I participated in the 3 PM departure on the day I arrived in Hawaii. Thanks to this, I was able to avoid jet lag. The staff seemed to be quite skilled at providing explanations in Japanese during check-in, making it easy to understand. Their bright and cheerful demeanor really made me feel like I was in Hawaii!

When boarding the boat, everyone must leave their footwear in a designated box. Also, be careful as you might get splashed up to your knees if the waves hit while boarding. The day we participated had excellent weather, but it was quite windy on the boat and felt rather cool. As many have mentioned, I recommend bringing a jacket.

I was a bit anxious since I was with my parents, who are nearly 70, but we were able to see a pod of dolphins and a sea turtle, which made them both very happy. My mother, who usually gets seasick, seemed fine with the rocking of this yacht. The drinks sold on board are reasonably priced as well.

This was my sixth time in Hawaii, and I found myself regretting not participating in this activity before. When I go to Hawaii next time, I will definitely rely on your services again.

At first, I mistakenly confused Outrigger with Outrigger Reef, and I thought it was inconvenient that there was no map on the voucher. It's an affordable tour that lasts an hour and a half. My husband and I rode on a catamaran for the first time, and it was stable with no rocking, making it suitable for older couples and families with small children. The view of Waikiki Beach from offshore was a different sight, and we took a lot of photos. Looking down at the water, we saw turtles and schools of fish swimming, and when the staff threw bread, the fish jumped out of the water with white splashes. I participated at 3:00 PM on the day of my arrival on Oahu. I arrived from the Big Island at 11:30 AM, so I had plenty of time. At 2:30 PM, I went to the beach side of the Outrigger Reef on the Beach Hotel, where there were similar umbrellas for boat tours, and I quickly found the sign for the Outrigger Catamaran with blue letters and a staff member. He spoke Japanese well. (I've attached a photo for clarity.) It was my first time on a catamaran, so I was really looking forward to it. I was a bit worried since the boat was on the smaller side, but there was little rocking, and cruising while enjoying the pleasant breeze and views of Waikiki and Diamond Head was incredibly enjoyable—I lost track of time. The crew was friendly and interacted with everyone; there were only my wife and me as Japanese guests, but we were able to enjoy ourselves without feeling out of place. Along the way, we saw whales and fed fish, so there was never a dull moment. They also made cocktails on board, which everyone seemed to enjoy. I definitely want to go again when I visit Oahu. It's suitable for children too.

We went to the meeting place near the boarding area, but there were no landmarks, and we felt a bit anxious while waiting. …Then, as mentioned in previous posts, the staff were the guys sitting under the umbrella right behind the boarding area. (I think it's quite hard to find.)

On the day of the event, the weather was nice, and once we set off, the wind felt refreshing! Since you do get splashed with quite a bit of water, I recommend wearing something that you don't mind getting wet. Your belongings can be stored inside the catamaran, so it's safe to bring them along. The view of Waikiki from out at sea was absolutely wonderful. We even saw a beautiful rainbow, which made us very satisfied. It's a pity we didn't get to see any dolphins.

It was quite bumpy, but it was thrilling, and I enjoyed it without feeling seasick!☆

This time, two women participated. Since it was September, we were blessed with good weather. One of us joined because of Alan's campaign, so I think we got a bit of a bonus there. We participated in the 3 PM departure, which was nice because the sun wasn't too strong. Depending on the day, the sailing departures are at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. There are also tours where you can stop the catamaran offshore for snorkeling, and a sunset sail starting at 5 PM, which I recommend!

The location is easy to find; just look for the friendly old man standing there as a landmark. Once we head offshore, you can enjoy drinks on the catamaran. I think it was around $5... they also have champagne and cocktails. The captain and staff were really nice!

I believe we were on a tour that usually doesn’t stop offshore, but since there were mostly a small number of foreigners, we stopped at a point with fish, and everyone changed into swimsuits and jumped in. As expected, foreigners know how to have fun! With such surprises, I definitely recommend wearing a swimsuit for participation. Everyone should join and enjoy the view of Waikiki from the sea!

私達は通常沖合いには止まらないツアーだっと思いますが、小人数の外人さんが殆どだったので、魚のいるポイントで船を止めて皆水着になって飛び込んでいました。
さすが・・・外人さんは楽しみ方を知ってますね！
そんなサプライズもあるので是非水着を着用しての参加がお勧めです。
皆さんも是非参加して海から見るワイキキを眺めてみてはいかが・・・

In the latter half, I caught a glimpse of some dolphins. I think an hour and a half is just the right amount of time. If it were any longer, it might get boring, so it was a perfectly enjoyable tour that anyone could easily join.

後半、イルカの姿が少しだけ見られました。一時間半という時間はちょうどよいと思います。あまり長くても飽きてしまうので、気軽に参加することのできるちょうど良いツアーでした。

We had such a blast. The crew was great and the music that they played was amazing yet perfect. It was such a nice way to relax and enjoy the beach. We recommend this to anyone who is looking for something relaxing to do besides sitting on the beach. They do offer drinks at a small fee. If you want something to do for 1 1/2 hours then this is for you. The cool part is that once you are in the ocean you can sit on the netting in the front and really enjoy the sites of Waikiki.

それらしい格好をした人を探していたのですが、実際は、砂浜のパラソルの下に普通のおじさんが座ってるんです。乗船する場所は、そこから５０メートルくらい離れていて、ハレクラニホテル前ビーチのそばという方が正確かもしれません。
それから、セーリング開始が３０分遅れになることを現地で聞かされました。さすが、ハワイ時間！セーリングの後に何か予定を組まれる方は、こんなこともあるので、注意された方がいいかと思います。

The Catamaran was great. Hosts were very friendly. We saw whales and dolphins. This is well worth the price. My whole family enjoyed the ride. Hawaii was more than we ever imagined. The view from the catamaran was great. See a couple of pictures.

Until now, I had only been on large ship cruises, but this time I chose a yacht. Besides us, everyone else was foreign, and I liked that it didn't feel like a "Japanese option." After boarding, the staff provided explanations in English, and although there were parts I didn't understand, it added to the excitement of being in a foreign land! The boat advanced into the sea, splashing water, and it was a luxurious experience to be so close to the staff as they raised the sails and steered the boat. 帆をあげ、舵をとるスタッフの方々も間近で、
なんともいえない贅沢な時間でした。
イルカもくじらも見ることはできませんでしたが・・・。

また利用したいと思います。

It was a daytime sailing on a catamaran, and it was just the right amount of time for beginners, feeling very pleasant. I think even small children can enjoy this sailing experience. On the way back to the beach, the direction changed, and just when I was wondering what was happening, we found ourselves among a pod of wild dolphins! Being surrounded by so many dolphins was amazing! I will definitely go again if I have the chance.

カタマランのデイタイムセーリングでしたが、初心者にも丁度よい時間で気持ちよかったです。小さい子でも十分に楽しめるセーリングだと思います。ビーチに帰る途中に方向が変わり、あれ？と思ったら野性のイルカの群れの中に！たくさんのイルカに囲まれて最高でした！また機会があったら乗りに行きます。
