漕ぐだけでも大変な中、
ある1人の船頭さんの巧妙な話術に船中から笑いが絶えず、あっという間の2時間の川下り、最高でした！

I ordered the cake set just before closing and hurriedly ate it, so next time I want to enjoy the cake set slowly and take my time to enjoy the view. The cake set was delicious!

閉館ギリギリだったので急いでケーキセットを注文して慌てて食べたので、次回はゆっくりケーキセットを味わって、ゆっくり展望したいです。ケーキセット美味しかったです！

The autumn leaves are still a little while away. There are some areas that are starting to change color. Therefore, it wasn't crowded. The stories from the boatmen were enjoyable. It seems the water level was a bit low, so we were on the boat for about an hour and 45 minutes. However, we did get splashed a little. When the boatman signals, everyone on the left and right should definitely lift their seats. I get seasick on the ocean, but not on the river. (^.^) Next time, I would like to visit during the peak season for the autumn leaves.

なので、混雑していませんでした。
船頭さん方のお話楽しかったです。
水量が少なめだったらしく１時間４５分位乗船してました。
でも、少し水かかりました。左右の人は船頭さんの合図がかかったら必ずシート上げてね。
海では船酔いをしますが、川はしないですね。(^.^)

I prepared a waterproof case to take photos, but it wasn't dangerous enough to risk submersion.

天気に恵まれて、とてもいい天気の日に参加することができました！
ダウンコートを着ていたため、寒さは感じませんでした。
写真を撮りたいため、防水ケースを用意しましたが、水没しそうなほど危険はありませんでした。
タイミングが合えば、トロッコと紅葉の景色を写真に撮ることができます！

I was recommended by a friend to definitely experience the Hozu River Boat Ride if I came to Kyoto during this season, so I made a reservation. My reservation was for 11:00, but when I arrived at the boarding area at 9:45, I received number 42 and was called right away, so I was on the boat by 10:00! I think there were more than 20 people on each boat. The boatman kept us entertained with humorous stories throughout the approximately two-hour ride, and we were laughing the whole time. It was the beginning of the autumn leaves, and the contrast of the green and yellow leaves below with the red leaves above was very beautiful. One highlight was when the boatman walked along the edge of the boat to switch places, and it was just perfect timing when the vendor boat came alongside selling beer and sweet sake. Moreover, I was sitting towards the back, and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to hear the boatman’s stories, but the boatman at the back also provided explanations, which made me very happy. When disembarking, he took my hand to help me down, and I was impressed, thinking, “This is what ‘going above and beyond’ means!” The Hozu River Boat Ride smoothly guided tourists, delighted them, moved them, and left them satisfied. 友人からこの時期に京都に来るなら絶対に保津川下りを体験して！と勧められて予約しました。11時の予約でしたが9時45分に乗船場に着いたら、42番と言う番号を貰ってすぐに呼んでいただいて10時に船に乗っていた！と思います。一艘に20人以上は乗っていたと思います。船頭さんはおよそ２時間の川下りの間、お客様を飽きさせないように漫談のようなお喋りをして下さってずっと笑いっぱなしでした。紅葉の初めだったのですが、もみじの下が緑、黄色、上だけ紅に紅葉しているコントラストがとても綺麗でした。途中で船頭さんが船のヘリを歩いて交替するのも見どころですし、売店船が並走してビールや甘酒を売ってくれるのも丁度頃合いが良かったです。そして、何よりも私は後ろの方の座席だったのですが、お喋りする船頭さんのお話しが聞き取りにくいんじゃないかと心配していたら、後ろの船頭さんも説明をしてくださってとても嬉しかったです。下船の際には中高年の私の手を取って下ろして下さって、「至れり尽くせり！」とはこの事だわ〜‍♀️と関心しました。観光客をスムーズに案内し、喜ばせ、感動させ、満足させてくれる保津川下りでした。有難うございました。

I go down the Hozu River every year, and it's still so much fun! This time, the water level was high, so we arrived at Arashiyama quickly. While getting lightly splashed and listening to the boatman's interesting stories, we arrived in no time! After the Hozu River ride, we enjoyed some food walking around Arashiyama. ♬

紅葉がもっとあって、水量が多かったらさらに最高でした。最初はさまざまなトークで盛り上がりましたが、後半は少し口数が少なかったです。あと、最後はお礼を言いたかったのですが、流れで船を降りてしまい残念でした。降りる前に閉めてもらいたかったです。気候も暖かくとても気持ちよかったです。ありがとうございました。

The weather on the day was cloudy, so it was disappointing not to see the expected view of Mount Fuji, but the scenery from the Tokyo Skytree was breathtaking, and the changes in the sky unique to cloudy weather were also a highlight, so I accepted that. I was healed by the humorous appearance of the garden eels at the Sumida Aquarium.

当日の天気は、曇りだったので期待した富士山が、見られなかったのは、残念だったけど、スカイツリーからの景色は、圧巻で曇りならではの空の変化も見所？だったのでよしとしました。
すみだ水族館のチンアナゴのユーモラスな姿に癒されました。

I was lucky to be able to make a reservation through Veltra for an early autumn leaf viewing on the Hozu River, as there were no direct reservations available. If I had gone directly, I would have had to wait 1 hour and 50 minutes on a weekday. I arrived earlier than my reserved time, but the check-in process was smooth, and after using the restroom, I was guided right away to depart.

The boatman was youthful and shared enjoyable stories, making the experience even more delightful as we admired the mountains and various rock formations. It was a peaceful experience where I could really feel the nature around me. I would love to go on the boat again.

少し早い紅葉狩りに保津川下り直接の予約はなく、ベルトラさんで予約可能だったのでラッキーでした。
直接だと平日でしたが1時間50分待ちの案内が出てました。予約時間よりも早く着いたのですが受付もスムーズでトイレだけ済ませたらすぐに案内され出発できました。
遠い記憶で乗船した時よりも、船頭さんも若々しく楽しいお話し案内してくださり、山々やいろんな岩の形状を楽しく観賞出来来ました。
穏やかで自然をたくさん感じられました。
また、乗船したいと思います。

The water level was low and the autumn leaves were still to come. However, I had a great time with the boatman, so I'm glad I was able to take this trip. This was my second experience, but this time I was able to enjoy the scenery and sounds at a leisurely pace. I felt like I wanted to visit again to see the different seasons and their unique charm.

水量も少なく紅葉もこれからでした。でも船頭さんと楽しい時間が長くもてたので、今回乗船できて良かったと思います。
私は２回目の体験でしたが、今回はゆとりを持って景色や音を楽しめました。
また違う季節と風情を見に行きたいと感じました。

The food to give to the bears included 100 yen cookies and 200 yen apples. It was interesting to see that the poses they made to beg for food varied by individual.

However, if you imagine wild bears, you might feel a bit disappointed. Still, I was overwhelmed by the massive size of the bears seen up close from the human enclosure.

The park isn't very large, so you can get around in about 30 minutes if you're quick. The entrance fee isn't high, so I thought it was a facility you could easily stop by.

クマにあげるエサは、100円のクッキーと200円のりんごがあった。
エサをねだるポーズは個体によって異なっていて面白かった。

しかし、野生に生息するクマを想像して行くと、少しがっかりするかもしれない。
ただ、人の檻から間近で見たクマの巨体には圧倒されました。

園内はあまり広くないので、さっと回るなら30分ほどで済む。
入園料も高くないので、気軽に立ち寄れる施設だと思った。

I went on a Sunday afternoon. Despite the cloudy weather, there were a lot of people. The line to buy tickets for the Tokyo Skytree was huge, but since a QR code was issued, I was able to enter immediately without waiting. If I had gone under normal circumstances, I think I would have given up. Even when I got to the top, there were still a lot of people. I thought that if the weather had been better, the view would have been even more beautiful.

日曜日のお昼に行きました。
曇ってるのにも関わらずすご〜い人でした。
スカイツリー上がるチケットを買う列もすごくてQRコードが
発行されてたので並ぶ事なくすぐに入れました。
普通行ってたらくじけて諦めてたと思います。
上に上がっても凄い人でした。
お天気がよければもっとキレイに見えたんだろうなと
思いました。

First of all, they provided a thorough safety briefing! The staff members boarded the boat in groups, making the preparations very smooth! When it was time to enter the sea, the staff supported us both on the boat and in the water. The whale sharks swim around multiple times, so you can observe them closely! Feeding the fish was fun because you get to interact with the large fish!

スタッフの方が複数人で乗船して下さり、凄くスムーズに準備できました！
いざ、海へ入る時も船の上と海の中でスタッフさんがサポートして下さりました。
ジンベイザメは何周もしてくれるので、じっくり見れます！
魚への餌やりは、大きな魚と触れ合えるので楽しかったです！

The boarding process was smooth. The ship was headed to Nagasaki Port, and we got off at Kamigoto, so we disembarked midway. I almost missed my stop and had to hurry to get off. If you're not careful, it arrives quietly and departs in no time, so those disembarking midway should be cautious! It was that quiet and comfortable of a journey.

乗船までスムーズでした。船は長崎港へ向かうもので私たちは上五島で降りたので途中下船だったのですが、うっかり降り損いそうになり慌てて降りました。自分で気をつけていないと静かに到着してあっという間に出ようとするので途中下船の人は要注意！それくらい静かで快適な移動でした。

Despite the weekend being busy with many customers, the service at the counter was good, and the ticket collection was smooth. I was able to use the service without any problems!

However, the ferry I used was quite crowded due to many group customers, such as sports teams on an expedition. It was noisy for the entire three hours until arrival. I felt that the groups should manage the children better, as parents were engrossed in conversation while their kids were running around the ferry.

週末で利用客も多い中、窓口での対応も良く、切符の受け取りもスムーズでした。
なんの問題もなく利用出来ました！

ただ、利用した船の船内には週末ということもあり、遠征するスポーツチーム等の団体客が多く、混雑していました。
到着するまでの3時間、ずっとざわざわしていました。
団体は、親と子でまとまって、きちんと子供達の管理をして欲しいと少し感じました。
親は親同士の会話に夢中で子供達が船内を走りまわったりしているのが目につきました。

The boat ride was enjoyable, but two of the three boatmen kept asking for money repeatedly. Of course, I understood it was a joke, but after hearing it so many times, it became quite tiresome. Even knowing it was a joke, it left a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste.

船は楽しかったのですが、船頭さん３名の内お二人が何度もお金を下さいって言っていました。勿論冗談だとは解っているのですが、一どならずも、何度も繰り返し言われて仕舞うといい加減うんざりして仕舞います。冗談と解っていても何か後味の悪い気持ちでした。

Eight years ago, I had a wonderful experience on the Hozu River boat ride, so I decided to include it in this day trip. I remembered it being very cold around this time last time, so I dressed warmly, but the weather was clear and the river was calm, making it quite pleasant—almost hot, in fact! Three boatmen took turns rowing while sharing interesting stories and performances, keeping us entertained for two hours without getting bored. At this time of year, there were just a few hints of autumn leaves, and the clarity of the water along with the greenery and blue sky was incredibly refreshing. I thought I would love to come back during the autumn foliage season or cherry blossom season as well.

8年前に保津川下りした際にとても楽しかった記憶で、今回日帰り弾丸ツアーに組み込んでみました。前回も今ぐらいの時期でとても寒かった記憶なので防寒していきましたが、天気も快晴で、川の流れも穏やかで、とても心地よく、むしろ暑いぐらいでした！3人の船頭さんが交代で立ち位置変えて漕いでくれるのですが、各々に面白い喋りやパフォーマンスを交えてくれ、二時間飽きずに楽しめます。この時期はまだ紅葉がほんの少しだけ彩っている感じで、水の透明度と緑と青空が最高にリフレッシュ出来ましたが、紅葉の時期も桜の時期もまた来たいなと思いました。

I used this service to travel from the port near the center of Nagasaki City to Fukue Island in the Goto Islands. Although it is more expensive than the large ferry, there was hardly any rocking, and most importantly, we arrived quickly, making it a very comfortable journey. Additionally, I was able to purchase tickets at a lower price than directly from the ferry company, so I think this aspect is also worth recommending. I hope those who are planning to go will definitely consider using this service.

長崎市内の中心部にほど近い港から五島列島の福江島にわたる手段として利用をさせてもらいました。
金額的には大型フェリーより高くなりますが、ほとんど揺れもなく、何よりも早く到着できるし、大変に快適な船旅でした。
また、料金的にも船会社で直接購入するよりも安価で切符を購入できたので、この点もお奨めだと思います。
是非、これから行かれる方にも利用して頂ければと思います。

I was glad to purchase the ferry at a reasonable price. The weather was nice, and the sea was beautiful; it was the best. I want to go to Goto again! Upper Goto has a rich Christian history that moved me.

The autumn foliage on the Hozu River was still early, but the trip lasted nearly two hours, and I really enjoyed immersing myself in nature. The water was clear enough to see the riverbed. There were both gentle and rapid sections of the river, with some areas where splashes of water would hit you. It’s advisable to use the seat next to the boat to prevent getting wet.

There were various rocks along the way, and I spent a relaxing time with the fun guidance of the boatman while watching the tram and JR trains. The boats were crowded, and it was a bit disappointing that it was unclear which boat to board, as they only announced the numbers. Towards the end, I felt sorry that there wasn’t enough time to enjoy the food I bought at the onboard shop. The weather changed midway, and it started to rain, so rain gear is necessary.

保津川下り紅葉にはまだ早かったですが、所要時間も2時間近くあり、自然を満喫できて楽しかったです。
川底が見えるぐらい、水もキレイでした。
川の流れが緩やかな所や激しい所もあり、水しぶきがかかる所もありました。舟の横にあるシートは利用した方が水濡れが防げます。
色々な岩があり、トロッコ列車やＪR列車を見ながら船頭さんの楽しいガイドで癒しの時間を過ごせました。
舟は密で、何艘かあるどの舟に乗るのか？番号をアナウンスされただけで、分かりにくく残念でした。
終わりの方に船上売店で買った食べ物をゆっくり食べる時間がなく、気の毒に感じました。途中で天気が変わり、雨が降って来たので雨具は必要です。

I really enjoyed my first river rafting experience. The distance was long, which made it very satisfying. I was really glad that the weather was nice. It seems like it would be tough in the cold season. I think having a large shawl would be good to drape over your shoulders or lap. The seating was quite close together, so it felt a bit cramped. Since there were several children with us, the boatman engaged them in conversation to keep them entertained, which was nice. In the latter half, some kids looked sleepy, and with the long distance, they might get bored.

The boatman was humorous and fun, but I would also like to hear explanations in a more calm atmosphere, not just focused on the kids. Next time, it would be great to experience it with more water flow for an even more thrilling experience.

初めての川下り、とても楽しめました。距離が長いので満足度が高いです。お天気に恵まれて本当に良かった。寒い季節は辛そうです。大判のストールがあれば肩に掛けたり、膝に掛かれるので良いかと思います。席はかなり密着するので窮屈に感じました。子供さんが数名一緒だったので、船頭さんが子供さん達を退屈させないように話を振ったり好感が持てました。後半は眠そうな子もいたようで、距離が長いので退屈するかも。
船頭さんはユーモアがあり楽しかったけど、子供メインではなく落ち着いた雰囲気での説明も聞いてみたいです。
今度はもっと水量の多い時で迫力も体感できたら最高かな。

This was my first time participating. It was close to Kameoka Station, and thanks to my reservation here, the check-in process was smooth. During the waiting time, I went to the restroom and looked at celebrity autographs, and before I knew it, the broadcast started, and we boarded the boat. I heard that the water level in the river was low that day, so they worked hard to paddle. Three boatmen took turns providing humorous explanations, which kept it enjoyable and engaging. Along the way, we encountered turtles, birds, and even some rare hawks or kites. In sections where the rapids occurred, they gave us a heads-up, which added to the fun. It was a two-hour experience in pleasant weather, allowing us to feel connected to nature. Thank you very much.

亀岡駅からも近く、こちらで予約したおかげでスムーズに受付完了。それからの待ち時間もトイレ入ったり芸能人のサインを見たりしてたらあっという間に放送がかかり船に乗り込みました。この日は川の水量が少ない日だそうで、頑張って漕いでくださいました。3人の船頭さんが代わる代わるユーモアたっぷりでいろいろ説明をしてくれて飽きずに楽しめました。途中、亀や鳥たち、珍しいタカかトンビの仲間にも遭遇出来ました。時折　急流になる箇所では予告してくれて楽しめました。
気候も良く自然を感じながら過ごせた2時間でした。ありがとうございました。

I showed my voucher at the ticket counter on the first floor and received my boarding pass. When the announcement was made, boarding was from the first floor. It was smooth without any confusion. The movement was comfortable with hardly any turbulence.

１階の窓口でバウチャーを見せて発券をしてもらい、アナウンスがあったら

Since we were returning on a sightseeing bus and didn't have much time to spare, I was worried. So when we arrived on the island in the morning, I went to the counter to have them help me find it.

観光バスに乗っての帰りだったので、時間にあまり余裕がなく心配だったので、朝便で島に着いた時に窓口に行き発見してもらいました。

I live in Kyoto, but I had never toured the sightseeing spots, so I used this service at the beginning of October! It was sunny and almost hot! Since you go down with the wind, I think you'll need warm clothing and a hand warmer as it gets colder. Before departing, I bought a hot dog at the shop inside the building, and it was filling and delicious. You should definitely get one!

The staff's talk was also entertaining, making the one hour and fifty minutes incredibly fun! I want to use this service again in the spring.

京都在住ですが、観光地巡りしたことがなかったので10月初めに利用しました！
日差しもあって暑いくらいでした！
風をきって下るので、これからどんどん寒くなったら防寒着や懐炉が必要だと思います。
出発前に、建物内にある売店がありホットドッグを買いましたがボリュームがあって美味しかったです
絶対買うべきです！

スタッフの方のトークも面白いので１時間50分最高に楽しかったです！

They quickly provided the boarding pass on the smartphone voucher screen, which was smooth. The woman at the reception was experienced, so there was no confusion, which was great. I would like to use it again.
