In the morning, we went snorkeling and in the afternoon, we had a tour of the Pumpkin Cave. The weather in Miyako Island is unpredictable, and while I was putting on my wetsuit for snorkeling, it started to rain heavily. I felt cold and anxious, but our guide, Jun, had the best smile and provided thorough explanations.

The water was surprisingly warm, and we were greeted by many fish! We went to a spot with colorful fish, and at each point, the guide explained about the fish and their habits while we swam. He even took photos of us with the fish, capturing angles that are hard to get on your own. The shots with the fish "Nemo" turned out beautifully.

In the afternoon, our plan for the Pumpkin Cave was postponed due to the weather. It was rescheduled for two days later. There were 16 of us in total, with three instructors. After waiting, it turned out to be incredibly fun.

We canoed to the cave entrance, greeted the gods at the entrance, and swam into the cave. We used ropes to climb and explored the cave, which was a treasure trove of stalactites. On the way back, we dove from a height of about 3 meters into the emerald-colored water! (Is this the shortcut to get outside?) It felt like a Titanic experience! We paddled the canoe back to the beach. It was a wonderful experience.

Participating in the tour included photo sessions, and they sent the pictures via LINE on the same day, leaving us with great memories. The guides kept everyone entertained while providing solid guidance, making the time fly by. I am truly grateful. Thank you very much.

　午前中シュノーケルと午後からのパンプキン鍾乳洞ツアー。
宮古島の天気は変わりやすくスノーケルの準備でスエットスーツを着ている間に大雨。寒くて不安になったが、ガイドのじゅんサンは最高の笑顔とともに充分な説明。
　海の中は以外と暖かく、沢山のお魚がお出迎え！色とりどりのお魚のポイントへ。その都度お魚の説明や習性も泳ぎながら説明。お魚と一緒にガイドさんのカメラで撮影もしてくれました。お魚『ニモ』との撮影は個人ではなかなか撮れないアングル。とっても素敵に撮影してもらいました。
午後からはパンプキン鍾乳洞の予定があいにくの天気で延期。2日後にパンプキン鍾乳洞催行。総勢16人でインストラクターさんが3人。待たされた分もあり最高に楽しかったです。
　カヌーで洞窟入り口まで行き、洞窟の入り口で神様に挨拶をして、水の中を泳いで洞窟の中へ。ロープを使って洞窟を登り、鍾乳洞を探検。中は鍾乳洞の宝庫。帰りは3mぐらいある高さから、エメラルド色に光る水面に向かってダイブ！(ここを通るのが外へ出る近道？)タイタニック体験をした気分！乗ってきたカヌーを漕いで浜辺まで。とてもいい体験ができました。ツアーに参加すると写真撮影付き、その日のうちにラインに送ってくれるのでとてもいい思い出が残せました。
ガイドさん達もみんなを楽しませながらしっかり誘導してくれたので楽しい時が過ぎせました。本当に感謝です。ありがとうございました。

During this time (March), it was colder than I expected, so I recommend wearing slightly warmer clothing. Also, it's good to have clothes that can get wet.

この時期(3月)は思ったよりも寒かったので、少し暖かめの服装をおすすめします。また、濡れてもいい服装がいいです。

It was my first time snorkeling in my life, and I had a lot of fun observing various fish that I usually wouldn't see, following the lead of our guide. One of my goals for this snorkeling experience was to actually see a clownfish, so I was thrilled when I found one hiding in the coral. Additionally, the Pumpkin Cave was so much more mystical and beautiful than what I had seen in photos, and I was deeply moved thinking about how this landscape was formed over many years. The guides were friendly and also shared recommendations for delicious restaurants in Miyako Island beyond just snorkeling. I was very satisfied with the tour content, and it was a meaningful experience to connect with the great nature of Miyako Island.

シュノーケリングをしたのは人生で初めてでしたが、ガイドの方の先導についていく形で普段見られないような様々な魚たちを観察することができ、とても楽しかったです。カクレクマノミを実際に見る！というのが今回の自分のシュノーケリングの目標でもあったため、サンゴに隠れるカクレクマノミを見つけたときは嬉しかったです。また、パンプキン鍾乳洞は写真で見るのと比較にならないほど神秘的で美しく、長い年月をかけてこの景観が生まれたと思うととても感動しました。ガイドの方も気さくな方々で、シュノーケリングのこと以外にも宮古島のおいしいご飯屋さんなども教えてくれました。ツアーの内容には大満足で、宮古島に広がる大自然の一端に触れることができ、非常に有意義でした。

It was a cloudy day in early March, but thanks to the wetsuit, I wasn't cold. The Pumpkin Cave was not only for viewing; with the help of the guide, I was able to climb and reach the depths of the cave unique to the sea, and I got some wonderful photos… and finally, I dove into the sea! During the sea turtle snorkeling, I encountered not only sea turtles but also small fish, making it an unforgettable day. However, it seems that for moving between the two spots, you need to request transportation in advance, so those without a car should be careful.

３月初旬の曇りの日でしたが、ウェットスーツのお陰で寒くなかったです。
パンプキン鍾乳洞は見るだけでなく、ガイドさんが手伝ってくれてよじ登って、海ならではの鍾乳洞の奥まで行けて、ステキな写真も撮ってくれて…最後は海にダイブ！
ウミガメシュノーケリングでは、ウミガメのほか小さな魚たちにも会えたし、どちらも心奪われる最高の１日でした。
ただし、２ヶ所のスポットの移動には、事前に送迎をお願いする必要があるそうですので、クルマがない方はご注意ください。

Kayaking was easy for beginners to grasp, but the path to the waterfall was quite challenging for me, perhaps due to my lack of regular exercise, as I had to climb over rocks in several places. The younger participants seemed to handle it effortlessly (laughs). However, I was grateful for our guide, who not only taught us about the unique plants and wildlife of Iriomote Island in a fun way but also took care to walk with us. The handmade bento while enjoying the view of the waterfall was fantastic.

カヤックは初心者でも簡単にコツがつかめましたが、肝心の瀧まで行く道は私にとっては日頃の運動不足のせいか、ところどころ足を次の岩場にかけて登ったりとハードでした。若い方は楽勝でしたが（笑）ただ、ガイドさんに西表島特有の植物や、生物を楽しく教えてもらいなかわら、また気を遣って歩いて下さるなどして頂きありがたかったです。手作りのおべんとうも滝つぼを眺めながら最高でした、

The meeting time and snorkeling location may change depending on the sea conditions that day. When we participated, the meeting time was 11:30, and we wrapped up around 15:30 without a lunch break. We traveled by canoe to Pumpkin Cave. After getting off the canoe, we received an explanation about the sacred nature of the cave at the entrance and prayed together before entering. Inside the cave, despite its narrowness, we climbed stalactites, experienced the blessings of the waterfall, and engaged in activities like high diving, incorporating elements of canyoning. Throughout the experience, we felt a solemn sense of nature's grandeur and were grateful for this precious opportunity. After returning to the coast by canoe, we headed to the next activity site at Shigira Beach. Considering the wave conditions, today's snorkeling took place at Shigira Beach. The chance of encountering sea turtles was said to be 1 in 3, but fortunately, we were able to swim with a sea turtle. We saw various corals, unicorn fish, butterfly fish, damselfish, wrasse, and many other tropical fish. It was a highly satisfying tour, packed with experiences. It was also great that we received many photos, allowing us to participate without a waterproof camera.

その日の海の状況で集合時間やシュノーケルの場所が変わるようです。
私達が参加時は集合時間11:30お昼休憩なしで15:30頃解散でした。
パンプキン鍾乳洞までカヌーで移動。
カヌーを降りて鍾乳洞入口で聖域であるという事の説明を受け、皆で参拝の後に入洞。
狭いながらに鍾乳洞の中で鍾乳石を登ったり、神様のありがたい滝に打たれたり、高跳び込みしたりとキャニオニング要素のアクティビティ。
終始厳かな気持ちで自然の荘厳さを感じながら貴重な体験をさせて頂きました。
カヌーに乗り海岸まで戻り、次のアクティビティ会場のシギラ海岸へ。
波の状況を鑑みて本日のシュノーケルはシギラ海岸。
ウミガメ遭遇率は1/3との事ですがありがたい事にウミガメと一緒に泳ぐ事が出来ました。
様々な珊瑚やツノダシ、チョウチョウウオ、スズメダイ、ベラ、モンガラ、ダツ様々な熱帯魚。
全てが濃縮された大満足のツアーでした。
写真画像も沢山貰えるので防水カメラなしでお気楽に参加出来るのも良かったです。

I had a great time exploring Iriomote Island on the half-day tour! The guide was fun to be with, and both kayaking and playing in the waterfall were amazing. I was with my foreign husband, and the guide spoke English, which made our conversations lively. I was also happy to get a lot of great photos taken. I highly recommend this tour!

半日コースで西表島を満喫できました!
ガイドさんとは一緒に楽しめて、カヤックも滝壺遊びも最高でした。
外国人の旦那さんと一緒でしたがガイドさんは英語も話すので会話が弾みました。
いい写真もたくさん撮ってもらえて嬉しかったです。

I had a wonderful experience participating in activities on Miyako Island this time. The tour of the Pumpkin Cave was fantastic, and the staff who guided us were very friendly and attentive, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience. It was the best!

The canoe ride to the Pumpkin Cave and the dive into the sea leading to the cave were thrilling... the sea was a bit rough, but that added to the fun! What happens after entering the cave is something to look forward to.

In any case, I highly recommend joining the Pumpkin Cave tour in Miyako!

今回は宮古島でのアクティビティーの参加でとても楽しい思い出が出来ました。
パンプキン鍾乳洞のツアーは、ガイドをしてくださったスタッフの方は、とてもフレンドリーで私達にとても親切な対応と気配りで安心して参加させて頂き最高〜でした。
パンプキン鍾乳洞行くまでのカヌー、そして海へのダイブからの鍾乳洞…海は少し荒れてましたが、またそれが楽しかったですね！

Snorkeling: Even though it was early March, I was able to enjoy it without feeling cold thanks to the wetsuit. I had a great time seeing various fish up close, including sea turtles and Nemo!

Pumpkin Cave: We paddled to the entrance of the cave by canoe from the sandy beach. They lent us lights, so I was able to illuminate the areas I was curious about while enjoying the mystical space.

Overall, not only did I experience the beauty of Miyako Island's nature, but the guide's explanations and support were also sufficient, making it a very satisfying tour! I would like to participate again when I visit Miyako Island.

シュノーケル:ウェットスーツを着ることで3月の上旬でしたが寒さを感じることなく楽しむことが出来ました。ウミガメやニモを代表に様々な魚を間近で目にすることが出来、楽しかったです‼︎

パンプキン鍾乳洞:砂浜からカヌーで鍾乳洞の入り口まで向かいました。ライトを貸して頂けるので自分の気になる所を照らしながら神秘的な空間を楽しむことが出来ました。

全体を通じて宮古島の自然の美しさを体感できただけでなくガイドの方の説明やサポートも十分で非常に満足できるツアーでした！
また宮古島を訪れる際にはもう一度参加したいと思います。

I was looking for some fun activities and found this site where I made a reservation. To sum it up, I had an amazing experience that far exceeded my expectations! The guide provided insights about the nature of Miyako Island, and I was deeply moved by the beauty of the entrance to the cave that can only be accessed from the sea. I think people of all ages can enjoy this! The guides were also very friendly and introduced us to delicious restaurants and hidden gem spots in Miyako Island. I definitely want to recommend this tour to many people!

何か楽しそうなアクティビティがないか探していたところ、こちらのサイトで見つけて予約をしました。結論から言うと、予想を大幅に超えてくる大変素晴らしい経験をさせてもらいました！宮古島の自然についてガイドがあったり、海からしか入れない洞窟への入り口の中の美しさがとても感動しました。老若男女楽しめると思います！ガイドさんたちもとても仲が良く、宮古島の美味しいお店や知る人ぞ知るような穴場スポットなども紹介していただきました。ぜひ色んな方にこのツアーをオススメしたいです！

The dazzling sun and the transparent sea welcomed us. It was an experience filled with more excitement and adventure than I had anticipated.

I was a bit anxious about whether we could reach the cave by canoe due to the waves and my age, but with the wonderful advice from Mana and the teamwork of the staff, we made it to our destination happily.

I understood immediately why it’s called Pumpkin Cave as soon as we entered.

We took a lot of photos, and it became the best memory.

It’s a fun experience that everyone can participate in with confidence!

波が少しあり鍾乳洞までカヌーで行けるのか年齢的なこともあり少し不安でしたが、素敵なマナさんのアドバイスとスタッフの連携で楽しく目的地まで行けました
パンプキン鍾乳洞と呼ばれる理由が、入った瞬間分かりました。

I was able to make a reservation the day before and had the experience. The meeting time was changed according to the tide conditions, so we started at 8 AM. I only saw a sea turtle once, but I was able to watch it for a long time, and it was very cute.

After that, we moved to a different point and took a canoe to the cave. During this transfer, we were lent waterproof seats to sit on in the car while still in our swimsuits, which was a lifesaver! By laying down my leisure sheet, the car also stayed dry.

I thought we would just be looking at the Pumpkin Cave, but unexpectedly, we were able to climb inside the cave and move deeper while receiving explanations! It was very mystical, and I had a lot of fun feeling like I was on an adventure! The guides were all interesting and made it very enjoyable.

前日でしたが予約でき、体験することができました。
潮の状況に合わせて集合時間が変更されるということで8時集合でスタートしました。
ウミガメは1度しか見れませんでしたが、その代わり長い時間見ることができてとてもかわいかったです
その後ポイントを移動してカヌーで鍾乳洞のポイントまで移動。この移動の時も水着のまま車に乗るために防水のシートを貸していただけました、助かった〜！手持ちのレジャーシートも敷いたことで車も濡れずに済みました。
パンプキン鍾乳洞は見るだけかと思いきや、まさかのその鍾乳洞を登り、奥まで解説してもらいながら進むことができました！とても神秘的だったし、冒険してる感じが楽しかったです！！
ガイドさんたちも皆さん面白くてとても楽しかったです♪

The weather on the day I had my reservation in Miyako Island was rainy and windy, so unfortunately, it was canceled... but I made a comeback the next day. The weather was better than yesterday, so we started snorkeling!

Wearing a wetsuit, I entered the sea, and the sun peeked out a bit, creating a nice atmosphere (^o^). Even in February, the coldest time of the year, I could swim comfortably in a wetsuit. I wonder if the seawater is warmer?

The instructor led us to a coral reef where there were lots of fish. I got to see colorful tropical fish, especially the cute clownfish, and just as the tour title promised, we also encountered a sea turtle. Unfortunately, the Pumpkin Cave was canceled due to strong winds. But I was satisfied with just the snorkeling.

Normally, would both activities be canceled in this situation? (It would be less hassle for the company, right?) I honestly thought it was impressive how they adapted flexibly, considering the customers.

During this pandemic, when it's hard to travel abroad, I was able to forget my daily life and feel rejuvenated! It was moving!!

I received great support from the tour company both the day before and on the day of the tour. The staff were kind and very attentive in answering my questions, which doubled the enjoyment of my trip! Also, the quality of the photos they took was high, and I continue to feel relaxed looking at them after returning home. I'm really glad I participated! Thank you very much!! If I have the chance to go again, I would choose this tour company and want to make a comeback to the Pumpkin Cave that I missed.

予約した日の宮古島のお天気は雨で風も強く、あいにく中止になり、、、翌日にリベンジ。
翌日は昨日よりはマシだったので、シュノーケル開始！
ウェットスーツを着て、海に入ると太陽もチラッと顔を出してくれていい感じに(^o^)
ウェットスーツを着てるとこの2月の一番寒い時期でも泳げます。
海水温の方が高いのかな？
イントラさんが、先頭に立ってお魚さんがたくさんいる珊瑚礁に案内してくれます。
色とりどりの熱帯魚、特に可愛いカクレクマノミのニモちゃんにも会えて、ツアーのタイトル通りの海ガメさんにも会えました。
パンプキン鍾乳洞の方は風が強くて残念ながら中止に。
でもシュノーケルだけでも満足でした。
普通はこの状態だったら、両方とも中止になるのか？(会社としたらその方が面倒くさくないですもんね？)
少しでもお客さんの事を考えて臨機応変に対応されてるのはすごいなぁ〜と、正直思いました。

このコロナ禍でなかなか海外にも行けない中、日常を忘れて癒されましたよ！！感動！！

こちらのツアー会社の方には前日も当日も大変、お世話になりました。
スタッフの皆さんは優しく分からない事にも、とても親身になって教えてくださり、旅の楽しさも倍増しました！
それと、撮っていただいた写真のレベルも高く、帰って来てからもその写真を見ながら癒されております。
本当に参加して良かったです！

I participated with my mother. Since we were attending during the COVID-19 pandemic, we were worried about infection control measures, but even though masks were not required, social distancing was properly maintained, so we were able to enjoy ourselves with peace of mind! Canoeing and climbing in the cave required physical strength, but the guide provided solid support, so I think people of all ages can participate. Personally, I found the moment when I jumped from the cave to be thrilling and the most fun! There were many other mysterious places, so it felt like if you go there, your wishes might come true!

母と二人で参加しました。コロナ禍での参加ということで感染対策を心配していましたが、マスクの着用は無かったもののソーシャルディスタンスがしっかり取れていたので、安心して楽しめました！カヌーを漕いだり、鍾乳洞に登ったりと体力は要りましたが、ガイドさんがしっかりサポートしてくれたので、どの年代の人も参加できると思います。自分的には鍾乳洞から飛び降りた場面がスリリングで一番面白かったです！その他にも神秘的な場所がたくさんあったので、行けば願い事が叶いそうな雰囲気でした！

I participated in the pumpkin tour that I had wanted to join for a long time on my first visit to Miyako Island! The guide was a really nice person who explained things and took photos for us.

We traveled to the limestone cave by kayak, which took about 15 minutes one way. Once we arrived at the cave, we climbed a small cliff. However, it wasn't too steep, so even women and those without much strength could easily climb it. After that, we spent about 20 minutes inside the cave, listening to the guide's explanations and taking photos. It was a very mystical place, and I was truly moved.

At the end, we jumped off from the top of the pumpkin. You can choose to jump from a high spot (about 4 meters) or a low spot (about 2 meters), and only those who want to can jump. It's said that if you make a wish while jumping, it will come true.

The photos taken by the guide will be sent to us via LINE after the tour. I brought my GoPro along, but please note that there are some places where photography is not allowed.

I'm really glad I participated in this tour. It has become one of my wonderful memories from Miyako Island.

初めての宮古島で、前から行きたかったパンプキンツアーに参加しましたー！！ガイドさんもとても良い人で説明や写真を撮ってくださりながらいきます。
鍾乳洞までは、カヤックで移動します。片道は約15分ほどで到着します。鍾乳洞に到着してからは少しだけ崖をのぼります。ただ、そこまで急ではないので女性や力がない人でもすぐに登れます。その後、ガイドさんから説明を受けたり写真をとったりして約20分ほど鍾乳洞の中で過ごしました。とても神秘的な場所で感動しました。最後は、パンプキンの上から飛び込みます。
高いところ（約4m）と低いところ（約2m）を選んで希望者のみ飛び込みます。
願い事をしながら飛び込むと叶うと言われているそうです。
撮ってくださった写真はガイドさんからツアー後にLINEでいただけます。今回はGoProを持参していきました。一部写真不可の場所はありますのでご注意下さい。
本当にこのツアーに参加して良かったです。宮古島での良い思い出の一つになりました。

Although the weather was bad, I was able to enjoy myself without any issues. Swimming with sea turtles and being able to take pictures with clownfish was very precious, and the Pumpkin Cave offered a fantastical world that can only be seen here.

悪天候ではありましたが、無事楽しむことができました。ウミガメと一緒に泳ぐことや、カクレクマノミと写真を撮れることもとても貴重でしたし、パンプキン鍾乳洞はここでしか見られない幻想的な世界が広がっていました。

I finally fulfilled my long-held dream of swimming with Nemo and the sea turtles. It felt like I jumped into a tank filled with a variety of fish. Although the weather wasn't great, an amazing world unfolded underwater.

The Pumpkin Cave was even more wonderful and mystical than I had imagined, and I’m very happy to have had such a valuable experience. The canoe ride to and from the cave was also a fun first experience.

Jun, our guide, was very friendly, kind, and provided thorough explanations with plenty of information.

Since the weather didn't seem great, I quickly booked a cave tour that wouldn't be affected by the weather the day before! To be honest, I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be incredibly fun. We canoed from the beach to the cave and trekked inside while illuminating the cave with lights. It felt like an adventure the whole time, and the cave was mystical and truly moving! I was satisfied with the tour content, but I enjoyed it even more thanks to the wonderful guides. Thank you for the fun tour!

If you're visiting Miyako Island, this is a must-experience tour that I highly recommend!

天気が良くなさそうだったため、天気に左右されなさそうな鍾乳洞ツアーを前日に急遽予約！
正直あまり期待していなかったのですが、結果めちゃくちゃ楽しかったです。
ビーチからカヌーで洞窟まで行き、洞窟内をライトで照らしながらトレッキング。
冒険しているようで終始ワクワク、鍾乳洞は神秘的で本当に感動しました！！
ツアー内容はもちろん満足ですが、ステキなガイドのみなさまのおかげで倍楽しませてもらいました。
楽しいツアーをありがとうございました！！

宮古島に訪れるなら体験しないと勿体ないくらいオススメツアーです！

I booked the Iriomote Island Mangrove Kayak & Barasu Island Snorkeling one-day course. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, it was changed to a tour of water buffaloes on Yubu Island. We went kayaking through the mangrove forest and walked underwater to see the waterfall. Both the mangroves and the waterfall were wonderful, but it was very cold, and it would have been nice to have been provided with wetsuits. It would have been even better if we could have gone deeper into the mangrove forest with the kayak.

The water buffalo tour on Yubu Island was surprisingly enjoyable, as the buffalo were cuter than I imagined. The guide was kind and gentle, and took many beautiful photos for us. Along the way, we unexpectedly encountered a very rare mantis shrimp, and it was impressive to see the guide more excited than the tour guests. Overall, it was a satisfying tour, aside from the weather!

西表島マングローブカヤック&バラス島シュノーケリング1日コースを申し込みました。
残念ながら荒天のため、バラス島から由布島水牛観光に変更になりました。
マングローブ原生林をカヤックと水中を歩いて滝を見に行きました。マングローブも滝もすばらしかったですが、とても気温が低く、ウエットスーツを貸していただけるとよかったです。カヤックも原生林の奥深くまで行けるともっとよかったです。
由布島の水牛観光は、想像以上に牛が可愛く行けてよかったです。ガイドさんも親切で優しく、綺麗な写真をたくさん撮っていただきました。道中、大変珍しいシャコと偶然遭遇し、ガイドさんがツアー客以上に興奮していたのが印象的でした。天気以外は満足のツアー！

I participated in February! The sea was cold, but since they lent us wetsuits and life jackets, it wasn't unbearable! We went kayaking near the limestone caves, and since the swimming area was about 3 meters deep, snorkeling wasn't necessary. There were a total of 6 people on the tour, so wearing masks was left up to each individual, and I didn't have any particular concerns about COVID. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the sea, so the return trip was a bit challenging as it was uphill, but the scenery was beautiful, so I enjoyed the climb. The limestone caves were a mystical space, and I think visiting them when you come to Miyako Island will create great memories. They also took photos for us and sent them via LINE right away! I thought it would have been even more enjoyable if they had shared a bit more knowledge about pumpkins and Miyako Island during the tour! I'm glad I participated! Thank you!

2月に参加しました！海は冷たかったですが、ウエットスーツとライフジャケットを貸していただいたので寒くでどうしようもない！ということはなかったです。
カヤックで鍾乳洞の近くまだ行って、泳ぐのは3mくらいだったのでシュノーケルは必要なかったです。
ツアーの人数は計6名だったので、マスクの着用は個々に任せるとのことでしたコロナの心配は特にありませんでした。駐車場から海まで10〜15分くらい歩くため、帰りは坂道を上りで少し大変でしたが景色が綺麗だったので楽しみながら登ってこれました◎
鍾乳洞は神秘的な空間で楽しめました！宮古島に来た時は一度は行くと良い思い出になると思います。

■ Sea Turtle Snorkeling Tour
The weather was unfortunately gloomy, but our guide found the best spots for us, and we were able to encounter four sea turtles even in the rain! We also saw not only sea turtles but also sea snakes and various tropical fish, including clownfish, which made for a very satisfying experience.

■ Pumpkin Cave Tour
We paddled from the sandy beach to the entrance of the cave. The entrance was incredibly narrow and seemed to be a sacred place for the locals, making it a very mystical location. Inside the cave, it was pitch dark, so we progressed with lights. There were plenty of activities like climbing with ropes and jumping in.

I was very satisfied with the many photos taken!

On the day I participated, it was a rainy day in February and a bit cold, but after the tour, they provided warm water to pour over our bodies, which showed great consideration!

I would love to participate again when I come back to Miyako Island! It became the best memory of my trip!

■海亀シュノーケリングツアー
生憎の天気でどんよりしていましたが、
ガイドのお兄さんがベストポジションを探して連れてってくれたので、雨の中でも海亀4匹に遭遇することが出来ました！
他にも海亀だけでなく、海蛇やカクレクマノミを始めとする熱帯魚を見ることができ、大満足でした。

■パンプキン鍾乳洞ツアー
砂浜からカヌーで漕いで、鍾乳洞の入り口まで向かいます。鍾乳洞入口がものすごく狭く、島の方々にとっても神聖な場所なようで、とても神秘化的な場所でした。
鍾乳洞の中では、真っ暗なのでライトで照らしながら進みます。ロープで登ったり、飛び込んだりアクティビティが盛り沢山でした。

写真もたくさん撮影していただいて満足です！！

参加した日は、2月の雨の日で少し寒かったのですが、ツアー終了後に、体にかけるあったかいお湯などもご準備していただいていたり、配慮がとてもよかったです！

また宮古島に来た時は参加したいです！
旅行の中での一番の思い出になりました〜！

Despite the rain and strong winds the day before, we had absolutely perfect weather on the day of the tour! According to our guide, it was "one of the best days in a long time." We met up with our guide at the meeting point, and she was a stunning beauty with a figure reminiscent of Moeko from "The Bachelorette," who was friendly and made the experience enjoyable throughout! We changed into wetsuits and walked to the beach, where we got into canoes and paddled to the entrance of the pumpkin cave. The guide carefully taught us how to paddle, and we were able to do so without any struggle. The pumpkin cave was beautiful, and we learned a lot about how caves are formed and the significance of this sacred place throughout the tour. We also had great timing for taking lots of photos, making it a wonderful memory for our honeymoon! Thank you very much!!

前日は雨が降り風が強かったにも関わらず、当日はこれ以上ない良い天気！ガイドのお姉さん曰く「最近ではめったにないくらい良い天気」とのこと。集合場所でガイドさんと合流しましたが、ガイドのお姉さんがバチェロレッテの萌子さん似のスタイル抜群美女で、気さくかつフレンドリーな方で終始楽しかったです！ウェットスーツに着替え歩いて海辺まで移動し、そこからカヌーに乗って鍾乳洞入口まで行きました。カヌーの漕ぎ方も丁寧に教えていただき、苦戦することなく漕ぐことができました。パンプキン鍾乳洞が綺麗なのはもちろん、鍾乳洞がどのようにして形成されるのか、神聖な場所である由来など、ツアーの随所で分かりやすく教えていただきとても勉強になりました！ナイスなタイミングで写真もたくさん撮ってもらい、素敵な新婚旅行の思い出になりました！ありがとうございました！！

My first time on Iriomote Island, I had a lot of things I wanted to try, so I chose a packed itinerary with mangrove canoeing, trekking to Pinai Sara Falls, and cave exploration. It was my first time canoeing, but following the guide's advice made it easy. As we paddled down the empty river, we saw mangrove forests on both sides, and a relaxed atmosphere enveloped us. After the canoeing, we set off on a trek towards Pinai Sara Falls. There were steep paths, but the guide stopped at intervals to explain the trees in the forest, making the walk enjoyable. It seems you can even enter the waterfall pool, but we were completely satisfied just seeing it. In the afternoon, we explored the caves, and as we slowly moved through surprisingly narrow spaces, we were greeted by various shapes of stalactites inside. My husband was completely captivated by the caves and expressed a desire to visit more of them (laughs). I found the canoeing to be more pleasant than I had imagined, so I would love to experience it again next time. Thank you for a wonderful time.

初めての西表島、やってみたいことがいろいろあってマングローブカヌー、ピナイサーラの滝トレッキング、洞窟探検という欲張りコースにしました。カヌーは初めてでしたがガイドさんのアドバイスどおりに漕ぐとスイスイと。誰もいない川をカヌーで進んでいくと左右にマングローブの森が見えゆったりとした時間が流れます。カヌーを降りて今度はピナイサーラの滝を目指してトレッキング。急な道もありますが、ガイドさんが適度に止まって森の樹木などの説明をしてくれるので、楽しんで歩く事ができました。滝つぼに入ることも出来るようですが、私たちは見るだけで大満足でした。午後からは洞窟探検、びっくりするような狭い場所からソロソロ進むと中は鍾乳石がいろいろな形を見せてくれます。主人はすっかり鍾乳洞に見せられて、あちこちの鍾乳洞巡りをしたいと言いだしました(笑)私はカヌーが想像以上に気持ち良かったので、次回もカヌー体験したいです。素晴らしい時間をありがとうございました。

I had the opportunity to experience a mangrove jungle tour by SUP and canyoning. Thanks to the well-organized start, I enjoyed a private tour that allowed me to quietly savor nature. Our guide, Tacky, provided a bright and detailed introduction to the tour on Iriomote Island, which I was visiting for the first time. All of his stories were interesting. Thank you!

I visited Iriomote Island, where I got my scuba diving license during my student days, for the first time in 30 years, this time with my child.

We traveled from Kohama Island, and although the weather can be unstable in winter with the possibility of ferry cancellations, we received thorough guidance about access from the remote island in advance, which made us feel secure about participating.

Upon arrival at Uehara Port, we were welcomed and on the way to the shop for preparations, we saw the Higan Cherry Blossoms blooming, marking our first cherry blossom viewing of the year. From the moment we got in the car, the guide shared fascinating insights about the nature and history of Iriomote Island, and we quickly found ourselves immersed in an extraordinary world.

As we leisurely paddled through the mangrove forest in a canoe, I could feel my mind relaxing more and more. With this relaxation, my senses, which had been dulled by the busyness of everyday life, gradually opened up, and I became highly sensitive to everything around me—the natural sounds, the scents wafting from the mangrove forest and various plants, absorbing everything and feeling rejuvenated.

While trekking towards the waterfall after getting off the canoe, we encountered a heavy rain shower reminiscent of a tropical downpour, but it was a beautiful rain that didn’t feel uncomfortable. It truly felt like the charm and essence of nature. Remarkably, when we reached the waterfall, the rain stopped, and we enjoyed a warm meal prepared by our guide. We experienced the almost private atmosphere of Pinaisara, soaking in the vigorous, silk-like spray of water enriched with negative ions, which had increased due to the rain, from 55 meters upstream!

What made me very happy was that the guide took many great photos with a camera and generously gifted us the data for free.

学生の頃にスキューバのライセンスを取りに訪れた西表島に、30年ぶりに、今度は親子でお邪魔しました。
小浜島からの移動でしたが、冬場は天候が不安定で船の欠航の可能性もありましたが、事前に離島からのアクセスについても丁寧にご案内をいただき、安心して参加出来ました。
上原港でお迎えしてもらい、準備のためにショップに向かう道中でヒガンザクラが咲いていて、今年の最速お花見。車に乗った瞬間からガイドさんからの西表島の自然や歴史にちなんだ数々のインプットがとても興味深く、面白くて、あっいう間に非日常の世界に飛び込みました。
マングローブの林の中を、ゆったりとカヌーで進んでいると、自分の心もどんどんゆったりしてくるのがわかりました。ゆったりしてくると、ふだんの忙しい日常の中で塞がっていた五感も、ゆっくりと開放されて来て、目に触れるもの、耳に響いてくる自然の息吹、マングローブの林や様々な植物から漂う香りにすごく敏感になって、色々なものを吸収して癒されていきました。
カヌーを降りてトレッキングで滝壺を目指す間、南国のスコールのような豪雨になりましたが、キレイな雨で不快感もなく、また、これぞ自然の魅力・醍醐味という感じでした。なんと滝壺に到着すると雨も上がり、ガイドさんが準備してくれた温かい食事をいただき、ほぼ貸し切りピナイサーラ状態で、55メートル上流から繰り出される、スコールで水量を増した威勢の良い、マイナスイオンたっぷりの絹のような水しぶきを親子で全身に浴びて参りました！
とても嬉しかったのは、ガイドさんがカメラでスゴク良い写真をたくさん撮ってくださって、それをデータで無料でプレゼントしてくれたことです

I have visited Miyako Island several times before, and I had been curious about the Pumpkin Cave. So, after four years, I searched for a tour for this visit. I also wanted to see sea turtles even in the off-season, so I signed up for this tour. We started with snorkeling at Shinjo Beach to meet the sea turtles. After a thorough snorkeling lesson, we set off. After swimming a bit, we quickly spotted a sea turtle! The sea turtle didn't seem to care about us humans and was enjoying its meal, occasionally taking breaks to breathe. Although the snorkeling lasted less than an hour, we were able to see a total of five sea turtles, clownfish, and many other tropical fish, including a fish known as "ojisan." After that, we moved to another location and arrived at the cave by canoe in about ten minutes. As soon as we entered, we encountered the Pumpkin. Our guide took pictures for us, and the exploration began. Inside the cave, it was surprisingly warm and spacious, creating a mystical atmosphere. Listening to the guide's explanations was truly moving. Since there were only the two of us participating, we were able to take many pictures and had a very enjoyable time.

今までも何回かお邪魔していた宮古島。以前からパンプキン鍾乳洞は気になっていたので、4年ぶりに来島した今回、ツアーを検索。合わせてシーズンオフでもやっぱりウミガメが見たい！と思い、こちらのツアーに申し込みました。最初にウミガメに会いに新城海岸でシュノーケリングです。丁寧なシュノーケリング講習を受けた後、出発。少し泳いで、早速ウミガメ発見！ウミガメは人間のことなんて気にせず、時々息継ぎタイムを挟みながら食事を楽しんでいました。1時間足らずのシュノーケリングでしたが、合計5匹のウミガメとクマノミなどの熱帯魚、「おじさん」と呼ばれている魚などたくさん見ることができました。その後、場所を移動してカヌーで鍾乳洞へ、10分程度で到着。入って直ぐにパンプキンとご対面できました。ガイドさんに写真を撮ってもらい探検が始まります。鍾乳洞の中は意外に？暖かくて広く神秘的な空間が広がっていました。ガイドさんの説明を聞き感動もひとしおでした。参加者は私達2人だけだったので、写真も沢山撮っていただき、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

My first time at the limestone caves in Miyako Island! I never expected that we would have to paddle a canoe to the entrance by ourselves, which was different from any limestone cave I had seen before. Since we were in our mid-50s, we felt a bit scared, but we had a lot of fun paddling the canoe.

Once we entered the cave, it was very mystical and wonderful. The tour guide was very kind, providing detailed explanations and offering assistance when we needed to climb up. I think this is a unique experience that you can't find just anywhere, so if you visit Miyako Island, I definitely recommend going to the Pumpkin Cave.

初めての宮古島での鍾乳洞！今まで見てきた鍾乳洞とは違って
まさかの入り口まで自力でカヌーを漕いでいくとは思ってもいませんでした。私たちは50台半ばでしたので、すこし怖さもあったのですが、とても楽しくカヌーを漕ぐことができました。
いざ鍾乳洞の中へ、とても神秘的で素晴らしかったです。ツアーの方も丁寧に説明をしてくれたり、上の方に登る時にはしっかりと手助けをしてくれたりととても親切にしてくださりました。中々体験できる鍾乳洞ではないとおもうので、宮古島に行った際には是非パンプキン鍾乳洞には行った方がいいと思います。

I was anxious about whether I would be okay since I can't swim, but the female staff always kept a smile on her face, encouraged us when we expressed our doubts, and guided us well. The canoe ride to the pumpkin hall was tough; no matter how hard we paddled, we didn't seem to make much progress, and I felt like giving up. Upon arriving at the pumpkin hall, we entered through a narrow entrance, climbed up, and on the way back, we jumped down, which was thrilling. Inside the cave, we were shown waterfalls where people in their 80s from Utah perform rituals, power spots, and pool-like areas. We even got to taste the fresh water falling from above. Since we were the only ones there, they turned off the lights to make it completely dark, allowing us to experience how sacred the place is. The sense of accomplishment from visiting places we couldn't go to individually and having these experiences was incredible. The sight of the female staff pulling the canoe with her slender arms was also impressive. There were no showers, but they provided us with bottled water, so I didn't feel any particular inconvenience. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

　老体に鞭打ち、泳げないのに大丈夫か不安でしたが、女性スタッフさんが、いつも笑顔を絶やさず、弱音を吐く私達を激励して、上手く誘導してもらいました。行きのカヌーは、漕いでも漕いでもなかなか進まずで、心が折れそうでした。パンプキンホールに到着して、狭い入り口から
入り、登ったり、帰りは、ジャンプして降りたりとスリル満点です。洞窟内は、80代のユタの方が神事をされる滝やら、パワースポットや、プールの様な所を案内して頂いたり、また、上から落ちる真水を舐めさせてもらったり、私達しかいなかったので、ライトを消して真っ暗にしてもらったりと、とても神聖な場所なんだと体験させてもらいました。個人では行けない場所や、体験させてもらって、達成感もは半端ないです。女性スタッフさんが、細腕でカヌーを引っ張って行く姿もカッコ良かったです。シャワーないですが、ペットボトルの水を持って来てもらっていたし、特に不便は感じ無かったです。良い思い出を有難うございました。

Canoeing was my first experience, and it was so much fun that I think I'm hooked. The waterfall was very refreshing; even though it was January, it was warm, and there were people swimming in the pool beneath the falls. One person dropped their smartphone into the pool, but the instructor was able to retrieve it. Since it was waterproof, it wasn't damaged and was safe. The lunch was also very filling. Riding in a cow cart was a first for me as well, and I really enjoyed it; I'm glad I went. Next, I want to visit the Phantom Island.
