I'm afraid of heights, but my husband really wanted to try it, so I challenged myself at the lowest height. It was higher than I expected and scary, but it was fun and over in no time. At the end, you splash into the sea, so it's best to wear something that can get wet! The transportation staff and the boat crew were also very kind!

We did several activities on our honeymoon. Since it was my wife's first experience with parasailing, I accompanied her, but to be honest, it was tough for me because I get seasick. My wife seemed to enjoy the 120 meters of the experience. If you're going to do it, I recommend going for at least 90 meters!

On February 19, 2017, I went parasailing. During this time of year in Hawaii, it was the rainy season, and it was colder than I expected. The weather was unstable, with rain and sunshine alternating throughout the day, creating a whirlwind of weather conditions.

I was worried that the activity might get canceled due to the strong winds and somewhat rough seas, but they came to pick me up in front of the hotel right on time.

All the instructions were in English (which is to be expected), and they spoke incredibly quickly. The only things I understood were that I could get photos taken for $30 and that they would appreciate tips if possible.

As long as I understood that, there were no major issues. They helped me with all the equipment, and they communicated what to do through gestures.

Since it was my first time parasailing, it was both fun and a bit scary, especially when being carried by the wind. Overall, I was satisfied with the activity, but I wish I had done it during a warmer time.

2017.2.19パラセーリングをしました。この時期のハワイは雨季で、予想以上に寒かったし、天気も安定しないのか、この日は降ったり止んだり晴れたりと、目まぐるしい天気でした。

全体の感想としては、アクティビティ自体は満足ですが、もっと暖かい時期にしたかったです。

I was a bit anxious because the bus didn't arrive even after 10 minutes past the meeting time, but a cheerful man came to pick us up (laughs). Since the scheduled time was 4 PM, which was a bit late, there were no other customers, just us. The staff were really nice people, and it became a truly enjoyable memory.

For parasailing, I chose the 120m option. It might be a little scary for first-timers, but it's just for a moment. Also, since it was windy, there was a feeling of floating when the wind stopped. However, even my friend who can't handle roller coasters (like the Tower of Terror at Tokyo DisneySea) was able to do it, so I think most people can enjoy it!

This was an awesome experience and my husband and I had a great time! We both felt very safe at all times and were provided with mandatory life jackets as a safety measure. Extremely fun! I'm terrified of heights, but this was worth it. The bus picks you up right at your hotel and takes you to the dock, where you get on a boat with two really funny but knowledgable guys to guide you through this. Never felt unsafe, never felt like I should have picked a different company. They even took pictures of us and we got to buy the photos on an SD card after the event. Well worth the money and would definitely do again.

"Did I manage to ride even as a beginner?!"
My friend (a woman in her mid-20s with excellent athletic ability and skilled at snowboarding) managed to catch waves and was smiling and giving peace signs with both hands by her second try, despite it being her first experience surfing. The instructor even asked her, "Is this really your first time?" She seemed very satisfied and said, "I want to surf again when I go back to Japan!" (^^)

On the other hand, I (a generally average woman in my early 30s with no particular aversion to sports) fell 7 times out of 10 attempts and could only stand up about 3 times (even then, I couldn't manage a peace sign and was quite wobbly).

"The instructor was amazing"
I have participated in various tours with Veltra, but I thought this instructor had the toughest job. When we got tired from paddling, they would pull me along while paddling and push us with all their might to help us catch waves... it was really physical labor!!! I thought it was a tough job. They were also fun to chat with, which made it easy to tip them (^^).

"The photos were great"
They were secretly taken from the shore and turned out quite well.

"The beach was full of reefs and corals"
We wore shoes for surfing, but even so, I ended up hitting my legs against the reefs and corals when I fell. At first, we learned how to protect ourselves from the reefs and corals, but I still bumped into them a bit. As someone who isn't very skilled, I ended up with a lot of bruises on my legs... というのは、私達がパドリングに疲れたら、私の事も引っ張ってパドリングしてくれたり、私達を波に乗せるために力一杯押してくれたり…ほんっと肉体労働！！！
たいへんなお仕事だなぁと思いました。
おしゃべりが面白くて楽しいってのもありましたし、チップを気持ちよく払えました(^^)

《写真が良かった》
岸からこっそり撮られています。なかなかの出来でした。

《ビーチは岩礁とサンゴだらけ》
サーフィン用の靴を履いてやるんですけど、それでも転んだ時に、脚を岩礁やサンゴにぶつけてしまいます。
最初に、岩礁やサンゴから身を守る方法を習うのですが、それでも多少はぶつけちゃいます。
