My husband and me decided to do a sunset cruise for our last night in Hawaii. The Captain and staff were curious. We were lead out looking over Waikiki skyline. We had a 3 course meal, however the bar doesn't serve alcohol. It's BYOB only.

Everything was great! The crew was welcoming, the food was very good. I liked the BYOB experience and being able to choose what you wanted to drink. They has spare coolers on the boat and also served soft drinks. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Our group of 12 loved this experience. We did it the first night we landed in Oahu and we were immediately welcomed with aloha. The staff made us laugh and feel welcomed to come back at any point. They made the night enjoyable, and were very clean with the serving process, especially during these difficult times. The food was quite delicious, definitely exceeding our expectations. The sunset as the view for this cruise seals the deal. Would definitely recommend this cruise for any type of party, we as a group of 12 would love to bring our family and friends if we came back.

Amazing Views & Delicious Food

We celebrated outer sons 13th Birthday on the Prince Kuhio Cruise. The crew was amazing and very polite! The food was absolutely delicious from the salad to the entree and cheesecake. But the show stopper was the amazing view of Waikiki beach and seeing the sunset. What a wonderful experience. I highly recommend if you are visiting Honolulu.

It's a positive experience

This tour is just as advertised. We were able to check in at 5:45 though people were already lining up by around 5 p.m.
There is no alcohol available on board but there are unlimited non-alcoholic beverages.
Dinner is totally fine. Not amazing but edible and tasty.
For me, I would rather have spent the money on a dolphin cruise or a view that is further from Waikiki but it does give you nice views of the city and diamond head.
Overall it was a positive experience. It was a lot of couples but would also be fine for a family.

From boarding to dinner, to the gorgeous evenings, riding the “wave” back in to the dock - it was absolutely excellent, Food arrive timely and hot, It tasted very good and the meat was so tender you cut with a fork not a knife. I would do this again when I return, The value was definitely there.

It was just okay, but the waitresses on the vessel made up for it.

The service provided on the dinner cruise by the servers was excellent. They were friendly and nice, always with a smile! I expected more interaction by the captain. He didn't introduce himself to the people on board or had anything to say to us. This dinner cruise was a disappointment, but we tried to make the best of it. The dinner was good, but two of my family members got sea sick because the waters were choppy and the vessel was rocking back and forth pretty bad. At least a photographer took a nice picture of us that we purchased! Thank God I took motion sickness medication before I boarded the vessel.

The food we were served was amazing. I expected it to be decent, but not 5 star restaurant quality considering it had to be made in bulk and served on a boat. It was delicious!
My family sat downstairs because the top got filled up quickly and we would have had to sit separately. If you want to sit in the open air, I suggest being in line to board a little early.
I would definitely do this again.

My boyfriend and I had so much fun on this tour. The crew was so friendly and accommodating and really made our time that much better. The music was great, there was a videographer, and the boat has a really cool set up once it gets dark out. Would definitely recommend this tour to any friends looking for a fun night out.

Misleading information

Food was good and my 5 yr old picky eater liked his Mac and cheese dish. However on the website it says BYOB or drink are available for purchase. We were rushing and forgot our beers at our hotel but we thought we’ll just buy some there. When we asked for drink menu the waitress said they didn’t sell any alcoholic beverages and it was only BYOB. We told her about the website and she said some websites have wrong information. So we only had options of some juices and sodas. Also call for kid menu options which was only mac and cheese. Thank goodness he liked it. We book it at 5:30pm which was perfect time for the sunset views. But after sunset it did get cold and it was a windy night so I would think twice about going in shorts and tank and the boat did rock a little. I would do this again but better dressed especially for kids and don’t forget your drinks. Oh and the juices and sodas are unlimited and free.
