Wedding

Posted on: 2011/03/23

I arranged their limousine service for my friend's wedding in Hawaii this past weekend. The driver was on time (our group was late), and he was very friendly and accommodating. The H2 Hummer was super nice, and I wanted to keep on riding it. It fit our large party comfortably.

Thanks Platinum Limousine!

Fun Show

Posted on: 2011/01/11

This was a very entertaining night. We didn't get the dinner there as suggested by many previous customers, so I cannot tell you how terrible it was. But the show itself was pretty good. Of course, I wasn't expecting a grand magic show in Las Vegas, but this was still good for Hawaii. The opening act was ok, but when the magician came out on the stage, it was a non-stop action 'til the end. I felt bad for the Japanese gentleman who participated on the interaction with the magician, as a lot of jokes were based on non-English speaker. It seemed like he didn't mind standing in front of hundreds of other tourists to make the night fun, so I was glad that he was pretty courageous. Overall, it was pretty entertaining.

Great Horses!

Posted on: 2010/11/25

I had a great time at Hawaii Polo ride! I've been on a horse before at a different commercial ranch, so I wasn't expecting much. Usually the horses are pretty worn down, tired and boring. Oh boy, this wasn't the case at all. All the horses at Hawaii Polo Club are well trained professional polo horses, so they are young, strong, muscular and ready to trot. They are just gorgeous to look at!

Even the guide from Argentine was a professional polo player/trainer, so he knew all about the horses. (I didn't know that Argentine was the capital of polo!) He explained to us what to do and what not to do with the horse. I was a bit nervous first since the horse was a professional polo horse, and you know what they say about how the horse can feel your fear! But the guide made me feel relaxed, and I definitely enjoy the ride on the beautiful beach on North Shore.

This is highly recommended! Very romantic for couples for sure.

Very Funny

We did the combo on last Saturday. The show was pretty good, and we really enjoyed it. Out of all comedians we saw that night, we especially liked Uncle Bo! Make sure to catch his show in the Comedy Polynesia portion (1st show). The prices were reasonable, but the drinks were a bit expensive. I understand that that's how the hotel have to make money. Overall, we enjoyed the show, and I'll definitely recommend our friends to check it out.

Awesome!

This was a great way to experience the windward side of the island. We've never ridden on the Segway before, so we were a bit nervous at first, but they made us feel very comfortable on the Segway within 10min of practice. Our guide, Joe was very patient and great! He pointed out a lot of sights we would have missed if we were just driving around on our rental car. He also took a lot of pictures for us, so we didn't have to worry about taking pictures.

The tour time passed by so quickly, and at the end of the tour, we wanted to keep riding more! This was the best way to really see the sights and take in the beauty of Kailua. Highly recommended!

Quality Massage

Posted on: 2010/07/31

I got a deep tissue massage from Elite Massage Academy. The therapist was pretty friendly and was very good. The location was convenient for me since I was on the cruise ship, and the ship docked at the Aloha Tower. It helped me release the tension in my shoulder, and it was a lot cheaper than the ones on the ship (they rip you off on the cruise!)

Highly recommended!

Very Educational

Posted on: 2010/07/13

I went to Living Art Marine Center for my Hawaii vacation. Being a scuba diver, this place was very interesting and educational. I was able to see all kind of recreational fish that every aquarium enthusiast would love to have. It was great for me since I scheduled a scuba diving the following day. It was really easy for me to identify some of the wild fish I've already seen in the marine center.

The gyotaku T-shirt was pretty cool, too. I think this is a great place to take your kids as well. They'll learn great deal about our ocean, especially now that the oil spill is happening. We know so little about the ocean less than we know about the moon surface!

Awesome!!!

We had a BLAST! The whole day was filled with excitement. We tried, Bumper Tube, Banana Boat, Wakeboard and Parasail. Each ride was very unique, and we enjoyed them all. I recommend starting off the day with Banana Boat or Bumper Tube, then try other advanced water sports like Wakeboard or Jet Ski. We wanted to do the Jet Ski but they are not operating on weekends. Finishing off the day with Parasailing was great since we were able to take in some gorgeous view! We love them all. The staff were very friendly and nice. Five Star! :)

Great Intro to Hawaii Volcano Park

Posted on: 2010/05/07

I took this tour to visit the famous volcano on the Big Island, as I didn't have time to stay there during my trip. I enjoyed this tour very much, and I loved that the airplane was waiting for us, instead of being rushed or worrying about flight delay.

It was cool to see all the different islands from above. I got some good picture of Haleakala mountain of Maui.

Once we arrive to the Big Island, we were greeted by the local guides. They were very friendly and knowledgeable, and they were there to answer my questions. The mini-bus we rode on was very well-maintained and clean. We made about 6,7 stops altogether, and it was perfect amount for me. We visited the museum, lava tube, steam vent, cookie factory, orchid farm, etc.

After all these sightseeing, we were back to Waikiki by 7pm. This tour is well planned, and it does not tire you out. I enjoyed it very much, and I'd recommend to my friends.
