I originally had a tour booked, but two days prior, I received an email saying it was canceled due to the tour company's circumstances, which made me anxious to book this one instead. I felt very disappointed, but I had an amazing time! When I shared the series of events with the guide, they provided an explanation that made sense to us, saying, "This is probably what happened." I was so moved to see the manta rays up close, it was unbelievable! Next, I will also participate in the dolphin tour!

もともと予約していたツアーが２日前に急遽、ツアー会社の都合でキャンセルとメールがきて焦ってこちらを予約しました。気持ち的には非常に残念だったのですが、とてもとても楽しめました！ガイドに方に一連の出来事をお話したら、「恐らくこういうことだろう」と自分たちとしては納得のいく説明もしていただけました。マンタも信じられないぐらい近くで見れて感動しかありません！次はイルカのツアーにも参加させていただきます！

I really enjoyed this tour, and I think this is my fourth time participating. This time, the tour was especially amazing! There were about eight manta rays? There were so many that it was hard to keep track. In the past, there were times when they didn't show up at all, so since it's in the wild, there's no guarantee you'll see them, but I definitely think it's worth participating. Also, this boat is large, which makes it comfortable and gives a sense of security.

Previously, we borrowed wetsuits at the check-in office, but now the handover has changed to the boat boarding area. Additionally, the tour used to have only one departure per day, but now there are two, an early and a late option. We participated in the early departure.

このツアーはとても気に入っていて、これで4回目くらいの参加になるでしょうか。
特に今回のツアーは最高でした！
マンタの数も８枚くらい？とにかくいっぱいでよくわからないくらいでした。
以前、全く現れない事もあったので、野生だから必ず見れる保証はないですが、参加する価値は十分あると思います。
また、この船は大きいので落ち着くし安心感があります。

このツアー、以前はチェックインのオフィスでウェットスーツを貸していただいたのですがボート乗り場での受け渡しに変更になっていました。
また、ツアーも以前は1日1便でしたが、早めと遅めの2便になっていました。
私たちは早めの便に参加しました。

When I arrived at the airport, a woman holding a whiteboard with my name, as promised, greeted me with a lei. However, she put it on me in a very mechanical way, asked me to sign, and quickly left. The atmosphere was not very promising. By the way, this site shows results for transfer services. I thought I had booked a transfer, so after just receiving the lei and being left, I ended up having to take a taxi to the hotel... resulting in an additional expense of 8,000 yen. (^^; I know it's my fault, but please be careful, everyone. However, I can say that the lei was useful afterward, so that's a plus!＾＾

空港につくと申し込みした通り名前が記載されたホワイトボードを持った女性の方がレイをかけてくれました。ただものすごく作業的に掛けて、サインをしてと言われてそそくさと帰ってしまいました。雰囲気はあまり期待できないかも。ちなみにこのサイトでは送迎サービスのところで検索結果が出てきます。私は送迎もありだと思って申し込みをしたのでレイだけもらって去られたため、タクシーでホテルに行く羽目に。。。結果プラス8000円の出費が。。（＾＾；私が悪いのですが、皆さんも注意してくださいね。
でもレイはその後使えたので良しとします＾＾

I should have checked the distance between my accommodation and the King Kamehameha Hotel in advance, but paying 200 for a round-trip taxi is just too far! Once I arrived, it was impossible to cancel. I had to participate, but both the show and the food were average.

The only good part was going early to explore the town of Kona and enjoying a Segway tour.

早めに行って コナの町を 散策し セグウェイツアーを楽しんだのが良かったぐらい

Our guide, Gordon, made sure the shuttle ride was comfortable and enjoyable. the stargazing and sunset views were amazing! It is well recommended to take this tour.

Lasagna was a bit salty for asian taste in my opinion. Browny, cookies and drinks were nice. Jumpers and gloves were provided but it was still cold, so it would be better if you brought more warm clothings.

One thing, i came on this tour with my wife (newly weds) but the seats were limited, so we had to sit separately :( it would be nice if there were seating plans or notice beforehand.

Nonetheless, i would take this tour again if I do ever come back to the big island!

I participated in the Segway Kailua Kona Sunset Tour (120 minutes) with a Japanese guide along with my parents.

Before riding on public roads, we practiced how to ride multiple times in the office with great care.

Even for someone like me who is not very athletic, our Japanese guide, Masako, patiently taught me until I felt comfortable riding without any hesitation. During the ride, she provided detailed instructions on what to watch out for, such as obstacles, bumps, and manholes. My retired parents were also very happy to participate, as there were explanations of the sights in Japanese, which made them feel at ease. The sunset tour included beautiful night views along the coast, a botanical garden, and riding on an old runway, making it a unique experience that you can't find in Japan. I highly recommend it.

セグウェイ カイルアコナ散策ツアーのサンセットツアー（120分）・日本語ガイドを体験。

両親と私の3名で参加させて頂きました。公道走行の前に、事務所内で丁寧に何度も乗り方の予行練習をさせて頂きました。

かなり運動音痴の私でも、嫌な顔一つせず、日本語ガイドのMasakoさんは、安心して乗れるまで丁寧に何度も教えてくれました。また、走行時には、障害物、段差、マンホールなど注意することを細かく走行中指示してくれました。
定年した両親も、日本語で名所説明などもあり、安心して参加できたと大変喜んでいました。サンセットツアーでは、海岸での夜景や、植物園、旧滑走路走行などもあり、日本では味わえない体験なので大変お勧めです。

We traveled by boat for quite a long time, and at various points, the captain provided explanations, but I could hardly understand anything with my limited English skills. At the first spot, we encountered a sea turtle at a distance within reach, and we were able to see another one at the second spot as well. The water clarity was quite good, but there weren't many fish overall. On our way back, we encountered a few dolphins swimming gracefully, which was also a nice experience.

結構長い時間ボートで移動し、要所要所で船長さんがいろんな解説をしてくれますが、英語を少しかじったくらいの自分ではほとんど理解できませんでした。最初のスポットで手の届くような距離でウミガメと遭遇し、2番目スポットでも遭遇することができました。海の透明度はかなりよかったですが、魚の数自体は多くありません。
帰り際にイルカ数頭に遭遇し、気持ちよさそうに泳いでいるのが見られたのもよかったです。

The meeting place is near the Sheraton Hotel, so I think it would be very convenient if you're staying at this hotel. We stayed in Kona, so we used Uber for round trips. I didn't realize that I had received several calls from our guide Noni the day before. We participated in the afternoon tour, but I heard that in the early morning, the waves are not as high and the water clarity is better, making it great for snorkeling. Due to our schedule, we could only participate in the afternoon, but I would like to join the early morning tour next time (*^^*).

シェラトンホテル近くが集合場所なので、このホテル滞在ならとても便利だと思います。私達はコナ滞在でしたので、往復Uberを利用しました。
前日から何度もガイドのノニさんから電話をもらっていたのに気がつかず。午後ツアーに参加したのですが、早朝、午前中の方が波が高くなく海の透明度が高くてシュノーケリングも楽しめるそうです。
日程の都合で午後しか参加できなかったのですが、次回は早朝に参加したいです(*^^*)

We had plenty of time at two snorkeling points and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Along the way, a pod of 5 or 6 dolphins started swimming right next to the boat, and they performed big spin jumps several times—what a lucky experience! Since we were on a Zodiac, we were able to speedily enter deep into coastal caves, which was a lot of fun. We enjoyed a roughly 4-hour tour with an international mix of a family from Canada, a couple from Brazil, and just the two of us. The captain and staff were friendly. The guidance was in English, but I think as long as you can manage basic conversation, it shouldn't be a problem.

2カ所のシュノーケルポイントでの時間もたっぷり、存分に楽しめました。
途中5・6頭のイルカがボートの真横で泳ぎ始め、何度も大きくスピンジャンプしてくれて大ラッキー!!
ゾディアックなので、スピード感たっぷりで海岸の洞窟にも深く入ることができ、とても楽しめます。
カナダからのファミリーとブラジルからのカップルと私たち二人というインターナショナルな組み合わせで約4時間のツアーを楽しめました。
キャプテンはじめスタッフもフレンドリー。英語だけの案内になりますが、カタコト日常会話できれば、特に問題はないと思います。

It was my first time snorkeling, and it had been a while since I last went into the ocean, but I had so much fun that I forgot all about that! The staff were all very thoughtful in making sure everyone could see the dolphins, and it was especially enjoyable to watch Daisuke swimming with them. I was so captivated by the dolphins that it was hard to stay close to everyone. I definitely want to participate again if I come back, and if there's anyone hesitating about going alone, I really encourage you to join! In the session I attended, there were three people who came alone.

シュノーケリングは初めてでしたし、海に入るのも久しぶりでしたが、そんなこと忘れるぐらい楽しかった！
スタッフの方が皆さんイルカが見れるようにいろいろ考えてくださっていて、何よりダイスケさんがイルカと一緒に泳いでるのを見てるのも楽しかったです。
イルカに夢中になり過ぎて、皆さんと離れないようにするのが大変なぐらいでした。
また来たら是非参加したいですし、お一人の方で迷ってる方がいたら是非参加して欲しいです。
私が参加した会は、一人の方も3人いましたよ。

Riding on a slightly larger banana boat was thrilling. I even encountered dolphins and sea turtles. Even if you don't understand English, body language works just fine.

ちょいと大き目なバナナボートに乗ってる感じでスリル満点。イルカやウミガメにも出会えました。英語がわからなくてもボディランゲージで大丈夫。

I previously participated in a dolphin swimming tour on Oahu, but it was just getting on and off the boat while watching the dolphins swim quickly along the ocean floor from above. Based on that experience, I didn't have high expectations for this tour, but it was completely different!

The dolphins swam slowly beside us, going right, left, forward, backward, and up and down. It felt like I was right in the middle of a sea full of dolphins! Many dolphins appeared one after another, so once you get into the water, you can slowly enjoy your time with them. There were also lots of baby dolphins, and we even encountered a manta ray. We successfully encountered dolphins on every attempt! It was truly a wonderful time. Captain Ken's driving was exceptional, almost like an attraction, and his ability to anticipate where the dolphins would come from was outstanding. My daughter, who got to experience steering the boat, was thrilled. (In Hawaii, it seems that if a responsible person is nearby, you can experience steering the boat.)

Our guide, Kevin, was humble and kind, showing the dolphins to the little children nearby. The attention to guests, both on the boat and in the shuttle, was truly wonderful and made us feel happy.

This dolphin swim tour is the real deal! I highly recommend it! Don't hesitate to participate! Just so you know, there are no showers, so when you return to the port, you'll change in the restroom before dispersing.

By the way, our Mauna Kea summit tour was canceled on the day due to hurricane effects, and we urgently signed up for the manta night snorkel that same evening, and they kindly allowed us to join, which was very moving!

以前オアフ島でイルカと泳ぐツアーに参加をしましたが、ボートから降りたり乗ったりを繰り返すばかりで、イルカが海の底を速いスピードで泳いでいくのを上から眺めているだけでした。そんな経験から、今回も同じようなツアーかと期待はせずに向かいましたが、全く！違いました！
本当にイルカが右に左に、前に後ろに、下から上にと、ゆっくり私達のそばを泳いで行きます。イルカだらけの真ん中に自分が居る感じです！
沢山のイルカが次から次に現れるので、一度海に入ると、ゆっくり、イルカとの時間を楽しむことが出来ます。赤ちゃんイルカも沢山いて、マンタにも会えました。すべてのトライでイルカとの遭遇に成功！本当に素晴らしい時間でした。ボートキャプテン・ケンさんのアトラクション並みの運転やイルカの来る方向の先読みは抜群で、ボート操縦体験をさせて頂いた娘は大喜びでした。（ハワイでは責任者が傍にいれば、ボート操縦体験が出来るそうです。）
ガイドのケビンさんは、謙虚で優しく、小さいお子さんの傍に付いてイルカを
見せてあげていました。ボートの中でも送迎の車の中でも、ゲストに対する気配りは本当に素晴らしく、幸せな気持ちにさせてくれました。
ここのドルフィン・スイム・ツアーは本物です！
おススメです！迷わずに参加してみて下さい！
参考までに、シャワーなどは無いので、港に戻ったらトイレで着替えて解散です。
因みに、私たちは、マウナケア山頂ツアーがハリケーンの影響で当日キャンセルとなり、同日の夜、マンタ・ナイト・シュノーケルに急遽申し込みをしたのですが、快く参加をさせて頂き、感激致しました！

Among the many dolphin tours available, I read reviews and was unsure which company to choose, but in the end, I made the right decision with this tour. After participating in the first day's tour, I was so moved that I ended up signing up for an additional tour on-site. I was taken care of for three days.

The staff and captain conveyed their desire for the guests to have fun. Additionally, it's common for snorkeling tour equipment to be in poor condition, but the snorkeling sets here were well-maintained, clean, and safe to use. I think it's wonderful that they pay attention to even the small details.

I would love to go back to the Big Island to meet the dolphins again. Thank you very much!

数あるイルカツアーの中で、どの会社にしようか口コミを拝見し、悩んだ結果、こちらのツアーにして大正解でした。
1日目のツアーに参加後、感動しすぎて現地で追加申込みをしてしまいました。3日間お世話になりました。
スタッフ、船長がゲストに楽しんで貰いたいって気持ちが伝わってきました。
また、よくあるシュノーケリングツアーの器材って綺麗でない場合が多いのですが、こちらのシュノーケリングセットは手入れもよく、綺麗で安心して使えるものばかりでした。
細かな事にも気が使えるのって素晴らしいと思います。
またハワイ島で、イルカに会いに行きたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました。

I participated in my first manta tour with my 10-year-old son to celebrate my 45th birthday on the Big Island of Hawaii! During the trip, despite strong winds, we experienced a completely calm day on the tour! It might have been a wonderful birthday gift from the goddess Pele!

While watching the sunset before the main manta experience, we also had a chance to do some dolphin watching, which apparently has only a 10% chance of happening! As we were preparing to see the main manta, one jumped out of the water, as if welcoming us.

We were able to see two mantas in the water, and my son was extremely happy! On that day, it was calm, and while my son doesn't usually get car or seasick, he seemed a bit nauseous after floating in the sea for about an hour. I recommend that anyone who feels even slightly uneasy take some motion sickness medication.

Only my son rented a wetsuit, but since it was nighttime in the ocean, I should have rented one too. After seeing the mantas, we were wet and the boat heading back to the port was windy, making us feel cold, so if you have extra space in your luggage, I recommend bringing extra towels.

The hot cocoa we had on the boat was very warming! There were no shops at the departure port, so it's better to prepare food and drinks if needed.

Lastly, our Japanese guide Alisa was super energetic, and the mood on the boat was always at its best! While she didn't say "OK!" exactly, her vibe was just like Laura's, and it was truly amazing! Thank you, Alisa! It was the best trip to the Big Island!

When I book another tour, I'll be sure to request you again! We stayed at the Mauna Lani Hotel on the Big Island, and there were no effects from the Kilauea volcano or hurricanes!

初めてのマンタツアーは45歳の誕生日をハワイ島で迎えた私と10歳の息子と二人で参加させていただきました！
旅行中、強い風が吹く中、ツアー当日だけなんと無風に!! 神様ペレの素晴らしい誕生日プレゼントかも！
メインのマンタの前にサンセットを見ながら、10%の確率らしいイルカウォッチングもできました！
メインのマンタを見るのに準備をしているとマンタがジャンプをして、まるで歓迎をしてくれているようでした。
海に入り念願のマンタも2枚見ることができて息子も大変喜んでいました！
当日は無風で息子は車酔い、船酔いはしないのですが、約一時間海に浮かんでいたために若干酔ったみたいです。
少しでも不安な人は酔い止めを飲むことを、おススメします。
息子のみ、ウエットスーツをレンタルしましたが、夜の海なので私もレンタルした方が良かったです。
マンタを見た後、体も濡れていて港へ向かう船も風があり体が冷えるので荷物に余裕があれば多めのタオルをおススメします。
船内で頂いた、ホットココアは大変温まりました！
出発の港には、お店も無かったので食べもの、飲みものの必要な人は準備しておくほうが良いです。
最後に、日本語ガイドのアリサちゃん超ノリが良く船内のムードは常に最高の雰囲気!!
OK！はさすがに言わなかったが、そうなの！〜なの！とまるで、ローラのノリそのままでホントに最高！でした。

ハワイ島マウナラニホテルに滞在の旅行でしたが、キラウエア火山やハリケーンの影響も無かったですよ！

We climbed the mountain in a full car under a cloudy sky with some fog. I was half giving up, thinking that we wouldn't be able to see the sunset or the starry sky. We were lent warm clothes, had lunch, and took some time to acclimatize before heading to the summit. At first, we couldn't see anything due to the fog, but around sunset, the fog cleared up nicely, and we were able to see the sunset, which was breathtaking. Initially, at the first observation point, we couldn't see the stars because of the fog, but at the next location, the beauty of the Milky Way and other sights overwhelmed us in no time. I applied online to receive the tour photos, but I'm a bit concerned as I haven't received a response yet.

曇り空、霧が出たりする中、満席の車で山を登り高度をあげて行きました。このままでは夕焼けも星空も見えないのかと半分こ諦めモード。
温かい服も貸して頂き、弁当を食べ、高度順応に時間を撮ってから山頂へ。最初はガスで見えませんでしたが、日没頃には上手くガスも切れて夕日を見ることが出来、美しさに圧倒されました。星空も最初のみ観測地ではガスがお贈り見えませんでしたが、移動した次の地点では天の川等美しさに、これまたあっという間されました。ツアーの写真頂けるとのことでネットでしていいどおり申し込みましたが、今の所返事なしの点が気になってはおりますが｡

I rented a car to get to the meeting place. It was great to have a car since there was no place to change clothes. I participated with my 5-year-old daughter, and she got seasick during the kayak trip, but she felt better after getting out of the kayak and into the sea. The thrill of being inside the cave and seeing the manta rays was great, but kayaking while feeling the vastness of the ocean was the most fun. The pineapple we received at the end was also delicious.

集合場所までレンタカーを借りて行きました。
着替えるところがないので車があって良かったです。
5歳の娘と一緒に参加し、娘はカヤックの途中で酔ってしまいましたが、カヤックを降りて
海につかると元気になってました。
洞窟の中の迫力、マンタも良かったけど、広い海を感じながらのカヤックが楽しかった。
最後にもらったパイナップルも美味しかったです。

As soon as we left the bay, we encountered a pod of dolphins. I thought it would be enough to see ten, but we ended up meeting over a hundred dolphins! Everywhere I looked, there were dolphins, dolphins, dolphins!

The instructor, Daisuke, was a friendly and fun person, almost like a friend. The boat operator, Hitomi, was also refreshing and kind.

It was a very satisfying tour, but I wish we could have taken pictures with the dolphins underwater. I think I felt that way especially because I forgot my underwater camera at the hotel.

入り江を出た途端にイルカの群れに遭遇。10頭も出会えれば十分と思っていたのに、総数１００頭を超えるイルカに出会ってしまいました。
こちらを向いてもあちらを向いても、いるか、イルカ、いるか！
インストラクターのダイスケさん。友達みたいに気さくな楽しい方でした。
ボートの操縦士のひとみさんも、さっぱりして優しいひとでした。
とても満足できるツアーでしたが、できればイルカと海の中で一緒の写真を撮っていただけたらな～と思いました。水中カメラをホテルに忘れてしまったので特に思ったのだと思います。

This time, I came to Hawaii Island for the first time. What I wanted to experience most with my husband was swimming with dolphins. The weather on the day of the tour was perfect! With Captain Hitomi and tour guide Kevin leading us, we sped out to where the dolphins were resting! (I was worried about seasickness, but thanks to the fast boat, it was fun and over in no time, so I was totally fine.) It felt like an attraction, and seeing Hawaii Island from the sea was such a luxurious experience. After about 15 minutes, we arrived at the dolphins' location, and with the great teamwork of Captain Hitomi and Kevin, we dove in where the dolphins were coming. It was truly the best day, and we encountered countless dolphins! We swam together! Looking down, there were dolphins; looking sideways, there were dolphins, and my excitement was at its peak! I even met a dolphin lady, which felt lucky. While waiting on the boat, the dolphins put on a show, jumping and spinning around, making it an incredible tour. We also encountered sea turtles, enjoyed watching fish and coral while waiting for the dolphins, and felt happiness in the blue sea, creating the best memories. If you come to Hawaii Island, I absolutely recommend this tour! You will definitely leave satisfied!

今回、初めてハワイ島に来ました。旦那さんと真っ先に体験したいと思ったのがイルカと泳ぐ事です。ツアー当日の天候は最高！船長のひとみさん、ツアーガイドののケヴィンさんに率いてもらってイルカたちが休んでいるところまでボートを飛ばして行きます！（船酔いを気にしていましたが、ボートが速いおかげで楽しいのとあっという間なのとで、全然平気でした。）これがまたアトラクションのようで楽しく、またハワイ島を海側から見られて、すごく贅沢な気分です。15分くらいで、イルカたちの所に着き、船長のひとみさんとケヴィンさんの息のあったコンビネーションでイルカたちがくる所にもぐりこみます。当日は本当に最高の日で、数えきれないほどのイルカ達と遭遇！一緒に泳ぎました！下を見てもイルカ、横を見てもイルカで、テンションはマックスでした！イルカおばさんにも出会え、それもラッキーな感じでした。ボートで待機している時もイルカのショーのようにイルカ達がジャンプしたり、くるくる廻ったり、本当に最高のツアーとなりました。他にもウミガメにも遭遇したり、イルカ待機中に魚・珊瑚礁観賞をしたり、海の青さに幸せを感じだり、最高の思い出となりました。ハワイ島に来たら、絶対ここのツアーをお勧めします！満足して帰れる事間違いなしです！

If you're going to the Big Island, I highly recommend it! You can see the best sunset and, surprisingly, a lot of stars. The explanations about the mountains and constellations along the way were very easy to understand, and the attention to guests was excellent! While the weather can be a factor, I hope you get to experience the view from above the clouds.

最高の夕日を見る事が出来て、また想像以上にたくさんの星を見る事ができた。
行く間の山々の説明や星座の説明などとても分かりやすいく、ゲストへの心配りもとても良かった！
天候もあるかと思うが、雲の上から見る景色をぜひ体験してほしいです。

We had a Wonderful Tour Guide who gave an education about Volcanoes and the local communities in Hilo. Now that the Volcano has erupted and in the news, I can tell friends back home about my special day visiting the Volcano.

I rated this tour one star, but there were no issues with the content of the tour or the guide's response. However, it seems we fell into the 10% of the 90% clear skies on our observation day, as we could only see a faint sunset and just three stars in the night sky (three stars...). Therefore, my satisfaction level for the sunset and stargazing tour was zero. There's nothing we can do about the weather. Since we participated on the fourth day after the hurricane passed, the road from the Onizuka Visitor Center to the summit was reportedly closed due to landslides. The guide kindly explained this at pickup, and at that point, we could cancel for a full refund. We decided to participate, and by the time we arrived at the Onizuka Visitor Center, the road to the summit had reopened. However, it seems some people canceled on the day. Our guide, Matsuzaki, did his best to keep the spirits up despite only seeing a little bit of the sun at the summit, and he took many photos for us. During the stargazing, he diligently searched for a spot without clouds and explained the stars to the participants, who were feeling quite down since we couldn't see any stars at all (laughs). In the car on the way back, everyone had a somber atmosphere, and I think the guide felt quite uncomfortable. However, I believe the content was wonderful. If I ever come back to the Big Island, I would like to participate with this company again.

評価を★一つにしてしまいましたが、ツアーの内容もガイドの方の対応も全く問題はありません。ただし私たちの観測日は晴天率90％の中で10%にあたってしまったらしく、サンセットもわずかな光しか見えず、星空にいたっては目視できた星は3つだったため（３つって・・・）、サンセット＆星空観測のためのツアーとしては満足度ゼロとなりました。天候ばかりは仕方がありません。ハリケーン通過後、4日目の参加だったのでオニヅカビジターセンターから山頂への道が土砂崩れ等で、お迎え時の情報では閉鎖されていました。お迎え時、ガイドの方がそのことを丁寧に説明してくれ、この時点でキャンセルしても100%返金されます。私たちは参加し、結果的にオニヅカビジターセンター到着時に閉鎖していた山頂への道も解除となりましたが、当日キャンセルをされた方もいるようでした。ガイドの松崎さんは山頂でもわずかな太陽しか見えない中、一生懸命盛り上げてくれ、たくさんの写真も撮ってくださいました。星空観測でも雲がない場所を懸命に探してくれ、テンションだだ下がりの参加者達に星が全く見えない中、懸命に星空の説明をしていただきました（笑）。帰りの車の中では参加者一様、葬式みたいな雰囲気でガイドの方もいたたまれなかったと思いますが、内容としては素晴らしいと思います。またいつかハワイ島に来ることがありましたら、こちらの会社で参加したいと思いました。

As a couple in our 50s, we embraced the motto of "trying anything that interests us," and this time we took our first kayaking adventure on the Big Island of Hawaii! We enjoyed a pleasant drive along Alii Drive from our hotel to the meeting point at Keauhou Bay early in the morning. Since it was an early morning gathering, we were lucky to find a parking spot on the street.

We were the only participants in the tour, which turned into a luxurious one-on-one instruction experience. Initially, we struggled to make progress, but we managed to find our rhythm together and ventured out into the vast ocean. We also had plenty of photos taken, allowing us to create lasting memories.

Kayaking was truly enjoyable. On the day we returned to Tokyo, I saw a celebrity kayaking in Keauhou Bay on a TV program. Watching that made me think, "I want to do this again next year."

Thank you, Noni! We will be going back to the Big Island next year!

夫婦で50代を迎え、これからは興味を持ったことは「なんでもやってみる」をモットーに、今回のハワイ島ではカヤックに初挑戦！
宿泊していたホテルから集合場所のケアウホウ湾までは、早朝のアリィロードを気持ちよくドライブで。早朝集合だったので、路上（駐車可能な場所）に駐車することもできラッキーでした。
ツアー参加は私たち夫婦だけ。マンツーマン指導の贅沢なツアーになりました。当初はなかなか思うように進みませんでしたが、夫婦息を合わせなんとかコツを掴み、大海原へ。写真もたくさん撮影していただき、思い出深い時間を過ごすことができました。
カヤックはほんとに楽しかったです。
東京に戻った当日、TV番組で芸能人がハワイ島（同じケアウホウ湾）でカヤックをしていました。それを見たら「また来年もしたいな」とつくづく。

Last year, I participated in a dolphin tour, and this year, I joined the manta tour as the highlight of my trip. Learning from last year's experience, I prepared thoroughly by borrowing a wetsuit to anticipate sunburn, seasickness, and the sudden chill when coming out of the water. Departing in the evening allowed us to enjoy the sunset, and my expectations for seeing mantas were high! I also thoroughly enjoyed the views of the town of Kona and the surrounding mountains from the sea.

About 30 minutes after departure, we arrived at the manta spot. Although I didn't feel it much at the start, the anchored boat was swaying heavily due to the waves and wind. Our guide provided solid advice, such as "Don't push yourself" and "Keep your head down when entering the water (if you keep your head up, you might get seasick)," and then we dove into the sea!

I was prepared for the possibility that we might not see any mantas due to the weather, but while floating there, a dark shadow approached… Oh, is that a manta?

In the bluish light, the manta swam gracefully, and I was left speechless by its enchanting appearance. While in the water, there were always two or three mantas swimming nearby, and I was filled with gratitude.

After getting back on the boat, I experienced the usual seasickness, but that memory was quickly overshadowed by the incredible experience. I am grateful not only to the mantas but also to the guides who ensured our safety during the tour. Thank you very much.

昨年イルカツアーに参加し、今年はマンタツアーを今回の旅行の最大イベントとして参加しました。昨年の教訓で日焼けや船酔い、そして海からあがった時の「一気に体が冷える」ことも想定し、ウェットスーツもお借りして準備万端で臨みました。夕方からの出発はサンセットも楽しめ、マンタへの期待も上々！また海から見るコナの街並みや山々の風景なども十分に楽しめました。
出発から３０分ほどでマンタスポットに到着、出発時にはあまり感じませんでしたが、停泊した船は波と風の影響で大揺れ。ガイドの方からは「無理をしないこと」「海に入った際にも頭をあげない（頭を上げたままにしていると酔ってしまう）」等、しっかりアドバイスをいただき、海へダイブ！
天候によりマンタが見られないことがある…も覚悟、そんな思いでプカプカしていると、何やら黒い影がスッーと近づいてきて…。あ、マンタ？
青白い光の中でゆらゆらと優雅に泳ぐマンタの幻想的な姿、あまりの感動に言葉を失いました。海に入っている間も常に2、３匹のマンタが近くを泳いでいてくれて、本当にありがとうの気持ちでいっぱいです。
海から船に上がった後は、お約束の船酔いになりましたが、そんな記憶も吹き飛ぶ最高の感動体験でした。
マンタへの感謝はもちろんですが、安全に催行くださったガイドの皆さんにも感謝です。ありがとうございました。

Everyone on the staff was polite and kind, and I had a great time. The manta rays swam right in front of my eyes, which was very impressive. I got a bit nervous when one of the engines on the boat stopped on the way back, but I'm glad we made it back safely!

スタッフの方みんな丁寧親切でとても楽しかったです。マンタが目と鼻の先すれすれを泳ぐので大迫力でした。帰りの船がエンジン片方止まってひやっとしましたが、無事帰れたので良かったです！

The weather was perfect, and I was able to fully enjoy both the sunset and the starry sky. But what I appreciated the most was the attentive guidance and explanations from the guides. Especially when we were heading to the summit of Mauna Kea, they repeatedly encouraged us to take deep breaths. Other companies may offer similar tours, but this tour is definitely the one to choose!

天候に恵まれ日の入りも星空も満喫できました。
でも何よりも有難かったのは、ガイドの方々の細やかなお声がけや解説でした。特にマウナケア山頂に向かう際、深呼吸を繰り返すよう何度も声をかけてくれました。
同様のツアーは他社も実施しているのでしょうが、このツアーは間違いないです！

I still clearly remember the excitement when the manta ray first appeared. The manta ray swimming gracefully under the blue lights was so mysterious and beautiful, it felt like a scene from a TV show or movie.

However, this tour is definitely a test of physical and mental stamina. Even my mother, who loves snorkeling and the ocean (in her 70s), had to get back on the boat just 10 minutes into it. It seems she didn't like the water getting into her mask. I had similar trouble with my mask, so it might be a good idea for those who are accustomed to their own gear to bring it along.

On the other hand, my 10-year-old daughter kept saying "one more!" during breaks on the boat and quickly returned to participate until the end. My mother was moved to see the staff coordinating and escorting my daughter back to the boat.

The beautiful Alisha, who speaks Japanese, repeatedly asked me "Are you okay?" while we were on the water and the boat, which made me feel very supported since I wasn't confident in my swimming.

On the return boat ride, I felt a mix of emotions—excitement, awe, and fatigue—all swirling together, creating a very strange feeling. I thought to myself that paying for such an experience, which I could never have done alone, must be priceless.

初めてマンタが現れたときの興奮は、今もはっきりと覚えています。青いライトに照らされてくるくる泳ぐマンタは、とても神秘的で美しく、テレビか映画のワンシーンのようでした。

しかし同時に、このツアーは確かに体力・気力勝負のツアーですね。シュノーケル大好き、海大好きな母(70代)でも、開始早々10分でボートに引き上げました。どうやらマスクの鼻のところに水が入ってくるのが嫌だったようです。私のマスクも同様のトラブルがありましたので、慣れているものをお持ちの方は持参した方が良さそうですね。
対する10歳の娘は、ボートでの休憩をはさみながら「one　more！」と言って、すぐに戻って来て最後まで参加していました。娘がボートに戻る際スタッフ達が声を掛け合い連携して娘をエスコートしてくれる様に、母は感動していました。
日本語の話せる美しいアリーシャも、海の上でも、船の上でも、何度も何度も「だいじょぶ？」「だいじょぶ？」と聞いてくれて、泳ぎに自信のない私はとても心強かったです。

帰りのボートでは、感動と興奮と疲労とがごちゃごちゃになって、とても不思議な心持ちでした。自分だけでは決して出来ない、このような体験にお金を払うことがプレイスレスなんだろうなぁ、と思いました。

Due to the impact of the typhoon, we couldn't proceed to Onitsuka. The weather was also unstable, and we couldn't see the stars. The guide was very kind and the service was excellent. Since we couldn't see the stars, we received a free ticket for participation within two years. I plan to make a comeback.

タイフーンの影響で、オニツカの上には進めませんでした。天候も不安定で、星も見れませんでした。ガイドさんは、とても親切で対応も◎でした。星が見えなかったので、2年以内の参加無料券をもらいました。リベンジしようと思います。

I was worried whether the manta rays would come, but seeing them perform backflips right in front of me nearly ten times in the rough waves was incredibly thrilling! They came so close that it was difficult not to touch them. It was an unbelievably heart-pounding experience.

マンタが来てくれるか心配していましたが、荒波にもマンタが10回近く目の前でバック転する様子はド迫力❗触らないようにするのが困難なほど近くに迫ってきました。信じられないほどドキドキ体験でした。

I participated with my wife, our son who is in the first year of middle school, and our daughter who is in the fifth grade, making a total of four people. The instructor, Kevin, was kind and taught us in fluent Japanese, so there were no issues with the operation lecture. However, perhaps due to the strong waves, my wife and son became seasick about ten minutes into kayaking and had to return early. Unfortunately, we could only snorkel near the starting point, which was very disappointing. I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take anti-nausea medication beforehand.

Since I was experienced, the explanation for snorkeling was brief, and I thought it might be a bit tough for the inexperienced children. However, since it was a short tour, if the explanation is given in detail, the experience time would be shortened, so I think it's better to communicate in advance which is preferred.

I didn't bring a waterproof camera, but Kevin took photos with his own waterproof camera and later shared the files with us.

妻と中1の息子、私と小5の娘の2組４人で参加しました。
インストラクターのケビンさんが親切で丁寧に流ちょうな日本語で教えてくれたので、操作レクチャーについては問題なかったのですが、波が強めだったせいか、妻と息子の組がカヤックに乗って10分程度で船酔いになってしまい、早々に戻ることになってしまい、シュノーケリングもスタート地点付近でしかできず、とても残念でした。酔いやすい方は必ず酔い止めを飲んでいかれることをお勧めします。
　私が経験者であったことから、シュノーケリングについての説明は短目で、未経験の子供にはちょっと辛いかもしれないと思いましたが、短時間のツアーなので、説明を丁寧にされると体験の時間が短くなるので、どちらを望むかを事前に伝えておいたほうが良いと思いました。
　防水カメラを準備して行かなかったのですが、ケビンさんが持参の防水カメラで写真撮影して、後でファイルを共有させてくれました。
