Their mai tais were GREAT, I don't care for mai tais because of the dark rum but they do theirs differently and i loved their drinks. Very calming, good music and great drinks. I would definitely do this again

The fireworks at the Hilton on Friday lasted about 10 minutes. The Mai Tai cruise offered unlimited cocktails, and I had three cocktails, but they made them without a hint of annoyance. The night view was great, and since it was the end of the year, it was a bit cold, so you might need long sleeves.

I have been on large ships for dinner cruises, but I rarely have the opportunity to ride on a sailboat or a yacht with an outboard motor. This time, I got to experience a catamaran, and it was absolutely amazing! It was my first time on one, and I had a wonderful time. Everyone stayed on deck, feeling the wind, and unlike large ships, we were often rocked by the waves, which made it feel like we were really out at sea. Although it was unfortunate that there were many clouds and I couldn't enjoy the sunset, the view of Diamond Head and the illuminated Waikiki hotels from the sea was beautiful. I was also surprised by the restroom on the boat. Be careful not to drink too many Mai Tais, as you might get seasick. We departed from the beach, but the meeting point is somewhat difficult to find for those not staying at the Halekulani or Sheraton, so it's better to scout the location in advance. It's an activity that makes you feel like you're in paradise.

On 12/19/23 I went on Star of Honolulu, and participated in the Pacific Star Buffet Package. Finding the boat was easy due to it's large size. Walking up we were greeted by real hula dancers, that really set the vibe for the evening. Upon boarding the ship there was staff along the way that assisted in finding your section.

The ship is very large in size, and was so much fun to explore. The top deck was my favorite part, but definitely bring a sweater it can get a bit chilly! I recommend visiting the top deck as the sun is setting for your perfect kodak moment on the water, and once again when it gets' dark to see the beautiful city lights, and view of Diamond Head Crater.

The severs were very studious, and genuine when checking on our table. The buffet line went very quickly, hardly a wait at all! The food was delicious, with many options for all dietary needs. Being mainly plant based I was impressed by all the plant based sides, my favorite was the tofu salad! They even have a vegan patty upon request.

The show, and production was very engaging for the whole family. If you are traveling with a large group including children, I recommend the Pacific Star package there is something for everyone!

I don't understand Japanese at all, but it was a fun cruise. We go quite far offshore. It's great that drinks are free. Since we go further offshore than I expected, the waves might be a bit concerning, so those who are prone to motion sickness might want to take some medication before boarding.

The team at Waikiki Sailing were a well-oiled sailing machine! The directions provided in the confirmation email were clear and easy to follow. Check in was smooth and the beach boarding only splashed us up to our shins. We decided to sit on the catamaran netting on a particularly windy day and were warned about getting splashed multiple times. We endured the soaking and had an amazing time, plus the crew helped grab our empties and snacks so we could continue to enjoy. I recommend Waikiki Sailing 10,000 times over!

The staff were approachable, friendly, and respectful.
The music was fire. The playlist included a mix of old and new music across genres. One staff member was HILARIOUS! I danced, laughed, had three drinks, and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Definitely something I’d enjoy doing again.

Fun but very bumpy and wet

The boat itself was nice and the crew were lovely. Thankfully there was a place to hide slightly from the waves but it's also where the sea sickness gets really bad. My 14 son started to not feel well then a lady across from him got sick so that didn't help.

When they say it's an "adventure and you WILL get wet" they aren't lying. There were huge ups and downs and everyone was soaked.

The food was good and again the crew was lovely.

Definitly not a "smooth dinner cruise"

As someone who scours reviews making sure to pick the right one, I definitely recommend this sail!!!

The crew was fantastic and extremely helpful the entirety of the trip. The boat fits a good amount of people but is still small enough to feel like you are not lost in a crowd. When leaving the dock, we saw a big group of surfers and then sailed along the entire coast up to Diamond Head. We saw a beautiful sunset, and even a pod of Hawaiian Spinner dolphins on our way out! After the sun sets, you get a great view of the city lit up at night and a beautiful view of the moon as well.

Great selection of drinks, first one is free (additional alcohol for only $6), and it’s not your usual cheap beer/wine but actually a full bar with great spirit choices!!

The price of the tour is extremely fair and we definitely would recommend this specific charter to any friends and family!!!! Thanks Moana Catamaran for a great evening!

A little disappointed that we could not see the sunset go in the ocean. We have been on other sunset cruises and always could see the sun go in the ocean but we had land block our view. Overall, the sunset, the ocean, and the scenery of Waikiki were all amazing! Since it was an all-you-can-drink option, I enjoyed as much beer and wine as I wanted, which really lifted my spirits. I drank a lot of wine. There wasn't any information in Japanese, but maybe that was a good thing. It depends on the weather, but if it's nice, I think you'll create wonderful memories.
