I took the last ferry from Narao Port at 17:45. There was no rocking, and I was able to doze off comfortably.

I took a ferry from Nagasaki to Fukue. It takes some time, but it's cheap. I arrived around noon, which was just the right time to have lunch on-site. There wasn't much rocking, and since I was just lounging around on the carpeted room, I didn't mind it at all. I thought I could only buy tickets at the regular price, but I was lucky to find them a little cheaper on this site.

長崎から福江へフェリーで行きました。
時間はかかるけど安いということで。
お昼頃に着き、現地でランチを食べるにはちょうどいい時間の船でした。
揺れもそれほどなく、カーペットのお部屋でゴロゴロ寝てるだけなので全く気になりませんでした。
定価でしかチケットは買えないものと思っていたら、こちらのサイトでちょびっとお安く買えてラッキーでした。

It was wonderful, truly wonderful. As expected from Nihon Shin-san Daiyakei, there were many people, but it was very beautiful and a great experience.

Despite the rain and cold, I was told to wait in an exposed area. I was disappointed that there weren't many fish. In the past, when I did this elsewhere, a lot of fish came when I scattered bait, and there were even sea turtles, so this time was a letdown.

雨が降って寒かったのにも関わらず、吹きさらしのところで待機するよう言われた。
魚が大したのがいなくてがっかりだった。
以前やった他で時は、餌を撒いたのかたくさん魚が寄ってきて海亀もいたので、今回は残念でした。

A mother-daughter trip to Okinawa for the first time.

Initially, my husband was supposed to join us, but he had to cancel due to work commitments.

I lack confidence in driving, so I decided to cancel the rental car I had booked and opted for a charter taxi through VELTRA for our transportation in Okinawa.

The driver who took us around for two days was truly kind and friendly, making us feel at ease and taking us to all the places we wanted to visit.

While charter taxis are more expensive than rental cars, when I thought about driving in an unfamiliar city...

I realized I would be too anxious to enjoy myself, and I wouldn't know how to manage the time for our travels. Plus, if an accident were to happen, it could ruin our trip, so I prioritized safety and peace of mind to fully enjoy our journey.

As a result, we had a wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable three-day, two-night trip without any worries.

I truly feel it was the right decision to go with this option!

母娘、はじめての沖縄2人旅。

当初は夫も行く予定でしたが

本当にゆったりと楽しく
何の心配もなく楽しい2泊3日の
旅が出来ました。

I was worried about seasickness, but it was fine. Since it was a large ship, there was little rocking. I was able to head to the observation point on the deck, and the waves and breeze felt great. The coral reefs and fish were very beautiful.

Before boarding the ship, I was able to see dolphins being cared for and fish from the pier. We also got to see various creatures like sea turtles, land turtles, and animals in the shallow waters, which made both kids and adults very satisfied. If time had allowed, I would have liked to take a slower look around.

The staff were also kind. I would like to use this service again!

船酔い心配でしたが、大丈夫でした。大きな船なので揺れは少なかったです。甲板で観察ポイントまで向かえたので波風が気持ちよかったです。珊瑚礁も魚もとても綺麗でした。
船に乗るまでにイルカの飼育や桟橋から魚も見れました。
他にもウミガメやリクガメ、浅瀬の生き物など色々見る事ができ子供も大人も大満足でした。時間が許せばもっとゆっくり見て回りたかったです。
スタッフの方も親切でした。また利用したいです！

The submarine experience was amazing! It takes about 10 minutes to reach the diving point, so I enjoyed the nice breeze on the deck while taking in the scenery. Once we arrived at the point, we moved below deck and were able to see fish and coral up close through the windows, which was a fantastic experience. The seawater was clear and beautiful. There were also many others having various experiences, and if I come again, I would love to use this service again.

潜水艦最高でした！
潜水ポイントまで10分位あるのでデッキで気持ちいい風に吹かれながら景色を眺めて、ポイントに到着したら地下に移動して窓から魚やサンゴを間近で見ることができてとてもいい体験をさせてもらいました。海水が透き通っていてキレイでした。
他にも色んな体験をしてる人がいて、次来ることがあればまた利用したいです。

The distance was just right, and the car was comfortable to spend time in. At the Churaumi Aquarium, they guided us to the entrance and even took photos for us. On Kouri Island, they accompanied us to Heart Rock and pointed out spots we wouldn't have noticed on our own!

We had almost no plan, but they made various suggestions, and we were very satisfied! They even gave us souvenirs on the way back, making it a wonderful trip. We would definitely like to request their services again.

美ら海水族館では入り口まで案内してくださり、写真まで撮ってくださいました。
古宇利島では、ハートロックまで一緒についてきてくださり、私たちだけでは気がつかないスポットも教えてくださいました！

ほぼノープランの私たちでしたが、いろいろ提案してくださったりとても満足です！！
帰り際お土産もくださり、とても素敵な旅になりました。

I also used the jet foil on the way back. Since it's a high-speed mode of transport, there are no waves to disturb you. I took a nap and arrived at Nagasaki Port in about an hour and a half. I think the price is high, but for sightseeing with limited time, I recommend the jet foil over the ferry.

帰りもジェットフォイルを利用しました。高速移動なので、波の揺れもありません。昼寝をしていると1時間半ほどで長崎港へ到着。お値段は高いと思いますが、時間の限られる観光では、フェリーよりもジェットフォイルがおすすめです。

The seats are reserved. I was on the second floor, but I didn't feel any swaying, so even as someone who gets seasick, I was able to enjoy my time without any issues. There was a television on board, and they were broadcasting a baseball game. Wifi is also available.

座席は、指定です。2階でしたが、揺れも感じず、船酔いする私でも問題なく過ごせました。船内には、テレビが備え付けてあり、野球の放送が流れていました。Wifiも使えます。

I'm grateful that it's a bit cheaper. Although I needed to exchange it on the day, the process went smoothly without any issues. There was no need to buy it too early; the day I traveled, it was quite empty. Rather, in March, it's important to be cautious of cancellations due to strong winds and other factors.

若干安くなるのでありがたいです。当日引き換えに行く必要がありますが、特に問題なくスムーズに交換できました。それほど早く買わなくても、私が乗った日はガラガラでした。むしろ3月は強風などで、欠航がある方が要注意です。

I'm always on the go, but I thought a leisurely ferry trip might be nice for a change.
My destination was Fukue Castle!
The stone walls were impressive, and although I couldn't go inside (it's a school), I was very satisfied.
Talking about the castle with the lady at the tourist information center was also a fun memory.

いつも慌ただしく移動してますが、気ままなフェリーの船旅もたまには良いかなと思いました。
目的地は福江城！
石垣がかっこ良く中には入れなかったけど(学校なので)大満足でした。
観光案内所のおねーさんとの城談義も楽しい思い出です。

Every space was wonderful. I wanted to go around multiple times, but due to time constraints, I could only do one round. I want to go again.

The Tokyo Skytree was great because the weather was nice, and I could see Mount Fuji. The Sumida Aquarium was a bit lacking, but I still enjoyed it.

スカイツリーは天気がよかったので富士山も見えてとてもよかったです。すみだ水族館はちょっと物足りなさがありましたが楽しめました。

It's very helpful to have an easy purchase that only requires showing it at the ticket counter. I will use it again next time. My only concern is whether the boat will depart.

チケット売り場に見せるだけ簡単購入で助かります。今度もまた利用します。ただ船が出るかだけが心配かなと思います

It was a girls' trip with an 85-year-old, a 75-year-old, a 58-year-old, and a 32-year-old. It was great that we could take our time and not feel rushed. The driver was also a calm person, which made for a pleasant experience.

When it comes to night views, many people might think of Hakodate. Indeed, the night view of Hakodate is magnificent. However, the night view from Mount Moiwa in Sapporo is also stunning. It may sound presumptuous to give advice, but since there are many couples, those who are single might feel a bit out of place.

夜景といえば函館を思い浮かべる方も多いと思われます。実際に函館の夜景は素晴らしいものです。しかし、札幌の夜景、つまりは藻岩山から見下ろす夜景というものもまた素晴らしいものです。助言という言い方は烏滸がましいですが、カップルがやはり多いので独り身は少し肩身狭いでしょう。

It had been over thirty years since I last took the jet foil (the last time was from Takamatsu Port to Tempozan). It was fast, stable, and comfortable. I had reserved my ticket in advance through VELTRA, which offered a discount, and considering the distance, I think it was a good value.

It was my first time visiting the Goto Islands (Fukue Island), and it rained almost the entire time, but I was moved by the beauty of the sea and enjoyed visiting the world heritage churches. If I have the opportunity to visit the Goto Islands again, I would like to ride the jet foil once more.

三十何年ぶりか（前回は高松港～天保山）のジェットフォイルでした。早くて揺れなくて快適でした。料金は事前にVELTRAで予約していたので割引もあり、また距離を考えるとお値打ちだったのではないかと思います。
初めての五島列島（福江島）はほとんど雨でしたが、世界遺産の教会を観たり、海のきれいさに感動しました。また、五島列島に伺う機会があれば、ジェットフォイルに乗りたいと思います。

I decided to use Veltra to save a bit of money, even though the jet is expensive and the ferry takes a long time... Taking the jet was the right choice! It’s pricey, but when I woke up, I could see Fukue, and my excitement went up! With the ferry, even if you wake up, you're still out in the sea for a while.

ジェットは金額的に高いし、フェリーかな、でも時間かかるし…と悩みながら、少しでも安くなるベルトラを使うことにしました。
ジェットで正解です！高いけど目が覚めたら福江が見えてテンションあがりました！
フェリーだと目覚めてもまだまだ海の上なので。

It was beautiful. However, it was very cold. According to the owner of the ramen shop, the day I visited was considered warm for a winter day in Hokkaido, but it was still too cold. Despite it being a weekday night, it was crowded, so I thought it would require some preparation to go on a holiday.

綺麗だった。しかし、非常に寒かった。ラーメン屋の店主によれば、私が訪れた日は、北海道の冬にしては、暖かい日だったそうだが、それでも寒すぎた。平日の夜にも関わらず、混んでいたので休日に行くには覚悟が必要だと思った。

I was able to play around with various activities until the time was up, and I wasn't bored at all! Even on a cloudy day, the views were really beautiful! The kids enjoyed it too!

I experienced it on March 3rd. The weather was cloudy and sunny. We took a boat to the point, and when we arrived, the boat was about 1.2 meters deep, allowing us to see underwater. Although we didn't encounter any sea turtles, I was moved by the beautiful coral reefs and fish. I'm glad my daughters enjoyed it too. Thank you!

3月3日に体験しました。曇ったり晴れたりの天気でした。ポイントまで船で行きポイントに着くと船が1.2mだったかな?沈んで海の中を見ることができました。海ガメには遭遇しませんでしたが、綺麗な珊瑚礁や魚に会えて感動しました。娘たちも喜んでくれて良かったです。ありがとうございます！

I arrived just in time, but the service was excellent. I was able to see a lot more fish than I expected. Both the little ones and adults had a great time!

ギリギリに着いてしまいましたが、非常に対応がよかったです。
予想していたよりも魚もかなりたくさん見れました。小さい子も大人も楽しめました！

I have a fear of deep water and can't enter the ocean where I can't see or touch the bottom, so I thought I wouldn't be able to see underwater. However, I was very happy to be able to see it without getting wet! It was also great that my child could safely see it too!

海底恐怖症があり、足が付かない/見えない海に入る事ができない私は、ダイビングなど出来ないので、海の中を見る事は出来ないと思っていましたが、濡れずに見る事が出来てとても嬉しかったです！子供も安全に見る事が出来たので、とても良かったです！！

I took a flight to Fukue Island and returned by ferry. It was comfortable without any shaking, but four hours felt a bit long.

The weather was clear, and I was able to see many fish and beautiful coral reefs. The staff were kind, and I’m glad I participated.

Jetfoils are a good deal, but the discounted tickets from Veltra are more than 1,000 yen cheaper than the regular fare for second-class ferry tickets. I recommend it if you're okay with a lounging style and a three-hour one-way trip.

ジェットフォイルもお得ですが、ベルトラの割引チケットはフェリー２等で千円以上通常料金よりお得です。ごろ寝スタイル＆片道３時間での乗船OKでしたらお勧めします。

Cruising on a cute painted boat was a lot of fun. We relaxed while enjoying the view outside until we reached our destination, and once we arrived, we moved to explore underwater. The guide shared information about the fish swimming around, which made my child, who has recently become fascinated with fish, incredibly happy throughout the experience. I think people of all ages can enjoy this.

可愛いペイントが施された船に乗ってクルージングは楽しかったです。
目的地に行くまでは外の景色を眺めながらまったりとして目的地に着いたら場所を移動して海中を散策しました。
ガイドのお姉さんが泳いでる魚のことを教えてくださるので最近魚にハマってる我が子は終始楽しくて仕方がなかったようです。
老若男女楽しめると思います。

I had requested a few places in advance and asked to decide the rest on the day. The driver was polite and answered questions, engaging in small talk, but as others have mentioned, he wasn't particularly knowledgeable or took photos for us.

It felt more like a shuttle service than a sightseeing taxi, with a basic "We've arrived, please take your time" approach. However, when I expressed that I wanted to go to a specific place, he considered the order and we arrived at the airport almost on time.

That said, I had an amazing experience with a sightseeing taxi in Ishigaki Island a few days prior, so I felt a bit underwhelmed.

あらかじめ数か所希望をだして、後は当日決める内容でお願いしておりました。ドライバーさんは丁寧な方で質問には答えてくれますし雑談もしますが、他の方が書いておられるように、知識が豊富であったり、写真を撮ってくれるなどという事はなかったです。

基本「到着しました、ごゆっくりどうぞ」という感じで観光タクシーというよりは送迎タクシーといった感じでした。
それでも当日こちらが「ここへ行きたい」という旨を伝えたら順番考えていっていただき、空港にもほぼ時間通りでしたので。。。

ただ数日前に石垣島でお願いした観光タクシーさんが素晴らしかったので、少し物足りない気がしました。
