It was a cruise where we went out to sea while listening to music and then returned. It was quite hot under the strong sun while the sun was high, but it became chilly as it set, so a jacket was necessary. Along the way, the boat stopped, and quite a few people jumped into the sea. Since there were many foreigners on the cruise, the atmosphere was lively and fun!

Even though it was a window seat, there was a deck outside, and I could see the backs of people taking photos. The drinks and food were also slow. This time it was a day trip to the Big Island, circling Oahu. I participated in the sunrise at Diamond Head and four tours. However, this was disappointing. This was my first time in Hawaii. After our family ceremony, we went on a dinner cruise in the evening. We chose the three-star option, but changed two of the steak dishes to fish. I was very excited to experience my first dinner cruise in Hawaii. The interior of the ship was very clean, and I was able to listen to live Hawaiian music, take photos of the sunset and Diamond Head, and at the end, everyone danced together. It was a packed schedule, and I had a really fun time. The food was delicious, and I was especially happy to have the experience of enjoying a whole lobster, which is not something you get to do often! Just a short distance from the Marriott Hotel in Ko Olina.
We walked along the beautiful coastline and arrived at the marina.
There were about 30 people on board.
We were the only Japanese, but there was a nice couple on their honeymoon.

This was a great experience. The performers and all staff were professional and made sure we had a good time. Food portions were perfect so that we weren't super stuffed but full enough. Beautiful food presentation. Hats off to the culinary team and chef!!!! This was a memorable experience and the interactive dance for everyone at the end was a perfect way to end the dinner cruise. Only one recommendation would be to have air conditioning in the boat. Other than that, the night was amazing!!

I made a reservation through the website the day before boarding, as it was cheaper than booking directly with the local tour company due to tax differences. I looked at several options, and this was the lowest price for the same conditions. Still, 30,000 yen per person is OVER.

The reservation process was easy, and I showed the issued voucher to the local tour company, signed, and completed check-in. I checked in at 14:00, one hour before departure, and had a briefing at 14:15. After that, it took about 5 minutes to move to the port. We departed 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Because the waves were high, it felt like being on a roller coaster. We arrived in about 1 hour and 20 minutes. We spent about 2 hours in Napali, and on the way back, we took our time eating a bento while enjoying the sunset, returning by 19:20.

Other tour companies have smaller boats, but you need to be prepared to get wet. The large yacht with a buffet is gorgeous, but it can't get close to the shore, so this tour, which is faster and includes bento and unlimited drinks (including alcohol), was great. There seems to be a morning departure as well, but since it's early, I recommend the afternoon departure with sunset.

I chose the normal course, but the food variety was limited and the portions were small, making it completely unappetizing! I could hardly eat anything. The onboard hula show featured only one male and one female dancer, and to top it off, the staff serving the food also performed a dance. The weather was cloudy, so we couldn't see the sunset either. It was a disappointing tour.

My first time in Hawaii, and it might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so I went on a Friday with a window seat, lobster, steak, and the chance to see fireworks. It was amazing!
The meal was luxurious and delicious, and Michael, who served our table, was a very attentive young man, frequently checking in to ask how everything was.
A woman sitting next to us seemed to get seasick, and he brought her sparkling water and showed great concern; the service was outstanding.
