I went for a morning jog along the beach from my hotel in Waikiki to Kapiolani Park. I enjoyed group yoga with locals and Japanese participants from the tour.

In front of me was the sparkling blue ocean, and when I lay on my back, I could see the blue sky and the green trees swaying in the gentle breeze. The location was simply amazing, and it made my heart soar.

With my eyes closed, I was able to relax and do yoga while feeling the sounds of the waves and the wind. It was a truly wonderful experience, and I'm so glad I participated.

Teacher Tomoko and everyone else were friendly, and with diverse nationalities, ages, and levels of yoga experience, I felt comfortable participating at my own pace. It was the best experience, as I felt one with the sound of the waves, the birds, the pleasant breeze, and the blue sky, all while being shaded from the strong sunlight by the trees by the sea.

We took the HiBus Diamond Head line and got off at the Honolulu Zoo; it was easy to find the location as soon as we reached the beach. I wanted to join again during our stay, but our schedules didn’t match. I definitely want to come back the next time I'm in Waikiki. Thank you, Teacher Tomoko!

I arrived in Honolulu and had planned to relax in the spa and sauna until check-in at 4 PM, so I booked an expensive hotel spa. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the spa area was closed due to COVID-19 measures and could not be used. I went into the massage without warming up my body, so I didn’t feel relaxed at all, and I was really disappointed since I was looking forward to the spa.

If I had been informed that the spa area would be unavailable at the time of booking, I could have reserved a different place. I can't accept that the price remained the same despite the spa area being unavailable. I would like a refund for that portion.

The location is great, and it was just a short walk from the Sheraton. It's a bit hard to find since it's located at the back of the building. After taking the 90-minute course, my range of motion improved, and I was able to walk very lightly.

This place is a gem!! Our massage therapists were amazing. We did the 90-minute option and it was pure heaven. I was so relaxed that I felt like a pile of jello afterwards.

This spot is nestled in the Imperial hotel on the 2nd floor. We saw the elevators and tried to go up but realized we needed key access. When we stopped by front desk to ask, we were then abruptly told that only hotel guests were allowed to use those elevators - and that was the end of the conversation. It was only after I said that I was looking for the spa that I was directed another way to go up. This, of course, was not a reflection on the spa at all.

The spa itself was great and I am definitely going to go again!!

With 3 children that are 9 and under, we needed a relaxing massage. Aloha Therapy did just that! I researched ahead of time because I didn’t want to go to a sketchy place. They don’t have much online presence, but that’s because they had to close during the pandemic and recently reopened. They are on the 2nd floor of the Imperial Hawaii Resort and their pictures on Yelp are exactly what we saw in person. We bought two 60-minute Lomi Lomi massages and the two ladies that worked on us were super kind and attentive. At one point, my masseuse noticed a bruise on my leg and asked if it hurt, so that she could work around it. It was great that she noticed and wanted to provide the best service possible. The Lomi Lomi massage was FANTASTIC- long sweeping motions on my back and legs. I wish I would have booked 90 or even 120 minutes, but the massage was so good that even 60 minutes was well worth it. We’ve had massages in very expensive hotels in Monterey, Ca and this one tops it. My husband needed a lot of work on his back and shoulders and said he was surprised how strong his little masseuse was. They use their body weight on certain parts, and even stretched our legs (which felt very relieving since I rarely stretch). My masseuse starting with soft pressure but once I asked for firmer pressure, she adjusted and completely worked out all my kinks. For a few days, I had some back spasms running down my lower back and right bottom cheek- she massaged my back and bum so well that the pain was gone when I walked out! They ask you to keep your underwear on and tuck the sheet over it- very modest which I appreciate. When massaging my bottom, she used her elbows, etc which I think is how she was able to get deep into the muscle to fix the pain. One big plus- the masseuses never spoke to one another! So nice that all we heard was the relaxing music. We got bottled water at the end and walked out absolutely pleased- I would HIGHLY recommend Aloha Therapy & hope to come back soon!

I made a reservation for a 40-minute course for myself and my mother. After checking in, we were guided to the spa. We washed our bodies and hair, and after about 20 minutes, we were both called by name for our massages and taken to a different floor. It was written that we would alternate massages, but since we were called at the same time, I wondered if we would be able to receive our treatments at the same time.

We moved to the fourth floor and waited on the sofa. Shortly after, the massage therapist came and called my name, so I moved to the treatment room. My mother thought she would be called soon as well, so we parted in the lobby. However, when I returned to the lobby after finishing my 40-minute massage, I found my mother sitting on the sofa. I assumed her massage was over, but she had been waiting on the sofa for 40 minutes. She was shivering from the cold in just a robe after her bath.

After that, the person who treated me called my mother's name for her massage (the staff member spoke Japanese). I regret not confirming this, but if we were supposed to alternate treatments, I would have liked to be asked who would go first. My mother could have waited in the spa instead of sitting in a cold room for 40 minutes.

The staff were all very nice, but I would have appreciated clearer explanations. I regret not confirming the course procedures more thoroughly.

I wanted my nearly 70-year-old mother to enjoy the massage, but I felt sorry for the burden on her body and for making her wait. The treatment was good, but the plan was lacking.

てっきりマッサージが終わったのかと思ったらソファで40分ずっと待っているとのこと…
お風呂上がりにローブ1枚でクーラーがきいたところで寒いと震えていました。
その後、私の施術をした人が母の名前を呼びマッサージすることになりました。（日本語が話せるスタッフの方でした。）
確認しなかったこちらも悪いですが、交互に施術ということであれば、どっちが先にマッサージを受けるか？と聞いて欲しかったです。
母は寒い部屋で40分待ちぼうけになることもなくスパで待つこともできたのではないのでしょうか。
スタッフは感じのいい方ばかりですが、しっかりした説明がほしかったです。
自分がもっとコースの手順を確認していればよかったと後悔しました。　

70歳近い母にマッサージを喜んでもらいたかったですが、体への負担と気を遣わせてしまい申し訳なく感じました。
施術はよかったですがプランがいまいちでした。

I departed for Hawaii on a flight from Narita, arriving at 6:20 AM. From there, I took a taxi to the hotel, relaxed in the lobby, and then dropped off my suitcase before heading to Mandara Spa. I had a reservation for 10 AM, but check-in was at 9:30 AM.

We were called in two at a time, and in the meantime, we used the spa facilities.

I dozed off during the massage, but the spa was very beautiful, and my excitement for just arriving in Hawaii was high. The hotel check-in was at noon, and since my schedule was packed, I left the spa shortly after noon. It was a shame that I couldn't use the pool as well.

I highly recommend using this time for a nap from your arrival in Hawaii until check-in!

成田からの一便でハワイに向け出発、朝6時20分に到着してしまいました。そこからタクシーでホテルに行き、ロビーでまったりした後、スーツケースを預けて、マンダラスパへ向かいました。10時に予約も9時半にはチェックインとのこと。
2人順番に呼んで頂き、その間はスパを利用しました。

マッサージ中はうとうとしてしまいましたが、大変綺麗で到着したばかりのハワイでテンションはあがります。
ホテルが12時チェックイン、予定がぎっしりだったので、スパのみの利用で12時過ぎには出てしまいました。プールも利用出来るようで、勿体なかったです。

是非ハワイ到着からチェックインまでの仮眠としてお使いになられたら如何でしょうか？
