It was the first time for my husband and me to go to the sea in a long while and to try sea kayaking. Since both of us are over 50, we were a bit worried about our physical stamina and felt a little nervous about participating, but we had a great time thanks to the careful instruction on how to operate the kayak.

The guide spoke very clear and fluent Japanese, having experience living in Japan, so we had no worries about the language barrier.

We placed our valuables in waterproof bags attached to the kayak, but other belongings were left on the shore (we left ours in Kevin's car), so I think it's best to keep your luggage to a minimum!

As for the tour, we progressed while watching the waves crashing against the cliffs. We were able to see wild goats as well.

The cave exploration, which I was most looking forward to, allowed us to see the waves crashing at the cave entrance, but due to high waves, we couldn't go inside this time. It was quite disappointing, but we can't go against nature... Still, it's a shame! We enjoyed snorkeling in a beautiful coral area, surrounded by colorful fish, floating and diving as we pleased. I might have overdone it here, as I felt a bit tired on the way back.

Also, being someone who gets cold easily, I couldn't stop shivering after getting out of the sea. I think I lost body heat since I paddled back while still wet, so I recommend that those who are sensitive to cold have something warm to put on right after getting out of the water.

We participated from Kailua-Kona, but since we didn't rent a car, we took a taxi to the meeting point. It took about 15 to 20 minutes and cost around $30 including tip (though I'm a bit unsure about the exact amount...). On the way back, we took the trolley bus from the nearby Sheraton Hotel. The ride took about 35 to 40 minutes and cost $2 per person. The bus runs every two hours, so I think it's a good idea to check the schedule in advance.

夫婦そろって久しぶりの海に初めてのシーカヤック。
二人とも50歳を超えているので体力的なことも心配で、ちょっとドキドキしての参加でしたが、操作の方法など丁寧に指導していただき、楽しい時間を過ごせました。
ガイドさんは日本にお住まいの経験もあるということで、とても聞き取りやすい、上手な日本語を話され、言葉の不安はありませんでした。

貴重品は防水バッグに入れてカヤックに取り付けますが、その他の荷物は岸に置いていくので（私たちはケビンさんの車に置かせていただきました）、荷物は極力少なく！！！がいいと思います。


ツアー内容ですが、シーカヤックは波が岸壁に打ち付けられる様子を見ながらどんどん進んでいきます。
野生のヤギも見ることができました。

今回、一番楽しみにしていた洞窟探検、洞窟の入り口に波が打ち付けるところを見ることができたのですが、今回は波が高く中に入ることはできませんでした。かなり残念でしたが、自然には逆らえません・・・。けど残念！！！！
サンゴのきれいなところでシュノーケリングは楽しむことができました。
色鮮やかな魚もたくさんで、自分たちの好きなように浮かんだり潜ったり。
ここではしゃぎすぎたか、帰りは少し疲れました。


あと、寒がりの私は海から上がった後震えが止まりませんでした。
濡れたままカヤックを漕いで帰ってきたので体温が奪われたのだと思いますが、寒がりの方は岸に上がった後、すぐに羽織れるものがあったらいいかなと思います。

私たちはカイルア・コナからの参加だったのですが、レンタカーは借りていなかったので、集合場所へはタクシーで向かいました。
時間は15分～20分、チップも含めて＄30くらいだったと思います。（ちょっと金額はあやふやです・・・）
帰りはすぐそばのシェラトンホテルからトロリーバスで帰りました。乗車時間35分～40分、一人＄2です。バスは2時間に1本とかなので、事前に調べていかれるといいと思います。

Didn't see anything at the first spot unfortunately.
Saw a few mantas at a second spot which was cool.
It was great that the group has a significant discount for doing another outing with them so we also did the day snorkel adventure a few days later.

The stargazing on Maui was great, so I signed up for this tour. They provide down jackets and gloves, but it's essential to have fleece and tights since it gets cold at the summit. The departure is leisurely in the afternoon, allowing for golf or shopping in the morning, making good use of your time. We eat lunch along the way, but since the location is shared with other tours, the restroom can get crowded. The contents of the lunch vary by tour, but this one included warm miso soup and hot cocoa. The sunset and stargazing were wonderful, different from what I saw on Maui. The Milky Way was clearly visible to the naked eye and felt very close. I learned a lot about the constellations. However, you have to stand and look for quite a while, so it might be a bit tiring for older adults. The stargazing tour on Maui was cheaper, but they provided simple chairs and blankets.

マウイ島での星空観測が良かったので、こちらのツアーに申し込みました。
ダウンや手袋は貸していただけますが山頂は寒いのでフリースやタイツは必須です。出発は午後ゆっくりなので午前中ゴルフや買い物ができて時間が有効に使えます。途中お弁当を食べますが他のツアーとも場所が一緒なのでトイレは混雑します。お弁当の内容もツアーによりそれぞれですがこちらは暖かい味噌汁やホットココアが付いてました♪　サンセット、星空観測はマウイ島から見たのとはまた違って素晴らしかったです。天の川が肉眼でもはっきりとしかも近くに感じました。星座の話も勉強になりました。ただ立ったままかなりの時間眺めなくてはいけないので中高年以上の方はちょっと疲れます。
マウイ島の星空観測ツアーの方が安かったですが、簡易イスや毛布も用意されてました。

The tour guide was very friendly and nice, and I had a great time. If I have the opportunity to request again from Masashi Nature School, I would love to meet him again! I was able to learn a lot about the photo spots and the natural flora. The sunset at the summit of Mauna Kea was incredibly beautiful, and during the stargazing, I got to see Saturn through the telescope that the guide brought, clearly seeing the rings for the first time, which was moving. I also enjoyed seeing the Milky Way beautifully and had a great time with the explanations of the constellations, which allowed me to wrap up my last day in a wonderful atmosphere.

ツアーガイドさんがとても気さくでいい方でとても楽しむことができました。
もしまたまさしネイチャースクルールでお願いすることがあればまたお会いしたいです！
写真のスポットや、自然の草花のことも詳しく聞けて、いろいろ勉強になりました。
マウナケア山頂での夕日はとても美しく、星空観測の時もガイドさんが持ってきてくれた望遠鏡で土星を見せてもらい、土星の輪までくっきり見たのは初めてで、感動的でした。また天野川も綺麗に見れて、星座の説明など楽しくしていただき、とてもいい雰囲気で滞在最終日を締めくくることができました

I was a bit scared when they said there were no life jackets, but surprisingly, I floated just fine. I was so moved to see a pod of dolphins, and then… a big shark was slowly swimming along the bottom, and I was told to get back on the boat quickly. Wait, seriously? That silhouette was definitely a shark. It was huge. I heard that sharks eat dolphins.

So, I might have spent less time in the water, but I made it back safely, so it’s a good memory.

ライフジャケットなしって言われて、ちょっとびびったけど、意外と浮くので、なんとか。
イルカの群れに会えて感動と思ったら…大きなシャークが、水底をゆーっくり泳いでて、早く、ボートに上がってって。えっ、まじか。
確かにあのシルエットは、サメに間違いない。大きい。サメは、イルカ食べるらしい。
そんな感じで、水中にいる時間、少なめかも、だけど、無事帰れたので、良い思い出。

Night snorkeling with Manta Rays was definitely one of the highlights on our trip to The Big Island!
You get the opportunity to see these huge, gracious creatures up close under the water but no fear, they are not dangerous at all. The SeaQuest crew did an excellent job, making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable on the boat, in the water and with the snorkeling gear.
The crew were very knowledgeable and caring about the Manta rays safety too. After the tour, everyone was served hot chocolate and cookies. Tip: bring warm clothes.

It was disappointing that the participants in another car were noisy. They were getting excited and loud during sunset, but I wanted to quietly appreciate the beauty of nature and feel the sunset, so it was just bothersome to me. Their excited voices ended up in the video, and I had to edit them out.

I think a single word from the guide could change the participants' consideration. That's why I lowered my rating by one star.

Our guide, Shin, was excellent in explaining safety, the significance of the area as a sacred place for the indigenous people, and the stars. We were fortunate with the weather, and the scenery was amazing. I believe it's a sacred place worth visiting at least once in a lifetime. Thank you!

同行した別の車の参加者が騒々しかったのが興醒めでした。日没の際大きな声で盛り上がっていましたが、大自然に畏敬の念を抱き、静かに日没を感じたかった私には煩いとしか感じませんでした。
ビデオにも彼女らのはしゃいだ声が入ってしまい、編集して消しました。
ガイドさんの一言で参加者の配慮も変わってくると思います。ですので評価をひとつ落としました。

こちらのガイド、シンさんは安全面の説明も、ここが原住の人々にとっては聖地だということも、星空の説明も、お見事でした！
天候にも恵まれ、景色は最高でした。一生に一度は行く価値のある神聖な場所だと思いました。

Two days ago, there was a road closure above the Onizuka Visitor Center due to snow at the summit of Mauna Kea, which made me a bit anxious, but the tour went ahead without any issues. The driver was surprisingly quiet. I wondered if he was in a bad mood, but after about an hour of driving, we arrived at the Onizuka Visitor Center. We had a bento lunch with warm miso soup. There were also warm coffee, tea, and even cocoa prepared for us. This was the time for altitude acclimatization. We bought souvenirs and took photos. From there, we drove on a rough road close to the summit. I didn't feel sick at all. The driver kept teaching us how to breathe properly. He even stopped the car at a spot with remaining snow for a photo opportunity. He took our pictures with the Subaru Telescope in the background during sunset. After that, we descended to around 3000 meters. There were two teams from the same tour company for stargazing, intentionally on a full moon night. It was too bright, so there were fewer stars, but we were able to observe Saturn and the moon. Our driver seemed like a technician and took photos of us with the starry sky as the backdrop. Those photos can be downloaded for free after returning to Japan. Just remember, it’s really cold, so dress warmly. They provide warm shoes, socks, and outerwear, which is great. I wore Heattech. As for the restroom, there is a simple toilet at the summit, but it seems to be quite a challenge to use it while wearing winter clothing. It didn't seem dirty, though. It takes about four hours from leaving the visitor center to the next restroom break. The simple toilet is about two hours in, roughly halfway. Just for your reference.

前々日、マウナケア山頂積雪の為、オニヅカビジターセンターより上の通行止めの情報があり、ドキドキしていましたが、無事に催行。ドライバーさん　以外に無口。機嫌悪いのかな？と一時間余りドライブしてオニヅカビジターセンターに到着。そしてお弁当。暖かいお味噌汁付き。暖かいコヒー、紅茶にココアまで用意されていました。この場所で高度順応の時間。お土産を購入したり、写真を撮ったり。そこから頂上付近まで悪路ドライブ。気分が悪くなるなんて無かったです。ドライバーさんが、ずっと呼吸の仕方を伝授してくれます。残雪が残っている所でわざわざ車を停めて撮影タイム。ドライバーさんもシャッターを押してくださいました。スバル天文台をバックにサンセット。そこから3000メーター辺りまで下って。同じツアー会社2チームでの星空観察。敢えて、満月の夜。明るすぎて　星は少なかったけど、土星や月の観測ができました。うちのドライバーさんは技術屋さんみたいで、星空をバックに写真も撮ってくれました。それらの写真は日本に帰ってから無料でダウンロードできますよ。ただ、ともかく寒いから暖かくしてくださいね。特に靴、靴下　防寒着の上下は貸してくれて暖かいですが。私はヒートテックで行きました。それと、トイレですが頂上に簡易トイレは有りますが、防寒着を着たままようを足すのも一苦労みたいです。汚くは無かったみたいです。ビジターセンターを出発してから次のトイレ休憩まで4時間くらいかかります。簡易トイレは丁度、2時間、中間くらいです。参考までに。

I participated on November 25, 2018.
Everything went according to schedule, and it was great to arrive at the hotel two hours early.
The guide provided explanations about the scenery along the way, creating a friendly atmosphere in the vehicle.
We were blessed with good weather, and the sunset was magnificent.
I was worried about altitude sickness, but I was able to enjoy the trip without any issues.
The stargazing just below the summit had perfect conditions, and I saw more stars than ever in my life. The explanations about constellations using the laser pointer were also accurate and fantastic!

2018年11月25日に参加しました。
全ての予定が時間通りに進みました、帰りのホテルに到着が2時間早く着いた事は良かったです。
ガイドの方の道中の景色の説明で車内も和気あいあいな雰囲気の中過ごせました。
天候に恵まれてサンセットも素晴らしかったです。
心配していた高山病もかかることなく過ごせました。
山頂から少し下ったところでの星空観測も最高の条件が重なり、人生最大の数多くの星が見れたし、レザーポイントを使っての星座などの解説も的確で最高でした！

Advance reservations are essential due to the popularity of the tour. The weather on the day is truly left to chance. On the day of participation, which was three days after the full moon, we were able to see an incredibly beautiful starry sky since the stargazing time was before the moon rose! They also provide explanations of constellations with a laser pointer (the impressive kind). It's like a real planetarium. You can also take photos (available for free download later), so there's more to enjoy after the tour. The sunset is also perfect! The sunset over the sea of clouds is a must-see. The summit of Mauna Kea is quite cold. They can lend you warm clothing, but I recommend bringing something like a sweatshirt that you can easily put on.

Our guide, Masa, was kind and very attentive! Generally, the guides are Japanese (though there may be some from other countries). It feels a bit awkward to give a tip, but since we are in Hawaii, I recommend giving a little something during the hotel transfer. Just for your reference.

人気ツアーの為、事前予約必須。当日の天候は、本当に運任せ。汗。参加日は、満月の3日後でしたが、星空観測の時間が月の登る前であった為、めちゃくちゃキレイな星空が観れました！レーザーポインター(すごいやつ)で星座の説明もしてくれます。リアルプラネタリウムです。写真撮影(後日、無料ダウンロード可)もしていただけるので、ツアー後にも楽しみがあります。サンセットもバッチリ！雲海に沈む夕陽は、必見です。マウナケア山頂は、ふつーに寒いです。防寒着を貸していただけますが、サクッと着れるスウェット等の持参をオススメします。
ガイドのマサさんは、親切丁寧で非常に良かったです！基本的には、ガイドさんは日本人(外国籍の方もいる)の方になるかと思います。チップをお渡しするのに違和感がありますが、ハワイであることは間違いないので、ホテルへの送迎時に気持ちをお渡しすることをオススメします。ご参考までに。

The sunset and starry sky were, of course, wonderful, but the explanations from our guide Masa were easy to understand and very knowledgeable! It was informative to hear about the history and stars.

They provide winter clothing, lunch boxes, and drinks, so you can participate easily, which I highly recommend!

The best part is that you can download the photos taken by the guide with a DSLR for free! The pictures with the starry sky background are perfect.

The price might be high, but the experience was worth it.

夕日、星空がすばらしいのはもちろんですが、ガイドのマサさんの説明がわかりやすく、また博識でした！歴史や星の説明を聞けるので、ためになりました。
防寒具、お弁当、飲み物の用意があるので、気軽に参加できますので、おすすめです！
一番のおすすめポイントは、ガイドさんが撮ってくれた一眼レフの写真の無料ダウンロードが可能なところです！星空バックの写真もばっちりです。
料金は高いかもしれませんが、それ以上の体験ができました。

Our family attended the dinner cruise on Thanksgiving and we were not disappointed. The food and scenery were both excellent, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer questions. The music was also very good, and there was even some dancing during the return trip. Would highly recommend this trip during your stay on the Big Island.

I participated because I wanted to see manta rays up close. The boat ride was fine, but while we were searching for the manta point, the boat was stopped and it was really rocky, causing more than half of the people to get seasick. I felt so nauseous that it was tough to get into the water.

I did see the manta rays, but the seasickness was so painful that it diminished the enjoyment...

マンタを近くで見てみたくて参加しました。
船で移動中は大丈夫でしたが、マンタポイントを探す間、船が止まっていたんですが、揺れが凄くて半数以上の人が船酔いしていました。
気持ち悪くなり過ぎて、海に入るまでが大変でした。

マンタは見れましたが、船酔いが辛すぎて楽しさが薄れました。。。

Overall, great and once in a lifetime experience to see manta ray(s) up close. We also saw a reef shark and lots of schooling fish. Seaquest provides you with everything you need (wet suit, snorkel gear, etc.). You may leave your dry items on the boat (ie. valuables, phones). All you really need is a towel since it can get chilly after.

We saw one manta ray up close which was spectacular. The remainder of the snorkeling experience was a lot of waiting around and viewing other wildlife. Staff were kind and willing to help out with all our needs.

This was an experience of a lifetime. The guys and girls and SeaQuest we're so helpful and made the night so much fun. They even called as we got a little turned around on the way there. Everything from getting aboard the boat to dropping off afterwards and everything in between was really easy. When in the water we had lots of Manta Ray sightings. They are enormous beautiful creatures! The crew was very knowledgeable and their passion shows! We would definitely do this night snorkel again on our next trip.

Great way to spend a day and learn about the Big Island. If you are lucky enough to have Keith Mowibski as your guide the tour gets better by 10X. He is knowledgeable about the history of the island like no ones business. Can’t say enough good things about this tour.

Since I joined the tour in November, I was able to participate even though it had snowed the day before and the mountain gate was closed until just before the tour started. I was thrilled that the tour guide was the famous Big Jin. We joined from Kona and stopped at a scenic overlook on the way to Waikoloa to take some photos. On Saddle Road, we also had a little time to enjoy a spot where we could take pictures with the lava, in addition to Mauna Kea and the starry sky. I was worried about altitude sickness, but thanks to the professional guide's instructions and advice, everyone was fine. The tour itself had two vehicles, but Jin's proactive actions and experience meant we always arrived earlier than the other vehicle, allowing us more time and better timing for bathroom breaks. Although there were many clouds on the day, and it was disappointing not to see the sunset or the starry sky from the highest point, the tour itself was incredibly rich and provided a great experience.

11月に入ってからの参加でしたので当日もツアー開始時間ぎりぎり前まで前日に雪が降り山のゲートが封鎖されていたそうですが、参加することが出来ました。しかもツアーガイドが有名なビッグジンさんで感激しました。私達はコナからの参加でワイコロアまで行く途中Scenic Overlookと言う景色のいいポイントに停まって写真を撮ってくれました。サドルロードでも溶岩と写真の撮れるポイントで少し時間をくれてマウナケアや星空以外も少し楽しめました。高山病が不安でしたがプロのガイドの指示やアドバイスで全員かからなかったです。ツアー自体が2台の車だったのですがジンさんの早め早めの行動と経験で　もう1台の車より常に早く着き時間が多く取れたりトイレに行くタイミングなど気配りがとても良かったです。当日は雲が多く期待したサンセットが見れなかったり、星空ツアーが1番高い所で見れなかったのは残念でしたがツアー自体はものすごく濃く良い経験ができました。

We had a great time and seen so many sights! Our guide Brett had great knowledge and could answer all questions.
Because we had extra time we got to see the rainbow falls and got to go into a lava cave. Sadly the stargazing didn't happen due to clouds and rain.
Snacks, water and food were all plenty and good. Especially dinner at kilauea lodge was excellent, be it a bit rushed.
After the recent eruptions there was no lava activity, but we can only imagine how much more beautiful the sites would be with active lava flows.

The weather on the day was cloudy with occasional rain. There was also information that the conditions at the summit were not good. Despite the explanation that we might have to turn back without reaching the top, the tour set off. Everyone must have felt a sense of tension and unease. By the time we took a break for lunch at a park, we were still in a state of uncertainty, but we enjoyed a long-awaited Japanese bento and miso soup, which boosted our spirits threefold. After we set off again, we were even able to see a rainbow, and the mood in the vehicle reached its peak.

In the end, we were able to reach the summit. The view was absolutely stunning, and I was very satisfied. Surprisingly, the air didn't feel as thin as I expected, and even when an older man skipped, he wasn't out of breath.

最悪登頂できずにUターンとの説明の中ツアーは出発。
皆、気が気ではないだろう緊張感を感じる。
途中、公園で弁当休憩した頃にはまだ暗中模索の状態だったが、久しぶりの日本の弁当と味噌汁を堪能して元気3倍。
再出発後に虹も拝むことができ、車内のテンションは最高潮。

それはそれは素晴らしい景色で大満足。
思ったよりも空気は薄く感じず、おっさんがスキップしても息は上がらなかったのである。

11/10 我們的司機Chris 準時來接我們，在去接第二組客人時，他為我們講解沿路火山與海灘的景色，他是在這出生有少部分夏威夷原住民的血統，能遇到當地長大的居民做為我們的導遊，真是幸運！他從開始到行程結束始終掛著笑容為我們服務!
第一站是Kona 咖啡園: 在這裡我們繞了一圈咖啡園,可惜的是因為是周末,只有兩個烘培機器運轉著,途中還看見了Lava Tube,就是熔岩管,它是熔岩洞的一種,從這開始了對火山的認識。在這裡有各式免費咖啡的試飲,我試了Kona coffee medium roast 與有夏威夷豆口味所混合夏威夷咖啡,各有不同的風味!Chris 為我們在桌上準備了午餐,是亞洲式午餐有日本紫薯,魚片,雞肉與白飯,配上Kona的各式果汁! 是亞洲人喜歡的口味!
第二站到了黑沙灘看海龜:Chris 雖然不能保證是否看到海龜,一下車往海灘的方向,但我們非常期待,拉著兒子的小手往沙灘前進,踩在黑沙灘上是很特別的經驗,黑沙灘的沙是冷卻的岩漿經過風力與海水沖刷而成的,沙的顆粒很小摸起來很舒服,不過一會兒就看見一隻烏龜在沙灘上休息著,大家太过興奮靠近時,被在沙灘上的救生員喊ˇ著說”請給烏龜足夠的空間"! 在這地方有標示牌請大家給他們至少30ft 的空間,不可餵食也不可觸摸!在這片黑沙灘上是開著荷花的池塘,和諧地與海邊的景色共存著,非常美麗的景色.雖然只看見一隻海龜,還是非常值得.
第三站: 一連串的火山探險之旅,首先來到火山國家公園,Chris 分享著他在前幾個夜間所拍的照片,火紅的岩漿從洞口發出,非常驚人的景色,目前能見到的是火山停止噴發後不斷地發出的煙,這時候已經來到熱帶雨林區,天氣涼爽許多,再加上小雨落下,景色非常的特別,從海邊到山上,溫度驟降,但是貼心的Chris為大家準備了外套與雨衣,不需要擔心沒有帶外套,唯一的建議是要穿包腳的鞋子!
再來去看了crater lookout, steam vests,sea Arch 還有Chains of Craters Road.分別是火山口,蒸氣口,海邊拱門,最後在僅存的舊道路上欣賞熔岩經過的歷史痕跡! 如此接近因火山活動而產生變化的自然奇景,是來到大島時一定要參加的行程! 當我們站在舊有的道路上轉身往後一看在高處則是近期因火山活動留下的黑色的痕跡,在這Chris 找出各式不一樣型態的殘留物,仔細講解著,真的是更認識了大島!

一下車就已經能清楚看見滿天的星斗,透過Chris 架設的高倍望遠鏡看到了火星,邱比特星跟月球.同行有人看見了流星!
我真心推薦大家參加這個行程,不論你是一個人,兩人或親子行,都能享受從行程中帶來的樂趣與各樣的驚喜!

From the start of this tour we knew it was going to be great. The staff are friendly & engaging. Admittedly it was only our family of 4, which was really nice. The whole afternoon was filled with tuna jumping around us, checking out caves, snorkelling in what I can only describe as one of the best snorkel locations I have ever been to, finishing with dolphins swimming with us on our way back! If I was here for longer I would go again.

Must do in Big Island!!! Amazing sunset and stargazing experience. Never experienced anyth like this before.

Tour guides were really experienced, friendly and we felt absolutely safe during the entire tour. If I were ever in Big Island, would definitely book the same tour.

The view of the volcano was amazing. The nature could be so destructive and beautifull

The whole experience was amazing! We arrived late due to road closures, our guide Kevin was so patient & kind. We set out in hopes of finding dolphins, you never know if they’ll show up. Boy did they! We were the only people out there so we had them all to our selves. The dolphins swam & played with us for an hour. Stunning & thrilling, an experience we’ll cherish forever!!! Thank you so much Kevin for sharing your passion!
My suggestion, bring your underwater camera!

我在計畫大島旅行前，從網站搜尋到其他人的分享，其中有許多人推薦從www.hawaiiactivies.com訂購行程，在大島的第一天抬頭看見星星已經吸引了我，我決定找一個可以看星星的行程。我們不打算租車，因此以有接送的行程為優先考量，11/08 我們試著在網上訂 Big island Twilight Volcano Tour & Stargazing with Dinner 的行程，這個行程包含接送,午晚餐!另外的優惠就是在行程後發文分享，可以有一位的50%退款反回! 當我們試著在網上訂這個行程，因為沒有找到小孩的訂購選項，而直接打電話由Ms. Nunia 協助，她在跟技術 部門溝通也確定多恩的年紀可以參加後，她打電話回覆我們，協助我們訂購2大一小(3Y5M) 的全日遊，謝謝她的幫助！第一次與這個公司交涉留下很好的印象!
11/10 我們的司機Chris 準時來接我們，在去接第二組客人時，他為我們講解沿路火山與海灘的景色，他是在這出生有少部分夏威夷原住民的血統，能遇到當地長大的居民做為我們的導遊，真是幸運！他從開始到行程結束始終掛著笑容為我們服務!
第一站是Kona 咖啡園: 在這裡我們繞了一圈咖啡園,可惜的是因為是周末,只有兩個烘培機器運轉著,途中還看見了Lava Tube,就是熔岩管,它是熔岩洞的一種,從這開始了對火山的認識。在這裡有各式免費咖啡的試飲,我試了Kona coffee medium roast 與有夏威夷豆口味所混合夏威夷咖啡,各有不同的風味!Chris 為我們在桌上準備了午餐,是亞洲式午餐有日本紫薯,魚片,雞肉與白飯,配上Kona的各式果汁! 是亞洲人喜歡的口味!
第二站到了黑沙灘看海龜:Chris 雖然不能保證是否看到海龜,一下車往海灘的方向,但我們非常期待,拉著兒子的小手往沙灘前進,踩在黑沙灘上是很特別的經驗,黑沙灘的沙是冷卻的岩漿經過風力與海水沖刷而成的,沙的顆粒很小摸起來很舒服,不過一會兒就看見一隻烏龜在沙灘上休息著,大家太过興奮靠近時,被在沙灘上的救生員喊ˇ著說”請給烏龜足夠的空間"! 在這地方有標示牌請大家給他們至少30ft 的空間,不可餵食也不可觸摸!在這片黑沙灘上是開著荷花的池塘,和諧地與海邊的景色共存著,非常美麗的景色.雖然只看見一隻海龜,還是非常值得.
第三站: 一連串的火山探險之旅,首先來到火山國家公園,Chris 分享著他在前幾個夜間所拍的照片,火紅的岩漿從洞口發出,非常驚人的景色,目前能見到的是火山停止噴發後不斷地發出的煙,這時候已經來到熱帶雨林區,天氣涼爽許多,再加上小雨落下,景色非常的特別,從海邊到山上,溫度驟降,但是貼心的Chris為大家準備了外套與雨衣,不需要擔心沒有帶外套,唯一的建議是要穿包腳的鞋子!
再來去看了crater lookout, steam vests,sea Arch 還有Chains of Craters Road.分別是火山口,蒸氣口,海邊拱門,最後在僅存的舊道路上欣賞熔岩經過的歷史痕跡! 如此接近因火山活動而產生變化的自然奇景,是來到大島時一定要參加的行程! 當我們站在舊有的道路上轉身往後一看在高處則是近期因火山活動留下的黑色的痕跡,在這Chris 找出各式不一樣型態的殘留物,仔細講解著,真的是更認識了大島!

I love dolphin swimming and have been to Mikurajima in Japan and the Bahamas in the past.

During my first visit to the Big Island, I participated in tours with your company and another local American company led by a captain with a small group. If I have the chance to come again, I would like to request Aloha Kona Tours. (^^)

The tour guide provided clear instructions, and the captain was attentive to observing the dolphins.

I believe both first-time dolphin swimmers and experienced ones can feel at ease.

The dolphins I encountered this time were often resting or moving around, so I hope to have the chance to communicate joyfully with them again someday. ♬

The sight of the wild spinner dolphins jumping was breathtaking.

ドルフィンスイムが大好きで、過去に日本の御蔵島やバハマへ行きました。

初のハワイ島では御社と他社(アメリカのローカルの方がキャプテンの少人数ツアー)に参加しましたが、次回また来ることがありましたら、アロハコナツアーズさんにお願いしようと思っています。(^^)

的確な指示をくれるツアーガイドさんと、ドルフィンのことをしっかり観察されているキャプテン。

初めてドルフィンスイムに挑戦される方も、経験者の方も、安心して頂けると思います。

今回私が出逢ったイルカちゃんたちは休養中や移動が多かったので、またイルカちゃんと楽しくコミュニケーションがとれることをリベンジ出来る日が来ると良いなと思いす♬

It was a tour that participated as the main dish on the Big Island, and it was really great! Especially during the stargazing, the weather was good, and I was able to see the Milky Way with a richness that can't be seen in Japan, which was moving! The tour guide was also very considerate, sharing fun stories and many tales about the volcanoes of the Big Island. Thanks to that, my plans for the next day were perfect! Thank you very much!

ハワイ島のメインディッシュとして参加したツアーでしたが、ほんとに良かったです！
特に星空観測の時には天気が良かったのも重なって、天の川を日本では見られない濃さで見ることができて、感動でした！
ツアーガイドの方も気を遣ってくださり、楽しい話やハワイ島の火山の話をたくさんしていただきました。お陰で次の日の計画もバッチリ！
