We participated as a couple. We followed the recommendation to join in the afternoon of our arrival day. We were exhausted from the flight, so I wanted to rest a bit at the hotel and have lunch before joining, but there wasn't enough time. We ended up checking in, changing clothes, and hurriedly heading to the meeting place. On the way, I regretted not doing it the next day, but once we got on the boat and out to sea, all those thoughts disappeared! The incredibly beautiful blue sea and sky, the refreshing breeze, and the view of Waikiki from the ocean made me forget reality and lifted my spirits. I was hungry, so the beer hit me pretty hard (laughs), but that was fine too. You get two free drinks, but given the time, it feels like you might not be able to drink both, so it's better to drink quickly. The snacks were just a few types of snack foods in bowls... but they were surprisingly tasty, so I ended up eating a bunch at the end! It finishes quickly, but it's enough for a sailing experience. It was a wonderfully luxurious time where I could just relax. In our session, the participants were about half foreigners and half Japanese. The main crew member was a cheerful and kind Japanese-American who explained everything in both English and Japanese, which was reassuring. Next time, I want to join a longer sailing trip where we can also see dolphins.

夫婦で参加。到着日の午後におすすめという口コミを参考にしてその通りにしました。飛行機でぐったり疲れていたので、ホテルで少し休んで、お昼を食べてから参加したかったのですが、その時間はなく、チェックインして着替えて慌ただしく集合場所へ向かうことになり、途中、翌日にすればよかったかな、と、ちょっと後悔したのですが、船に乗って海に出たらそんなの全部吹っ飛んでしまいました！信じられないほど奇麗な蒼い海と空。気持ちのいい風と沖からのワイキキの眺め。一気に現実を忘れられてテンションが上がりました。空腹だったのでビールが結構効きました（笑）が、それもまた良し。お酒2杯まで無料ですが、時間的に2杯飲めるかどうかという感じなので、さっさと吞んだ方が良いです。スナックは本当にただのスナック菓子が数種類ボウルに入れてあるだけです…が食べてみたら結構美味しかったので、降り際にまとめ食いしました！あっという間に終わりますが、セーリング体験には十分です。気持ちよくボーッとできて最高に贅沢な時間でした。私たちの参加した回の参加者は外国人と日本人が半々位でした。メインクルーのお兄さんは元気で優しい日系の方で、英語と日本語で順番に説明してくれたので安心でした。次回は、イルカも見れる、もっと長時間のセーリングに参加したいと思っています。

This was my second time participating, following last year. Perhaps due to the season (last time was in March), there were fewer waves this time. My first time in Hawaii!! Sailing is a must!
I chose the Waikiki Rigger Catamaran from various options.
The sea breeze cutting through the wind felt amazing, and I was very satisfied with the views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the boat.
Seeing turtles and dolphins up close was truly moving! (^^)!

ネットのところに行きたかったのですが誰も行かず行きづらかったので残念ながら行きませんでした。沖にでると波も静かなので濡れることはなかったですが浅瀬に近づくと波が高くなり足元は少々濡れました。
水平線やワイキキの街並み、ダイヤモンドヘッドを一望でき景色が最高でしたね！
ウミガメも見れました。
とてもいい体験が出来ました。
夕方出発はサンセットが見れるそうで今度は夕方にのってみたいと思います！

For those considering an easy marine activity, you can enjoy 90 minutes of sailing off the coast of Waikiki with your children. The boat is new, and the staff is friendly. It was unfortunate that we were the only Japanese guests on a fully booked day.

Departure and return are from Waikiki Beach, making access excellent. Wearing swimwear is recommended, but just make sure to wear something that can get wet. The danger level is extremely low. There are no issues with participation for seniors. Both my wife and I qualified for the senior discount. Once you experience it, you might become addicted. I arrived at the reception 10 minutes before the scheduled time according to the voucher. There were white wooden chairs at the reception, but it didn't start until 20 minutes past the scheduled time.

My 2 oldest daughters and I recently took the morning trip and we had a wonderful time.
The staff (Chris & ?...sorry) were fun, energetic, informative & all around great.
We had fun, laughter, conversation, information & those yummy shaker drinks Chris served up. The whole trip made my oldest daughters 1st visit to Hawaii very worth while...a definite "do again" trip.

We traveled as a couple with our children aged 2, 5, and 8. Since the kids are small, snorkeling wasn't suitable, and we didn't want the mood of a dinner cruise, but we still wanted to be on a boat. That's why we signed up for this tour. First, we took off our shoes and boarded barefoot. As the reviews said, it was an impressive tour that was also safe for families with children. Since our schedule was packed (laughs), we were looking for an activity that we could join for a short time and found one that involved riding a boat♪ I had read some experiences, so I expected to get somewhat wet, but I never imagined I would end up completely soaked from head to toe! As we set sail and headed out to sea, the color of the water changed from emerald green to blue. I was so amazed to think that this incredible color was the true color of the ocean. I got quite wet from the waves, but it was a wonderful experience.

Once I got out to the sea, the waves were bigger than I expected, making it fun like surfing. You get quite wet, so it's a good idea to bring a towel or something. I heard that if you're lucky, you can see dolphins and sea turtles; unfortunately, I didn't get to see any dolphins, but I did see a swimming sea turtle. The cocktail made with dark rum and peach juice was a generous portion; the first one was $8, and refills were $3, if I remember correctly. It was very easy to drink and delicious!

This is my fifth trip to Hawaii, and I've always wanted to ride on this catamaran but couldn't participate because it was fully booked. I finally got to join this time.
