This was my second time on the Holokai Catamaran, and it was my first time at Sunset Cruises. The staff really got everyone excited, and it was a fun time. I was able to see parts of Diamond Head that I wouldn't normally see, which made me feel like I was really in Hawaii! The sunset was also very beautiful, and the locals surfing looked amazing. I think the unlimited drinks at a great price were a fantastic deal! Thank you very much!

We participated in this cruise as the start of my cousin's bachelor party and boy what a great way to start it out! The catamaran was so cool, there was plenty of room for everyone, the staff was helpful and very friendly, and the views were breathtaking. We even saw a sea turtle at the end! The staff made it so fun and made some pretty good drinks to boot. The appetizers were not great, but that is not why we were on the cruise. It was a relaxing and easy cruise right off the pier and around Diamond Head. The sunset views were beautiful. I would highly recommend taking a sunset Waikiki Sail on the Spirit of Aloha.

I wanted to experience a slightly luxurious dinner cruise for our honeymoon, so I participated. I was really looking forward to it, but it was disappointing.

First of all, the boat was really small. There were about 30 passengers, including us, and once we sat down, it was quite cramped. The dinner was a buffet style. The taste was okay, but it was just simple light snacks. It wasn't what you would call a dinner cruise; it felt more like a light snack cruise. The variety of drinks was good, and there were plenty of alcoholic options.

The boat swayed quite a bit, so if you're prone to seasickness, taking motion sickness medication is a must.

クルーズの内容としては、サンセットが綺麗で素敵でした。ダイアモンドヘッドを背景に写真が撮れたのはよかったです。係員の方が写真を撮りましょうかと声を掛けて下さりました。ただ、期待が大きかった分、思ったよりロマンチックな感じではなく、カジュアルなクルーズでした。
私たちは正装で行きましたが、周りは外国人ばかりでみんなビーチサンダルとかラフな感じだったので、浮いてしまいました。
気楽にクルーズを楽しみたい方には向いているツアーだと思います。
ロマンチックな雰囲気を求める方や、王道のディナークルーズを期待する方は、有名なスターオブホノルルとかにした方がいいです。

There were about 20 participants, mostly Westerners, along with my family and another group of Japanese people. The staff was friendly, and Mai Tais, beer, and soft drinks were all-you-can-drink. Initially, only those who wanted a Mai Tai raised their hands, and they were served accordingly. After that, those who wanted juice could request it themselves. Instead of moving sideways near the Diamond Head, we stopped the engine and sailed straight out to sea using only the power of the sails. If you sit on the right side during the ride, you can enjoy the view of Diamond Head on the way out and the sunset on the way back, which I highly recommend.

Those who ordered alcoholic drinks like Mai Tais put about $5 in the tip box when disembarking. They also took a commemorative photo with the yacht when boarding, which you can purchase for $20 if you like. I bought it as a keepsake, and it became a wonderful memory! The boarding point is at the beach near the Sheraton's Halekulani. It's a bit hard to find, so please be careful. It's a white yacht.

I was swayed for longer than I expected. We departed while it was still a bit light out, but it quickly got dark, and the fireworks were really beautiful. Since I participated on the day I arrived in Honolulu, the sway of the boat was pleasantly soothing, and I dozed off a bit due to the time difference... I didn't understand the language, but the atmosphere was good, so I had a great time.

We had a great time on the boat sailing around diamond head and the Waikiki area. The two man crew was super helpful and a joy to be around. There was a variety of beers onboard along with a homemade concoction of mango and a variety of alcohols. Don't exactly know what was in it..but it was fantastic. The boat was fully packed, but we all had a great time riding the waves and enjoying all the views!

I was late for the meeting time, but I was relieved that they welcomed me with a smile. The sunset had nice music, and everyone seemed happy. Besides us, there were other foreigners, which added to the Hawaiian vibe and made it a relaxing experience. There are restrooms available, but they are portable toilets, and you can see from above, which might be a bit embarrassing for those in one-piece swimsuits.

I previously used a different catamaran during the day, but this one was more affordable, so I decided to use it to watch the sunset. Since it was bright, I usually missed the sunset without realizing it, but this time it was perfect from the water. My child found it amusing to bounce on the safety net last time, so they quickly moved onto the net, but it seems that's not allowed now, and they were warned. Still, they were satisfied sitting at the front and getting soaked from the splashes. It's a must to wear a swimsuit at the front.

The crew was very attentive, and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we didn't feel any language barrier. My girlfriend and I went on this cruise on a whim for some romance. We got a deal, so decided to try it out. Also, we are locals who live on Oahu, so it was convenient. The staff (captain, first mate, and bartender) were kind of hokey, but friendly and on it. Dinner wasn't served right away, but drinks (beer, cocktails, soda, water) were available at the bar. You get one free drink ticket. The prices were reasonable, and they accept credit/debit cards. The dinner buffet consisted of teri chicken, beef stir fry, tofu lettuce wraps, veg lumpia, boiled red potatoes, and rice, and they were all tasty. I opted out but you get a cookie for dessert. The catamaran was clean and spacious. The ride was smooth, and the ocean was beautiful. We didn't see any sea life, but we understand that nature doesn't run on our time. The first mate announced the sunset when she saw it beginning, which was thoughtful. All the passengers were able to take pictures. We met a newlywed couple from Seattle. The passengers were a good group, all just chillin' and enjoying the perfect weather. My girlfriend got a bit cold when the sun went down and she brought a sweater, so I'd suggest that. Also, wear shades, slippers, and comfortable clothing, nothing fancy.

The only criticism I had was that you have to check in 30 mins. before departure, and wait in the hot sun. The check-in attendant wasn't very friendly, but it's ok. It's not great to sit in a hot shack all day waiting to repeat the same instructions over and over to passengers. The parking isn't bad. We parked at Kewalo Basin Park and walked about 10 mins. but paid parking is $1/hr, I think.

The cruise is a good way to relax, so I would recommend it for locals and tourists.
