Was a awesome adventure, our tour guide Jake was so knowledgable, attentive, and very entertaining. We learned so much about the history of Hawaii. I was a little worried about the road to Hana, but could not have asked for a safer driver, we felt safe with him behind the wheel. Jake make sure we were happy, safe, and content. Food and drinks were always being offered. He was always ready to take pictures of us. the day just flew by. Will recommend this tour to everyone.

The guide was very kind.

According to the original schedule, lunch was supposed to be after horseback riding, but we had lunch before riding. Despite it being outside of regular hours, they ordered the garlic shrimp for us early, allowing us to enjoy the food from the North Shore.

It was my first time horseback riding, and the horses were adorable. I was nervous at first, but I got used to it during the ride, and the 90 minutes flew by.

The scenery was beautiful, and I definitely want to use this service again.

My friend and I decided to check this out as we were looking for something to do for the night. I have been to many Luau's before so I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but I turned out to be very wrong. the Chief was extremely funny throughout the whole night and he was also very interactive with the crowd. They had some fun activities before the Luau as well so that was fun. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great night with great people! Hands down the best Luau I have done.

First, Veltra was very easy to work with and very accommodating. I had to change the date of my excursion 3 times due to conflict involving the homecoming of a Navy vessel my son serves on. Once the date was locked in and we were able to visit the site it was a flawless experience. Ticket processing was easy and the museums were amazing. I will book through Veltra again. During summer just remember to arrive early to get the USS Arizona Memirial tickets since they do run out. It is a lot to accomplish in one day. We started at 7:45 and ended around 4:00pm.

There was a 20 minute boat ride to the fern grotto landing, time to take pictures, presentation of a Hawaiian Wedding song, complete with hula interruption and demonstration of various hula dances on the boat ride back. All in all - recommended tour.

The weather on this day was not great, and the visitor center was shrouded in clouds. I felt a bit anxious as everything was completely white, but thanks to my wife's handmade teru teru bozu, perhaps? The summit was beautifully clear! There were clouds at high altitudes, so we were able to witness an emotional sunset with a sea of clouds nearby.

The very enjoyable guide eased my worries about whether we would be able to observe the starry sky. What moved me unexpectedly was the conversation among the guides. Since the weather was bad that day, they were discussing how to provide information to ensure that the people on the tour at the mid-mountain could observe the starry sky in the best possible way. I was touched by the words, "We absolutely cannot afford to fail." Although the bad weather was not the guides' responsibility, many visitors to the Big Island may only come once in a lifetime. I was happy to feel that they were sincerely considering the unspoken hopes of the tourists and were searching for points where we could definitely see the stars.

Even though they must have seen this scenery many times, their excitement and emotional reactions were beyond that of the tourists, which helped to loosen and release my own heart, which often struggles to express emotions in daily life. Their spirit of genuinely wanting to create enjoyable memories and the guides' heartfelt enjoyment and excitement allowed us to truly feel and enjoy the experience as well.

The stunning starry sky could be captured by digital cameras, and if you ask the guide, they will adjust the settings for you. My camera couldn't take pictures of the starry sky, but the guide chose the best spots for photography that day. The photos taken can be downloaded for free, which is very appreciated. If you wish, they can also take a picture of your zodiac sign. With so many stars, it can be difficult to find it on your own, but with a professional's skill, it's perfect!

On the way back, we stopped at the visitor center for a restroom break, and it was completely clear, allowing us to see another magnificent starry sky.

The miso soup was delicious, and if I ever have the chance to visit the Big Island again, I would like to participate in a tour with Masashi Nature School.

どこまで行っても真っ白で不安もありましたが、奥さんお手製のテルテル坊主の御蔭か？
山頂は見事な晴れ！高い位置まで雲があったので、雲海も近く感動的なサンセットが見られました。

とても楽しいガイドに、星空観測できるのだろうか？という不安を消し飛ばしてくれます。なにげに感動したのは、ガイドさんどうしの会話です。
この日は天候が悪かったので、中腹で星空をみるツアーの人達もベストな形で星空観測できる様、情報提供しながら話し合っている様子。そこでの「絶対に失敗は許されないから～」という言葉。
悪天気はガイドさん達の責任ではないものの、一生に一度しか来られないであろう人が多いハワイ島。その声に出さない観光客の思いをしっかり受けて、確実に星空が見られるポイントを探してくれている気持ちが、嬉しかったです。

何度も見ているであろうこの景色も、観光客以上のテンションで感動する姿は、日常生活で固まって上手く感動を表現できない心をほぐし、解き放つきっかけとなりました。
本当に楽しい思いで作りをサポートしようという心意気と、心から自分も感動し楽しんでいるガイドさんの心を受け、私達も心から感動し楽しむ事が出来ました。

感動的な星空は、カメラによってデジカメでも写せるものがあり、ガイドさんにお願いすると調整してくれます。
私のカメラは星空の写真は撮れませんでしたが、ガイドさんがその日の最高の場所を選んで撮影してくれます。撮って頂いた写真は無料でダウンロードできるのでとても有り難いです。
希望すると自分の星座も撮ってくれます。あまりの☆の多さに自分ではうまく探す事さえも困難ですが、プロの腕にかかればバッチリです♪

帰りのトイレ休憩で立ちよったビジターセンターもすっかり晴れ、ここでもまた見事な星空が見られました。

味噌汁もおいしかったし、万が一にもまたハワイ島を訪れるチャンスがあれば、マサシネイチャースクールのツアーに参加したいと思います。

The passport is a fantastic way to see all of Pearl Harbor! Be prepared for a full-day, and definitely get there as early as you can. I was unable to secure a ticket to the USS Arizona online, so I arrived around 8:15 and got a ticket for 9:30, but the limited tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial were sold out by 11am, so get there early (especially in the summer)!

Since you cannot bring anything with you (other than what fits in your pockets) make sure to have some money for drinks and snacks and don't forget your camera! I'm not a huge WWII history buff, but it was a truly fascinating and moving experience being aboard the gleaming white memorial.

The USS Bowfin and Missouri are amazing if you have never been on a submarine or battleship before, and the Pacific Aviation Museum is excellent as well. This is definitely something I would recommend to any and all, just make sure to eat a good breakfast and wear comfortable shoes!

I had a wonderful experience. Moreover, they mentioned a campaign where you can download photos from their website, so when I checked after returning home, I found stunning pictures of the starry sky. I couldn't have captured that with my own camera. I was really happy. The discussion about the stars was very informative and educational. Since the altitude is high, some people felt unwell, but I think it's a view everyone should see at least once in their lifetime!

We had just visited the "Bunasé Underwater Park" in Okinawa last month, so we weren't too impressed by the fish, but we were amazed that the submarine went down to 30 meters.

My wife and I participated together. I had visited Oahu three times before, but it was my first time on the Big Island. The main purpose of my first trip to the Big Island was this tour of the "Mauna Kea Summit Sunset." I was worried about altitude sickness, but the guide explained how to avoid it while we were in the car, so there were no issues. However, I did get a bit out of breath when moving around at the summit, but the breathtaking starry sky, unlike anything I had ever seen before, made me forget my breathlessness. I was able to see the Milky Way and learned for the first time that starlight illuminates the ground. This is a tour I would love to join again if I have the opportunity to go to the Big Island.

If you're going to the Big Island, you definitely want to climb!
They provide hotel pick-up, lend you warm clothing, and even take memorable photos!

I used this for my honeymoon in late October. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day, and we couldn't see the sunset very well... There were also hardly any stars visible. After waiting anxiously for 30 minutes... suddenly the clouds cleared, and an astonishing starry sky spread out before us! There was also a funny incident where our guide got caught speeding by the police, but he was released with the amusing condition of writing a reflection letter^^;

It seems there are observation tours around the Onizuka Center, but this tour takes you higher up for observation, so the stars feel closer and more impressive! We also had plenty of time.

I highly recommend it.

星もほとんど見えない状態でした。
不安な気持ちで待つこと３０分・・・突然雲が晴れてきて驚くような星空が目の前に広がりました！
ガイドさんが慌てていたのか、途中で速度違反で警察に捕まるというハプニングもありましたが、反省文を書けばＯＫという面白い条件で解放されました^^;

オニヅカセンターあたりで観測するツアーもあるようですが、このツアーはそれより上で観測させてくれるので、星空が近くて迫力あります！
時間もたっぷりありました。

I read in reviews that there would be a long line, so I arrived more than 30 minutes early, but there was already quite a queue. I was a bit worried because it was drizzling, but by the time we were allowed in, it had cleared up, which was a relief. Once seated, all the announcements were in English, so I didn't understand much and just followed the movements of others. At first, we passed by the food line to get drinks like Mai Tai and fruit punch, while others were happily chatting, dancing, and checking out the whole roasted pig. I couldn't join in the conversation due to my limited English, which left me feeling a bit bored. About an hour later, everyone finally started to get their meals, so the two of us went to get ours. There were local dishes like ahi poke and poi, making for quite an enjoyable meal. The luau show that finally started featured a person dressed as King Kamehameha and various dances, and I thought it was well done, just as the reviews had said. As an impatient Japanese person, I felt the pace was a bit slow, but I came to understand that it allowed for a more leisurely enjoyment. I believe it was a show worth the price.

I wanted to go horseback riding at Happy Trails but didn't have a way to get there, so I found this tour. It was a relief to be taken to the hard-to-reach Happy Trails. I don't need the doll or this tree, though... The guide was very pleasant, and I had a great time participating. I will use this service again when I go horseback riding.
