2-Hour Moana Sailing Waikiki Sunset Cruise with Drink Included
Sunset? Mostly. Dinner? .... Yes, technically. Cruise? Yes. The romantic sunset dinner cruise we were expecting? Not really.

Disappointing! This excursion was marketed as a sunset dinner cruise. There was a boat - and a takeout bag of overpriced food, but no tables. The information provided did not include the type of attire that was appropriate for the boat or even how long the trip was. For the price of the trip and meal, I expected to at least not to have to juggle my food on my lap. The crew was nice, but they also made sure we were positioned to be back dockside as soon as the sun broke the horizon. If you are looking for a quick, casual romp, this might work for you - but if you are looking for a romantic dinner cruise - this may not be it.

Mai Tai Sunset Cruise

Mai Tais were pretty bad, for a “Mai Tai cruise.” I could drink one, but not worth the second. Many switched to beer after their first drink. We cruised out further than most other boats, but a lot of us got very wet due to high waves. It probably would’ve been nicer to stay in calmer waters and closer to the shore, like most of the other boats did. Still a nice sunset cruise. The deck hands and captain were great!

Nice Cruise But Food Was Lacking

Nice Cruise But Food Was Lacking. We were at a table with another couple whom also didn't enjoy the meal. The prime rib was well done which isn't how prime rib is supposed to be made and the chicken was tough and both meals had to put some Work in to cut the meat. The other couple had the same and felt the same. For the price the food should definitely be better. Other than the food the cruise and entertainment were nice.

Such a vibe!

I had such a great time on the boat. It was so pretty to be able to catch the sunset while drinking with my best pals. The bartender was hilarious and so friendly! We went in April and it was a bit chilly out in the water so I would bring a light jacket.

We had a great trip! We were celebrating my parents' 40th anniversary and the captain and crew were all very kind - they congratulated them, helped us get comfortable, served us drinks, all the good stuff. It was a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend it to all!

The entertainment was so much fun to watch and the staff and service was great. We were sitting elbow to elbow with the tables next to us which was very uncomfortable. Way too crowded. Way way way too crowded. Another huge disappointment was the food. Overall I would not recommend for the price. Maybe if you can find a discounted ticket it would be worth it.

Out on the water is one of the best places to see the sunset. Crew was super friendly and accommodating. Boat is beautiful. Great experience for a great price!

This is the second time I have been on the Mana Kai Catamaran. The first time was with family and the second time was a boys reunion trip. This low-key, good vibes sail will give you all the island spirit you need as you enjoy great times, amazing views and an awesome sailing team. Captain Kaeo and his sail mate, Andreas, made us feel relaxed and at home quickly. I highly recommend this for couples, families with older children and friends. Mahalo, Captain Kaeo and Andreas! Loved this experience. The hosts waited for everyone to arrive and had everything very organized. The mai tai was great and they had other beverage options as well. The boat goes out to diamond head so you get a beautiful view along with the sunset. Would 100% do it again!

Overall the sunset cruise was a good experience. Really awesome staff. Open bar was pretty fun and they always try to keep your drink full. Food was average and was still a little hungry after. Breath taking sunset though. It was also a sand dock so we had to walk through the water to get on the boat. That was not advertised. Wading in water up to knees. Older folks might struggle. My client was also in slacks which was not ideal if we knew that going in but I as ok.
Walking through the water wasn’t bad if you knew that it was coming It would have been great to be advised to dress in shorts and flip-flops.

A Beautiful Night on the Ocean!

The captain and servers were very friendly and informative. We throughly enjoyed our evening on the ocean with gorgeous views of the Na Pali Coast. We even spotted some humpback whales. The sea was a little rough but the servers were able to walk around like they were on dry land.
