However, since I went in the evening, the pool was too cold to enter, and I couldn't relax by the poolside either, so I only used the jacuzzi before heading back. This is my fifth time at the Mandara Spa at Hilton. Every time I go, it feels so good that I end up falling asleep. This time, I had a lomilomi massage on the first day I arrived in Hawaii. The swelling in my legs went away completely!

The only disappointing thing was that the jacuzzi was out of order and I couldn't use it. I really wanted to relax in the jacuzzi after my shower, so that was a letdown. But other than that, I have no complaints!

When I go back to Hawaii, I definitely want to visit again!

I added a head massage as an option to the 50-minute Lomi Lomi massage. Since my reservation was at 8 PM on Friday, it felt like the reception was already in shutdown mode. The jacuzzi was out of order, and perhaps wanting to wrap things up quickly, I was rushed through the sauna and mist after my shower. Yet, I had to wait nearly 10 minutes before the treatment, and it seemed like the head massage was significantly shortened. After the treatment, I was offered cold water instead of tea because they ran out, and the shower room was closed, so I couldn't rinse off the oil! Since I was staying at the Hilton, I left quickly, but if I had come from far away, I would have been furious. Overall, the service lacked elegance and hospitality (perhaps because I'm used to Japanese service). However, the Lomi Lomi massage was very pleasant, and the Frangipani oil used in the head massage had a wonderful scent, which greatly improved the condition of my hair afterward. The technique of the treatment was excellent, so it would have been a better experience if there hadn't been any negative aspects in the service. It might be nice to experience a more foreign style of service. For those considering participation, please take the reservation time into serious consideration. I absolutely do not recommend making a reservation close to closing time.

金曜日の20時予約だったので、なんだか受付からもう終了モード。
ジャグジーは故障中だったし、早く終わらせたいからか、シャワー後のサウナやミストもせかされました。
なのに施術までは10分弱待たされ、ヘッドマッサージもかなり短縮されたような。。
施術後はもうお茶がないからと冷たい水を出されたし、シャワールームがクローズされていて、オイルを流せないという状況！ヒルトンに宿泊していたからさっさと帰ったけれども、遠方からきていたら激怒ですね。
全体的に応対は優雅さやホスピタリティが足りないです。（日本のサービスに慣れているからかもしれませんが）
ただしロミロミマッサージはとても気持ちよく、ヘッドマッサージのフランジパンニオイルがすごく良い香りで、その後髪の状態は非常に良くなりました。
施術の技術はとても良かったので、その他対応でのマイナス面がなければという状況です。
外国らしい応対を経験するのはいいかも。
ご参加を考えている方には、予約時間を十分考慮して下さい。
終了間際の予約は絶対お勧めしません。

今回、仕事の都合で自分ひとりで１日先に行くことになった為、いつもと違う体験をしたいと考えマッサージを受ける事に決めました。
実は、他のアクティビティとダブルブッキングしている事に飛行機の中で気付きました。つまり日にちを間違えて予約してしまったのです。当日キャンセルは返金なしだと思っていましたのが、とりあえずホテルにチェックイン後、伺えない旨連絡を入れました。
英語での対応でしたが、他の日で都合の良い時間を聞いてくれたので、結果的に到着初日にマッサージを受ける事が出来ました。
私の受けたのは「ロミポハク」というものでロミロミマッサージとオイルマッサージが組み合されているものです。正直、期待していませんでしたが、全身の疲れている個所を丁寧ゆっくりと落着いた雰囲気の中、揉みほぐしてくれて、とても気持がよく眠ってしまうほどでした。今回はＹＯＫＯさんが担当してくれましたが、頭からつま先まで疲れがスーと抜けていく感じが実感できました。今年１２月に再度またハワイに行く予定なので、必ずまたリピーターとして受けたいと思います。本当に素晴らしい企画をありがとうございます。

I just LOVE going to the spa...and one of my favorite things to get done there is a manicure. I always get manicures back home, so when I saw the Fire and Ice option, I figured it would be kind of cool to mix it up a little bit and see what that was all about.

And I am really glad i did! It was just as good as a basic manicure like I usually get...but then added on to it some really neat gels that soothed and cooled my hands, and then used a warm stone to massage...man, the sensations colliding like that were really awesome. Loved it.

Left with my signature sweet sixteen pink nails, all buffed and beautiful! Happy as can be!

Happy moments pass by in the blink of an eye.
I always go to esthetic salons, but Hilton's "Mandara" is the best.
The staff's attention to detail was really impressive.
The locals in Hawaii are generally friendly, but perhaps due to the timing, there were no staff who spoke Japanese.
However, even though I couldn't understand English, they patiently explained things with gestures and made an effort to understand what I was saying.
I had booked a 50-minute course, but I think it's better to set aside just under two hours in total.

努力を感じることが出来ました。
申し込みは５０分のコースでしたが、
トータル的には２時間弱の時間をみておいた方が良いと思います。

My mother and I were very satisfied with our treatments, but my sister's therapist seemed to have dry hands, which made it a bit painful for her, and she was disappointed. We both ( me and my wife) liked the ambience of the establishment (in a quiet room of a busy hotel 1/2 block away from the beach). The staff were extremely polite and friendly and were very professional in their massage. Their selection of soothing melodies were especially appealing to us and the aromatherapy was a welcome addition.

Overall, i would recommend it to anyone looking for a way to quickly get the kinks out of their muscles and recover from a long journey to Hawaii. It prepared us for the hikes and the swims and the kayak rides we undertook during out trip.

Very satisfied.

You can't go to Mandara Spa in Japan for this price. The massage area is on a different floor from the reception. I was able to enjoy a relaxed and luxurious time.
