They are quite fast, but on this day, there were so many dolphins (^ -^) v It was truly moving ٩(^‿^)۶ Thanks to the captain's arrangements, we were able to see them again. I was worried about getting seasick, so I took motion sickness medication after breakfast. I didn't get sick, but I was hit by an overwhelming drowsiness. The deeper we went, the darker it became, and the visibility wasn't that clear, so I dozed off and felt a bit out of it. If asked if I would go again, my answer would be NO. As mentioned in Manou Yamashita's book, in the morning, there were mostly Japanese people, so if you want to feel like you're abroad, I recommend the afternoon trips. In the morning, it was nice to have a Japanese guide and be able to listen to the explanations without headphones since there were many Japanese people... It was good that the shuttle bus dropped us off not at the original location, but partway, allowing us to get off in front of DFS without returning to the Sheraton. By the way, Manou recommended walking along the coast to the boarding area instead of taking the shuttle bus.

酔ってしまったら嫌だなあと思って、酔い止め薬を朝食後に飲みました。酔わなかったですけど、もの凄い眠気に襲われ、艦内は潜れば潜るほど暗くなるし、そこまで透明度も明瞭でないので、ウトウト、ぼーっとしてしまいました。もう1回行く？と聞かれたら、ＮＯ、です。山下マヌーさんの本に載っていた通り、午前中は、日本人がほとんどだったので、海外気分を感じたいのであれば、午後便がお勧めです。午前は、日本語ガイドになり、（日本人が多かったので）ヘッドフォンをつけずに解説を聞けるのは良かったと思いますが・・・。送迎バスの送りで、元の場所でなく、途中で、おろしてもらえたのは良かったです。（シェラトンまで戻らずにＤＦＳ前で降車できた）ちなみに、マヌーさんは、送迎バスで運んでもらうのではなく、海岸をずっと歩いて、乗船場まで行くことをオススメしていました。

I participated with my family and my 2-year-old nephew. I was nervous that there might be a height check since he was just barely 92 cm, but there was no check, and we were able to board without any issues.

The boat from the beach to the submarine sways quite a bit. We had to wait about 10 minutes for the submarine, and during that time, people who are prone to motion sickness felt quite nauseous on the swaying boat. Once we boarded the submarine, it was calm and steady once submerged.

Underwater, the visibility was poor, and we couldn't see many fish. There were fish around the artificially sunk feeding area. I was a bit disappointed because the photos on the website looked too beautiful, and I had that image in mind. Additionally, inside the submarine, we only listened to explanations through headphones, and there was hardly any interaction from the crew, which was a bit disappointing. However, the elementary school-aged children seemed to enjoy it.

沈むと海の中は濁っておりあまり魚が見えませんでした。人工的に沈められた餌場の周りには魚がいます。ホームページなどの写真が綺麗すぎるのでそのイメージでいたのでがっかりです。また、潜水艦の中はヘッドホンで説明を聞くだけで乗務員さんからの話はほとんど無いのでそれも少し残念です。小学生くらいの子供は楽しんでいました。

We participated as a family of four. The weather was great. From the bus ride, the staff provided detailed explanations about life jackets and safety points for the sea, which gave us a sense of security. As soon as we arrived at the port, we boarded a two-story boat. It had a restroom and was a splendid vessel. The fins and equipment were relatively new and clean. The captain took us to the right spot, and with the encouragement of the staff, we jumped into the sea. Unfortunately, during the first jump, the dolphins swam away in the distance, but on the second try, we encountered a wonderful pod and swam so close to the dolphins that it felt like we could reach out and touch them, losing track of time in the moment. We also danced hula together and during snorkeling time, we even saw turtles. It was a day of great satisfaction.

家族4人で参加しました。お天気は良好。行きのバスからスタッフの方が、ライフジャケットや海での注意点を細かく説明して下さり、安心感がありました。港に着いてすぐに2階建てのボートに乗りました。トイレもあり、立派な船でした。フィンや道具は新しめで綺麗でした。船長さんがここというポイントに連れて行って下さり、スタッフの方々の掛け声で海に飛び込みます。初めの一回は残念ながらイルカは遠くに泳いで行ってしまいましたが、2回目にすばらしい群れに会えて、イルカと手が届きそうな近さで泳ぎ時間を忘れるひと時でした。
フラダンスをみんなで踊ったり、シュノーケリングタイムには亀にも会えました。大満足の一日でした。

Our experience from start to finish was exceptional! The shuttle ride started with a wonderful ride from Emanual- she was friendly and conversational, making our time feel like it was spent with a friend. She was knowledgeable about the Island and told us interesting things. She suggested we rent a car and we did- the next day! Thanks Em so worth it! On the boat Em and Captain Jenna were wonderful. Our teenager got a little sick but they didn't give up on her, with their words of encouragement and support we set sail. Our 8 year old was afraid and because of you two ladies she got in and snorkeled with an 80year old turltle. Words can express that magic of that experience! We are eagerly anticipating the pictures photographer Paul took. Your attention to detail and obvious dedication to your craft is remarkable. My reason for coming to the Big Island was that I learned about this tour from the Dolphin University I attended on Oahu. This time, I finally got to participate, and I had high expectations.

The manta rays were truly enormous, coming so close with their mouths wide open that I thought they might bump into me. However, it was fascinating how they would spin around without hitting me.

It was an exhilarating experience and a lot of fun. I believe it was a rare opportunity to get so close to so many mantas. The boat ride to and from the point was thrilling as it went at high speed, which added to the enjoyment.

ハワイ島へ来るきっかけは、以前オアフで参加したイルカ大学でこのツアーを知ったことでした。この度、念願かない大いに期待して参加しました。
マンタは本当に大きくて、ぶつかるのではないかと思うほどすぐ近くまで大きな口を開けて近づいてきます。しかし、こちらには当たらずにくるりと回転するのが不思議でした。
大迫力で楽しかったです。たくさんのマンタにこんな接近できるなんて貴重な体験だったと思います。

I was worried if it would be okay since the kids are small, but the staff were all kind, and it seems the kids enjoyed themselves. It was also great that we could experience snorkeling and sea kayaking at spots where we could see not only dolphins but also fish and turtles. Everyone in my family saw the dolphins except for me σ(^_^;) I saw a lot of dorsal fins from a large group of dolphins σ(^_^;)

There are some things that can't be helped since it's nature, but I was able to encounter dolphins, although I only saw their dorsal fins. I couldn't see them swimming around in the water. I got my hopes up because the experience photos showed Masala donuts. We departed early in the morning without having time for a satisfying meal before boarding. There were no drinks or snacks during the ride, and we finally got a light meal around 11 o'clock, which included hamburgers, drinks, and snacks. Maybe I was expecting too much from the dolphins and the food.

It was truly a wonderful underwater walk where I could see sea turtles up close. The supporting divers were kind and efficient, which made me feel at ease even though I wasn't confident in my swimming skills, allowing me to complete the tour without worry.

The children also seemed to have a great time. Thank you very much.

In the morning, when the pickup was happening, I think my name was called twice, but I heard it from a different tour group. While I went to check there, the bus had already started to leave, and if I hadn't noticed, I would have been left behind. Other than that, everything was great.

ウミガメも近くに見れて本当に素敵な海底散歩になりました。サポートしてくれるダイバーさんが親切で手際がよくて、泳ぎに自信のない私も安心して、ツアーを終えることができました。

子供たちも、とても楽しかったようです。ありがとうございました。

朝、迎えの時、2回名前を呼んでもらったようなのですが、違うツアーの方から聞こえたので、そちらに聞きに行ってる間にもうバスの方へ歩き出していたいて、気が付かなければ、置いてけぼりになるところでした。

This was my first experience with my family. Personally, it was my third time, but I’ll briefly outline the pros and cons.

First, the pros:
1. The marina is very close to the points, so the total travel time is short.
2. The boat is large and comfortable.
3. There was a child who gets seasick on board, but since the points are close, I think it was relatively easy for them.

Now, the cons:
1. The explanations are only in English, but I don’t think that will be a problem.
2. The journey is short, so you can’t enjoy the scenery of Kona town.

Depending on the timing, I think the LED lights were strong, and we had a relatively good number of sightings.

I plan to come back here next time as well.

個人的には3度目でしたが簡単に長所と短所を書いておきます。

まず長所
1、マリーナからポイントまでが非常に近くに全行程の所要時間が短くて済む。
2、船が大きくて快適。
3、船酔いしやすい子が同船してましたがポイントまでが近いので比較的楽だと思います。

で短所
1、英語の説明しかないが困る事は無いと思う。
2、道中が短いのでコナの街の景色を眺める事が出来ない。

タイミングにもよると思いますがLEDのライトが強く比較的沢山来てくれたと思います。

次回からもここにしようと思います。
