We participated as a couple. Since check-in was at the beach in front of the hotel, there wasn't a check-in counter; instead, there was a staff member under a parasol, which mixed in with other beachgoers and was a bit confusing (laughs). I thought this was quite typical of being overseas. We moved to a boat in front of the Halekulani Hotel to board.

Everyone else was from English-speaking countries. The crew spoke only in English, and since I had some snorkeling experience, I managed to keep up. The snorkeling lasted quite a while, about an hour. There was an explanation in English on how to put on the gear, and we were given life jackets and goggles (no fins, but that was fine). Equipped with the snorkeling set, we headed into the sea!! When I swam along with the crew, there were sea turtles!!! I was thrilled to encounter four of them! The seawater was a bit murky, so it was hard to see the fish, but I still had a great time. After that, we returned to the boat for sailing. It was an exhilarating moment with the large sail unfurled, creating a sense of speed. You can buy water and beer on the boat, so no need to worry about drinks! (Cash is better.) There was also a restroom on board. Since sailing can be quite bumpy for a long time, those prone to seasickness should take motion sickness medication. It was a great activity to enjoy the waters of Waikiki in a short amount of time!!

ホテルの前のビーチでチェックインという事だったので、チェックインカウンター的なものはなく、パラソルの下に担当のお姉さんが居て他の海水浴客のパラソルと混ざり困惑（笑）これも海外っぽいなぁなんて思いました。
ハレクラニホテルの前にある船に移動して乗船。

私達以外は全員英語圏の方だった。
船員も終始英語で、スノーケル経験者だったのでなんとかついていけたって感じ。
スノーケルは長めで、1時間くらい。英語での装着の説明もあり、ライフジャケットと水中メガネを渡されます。（フィンは無し。無くても大丈夫でした。）
スノーケルセットを装備していざ、海へ！！
船員の人に泳いでついて行くと…そこには海ガメが！！！その後も4匹も出会えて感動でした！少し海水が濁っていたので魚は見えにくかったですが、楽しめました。その後、船に戻ってセイリング。大きな帆を広げてスピード感とスリリングなひと時でした。お水やビールなども船上で買えるので飲み物の心配なし！（現金の方が良い）トイレも船内にありました。セイリングは割と長い時間揺れるので船酔いする人は酔い止めが必要です。
ワイキキの海を短時間で楽しめる良いアクテビティでした！！

The meeting place was hard to find. The guides were all foreigners, but there were Japanese language sheets with important information provided. We used the emergency life jackets as they were. There were only black fish, but we were able to see two families of sea turtles. They came up for air, so we were able to swim together for a while, which was very moving.

I previously participated in another snorkeling tour off Waikiki and had a great time, so this time I decided to join this one, which is slightly more expensive but includes a life vest as standard. My husband, who isn't the best swimmer, insisted on having a life vest, so we chose this option, and it turned out to be a good decision. Fortunately, there were plenty of sea turtles this time, which was a delight. The water clarity was decent, and personally, I think you can have a great time snorkeling off Waikiki without needing to go far. For those who have limited time but still want to snorkel, I think this is a great option. Drinks are available for purchase, and snacks are free. As expected, drinks are on the pricier side, so it might be a good idea to bring your own.

以前もう一方のワイキキ沖シュノーケルに参加してヨカッタので今回は若干高いけどライフベストが基本で配られるこちらに参加してみました。泳ぎが今ひとつな主人がライフベストがないとイヤ、というのでそうしたのですが、結果よかったです。ラッキーなことにウミガメが今回たくさんいて堪能。透明度もまずまずだし個人的には遠出しなくても十分ワイキキ沖で楽しめると思います。あまり時間がないけどシュノーケルも、という方にはポイント高いと思います。ドリンクは有料、スナックは無料です。当たり前ですがドリンクは高めなので、持参がよいかと・・・

These guys are fantastic. Very customer centric and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to show us a good time and all with a great sense of humour. They had spotted a pod of dolphins off to the left of our journey out to the turtles and took a wee detour so we could experience the dolphins. It was amazing!! Loved the turtles experience - the only recommendation here would be that the option of being able to hire a gopro on board would have put the icing on the cake. We didn't have an underwater camera and would gladly have paid to hire one to capture the turtles and colourful fish down under.
The sail was fantastic and the flying fish was another added unexpected bonus.
What a job!

Aside from the great weather and beautiful views, Captain Clifton (and his first mate) made the cruise even more enjoyable, with tons of informative facts and joke thrown into the mix. The boat was clean, the supply of drinks varied for adults and children and the day couldn't have been spent any better.

The Japanese guide starts at 10 AM.
You board the boat from the HGVC pier and head out to the submarine.
It's a 10-minute cruise, but you can see Waikiki from the ocean side, which is quite nice.

We dive to a depth of 100 feet, so you can see a lot of fish.
There are efforts made to attract the fish, and there was even a quite large turtle.

My 83-year-old mother also enjoyed it very much.

The weather was great, and the waves were calm, so I was looking forward to enjoying a wonderful underwater walk. However, the water clarity was poor. The fish were sparse, and while the small fish entering and exiting the wreckage of ships and airplanes on the seabed were cute, there weren't as many varieties or numbers as I had hoped. Furthermore, at around 30 meters underwater, due to the relationship of sunlight with color wavelengths, even brightly colored fish appeared bluish overall, so I didn't feel the vividness typical of the southern seas, which was disappointing.

We participated as a family of three: my husband, daughter, and two grandmothers. We chose this tour because I wanted to show my grandmother, who can't swim, the underwater world, and I also wanted to show my daughter the fish in the ocean from a submarine.

The guide was in English, so I couldn't understand much, but there were translated guide messages in various languages coming through the headphones inside the submarine, which was quite educational.

Since I have no experience diving, it was refreshing to see the sunken ships and planes that serve as homes for the fish.

It was nice to take a boat out to sea and then board the submarine; it felt like a bit of a bonus to be able to enjoy both experiences.

I thought it was a little cold inside the submarine.

Actually, I'm weak on boats and afraid of water, but this time I participated because of my family's wishes. However, thanks to the staff and the life vests, I was able to enjoy snorkeling with peace of mind, and the boat didn't rock, so I could enjoy my cocktails deliciously. The crew was super nice and very informative. I felt very safe while sailing and snorkling. A crew member snorkles with you and helps you spot the turtles. There were lots of turtles to be seen! We were fortunate to go on a day that there were only about 10 of us, so we basically had the boat to ourselves! It was great! I mean you are snorkling with green sea turtles and sailing in Hawaii "what's not to love"?! I highly recommend Holokai Catamaran Turtle Canyon Snorkel Sail (from Waikiki Beach) / Snorkel Cruise!

I decided to participate to excite my elementary school son, but my wife and I ended up being the ones who were excited. Since we had no experience with scuba diving, it was a lot of fun to dive into the ocean. Additionally, the guide had a great sense of humor, so I'm glad we joined. I highly recommend this for families!

I was scheduled for a 9:10 pickup, but I overslept and woke up at 10:00... I hurriedly contacted them, and they quickly changed the time for me. I was worried about getting seasick, so I took motion sickness medication after breakfast. I didn't get sick, but I was hit by an overwhelming drowsiness. The deeper we went, the darker it became, and the visibility wasn't that clear, so I dozed off and felt a bit out of it. If asked if I would go again, my answer would be NO. As mentioned in Manou Yamashita's book, in the morning, there were mostly Japanese people, so if you want to feel like you're abroad, I recommend the afternoon trips. In the morning, it was nice to have a Japanese guide and be able to listen to the explanations without headphones since there were many Japanese people... It was good that the shuttle bus dropped us off not at the original location, but partway, allowing us to get off in front of DFS without returning to the Sheraton. By the way, Manou recommended walking along the coast to the boarding area instead of taking the shuttle bus.

酔ってしまったら嫌だなあと思って、酔い止め薬を朝食後に飲みました。酔わなかったですけど、もの凄い眠気に襲われ、艦内は潜れば潜るほど暗くなるし、そこまで透明度も明瞭でないので、ウトウト、ぼーっとしてしまいました。もう1回行く？と聞かれたら、ＮＯ、です。山下マヌーさんの本に載っていた通り、午前中は、日本人がほとんどだったので、海外気分を感じたいのであれば、午後便がお勧めです。午前は、日本語ガイドになり、（日本人が多かったので）ヘッドフォンをつけずに解説を聞けるのは良かったと思いますが・・・。送迎バスの送りで、元の場所でなく、途中で、おろしてもらえたのは良かったです。（シェラトンまで戻らずにＤＦＳ前で降車できた）ちなみに、マヌーさんは、送迎バスで運んでもらうのではなく、海岸をずっと歩いて、乗船場まで行くことをオススメしていました。

I participated with my family and my 2-year-old nephew. I was nervous that there might be a height check since he was just barely 92 cm, but there was no check, and we were able to board without any issues.

The boat from the beach to the submarine sways quite a bit. We had to wait about 10 minutes for the submarine, and during that time, people who are prone to motion sickness felt quite nauseous on the swaying boat. Once we boarded the submarine, it was calm and steady once submerged.

Underwater, the visibility was poor, and we couldn't see many fish. There were fish around the artificially sunk feeding area. I was a bit disappointed because the photos on the website looked too beautiful, and I had that image in mind. Additionally, inside the submarine, we only listened to explanations through headphones, and there was hardly any interaction from the crew, which was a bit disappointing. 浜辺から潜水艦までの船が揺れます。また潜水艦を待ってる時間が10分くらいあり、その間も揺れる船上で待機のため酔いやすい人はかなり気持ち悪くなってました。潜水艦に乗船し、沈んでしまえば揺れもなく穏やかです。

沈むと海の中は濁っておりあまり魚が見えませんでした。人工的に沈められた餌場の周りには魚がいます。ホームページなどの写真が綺麗すぎるのでそのイメージでいたのでがっかりです。また、潜水艦の中はヘッドホンで説明を聞くだけで乗務員さんからの話はほとんど無いのでそれも少し残念です。小学生くらいの子供は楽しんでいました。
