We were in Maui for 3 days and decided we wanted to do a dinner cruise. The staff was amazing and the views were awesome. The food was just okay in my opinion but overall, we weren't bothered since we had a great time!

Had such a great time on this cruise! It was such a good deal for the price. The boat isn’t huge, but once you get out on the water, you’re standing around the edge looking out at the gorgeous views anyways. Staff was very accommodating and funny, made the experience so much better. The drinks were great and we even got a 4th one as well as a little longer of a cruise as we took our time to head back to shore to see the sun set. Would recommend for anyone looking for a fun little booze cruise!

Captain Cindy and Chelsea were so nice. It was my birthday and they made me feel so special. The drinks were flowing and they even provided a speaker for all of my friends and I to use. We had forgotten to get food and they had provided us an assortment of finger sandwiches to snack on. We watched the sunset and jumped off the boat. Honestly that experience was the highlight of my entire birthday trip in Hawaii. I will not hesitate to come back to them next time I am in Hawaii on the Big Island !

The service was Great, the Food was SO GOOD .. just wish dinner came with a roll.. The view from the water is Awesome.. The water got really choppy by Diamond Head so Captain turned us back around and the water calmed down. for a nice cruise back.

It was a great sail, no issues. We saw dolphins and one whale.

It was a great evening for sailing. The Captain and crew were very nice and got along well with everyone. We saw dolphins and one . The food was catered and was pretty good. Salad, grilled chicken and white rice.
We had to wait for a few couples before we could leave but we stayed out a little longer.

The crew is fun and informative. Great views of the island from the water and even saw some whales breaching. Made for some great pictures and we saw the "green flash" as sunset! You take a tender to the boat and do have to walk into the water a bit so just make sure you have on shorts or something you can lift up while getting on and off. Bring cash for tip and any extra drinks. Departs from the beach behind the Marriott which was super convenient if you're staying here.

Dirty boat and disgusting drinks

The only reason this sail trip gets 2 stars is because crew didn’t sink the boat. Anything else was awful: boat was filthy, drinks were disgusting pre-mix maitais watered down; that is not to mention there were more people than seats.
Ocean and views of the island are great but that is not Manu Kai’s contribution.
We’ve done 10 sail trips in various Hawaiian islands- this was the worst of all.
It is cheap compared to others so if you’re after outstanding views for least money this trip will do the job.

Just did the Snorkel and Sunset dinner cruise. I would definitely do this again. The. Staff was absolutely awesome and very very patient. I sometime feel very constrained with all the rules but the staff did a very good job explaining why they have to do what they do to keep all of us safe and still have the best time. The music was great, the food was wonderful. And everybody on the boat seemed to have a good time. Oh and the sunset on the water was epic. I highly recommend this to all!

Super nice guys who manned this sunset sail. The price to do this was very reasonable and the VIEWS of Diamond Head and the Waikiki skyline at sunset were priceless. We even had a whale sighting-SO COOL!!! Would do this again a million times.

Our cruise was so much fun, the crew are incredibly fun and accommodating. They played great music, the boat was really nice, and the cruise was beautiful. I got really sea sick about halfway through and the crew was so kind and helpful when I felt ill. They had a towel and bucket ready and made sure I had plenty of water. 5 star service and fun crowd! Would go again (with Dramamine next time)

A beautiful and relaxing cruise

Captain Kurt and Dave gave us a beautiful and relaxing cruise. This was something the whole family can do. We were hoping to see some whales but they were a little too shy this trip. We did have a great snorkel spot. Dave showed the best spots to see sea life. My 2 year old grandson got into the ocean for the first time. Captain Kurt was able to assist some of our family into and out of the ocean safely. Dave brought up a starfish and a sea anemone so my grandson could see and touch them before releasing them back into the ocean.

The sunset cruise was a great way to celebrate my moms 60th birthday. Heather, Sequoia, and Zoey aka the Dream Team did a great job making sure each and every guest felt special and enjoyed their day. The scenery was beautiful and we were blown away by the whales and dolphins that we were able to see up close. It was definitely a night to remember!

We really enjoyed this trip! Outside of season and due to covid, the cruise was not even 50% booked. Thus, it was a very relaxing experience, where everyone could always enjoy the best view on the setting sun or Waikiki Beach. We went out for sunset and returned in the dark, so we had the skyline fo Waikiki Beach at night, which was also stunning.
You can bring your own drinks - if you like cocktails, just bring some vodka or rum and ask for a glas with juice, that would fit well. We had a bottle of pre-mixed Mai Tai from the superstore with us, which we extended with juice on board (which made it more drinkable than right out of the bottle).
we liked it, that the boat was not very big with 2 levels and everyone could sit on the top; we saw other ships, which were pretty large and we were happy to be on a smaller cruise.
