This is my second time on the 5-Star cruise. This time, I wanted to see the fireworks on Friday, so I made a reservation here.

I enjoyed the meal and Hawaiian-style cocktails. By the time I was seated, the appetizers were already prepared, and the lobster and salad were easy to eat.

If you want to relax and enjoy a calm atmosphere, I recommend the window-side seats on the 3 or 5-Star cruises.

This had a small take out dinner, dance music that felt like we were at the bar and the workers pushed for you to drink alcohol. In other words, this trip wasn’t attended to go as a family trip.

Besides the expectations going in - it was good, just wouldn’t go again. That’s not our scene.

The dance show, Hawaiian performances, and the friendly staff made for a wonderful time spent with people from various countries. The fireworks from the Hilton viewed from the ship were amazing. Since it was around the Obon holiday in August, there were hardly any people wearing masks, and dining and shopping were comfortable. Next time, I want to try a buggy ride.

On the last day of my trip to Hawaii, I participated in a sunset cruise. The ride was relatively calm with little rocking. I chose the buffet course. To be honest, the food was just okay. There were items like yakisoba, and the main roast beef felt a bit thin. You have to pile salads and other dishes onto one large plate. Since there are quite a few customers, you're prompted to line up for the food in order of seating.

I was wondering if this was how it was supposed to be, but after watching the final Hawaiian show, I felt that the price was worth it. The dancers changed costumes one after another and showcased various dances, allowing me to fully enjoy the Hawaiian atmosphere.

1. I booked sit down dinner, not buffet, overall food presentation look good, taste good too. Drinks are good too.
2. Service is just so so, the server for my table never gets me things I asked for, example, refill water, lemon, and my second glass of drink, I understand it's a busy task and have to serve all plates and take finishing plates away, and each server takes care of couple tables, but this should not be used as an excuse for service quality.
3. The show is good, but it's kind short, I wish we can see the full stage of Luau show, but the center stage is pretty small, so in order to accommodate every guest, they always have couple dancers on each side,

We had a great time at Pacific Star as a couple. Since I can't eat lobster, we participated in the buffet style. The seats were quite close to the people next to us, but they called each table in order to go get food, so it wasn't a problem. A huge number of people lined up to board the cruiser. I was a bit worried about whether I would have a seat since I arrived later by shuttle bus, but they had properly arranged tables for our group, so I was able to sit down.

The lobster was packed with meat, and the steak looked boiled on the outside but was rare and tender on the inside—so delicious that it might have surpassed a steakhouse.

Since I made a reservation for Friday, I was able to see the fireworks from the Hilton and also enjoyed the sunset, which was fantastic. By the way, it seemed like about half of the guests were Japanese.

We were the only Japanese couple, but a foreigner in front of us spoke to us and took our picture with their phone. Thanks to them, we have a great memento. The sunset from the boat was the best memory.

This is my fifth time in Hawaii, and my husband’s third. We’ve come for the Honolulu Marathon and with friends this time. It’s our second trip to Hawaii with this couple.

We participated in a cruise for the first time. There were times when the sunset by the window was hot, but it was absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing! The sunset was stunning! The dancing and, above all, the music were incredibly fantastic. My husband was dancing.

I want to go again and highly recommend it. Thank you!

ホノルルマラソンや、友人ときたり。今回は友達夫婦と来ました。友人夫婦とは2回目のハワイ。

The night view of Waikiki Beach and the sunset over the vast ocean
The scenery was amazing no matter which way I looked.
The food, including lobster and steak, was substantial and very satisfying.
Honestly, due to the unprecedented weak yen, the cost for our family of four was quite challenging, but
I took the plunge to participate, and it turned out to be a wonderful memory.

The food, service, and entertainment were very good. The trip was organized well. Very clean facility and the experience was so enjoyable. We loved the sunset and fireworks while onboard. We'd take friends along on another cruise in the future. This is a great idea for special occasions.
