistent. Japanese aquariums are much better.

I participated on the day I arrived on the Big Island. Since my hotel was the Kona Coast Resort, it was just a short walk to the Keauhou Shopping Center where the Sea Paradise office is located. I found it cumbersome to confirm my reservation over the phone, so I went directly to the office to do so. (Photo: Since it was from the hotel, the office was in the building immediately to the right after entering from the lower entrance of the shopping center.) You walk past the Hilton to get to the port. They give you a map, so it's easy to find. As mentioned in the reviews, I rented a wetsuit next to the office. Everyone rented one. It takes just a little over 5 minutes from the port to the location where there is an English explanation. There were no other Japanese people besides my family. It's totally fine if you don't understand English. Each person receives a buoy, and (a large foreign man received two) you tuck it under your arm and enter the sea. As noted in the reviews, the best position is near the light. I absolutely recommend it. Mantas come right away, and their power is astonishing. About three of them circle around so closely that you can almost touch them.

Points:
- Be sure to rent a wetsuit.
- Position yourself near the light.
- While you tuck the buoy under your arm on the raft, when on the raft, hold it with your hands and bring the buoy to your feet to view it horizontally. If it's near your upper body, you may get seasick after about 40 minutes.

If possible, bring a digital camera that can record video; you'll be able to capture amazing footage. You can take beautiful pictures even without a flash. Since the manta's movements are fast, photos may come out blurry. I used a LUMIX FT-20 and captured some impressive videos.

If you're hesitating about whether to participate, I can assure you it will be a wonderful memory.

ハワイ島に到着した日に参加しました。ホテルがコナコーストリゾートだったのでシーパラダイス事務所があるケアホウショッピングセンターまでは歩いてすぐでした。電話で予約再確認をするのも面倒だったので直接事務所に行って予約再確認をしました。（写真：ホテルからだったのでショッピングセンターの下側の入り口から入ってすぐの右側の建物に事務所がありました。）港へはヒルトンの前を通っていきます。地図をくれるのですぐにわかります。書き込みにあるように事務所の隣でウェットスーツを借りました。全員借りていました。港からは5分ちょっとくらいで場所につき英語の説明があります。私たち家族以外は日本人はいませんでした。英語がわからなくても全く大丈夫です。うきうき棒を一人ずつもらい、（太っている外人の男の人は2本もらっていました）脇に挟んで海に入ります。書き込みにあったようにライトの近くがベストポジションです。絶対お勧めです。すぐにマンタがやってきてその迫力にびっくり。3匹くらいがほとんど触れるくらいに何度も旋回してやってきます。
ポイント
ウェットスーツは必ず借りる。

ライトの近くに陣取る。

うきうき棒はいかだまでは脇に挟んでいきますが、いかだでは手でいかだをもってうきうき棒は足の先に持っていき水平になって見ます。上半身にあると40分くらい入っていると波酔いしやすくなります。

できれば動画が撮れるデジカメを持っていくと素晴らしい動画が撮れます。フラッシュなしでもきれいに撮れます。写真はマンタの動きが速いのでぶれてしまいます。LUMIX FT-20で撮りましたが迫力ある動画が撮れました。

どうしようかと迷っている方は是非参加されたら素晴らしい思い出になること間違いありません。

We had booked Atlantis submarine adventure with Hawaii activities for the thanksgiving weekend and we were not disappointed. Right from the ease of booking to getting us to the event on time everything was as smooth as it could get. I had booked several other events through Hawaii activities including parasailing, Magic of Polynisia show and Polynesian cultural center luau and everyone of them was memorable. Had a chance to deal with one of the most professional and Courteous staff from Hawaii activities who made sure that this was our best vacation.

I think both children and adults can enjoy getting up close to and touching the dolphins. The space is just right, and you can watch the show at a leisurely pace without feeling rushed. There’s also a small playland near the center, so kids who get bored can play on the slide and other activities. It was a very satisfying tour.

間近でイルカを見れて触れるので子供から大人まで楽しめると思います。
広さもほどよく、ショーもゆっくり見れるのでバタバタすることはありませんでした。

Capt Mike and his deckhand Travis were awesome. We saw plenty of sea turtles and a baby dolphin even did a flip for us! The sailing after the snorkeling was so relaxing as we cruised by diamond head. It's like an adventure that comes from a movie. The catamaran was big and comfortable. I miss Hawaii just reminiscing on this adventure. This is a must go cruise and snorkel trip.

The level was lower than I had imagined. You might see whales, but it's better to think of it as a lucky chance if you do. Simply going out to the open sea and feeling the pleasant breeze makes it worth the price. It's also suitable for busy people since there's no need to go to the port for a pickup.

We participated with our nine-year-old child. There were about ten other people, including couples and solo travelers from America. Luckily, we encountered dolphins right after the boat started moving! A group of small Hawaiian dolphins swam around, jumping and spinning three times around the boat. After that, we got ready for snorkeling and entered the sea. We swam with a family of dolphins at the bottom of the clear water. There were also two baby dolphins. After that, we moved to a snorkeling spot with the Captain Cook Monument, where we enjoyed beautiful coral reefs and colorful fish. It was the best memory. They helped by lending a bodyboard with a small window to my scared son. One thing to note is that we listened to an explanation on the boat for about twenty minutes at the beginning, during which my husband and son got completely seasick and ended up getting sick... Motion sickness medication is a must.

九歳の子供と夫婦で参加して来ました。他にはカップル、1人旅のアメリカ人が10人ぐらい。ラッキーなことに船を走らせてすぐにイルカと遭遇！！小柄なハワイアンイルカが沢山群れになって泳いでおり、船の周りでジャンプ＆スピンを三回披露。その後シュノーケリングの用意をして海へ入りました。透明度のある海の底で泳ぐイルカの家族と一緒に泳ぎました。赤ちゃんイルカも二頭いました。その後、キャプテンクック記念碑のあるシュノーケリングスポットへ移動して、美しいサンゴ礁とカラフルなお魚達を堪能。最高の思い出が出来ました。怖がりの息子に小窓付きのボディボードを貸してくれて助かりました。注意点としては、最初に船の上で説明を二十分位聞きましたが、その間に主人と息子がすっかり船酔い。戻してしまいました。。。酔い止めは必須です。

I've been on a few excursions. . .all have been fun, but this was my favorite. I highly recommend it! The staff was great fun and very knowledgeable. We saw so many dolphins, a sea turtle, and a sting ray. We were able to snorkel along side and enjoy! It was a bonus they had a photographer on board that took underwater pictures so we have our memories in pictures of all we enjoyed that day. You won't be disappointed!!

I was skeptical about whether I could really see wild dolphins, but I was moved to see them for sure! I was asked about wearing a wetsuit, but since none of the other participants raised their hands, our group also participated without suits. However, the seawater was colder than I expected, and it was very chilly with the wind when we got back on the boat. I recommend participating with a wetsuit.

My husband, 7 month old son, and I had a great experience with this activity during snorkeling and snuba. We got lucky, and one of the guest/crew members watched our son (who mostly slept) so we had the opportunity to both go together for the snorkeling and snuba. The catamaran we took was a great ship. The crew was very accommodating, nice, funny, and took care of everyone, including a woman who lost her camera in the water, and when my hubby got a little overwhelmed in the beginning during snuba. The food was okay, but definitely helped after a good amount of time time in the water. I would defintely do it again. The great crew actually made a huge difference too!

I had to cancel dolphin watching twice in Kyushu due to typhoons, even though the probability of seeing them was over 90%. This time, I learned that in Hawaii, not only can you see them, but you can also swim with them, so I confidently signed up!

On the day of the event, we had an early morning meeting at 6 AM, but my excitement kept me awake and ready to go☆

As soon as we arrived, I put on a wetsuit ($10), hopped on the boat, and off we went! I was a bit anxious about the early start, but as soon as we reached the bay, we spotted dolphins right away! Over the course of a few hours, we encountered several dolphins, including baby dolphins♪ Other teams were there too, but the dolphins kept coming back to our group, making it hard for us to get back on the boat (laughs).

We changed locations and were able to see two sea turtles swimming. My husband said he found the sight of the turtles gliding through the water to be mystical.

逢える確率９０％以上の九州でイルカウォチングを２回も台風で断念。今回は常夏ハワイで見るだけでなく一緒に泳げることが出きると知り、大丈夫だと申込しました！

当日は朝も早く６時集合でしたが、ワクワクする気持ちが大きくてしっかり起きれました☆

到着するやいなやウエットスーツ（＄１０）を着て、ボートへ乗り込み、いざ出発！なんて早いスタートなんだと焦りましたが、湾にでるとすぐイルカ発見！！数時間の間に何頭もイルカや子供イルカにも逢うことが出来ました♪他のチームも来られていましたが、イルカは私たちのチームへ何回も寄ってきてくれボートに上がるに上がれない状態でした（笑）

場所を変えてウミガメは２匹も泳いている姿を見ることができました。旦那はウミガメの悠々を泳ぐ姿が神秘的に感じたと言っていました。

I signed up for the Dolphin Royal Swim at my mother's request. Holding onto the dorsal fins of two dolphins and getting pushed by them with my feet was even more fun than I imagined. It became a great memory.
