I felt quite restricted due to my lack of English skills. There were no Japanese participants. As for the whales, I was able to spot them surfacing about three times, but they were only the size of my fingernail for a brief moment, and they were too far away to take any pictures, which was disappointing. As everyone mentioned in their reviews, the sea breeze was cold, and during the sunset tour in March, wearing an ultra-light down jacket was just right. There was no place inside the boat to shield from the wind. The strong swaying and cold, along with the surprisingly long duration of the trip, caused my mother, who is in her 70s, to feel unwell.

I would recommend this for those who want to "enjoy a leisurely cruise while feeling the sea breeze" rather than for whale watching! There were small children moving around the boat, but I was quite worried they might fall through the gaps in the handrails due to the significant rocking.

強い揺れと寒さと、航行が意外と長くて、70代の母は体調を崩してしまいました。
鯨目的より、「のんびり海の風を感じながらクルーズしたい」という方にはオススメです！小さなお子さんが船上を行き来していましたが、かなり上下左右に揺れるので手すりの隙間から落ちてしまわないか心配でした。

The boat was a catamaran, which had less rocking, but it seems that you can get closer to the whales on a smaller boat. Therefore, binoculars are essential. The scenery on the way to the whale watching spot was amazing. I was able to see the whales jumping perfectly, but my companion only caught a glimpse. It seems we saw plenty of scenes with the whales raising their tails and splashing their pectoral fins. Since these moments only last about 1 to 2 seconds, it's somewhat understandable. Additionally, the views of Waikiki's streets and Diamond Head on the way there, along with the sea breeze and splashes of water, were refreshing. I highly recommend this tour.

Most of the guests were from Europe and America, with a few Japanese and Korean people. The guide spoke only in English, mixing in jokes, which made for a lively conversation. I didn't understand everything, but it was fun!

As for the whales, we saw them a few times, but they were quite far away and only surfaced for a few seconds, so we couldn't take any photos. However, the excitement in the air was palpable. Wonderful experience swimming with the turtles. But I was struggling with light headedness and nausea. The lifeguard and crew were so caring and sensitive. They encouraged me to stay out in the water as long as I felt confident but then took me back to the boat via the surf board when it was too much. I was given a ginger ale to sip on and the team frequently checked on me. Always encouraging and supportive. I never felt shamed or ridiculed. Thank you

We had an incredible experience. It was early in the season so we didn’t think we were going to see anything. The crew told us to hurry and board as some other boats had said they saw some whales out there. We had been out for maybe 20 minutes and we saw a couple of spouts in the distance between two boats. We were all looking way out at those spouts when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, a male humpback jumped straight up out of the water and breached about 15 yards in front of our boat!!! No one got a picture because we weren’t expecting it and we all just watched it unbelievably in that moment! It doesn’t get any better than that! The captains were so helpful and knowledgeable!

For those who are not proficient in English, there was no explanation in Japanese at all. I understand that there were only two of us Japanese participants along with one other person, but... Also, there was a sign saying there would be snacks and drinks, but we ended up not knowing when we could use them. This is because the whale watching point was really close by, and while we were looking for whales on the deck, it all ended before we knew it. By that time, the food had been taken away, and everyone was looking for something to eat, but there was nothing to be found. While I was indeed moved to see the whales, the staff on the boat were lacking. The hula dance on the boat was just a simple hula dance by a young girl from the staff? The staff seemed to be having fun, but... In the end, most people didn't put anything in the tip box. I did put in a little because it was mentioned in the tour description that tips were necessary, but I don't think it was really needed.
