We all enjoyed the ride. Savannah was a great guide and full of information on the local area. The horses were well groomed and behaved. The top of the mountain where we stopped for dinner provided gorgeous views. The dinner was good and so was the company. Gunstock Ranch was very beautiful, and the drive from Waikiki was beautiful too. I would definitely recommend it. Well worth it.

The weather was great on the day of the tour, and the sunset and stargazing were fantastic. The guide was very proactive in taking photos, had interesting stories, and was extremely kind. They provided complete cold weather gear, including top and bottom layers, a cute warm hat, and gloves. They also made sure to take breaks here and there to help us acclimate to the altitude. Both the guide and the experience were top-notch.

当日は天気も良く、サンセット＆星空観測は最高でした。
ガイドの方も積極的に写真を撮ってくれて話も面白くとても親切でした。
防寒対策も上下の防寒着、かわいい防寒用帽子、手袋等を準備してくれて万全でした。

We drove to the North in a rental car and participated in horseback riding with our family. The Hawaii Polo Club, where we were taken care of this time, is located along the coast, with a dreamlike setting of white sandy beaches next to vast polo fields. Although I only understand a little Japanese, the friendly staff were very kind to us, and we had a wonderful time that made me want to come back for sure. The pleasant breeze of the North felt on the horse's back, the blue sky of Hawaii—just amazing!!! I highly recommend it.

　レンタカーに乗ってノースまでドライブし、家族で乗馬に参加しました。今回お世話になったハワイポロクラブは海岸沿いの敷地で、白い砂浜と広大なポロフィールドが隣り合わせの夢のようなロケーションです。日本語は少ししか通じませんが、フレンドリーなスタッフに親切にしていただき、非常に楽しい時間を過ごす事ができ是非リピートしたいなって気持ちになりました。馬の背で感じるノースの心地良い風、ハワイの青い空、サイコー！！！お勧めです。

It was my first time riding a horse, but all the horses were very well-trained, so I felt comfortable. On the day we participated, everyone else was from the mainland. The tour is basically in English, but it's not at a difficult level, so even with a middle school level of English, you can communicate just fine. Occasionally, they also provide important points in Japanese, so I think you can participate without any issues even if your English is not great. You can absorb the unique charm of the Big Island that you can only experience here, so there's plenty of enjoyment and healing that only those who go can taste!

はじめての乗馬でしたが、とても躾けられたお馬さんばかりで大丈夫でした。
参加した日は、私たち以外は全員メインランドからの方々でした。
ツアー自体は基本的に英語ですが、そんなに難しいレベルではないので中学生英語程度の

The guide was very kind and it was really great! They willingly took many photos and the explanations were well done, making the ride back enjoyable without any boredom. The tour was really good, but even though it was early April, it was incredibly cold up there, so even with the down jacket they lent me, I caught a cold the next day since I'm sensitive to the cold... So, I think it's a good idea for those who go to bring a heat pack.

The stargazing was too cold, so we quickly went back to the car, but it was incredibly beautiful and moving.

I was happy that the photos could be downloaded for free. I’ve been on other tours with this company, but I found that there are no bad guides. I think everyone is very well trained.

When I go to Hawaii again, I plan to look for tours with this company.

I participated with guide Fujitani. I managed to catch the sunset, but unfortunately, the starry sky was disappointing. It couldn't be helped since it was up to the weather. However, I was able to see the stars from a spot a little lower down the mountain♪ I was glad I could take some photos.

What was a bit disappointing was when I looked at the blog. There were many photos uploaded by the members of guide Matsuzaki, but not many of Fujitani's members were featured. In fact, it was only the photos taken by Matsuzaki, so I thought I would like to request Matsuzaki as my guide next time.

The cold weather gear was perfectly prepared, and although we brought some from Japan, we didn't need it at all. The provided cold weather gear included:
- Ski wear (top and bottom)
- Gloves
- Wool hat
- Hot drinks
and it was prepared for the number of people. If you're worried, it might be good to bring a hot pack.

Overall, it was a fun tour.

でも、少し下山した所からは星空を見ることが出来ました♪

少し残念だったのが、ブログを見たときです。
合流したマツザキさんガイドのメンバーさんはたくさんの写真がアップされていましたが、フジタニさんガイドのメンバーはあまり写っていませんでした。
そもそもマツザキさんが撮った写真だけでしたので、
次回参加する時はマツザキさん指名でお願いしたいと思いました。

防寒具もバッチリ準備されており、ある程度日本から準備して行った私達でしたが、
全くいりませんでした。
用意されている防寒具は、
・スキーウエア―程度の防寒具(上下)
・手袋
・毛糸の帽子
・温かい飲み物
など人数分準備されています。
もし、心配でしたらホカロンを持参すると良いかもしれません。

トータル楽しいツアーでした。

After finishing our meal, we headed to the summit by car. I had seen it on TV, but when we arrived at the summit, it felt like we had come to a star somewhere in the universe. I was also moved to be able to drive to a place higher than Mount Fuji. While getting out of the car and taking pictures, I felt a bit dizzy, and I thought about what Mr. Konno had said about the thin oxygen. There were many clouds, so we couldn't see the sunset. I have been to Hawaii over a dozen times and have been to Haleiwa and Giovanni's. This time, I didn't rent a car, so I joined a tour. My main goal was horseback riding, but I was also looking forward to shopping and dining in Haleiwa.

The driver seemed to be a veteran, and while you could say he was experienced, I felt like he didn't understand the excitement we had for participating in the tour. For example, when I requested Giovanni's, he repeatedly said, "It was featured on TV," and everyone else went to Macky's. I also got the impression that he somewhat dismissed Matsumoto Shave Ice, and we ended up going there just the two of us.

We were able to see sea turtles at the first beach we visited, but due to the reason that we couldn't stop the car, we were told to "return to the car right after taking photos."

Horseback riding was very enjoyable and became a great memory.

I'm not good with thrill rides, but I saw this on TV and wanted to try it, so I made a reservation. They often say it changes your perspective on life, but in my case, it didn't change much. Depending on the season, it might be different, but in mid-March, it gets cold up high, so I thought it would be safe to wear a sweatshirt and sneakers, and I think that was the right choice. During the free fall, I couldn't breathe and it was tough. So next time, I want to do a plan with a lower altitude. After the parachute opened, it really felt like I was a bird, and I could visibly see the curvature of the Earth, which was an indescribable feeling. I definitely want to do it again!

I participated with my 11-year-old son. The path to the tubing area was bumpy, which I was worried about, but it seemed to be fun for him as well. The water was a bit cold. (The men were wearing either T-shirts or swimsuits. If it's a T-shirt, polyester is better than cotton.) There were five tunnels (if I remember correctly), and we used lights to go through them, but we were instructed to turn off the light in one of them, which was thrilling. There were also parts with fast currents, which were enjoyable. It felt a little short, though. The lunch was delicious.

The mistake was with the hotel. Our hotel was in the Poipu area, and there was no shuttle service to the location, so we had to take a taxi. It took about 30 minutes and cost $50. That might have made the activity time feel even shorter.

I participated with my 11-year-old son. Our guide, Brandon, was friendly even to Japanese people and spoke in polite English. There were 13 people in our group, and first, we went to the bamboo jungle. The path was a bit long, but even for someone like me who usually doesn't exercise, it was manageable. It's better to avoid shoes with very shiny soles. Even if it's sunny on the day, the ground is often wet. They provide bug spray, but if you're wearing shorts, mosquitoes can get in from your pants, so I think long pants are better.

After that, we got into a car, drove up the mountain, switched to bicycles, and descended while stopping when cars came. The speed was just right, and since the weather was perfect that day, it was very comfortable. The bicycles were regular ones, not mountain bikes. The ones for smaller kids had a shape similar to mountain bikes. We had lunch at a spot where we could see Diamond Head and the beach, which was also delicious. Hiking while listening to the chirping of birds and the sound of the stream felt energizing.

One thing to note is that the bike ride is mostly downhill. There are some sharp turns, so children who have just started riding might find it scary. One child in our tour tried but seemed unable to continue and ended up in the support vehicle. Another vehicle supports the tour, so those who don't participate in biking can ride in the car.

そのあと、車にのって、山をのぼり、自転車に乗り換え、車がきたら停止しながらくだっていきます。スピードもちょうどよく、その日は最高の天気だったこともあり、とても快適でした。　自転車はマウンテンバイクでなく、ふつうの自転車です。小さい子用のは、マウンテンバイクっぽい形です。　途中ダイヤモンドヘッドやビーチの見えるところでランチ。これもおいしい。鳥のさえずりや小川の音を聞きながらのハイク。パワーをもらえた感じがしました。
注意点は、自転車はほぼ下りです。曲がりがきついところもあるので、自転車にのれるようになって間もない子は怖いかもしれません。（同じツアーの子で、やってみたけど、無理だったようで、車にのっていました。もう一台の車がサポートするので、バイクに参加しない子は車にのってくだります。）

At the star observation point, two other cars joined us, and we shared two telescopes to look at the stars. Climbing Mount Fuji is hard, but since you can drive to a mountain over 4,000 meters, my parents in their 70s who joined me were also moved, saying, "I can't believe we can climb such a high mountain at this age." The guide was kind and careful while driving to avoid altitude sickness.

On the way to the summit, encountering wildlife and stargazing was breathtaking; I don't think I've ever seen so many beautiful stars, and my heart was filled with the richness of nature. I was also impressed by the guide's knowledge as they explained the constellations clearly using a laser pointer. I believe this is a tour that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

　富士山に登るのはハードだけど、4000メートル級の山に車で行けるので一緒に参加した70代の両親も「この歳でこんな高い山に登れるなんて」と、感動してました。高山病にならないよう、気を遣いながら運転してたガイドさんも親切で良かったです。
　山頂までの道中で、野生動物に遇ったり、星空観測は、こんなにたくさんの星を見たことないと思うくらい綺麗で、自然の豊かさに心が満たされました。
　レーザーポインターを使いながらわかりやすく星座の説明をしてくれたガイドさんの知識も感動。子供から大人まで楽しめるツアーだと思います。

My husband and I chose to zipline here as it was recommended by my parents who have been here and other places on Kauai. They said this was the best and I believe it! My husband is afraid of heights and wasn't sure how he would do... but he LOVED IT!! Don't let that scare you. The crew is awesome and we want to go everytime we visit now. I used this service for my honeymoon. We stayed at Hapuna Beach Prince and had a pick-up at 15:15, which was almost on time. On the way, we stopped to take pictures with horses and lava, and enjoyed explanations about the flowers.

When we arrived at the Onizuka Center, we were lent warm clothing and had our lunch. I was excited, thinking, "Now, we’re finally heading to the top of Mauna Kea..." but when I looked at the road, I saw the sign saying "ROAD CLOSED."

It was a major event of the trip, so I couldn't accept the reality. The tour guide tried hard, but the road never opened. We climbed a hill near the Onizuka Center to watch the sunset (which was beautiful in its own right) and saw some stars in the parking lot, but unfortunately, the clouds obscured much of the view.

On the way back to town, the clouds cleared a bit, so the guide stopped the car for us to see the stars, and we were able to enjoy a stunning starry sky. We also took pictures with the stars, which we can receive online later. On the way back, we stopped by a supermarket.

町への帰り道、途中で雲が切れたので星を見る為に車を停めてくれて、満点の星空が見れました。星空との写真も撮影してくれ、後日ネットから受け取れます。
帰りにはスーパーに寄ってもらいました。

今回は、残念な結果になってしまいましたが、ガイドさんは感じよく、一生懸命働いてくれましたし、天候ばっかりは誰のせいでもないので、また次回リベンジしたいと思います。

I decided to come here because I heard it's the only place on Oahu where you can trot and canter. The sensation of running through the vast nature, feeling the wind while cantering, is just amazing!

I climbed a mountain and was able to see the beach from the top. The scenery is just beautiful!

Although only English is spoken, I think as long as you understand the terms for trot and canter, you can manage while riding. They also have helmet rentals, and you can easily go with just jeans and sneakers.

The location was a bit far from Waikiki, so I took a taxi. It took about an hour and a half one way, and the fare was around $130. It felt great to drive along the coastal highway. I think having a rental car would be convenient.

We took a small Cessna up into the sky, and it was really scary as we kept climbing higher and higher. However, the staff who flew with us reassured me by saying, "It's okay!" which made me feel at ease. I made some great memories.

I did it thinking it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience! But I want to do it again!! It felt amazing! However, as the reviews said, the wait is really long! I read the reviews and went by rental car, but I checked in before 9 AM and waited 3 hours until the flight... It seemed like they prioritized the shuttle people. If that’s the case, they should either stagger the check-in times from the beginning or let us know that we would be waiting for 3 hours, so we could have gone sightseeing during that time!! The DVD is a bit pricey, but I'm glad I asked for it! They edit it really cool!

My husband and I participated the day after our arrival in Maui, but due to bad weather, we couldn't see the stars at the summit because it was foggy. We returned and rescheduled for two days later to try again.

I heard that the only way to do a comeback with just the cost of lunch and the national park entrance fee (a total of $15) is through Maui All Stars.

Two days later, the weather improved, and we were able to see a sea of clouds, a beautiful sunset with the green flash, the shadow of the Earth, and a bright moon close to full moon, along with a moonbow that can only be seen when there is no water vapor in the distance.

Our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, mentioned that since the full moon was approaching, the stars were not as visible as usual, but we were still able to see many stars, including those not visible in Japan, the profile of Mickey on the moon, and the stripes of Jupiter.

While listening to explanations under the stars, they provided chairs, large blankets, and warm tea, allowing us to lean back and slowly gaze at the stars. Standing and looking up can be tiring on the neck, but sitting in a chair is very comfortable.

This is also a thoughtful gesture from Mr. Yamauchi based on his experience. He set up the telescopes and arranged chairs for the participants without even having lunch himself. It's no surprise that many people have commented on Mr. Yamauchi's character in their experiences.

お弁当と国立公園の入園料（計＄１５）のみでリベンジできるのは、マウイオールスターズだけだと聞いています。

２日後は天候も回復して、雲海、美しいサンセットと共にグリーンフラッシュ、地球の影、そして満月近くの明るい月と遠くに水蒸気が発生していないと見えないムーンボウまで見ることができました。

ガイドの山内さんは満月が近いから星がいつもよりは見えていないとおっしゃいますが、星もたくさん見ることができ、日本では見えない星、月面の横顔ミッキー、木星の縞模様も見られました。

たくさんの星を見ながら説明を聞く時は、イスと大きいブランケット、温かいお茶を用意して下さるので、背もたれに頭を預けて上を向いてゆっくり星が見られます。
立って上を見ていると首が疲れますが、イスに座るととても楽チンです。

これも山内さんのご経験からの心遣いです。
お弁当も食べずに参加者のためにイスを出して望遠鏡などをセットしていらっしゃいました。
体験談で山内さんのお人柄にふれている方が多いのも納得です。


普段なかなか星を見る機会がないので、山内さんのお陰でとても貴重な体験ができました。
次回はなるべく満月から遠い時に参加したいと思います。
