On 12/19/23 I went on Star of Honolulu, and participated in the Pacific Star Buffet Package. Finding the boat was easy due to it's large size. Walking up we were greeted by real hula dancers, that really set the vibe for the evening. Upon boarding the ship there was staff along the way that assisted in finding your section.

The ship is very large in size, and was so much fun to explore. The top deck was my favorite part, but definitely bring a sweater it can get a bit chilly! I recommend visiting the top deck as the sun is setting for your perfect kodak moment on the water, and once again when it gets' dark to see the beautiful city lights, and view of Diamond Head Crater.

The severs were very studious, and genuine when checking on our table. The buffet line went very quickly, hardly a wait at all! The food was delicious, with many options for all dietary needs. Being mainly plant based I was impressed by all the plant based sides, my favorite was the tofu salad! They even have a vegan patty upon request.

The show, and production was very engaging for the whole family. If you are traveling with a large group including children, I recommend the Pacific Star package there is something for everyone!

I don't understand Japanese at all, but it was a fun cruise. We go quite far offshore. It's great that drinks are free. Since we go further offshore than I expected, the waves might be a bit concerning, so those who are prone to motion sickness might want to take some medication before boarding.

The team at Waikiki Sailing were a well-oiled sailing machine! The directions provided in the confirmation email were clear and easy to follow. Check in was smooth and the beach boarding only splashed us up to our shins. We decided to sit on the catamaran netting on a particularly windy day and were warned about getting splashed multiple times. We endured the soaking and had an amazing time, plus the crew helped grab our empties and snacks so we could continue to enjoy. I recommend Waikiki Sailing 10,000 times over!

Guaranteed window-side or private seating! We participated in the 3-star (lobster & steak) experience with my husband.

First, we got off the shuttle bus and entered the ship, but there was no guide, and we didn't know where to go. Following the crowd to the second floor, we were told, "You are on the first floor," and after going down, we still didn't know which room or seat to go to. We finally managed to find a staff member who helped us get to our seats.

Later, I realized that the sticker given on the shuttle bus had the floor number written on it... However, with hundreds of people boarding, I really wished there had been some guidance on where to go when we got on the ship.

Then, the toast performance started right away, but our glasses were empty, and we toasted with empty glasses. I thought they would come to take drink orders, but the servers were too busy, and it was impossible. When the lobster was brought to us, I asked to place a drink order, but I was told to wait, and it took a long time to get someone. I finally managed to order when the server brought drinks to the people at the next table. I mentioned that we didn't have the toast champagne, but it was never brought to us afterward.

Finally, our drinks arrived, but I ordered a non-alcoholic drink, and when I tasted it, it clearly had alcohol in it. I wanted to get it changed, but the server was always busy, so it was impossible. When the steak was brought, I told them it was not what I ordered and asked for a change, but again, nothing came. During the main course, I hadn't been able to drink even a drop, so I ended up drinking self-serve water (laughs). I gave up on my order and tried to order my husband's second drink when they came to clear the steak plates, but that also never arrived.

The plan includes two drinks per person, but I felt it was impossible to drink two in the two-hour cruise. By the way, I'm not fluent in English, but I can manage some conversation.

I've been to Hawaii several times, so I didn't expect Japanese-style service, but I was quite disappointed. Although we had a window-side seat, the windows on the first floor were dirty from the water splashes, so I couldn't take any pictures through the window.

On the other hand, the performers were doing their best to entertain everyone. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset due to the clouds, but it was a great opportunity to see Waikiki from the ocean side, and the scenery and night view were lovely.

There are many good reviews, so maybe I just had an off experience, but for about 66,000 yen for two people with transportation included, I can't recommend it to anyone, and I won't be repeating this experience.

そしてすぐ乾杯のパフォーマンスが始まりましたが、私たちのグラスにシャンパンは入っておらず、空のグラスのまま乾杯。
ドリンクの注文は聞きに来てくれるだろうと待ってましたが、サーバーが忙しくしていて全然無理。ロブスターを運んできた時にドリンクオーダーをお願いしたがちょっと待ってと言われ、なかなか来ず。隣の席の人のドリンクを運んできた時に再度声かけてやっと注文できました。そのときに乾杯のシャンパンがなかった旨伝えましたが、その後持ってくることはありませんでした。
やっとドリンクが来ましたが、私はノンアルを頼んだのに飲んだら明らかにアルコールが入っていてトホホ…。変えてもらおうにもずっとサーバーが忙しくしていて無理。ステーキを運んできたときに、注文したものと違うから変えてほしいと伝えました。が待ってもやはり来ず。メイン食べてる時にもドリンクが一滴も飲めていないという状況、私もうセルフのお水飲みました（苦笑）。私の注文はもう諦め、ステーキのお皿を下げにきた時に主人の2杯目のドリンクを注文したけど、これまた最後まで運ばれることはありませんでした。プランには1人2杯のドリンクが含まれていますが、2時間の乗船で2杯飲むことは不可能だと感じました。
ちなみに英語は堪能ではありませんが、ある程度の会話はできます。
ハワイには何回か行っていますので、日本のようなサービスを期待してはいませんが、なんかガッカリでした。
窓側席でしたが、1階の窓は水しぶきで汚れてますので、窓越しに写真なんて撮れません。
ちなみにパフォーマンスの方はみんなを楽しませようと頑張っていました。
くもりでサンセットは残念ながら見れませんでしたが、ワイキキを海側から見る機会はないので景色や夜景は素敵でした。
良い口コミが多いので、私がハズレに当たっただけかもしれませんが、送迎付き2人で約66,000円、誰かにオススメもできませんし、リピートはないです。

Personnel were wonderful. Great energy for having a fun time. The view of the city at night is spectacular as was the sunset. The food was okay. It is difficult to plate for the number of passengers and have it delivered hot in a timely manner. This was better than some experiences but not the best, which happened in Europe. Overall, it was a fun evening in a beautiful city.

We had a wonderful time! The sunset in Hawaii was beautiful, and we even got to see fireworks at the end, which made both the kids and parents very happy. At the end, we had a moment to celebrate the anniversary person, and when I handed over a paper with their name, they called out the name and celebrated the birthday as well! Each person received three drink tickets, so we could enjoy some alcohol, and the kids had tropical juices, which they loved. It would have been nice to have options for rice in addition to just bread. This was a request from the kids who wanted to eat meat and rice. I would love to participate again when I go back to Hawaii.

I was recommended by a travel agency to join this trip as a couple, and I participated. I was actually worried because of some negative reviews, but it was amazing! The scenery was truly breathtaking. Dinner while watching the sunset was the best. I took a lot of photos after going out to the deck. The mocktails were delicious and very Hawaiian. The lobster was large, meaty, and tasty. There were live singing, hula dancing, and haka performances, and we arrived at the peak of excitement when everyone danced to YMCA together. It was truly a wonderful experience. Thank you very much.

Fun but very bumpy and wet

The boat itself was nice and the crew were lovely. Thankfully there was a place to hide slightly from the waves but it's also where the sea sickness gets really bad. My 14 son started to not feel well then a lady across from him got sick so that didn't help.

When they say it's an "adventure and you WILL get wet" they aren't lying. There were huge ups and downs and everyone was soaked.

The food was good and again the crew was lovely.

Definitly not a "smooth dinner cruise"

I participated in the Star of Honolulu! We gathered at the designated meeting point, the Hilton's Islander drop-off, where staff holding a sign arrived 15 minutes early. Each person received a sticker to place on their bags or clothes. The flow was very clear, and we boarded a large bus with about five groups. After about 15 minutes, we arrived near Aloha Tower and entered the Welcome Honolulu. The staff guided us to our table seats based on the sticker numbers.

We enjoyed a meal with live music and had free time. I took a stroll around the ship to capture the sunset as quickly as possible; it was wonderful to have that freedom. After returning to our seats, the showtime began, expressing Hawaii's history through hula dance. I had given up on visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center because it was too far, but the content was similar, and I felt happy to see it right in front of me on the Honolulu, which everyone from children to the elderly could enjoy.

The ship had minimal rocking, and I took motion sickness medication just in case, but it was fine. The comfortable seats and breeze made the time fly by! On the way back, we were safely guided to the bus according to our stickers back to the hotel. I participated with my elderly father, but there were many people who came alone. The flow made it completely fine to enjoy even if you’re by yourself. After returning home, it’s definitely a memorable experience that makes you want to participate again in this gentle cruise.

生演奏付きの中、お食事しフリータイム。途中なるべく早くサンセット撮影に船内をお散歩、自由が最高です。お席に戻りショータイムスタートハワイの歴史をフラダンスで表現✨ポリネシアンカルチャーセンターは遠くて諦めてましたが、内容は同じく船内で貸し切りのように目の前で拝見できるホノルル号でしたらお子さんからお年寄りまでみなさん楽しめて幸せと感じました꒰ღ˘◡˘ற꒱✯*･
船の揺れが少なく、酔い止めも念のため飲んでから乗りましたが大丈夫です。
心地良いお席と風に...あっという間の時間でした！お帰りもシールの通りバスに誘導されホテルまで安全です
高齢の父と参加しましたが、お一人参加の方たくさんいらっしゃいました。
流れ的に1人でもまったく問題なく楽しめます
帰国後、必ず思い出になりまた参加したくなるょぅな優しいクルーズです

The weather forecast predicted clouds for the day, but it rained quite a bit, and I had given up on seeing the sunset. However, for just ten minutes as the sun was setting, there was a break in the clouds over the sea, and I was able to see the sunset!

On Friday, there were also light rains during the fireworks, but they were so captivating that the boat tilted, and I worried about how the people on the beach were able to see them.

The food was delicious, and there was never a dull moment with the Polynesian dance show and other activities. It was truly wonderful, but I realized that I needed to read the Japanese instructions carefully, as refills for drinks required cash, and the staff only communicated in English, which made me a bit flustered, so I held back on ordering the best options.

　当日は曇り予報でしたが、割と雨が降り、サンセットは諦めて居ました。しかし、夕陽が沈む10分間だけ雲と海に切れ間ができ、沈む夕陽を見る事が出来ました♪
　金曜日の花火も小雨が降っていましたが、船が傾く程に魅了することができ、砂浜の人はどうやって観たのか心配する程でした。
　食事も美味しく、ポリネシアンダンスショウなど飽きる暇が無いひと時でした。
　本当に良かったのですが、日本語の説明文をしっかりと読まないとドリンクのおかわりは現金が必要など給仕の人は英語のみの対応で少し焦ってので、最高は控えました。

It was a beautiful Friday. I was staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village, and since there are fireworks on Fridays, we decided to watch them from the seaside. We set sail before sunset and enjoyed a delicious meal while watching the stunning sunset. The servers were busy, and there wasn't anyone who could speak Japanese, but let's enjoy it while studying English. The boat stops at the venue during the fireworks, creating the perfect situation. After the fireworks, we started heading back, but the show began, so it was a lot of fun. This time, the guests were lively, and everyone was excited, making it a very happy time. Next time, I want to go with someone special.

天気が良い金曜日にあたりました。
Hiltonハワイアンヴィレッジにたいざいしてましたが、金曜日に花火が上がるので海側から見よと言う事でアップライしました。
サンセット前に出港して最高のサンセットをみながら、美味しい料理がコースできます。
サーバーさんも忙しく、日本語対応出来る方はいませんが、英語勉強して楽しみましょう。
花火時間は会場で停船してくれるので、最高のシュチュエーションです。
花火が終わると、帰船はじめますがショーが始まるのでとても楽しめます。今回はゲストもノリがよく皆さんで盛り上がってとてもハッピータイムでした。
次回は大切な人と行きたいです。
